"For a less interactive experience, the Japanese restaurant in the Jefferson Center neighborhood offers sukiyaki, where the meats and vegetables served in a simmering bowl of savory broth. The as-the-menu-describes-it Japanese hot pots includes beef and tofu options, both with glass noodles. Takeout orders can be placed online; there are DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats deliveries; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Darcie Duttweiler

Extremely satisfied with my lunch. Service was fast and food came out pretty quick. The chicken katsu curry was very tasteful. The chicken katsu was perfectly crunchy and the curry was also very great. The combination of the plate was very well executed. The ramen was rich in flavor as well, the wavy noodles went well with it. The accompanying gyoza was so tasty, the sauce complimented the gyoza. The Japanese lemonade was perfect for the warm weather today, refreshing!

This place was awesome! I have lived in the Artisan for over a year now and cannot believe it took me this long to try this place! Great food and such generous portions! Just look at my Bento Box! Service was excellent as well! Helen was awesome! I will be back!!

Google
Other than the local prices, this place feels like a Japanese restaurant. The yakitori is standout—expertly grilled the skewer we ate delivered a rich, smoky bite with just the right char. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The matcha was the least matcha flavor I've had in a while but the cheesecake was still deliciously textured. With every bite, I loved the katsu curry more and more. The space feels intimate yet lively with almost every table occupied during the lunch hour. Prices are reasonable for the quality, making Miyo a great hidden gem for fans of authentic, no-frills Japanese cuisine.

Came here for the first time and was very pleased by the service, food, and atmosphere. Our server, Eric, was consistent with checking on us and gave great advice on what food was good. My girlfriend and I got the jalapeño bomb appetizer and was very pleased with both taste and presentation. For the main my girlfriend got some kind of ramen and i got the chicken teriyaki. Couldn’t be more satisfied and will come back sometime in the future!

Google
The best we've had in the Austin area, in an unassuming strip attached to an apartment complex on Parmer. Flavorful miso. Huge lunch bento boxes. Fresh, savory sashimi, included in several lunch options. Professional, quick service. Fair prices.

Google
I’m so sad to announce that me and my boyfriend both got food poisoning after dining at this place today. We thought the food was delicious and the atmosphere is nice, but both of our stomachs got so upset after this lunch! We ordered two yakitoris, one chicken karaage, one takoyaki, one tonkastu curry, and my boyfriend ordered a Korean coffee as well. As soon as we started driving back home, my boyfriend’s stomach started hurting and for the next few hours we are both stuck in the bathroom. This is a really bad experience considering this meal came out to be more than $70. I really hope the owner can work on ensuring food safety and quality for the sake of your future customers.

I just had the nicest experiences eating here the food was great, the service everybody was so nice and helpful, and the music they were playing was straight out of my playlist I will be recommending this place and will be returning!

Google
I’ve been here a few times during lunch hour and the service is always amazing! The girls are so sweet and attentive. And the food is great. I usually get the sushi roll bento box. I could drink a gallon of the miso soup. If you enjoy sushi nini in RR you’ll enjoy it here too!

Yelp
Another stellar meal at Miyo! I would eat there daily if I could. their food is consistently fresh and their service is consistently, excellent! I've reviews this place a few times. Try anything on their menu and you'll be pleased!

Yelp
This is our favorite sushi place! It's so amazing I forgot to take a picture. Service is great and cute place. The floors however are always sticky but I can let it slide because this is the freshest fish around. We LOVE THE Miyo Roll and the salmon sushi. 10/10 amazing!!! We wish they delivered all the way to Georgetown.

Yelp
: Wow, just wow! Miyo Sushi deserves all the stars for their incredible food and impeccable service. I ordered the Miyo combo and was blown away by the freshness and variety of sushi included. Each piece was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. And let's talk about the squid salad - it was a refreshing and delicious addition to the meal, with the perfect balance of textures and flavors. The staff at Miyo Sushi were friendly, attentive, and truly made the dining experience memorable. From their warm greetings to their helpful recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic meal. If you're in the mood for top-quality sushi and impeccable service, look no further than Miyo Sushi. It's a five-star dining experience through and through.

Yelp
I got their Nara combo which came with 20 sashimi and 2 miso soup. All of their fishes were fresh and melt in your mouth. My favorites were the escolar and salmon. One thing I didn't enjoy was their tuna. It's not the best tuna I had. I also tried their chicken karage. They are big and the spicy mayo suace was good. I do want them crispier though. They have a free parking lot.

Steph R.

Yelp
A great sushi find! Loved all of the rolls I've ordered here so far. My favorites were the Lion's Yellowtail and Lemon Salmon rolls. One note on the Lemon salmon roll - lemon basically cooks fish when it comes into contact so I've noticed that the slices on top leave a cooked mark. Might be something to rethink or use thinner slices. I've also ordered the Miyo roll which is delicious as well.

Yelp
Miyo, formerly to me as Miyako, has been a delightful place for Japanese dinner on our frequent take out and dine in adventures. We stopped in a few weekends ago when hubs and I found that we had a date night available courtesy of our gym doing toddler activities! We ordered a boatload of food, all of which was divine, they even had frozen adult beverages which I indulged in and the yakitori skewers were buy 5, get 1 free! The Japanese katsu curry was giant and after eating our sushi tower, takoyaki and rolls, I def over ordered, as I usually do lol. Service was top notch and parking was a breeze! Price point is great for the amount of food you get, and we definitely love returning to Miyo for continued noms! FYI sitting by the windows, we were extremely cold under a draft so bring a jacket or sit in a toastier spot :)

Yelp
My wife and I just recently moved to the Austin area from Houston, and as big sushi lovers, we had already tried about 5 other sushi places in the area before going to Miyo Yakitori & Sushi. To say I was pleasantly surprised by our experience is an understatement, as we just picked the place at random. Honestly, I'm a pretty picky individual, so the fact that I left there with no "off the top of my head" improvements is crazy to me. Everything was delicious. Granted, I didn't get anything particularly unique or crazy (fried gyoza, crunch roll, and chicken fried rice), but there wasn't a single thing I could critique out of any of it. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Same goes for what my wife got. In addition to the perfect food, the atmosphere was nice and inviting. No strange odors and looked clean all around from what I recall. Our server was kind, and the food came out quite quickly. We will definitely be going there again. Who knows, it might become our new sushi spot!

Yelp
If you enjoy well-made sushi, then this is the place for you --especially during the summer, when the college students are not as plentiful, this place is wonderful, and less crowded. The service was exemplary, and the ambience is just as comfortable as you could ask. Trust me when I tell you, the hot miso soup, or the hot saké, or any roll on the menu, will send you home in a state of culinary bliss.

Yelp
"Oh, what is a girl to do when she is craving some sushi; check-in with Yelp of course!" Miyo has received a lot of good reviews, and there are plenty of drool-worthy photos that got my eyeballs excited...so I decided to check them out. Their website has to-go ordering built in which was pretty convenient so I popped on, dropped a quick $70 bucks, and was all set. (They have pretty good lunch deals from Mon-Friday 11:00AM to 2:30PM). FOOD: I got an appetizer, two of their lunch combos, and two type of fish for nigiri sushi. (Bonus: they have a freebie when you check-in on Yelp). When I picked up my food, I checked in with the Yelp app, and got a free beverage (alcohol not included) that I saved for later. - SHRIMP TEMPURA (4 shrimp) - light, crispy, and the shrimp was not overcooked! So good!! They warmed up nicely in the oven and were not oily. - SUSHI COMBO (9-pieces of chef choice nigiri sushi + miso soup) - great deal, & delicious! - SASHIMI COMBO C: (5 pieces of chef choice nigiri sushi + 6 pieces sashimi + miso soup) - another great lunch deal, thick pieces of sashimi and sushi! - SALMON (Sake) nigiri 2 pieces - thick & good salmon. - YELLOWTAIL TORO sushi nigiri - nice & fatty yellowtail. VERDICT: All-in-all, I was really happy with the meal. Good quality fish, (not amazing but very enjoyable at this price point); no items were missing from our order, and everything was packed nicely. I also really loved their thick-cuts of fish, especially on their nigiri (the fish was much larger than the rice on both ends). I will definitely come back to try their other rolls or other menu items! If you want to try their sushi, sashimi or other dishes, I highly recommend checking their lunch specials as not only will you get to try many items at one time, but you will also experience them at a lower cost.

Yelp
I come here often and everytime I go it reminds me that this place is so slept on! It's seriously so delicious, I've never had a bad experience. I've gotten almost everything on the menu and they're all solid choices, and i often catch myself ordering the chirashi don the most. The fish is so fresh and the way they make their sushi rice compliments the fish so well. The staff is super friendly and just overall the vibes of the restaurant are cozy and inviting. Although it benefits me that this place hasn't popped off, it really does deserve to pop off because of how good they are!!

David P.

Yelp
All things I've ordered have been nut allergy friendly, pretty sure most of their menu is. I've only ordered for pickup, have never eaten in at the restaurant. Parking is a bit difficult; there are some spots in the corner of the apartment lot. The order time estimate is sometimes overestimated, as I've shown up early and my order has been ready during lunch. Texas Roll: Massive, overpriced. I wouldn't get it again but it is a pinnacle of American style rolls. Salmon Maki Roll: More reasonably priced and the salmon is pretty good. Would get two of these over a Texas Roll. Tonkatsu Curry: Quite a lot of curry for the rice, great portions all around. I'd definitely come back for this. Overall, the quality of the food is quite good for a place that's more accessible from a price and wait perspective than other well known sushi restaurants. Parking is the biggest issue.

Alan H.

Yelp
Pretty solid sushi place near a busy highway that can be easily passed on. The pricing was moderate but I do feel like it was good quality sushi. We got dinner plate where you can pick a roll, and come with chef's special nigiri. Overall experience was good and would come back from time to time?

Olivia Y.

Yelp
We went for tonight's dinner and although it had many empty seats, it quickly became full house in matter of minutes after we got there. We could tell that it was ran by korean people because of the little korean touches in their menu and ambiances. The sashimi platter came with 9 cuts (3 each) of salmon, red snapper, and sea bream (I think). They were freshly cut and fatty which was worth the $25.95. The beef sukiyaki was sweet and flavorful. I'd say too sweet for my taste but each their own. It was good nonetheless. We had two rolls. The Amazing Roll and the Fuji Roll. They were also good albeit the rice in both the rolls was overcooked and sloppy-looking. I wouldn't mind coming again and trying different dishes but since it's made from Korean people, I'd feel like I'm eating home cooked meal... ehh. I would have to think about it but I would for sure reccommend.

Eina D.

Yelp
I've been here a few different times and have learned to solely stick to the sushi and rolls. With that in mind, their sushi and rolls are delicious! I am always satisfied with what ever I order: nigiri, rolls, handrolls. The portions are generous and I can always appreciate a bite that hardly fits in one go. My personal favorite is the scallop gunkan; creamy with a well balanced flavor. I'm not a fan of the skewers (too dry and no flavor) or the ramen so would suggest skipping those. There's usually plenty of seating and the staff is very attentive.

Journey M.

Yelp
We love the location, staff, and food quality is great at this sushi restaurant. We try to go 2-3 times per month. The atmosphere is comfy and friendly. They allow custom orders too. They really take care of us and remember our orders. There are pretty lights on the patio to enjoy the weather when it is nice. You will not regret it. Thank you.

Ashley O.

Yelp
I was super excited to visit due to the high reviews, but after my visit it left me wanting more. The variety in sushi rolls was a bit lacking. Majority had spicy tuna in them which I guess is a plus if you're a huge fan. I will say the quality of the fish was excellent! It tasted super fresh. The service was also super quick as we did not wait long after just putting our order in. I also got the tempura udon. Broth was a bit too sweet for my liking and by the time i received my meal the broth was soaked up with the amount of tempura pieces that were in the bowl. Shrimp tempura was fried perfectly and super crispy! It's a cute place to go with ample parking.

Yelp
Miyo is a solid choice for good sushi in austin. Its a casual environment but has nice patio seating for warm days and the service is quick. The quality of the fish was on par with more expensive restaurants in the area, and while I would not say this sushi is inexpensive its very reasonably priced for the level of quality. The restaurant has a dedicated parking lot so that is easy. Its right off Parmer so very convenient for anyone in the area. We both got the sushi dinner (it was nigiri sushi chef's choice with miso, a roll, and a hand roll) and while initially we thought it was pricey we were really surprised with both the amount and quality of food. Highly recommend!

Mary B.

Yelp
This place was fantastic from the service to the food. Highly recommend checking it out. I had delicious chicken curry katsu! Best I've had in Austin!!! It was fantastic! Even had enough for the next day. We started out with the chicken karaage. So moist inside and crispy on the outside. The service was wonderful. It's a cute little place. Does have some outdoor seating as well. Easy parking as there is a nice size lot! I will definitely go back.

Lauren B.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing service, and a nice vibe. Everything we ordered came out fast and tasted amazing! Highly recommend the garlic edamame and chicken fried rice. It will definitely be a go to spot! :)

Lan Anh V.

Yelp
Miyo is our go-to sushi restaurant. My fiancé and I come here regularly and also order take out on occasion. The sushi is consistent every time. They have excellent lunch deals. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of sushi that you get. Our favorite rolls are the dragon roll, spider roll, rising sun, and lemon-salmon roll. The restaurant is tucked away, but don't miss out!

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Overall the fish was ~fresh~ and the cuts were thick. I was pleasantly surprised by the Lion's yellowtail roll. The yellowtail cut was thick on top and the spicy tuna was actually spicy. The roll was big and filled us up pretty quickly. The salad was fresh and light. The salmon temaki was also really good with thick salmon cuts. Only tried one of their many yakitori, and it was cooked well! I am very satisfied with my visit and would come again. Did I say their fish cut was thicc?

Yelp
A positive change has taken place from my previous experiences . Better service attentive staff and the food has improved and become consistent. The ambiance is the same as it always has been with an addition to the patio which now extends around to the front of the restaurant. This place is intimate and upbeat not loud but also not boring and quite either . They have a great selection of Sake and beers to choose from as well . Lunch specials include delicious Ramen and Bento Boxe options with chashu being my favorite for both ramen and Bento lunches with the House sushi Bento in a close second place. I really enjoy the simple but tasty Crunchy Salmon house roll and absolutely have to recommend the garlic edamame as an appetizer. My kids absolutely love the Chashu Ramen and being that they are 3 and 7 can share one between the two of them. I'm sure happy that the service has been improved and the quality of the sushi has made a comeback like when it first opened. I'm excited to recommend this place to everyone I know and will continue to come back as often as I can be a I now enjoy the experience as a whole. Please give Miyo a try the next time your in the area on Parmer between 620 and Anderson Mill . Don't miss the turn to the entrance of the Artisian Apartment complex .

Yelp
Miyo Yakitori & Sushi is the type of GREAT that makes me want to go back and adjust all my reviews since I started yelping in 2011. You know, to re-baseline. Outstanding service & amazing flavor profiles that pop in EVERYTHING. The sushi is creative and favorable. THE Lemon Salmon Roll is a must. Soooo Fresh. Soooo light. Sooo Refreshing! Oh and the patio is delightful!

Ashley P.

Yelp
So good. Wonderful service. Amazing food. Atmosphere is so pleasant as well! We are definitely coming back soon!

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Delicious sushi, outstanding owner. We sat outside and the temperature dropped significantly. I am always cold. The owner was finishing her shift, saw me shivering, and quickly retrieved the warmest fleece Sherpa blanket, her personal blanket, and wrapped it around my shoulders. She insisted I keep it so it is around my shoulders as I type! Loved the Roonie roll and Spider roll as well. Outstanding service and generosity! We will be back!

Rick S.

Yelp
We are staying in a hotel temporarily while our house is being finished by our builder (we need a Yelp page for D.R. Horton-I have a LOT to say about them, not good) and Miyo is not far from where we are staying. Our sushi experiences have been hit or miss so far in Austin but this was definitely on target. Located inside a residential apartment complex, Miyo sits next to a little coffee shop. The interior decor features a long sushi bar in the rear with the dining room in front of it as you enter. The menu is better than average in terms of its variety: sushi, sashimi, bento, donburi, and yakitori. It also has some Japanese home standby choices such as sukiyaki. We started with a poke bowl appetizer. The fish and vegetables arrived at our table artfully arranged in a bowl laced with a very light dressing. Actually, I wish they had more dressing on it because it was absolutely delicious and I had to restrain myself from licking the bowl. The sushi and sashimi are excellent here. Sushi rice is properly seasoned and slightly dryer than I would normally like but still very good. For nigiri, the fish portions are large, and my chirashi was especially delicious (see picture). The price for my dinner was a bit higher than I'm used to but the portions were correspondingly larger and a very good value. Service is friendly and attentive and I felt very welcome upon arrival and when we departed. I've since ordered carryout sushi and the quality has been maintained on those orders. This is a great place for some casual sushi or a night on the town. Recommended.

Hungry G.

Yelp
I have been having lunch here for more years than I can count. The food is always good and the service has been great. I've always left satisfied and in a good mood. However, today the service left much to be desired. Our server seemed disinterested and lacked any semblance of personality. Throughout the meal, they were notably inattentive, even though I watched them pass by the carry out box I requested numerous times. I actually had to go get it myself. To make matters worse, I also had to walk to the exit to request my check. Sadly, this was the first time I did not leave a tip due to the disappointing service. It's a shame that such good food was overshadowed by a lackluster dining experience.

Austin Tech A.

Yelp
Another exciting moment at a great sushi place here in North Austin. I've been following the owner since he was in Osaka Japan tremendous sushi, chef, tremendous fresh servings of the best sushi in town. Cater to you sometimes if you wish recommended number one. Mario

Michel F.

Yelp
You know, this little unassuming place inside an apartment complex on Parmer Ln is actually a true neighborhood gem. The food is good, very fresh and has great flavor. The owners are very attentive to their customer service and the prices are reasonable in the crazy town of Waterloo.... I had the chirachi bowl the other day and it was simply great. Their sukiyaki is also tasty.

Hong L.

Yelp
Value for your buck! The portions here are huge for what you pay for, like the chicken katsu dish. The sushi here is decent, they have baked sushi rolls which was what I was particularly looking for but it was not the kind of baked sushi I was used to. My only feedback was the sushi rice was a bit too mushy and overall it was okay, enough to satisfy your cravings. Service was attentive and friendly. Interior was moderately spacious, located at the corner lot. Parking was easy in the parking lot.

Paula P.

Yelp
omg this place was good! Met some friends here because it was half way from our houses and super happy that we stopped by this place. Lots of Japanese dish options, great portions, and super fresh sushi. Super chill environment, easy to talk, and just good food overall. Definitely worth a try if you're around the area.

Jessica L.

Yelp
This is my favorite Sushi spot that I have found in North Austin area. I really like the service here as the wait staff is attentive and very friendly. We enjoy speaking with the chefs every time we come in. Hint HINT, you can buy the chefs a drink (beer) to which they really enjoy on a hot day as it doesn't seem like there is air conditioning in the restaurant but you can always sit outdoors as well. You must order the salmon skin hand roll! Hands down my favorite item to order on the menu. The salmon skin is seasoned so nicely and it isn't soggy with sauce but has a nice crisp as it should! There's a lot on the menu that I like and still trying but most rolls I have tried are all delicious and not just covered in sauce. If you are in the area, please give this spot a try! 5 stars

Rachelle J.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place on a Friday evening around 8:30pm. I walked in and waited in front of the sign that read "please wait for be seated". I grabbed a menu and waited for about 10 minutes as several servers and staff walked by me not even greeting me let alone asking how they could attend to me. I patiently looked over the menu and waited regardless until two Asian men walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. The same woman that sat them and passed in front of me to grab menus for them returned to the hostess stand with her back to me and didn't even turn around to ask how she could help me. At that point, I straight up left the restaurant as the utter rudeness of this staff made it so unappetizing to support this establishment. Sorry to have had this experience as I live nearby and would have probably been a continuing customer.

Judy P.

Yelp
What a gem hidden in plain site! I pass by this little neighborhood often but never realized the amount of food options there. The parking was easy to find and very plentiful in the back of the restaurant. I'm surprised that it wasn't too crowded because a great place like this should be! They offer a range of food from sushi, yakitori, and hot pot. We got the 2 sashimis, Hama chili and Ponzu Bass. They were fresh and pretty good but I'm from Hawaii and it didn't quite taste as fresh as it could be . However don't get me started on the Yakitori mad takoyaki! Those were absolutely delicious and I will be coming back to try out their other fried options such as the Tonkatsu. The service was also super super nice! 10/10 am coming back.

Hope D.

Yelp
Miyo Yakitori & Sushi is located at The Artisan apartments and is my favorite place to dine in my neighborhood. The sushi is fresh & the Karbach beer is ice cold. Sarah & Ellie are my favorite servers. Miyo has a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and everyone who works there is welcoming. Miyo has a cool outdoor deck to enjoy dining during the awesome Austin weather. We are blessed. -Hope Dudley

Yelp
Came here for a double date with one of my girl friends from Vegas, as she had moved to Austin. I was wanting some good sushi and this place is definitely it. It hit the spot for sure! Came in and before being seated, you had to order from the menu up front first. I ordered a lot of small plates, but if you plan on getting an entree or a bento box, expect the portions to be pretty big. I ordered the veggie croquettes, sake (salmon) tower, salmon belly sashimi, and the spicy salmon temaki (handroll). The sake tower was probably the best thing that I ordered. It had spicy salmon, avocado, kani, rice, and seaweed wrappers to place it all in. It was so delicious and everything I enjoy in a normal sushi roll. I could not get enough of it. The salmon belly was perfectly fatty and something I always look forward to having at any sushi place (if they have it of course) and the spicy salmon temaki was good as well! The only thing was it was kind of messy and falling apart, but flavor wise - delicious. The veggies croquettes are always a favorite of mine especially since visiting Japan, I thrive off of croquettes. Overall, the service was authentic, the food was authentic, and I truly enjoyed every bite of the food! This is a great place for sushi and authentic Japanese dishes!

Stephen S.

Yelp
Went for dinner this evening and ordered the curry chicken katsu. I've ordered this in the past and was looking forward to it. Once the meal a set on the table, I could tell there was something different; the curry was vey watery and d the chicken was well over cooked. After waiting a few moments for the curry sauce to settle, I started eating. The curry sauce never settled and the chicken was indeed hard, dry and just wasn't very good. The curry sauce was very sour which I thought was weird. The sauce never got thick. Just very unappetizing.

Suzette L.

Yelp
This place is THE BEST Japanese restaurant hands down! Don't be fooled by its humble atmosphere and somewhat hidden location right off Parmer Ave. The food is always consistently superb. A favorite is the BENTO BOX served exclusively at lunchtime. Every element is amazing from the tempura veggies/shrimp, rice, salad, chicken (beef or salmon) and the star of the box - a sushi roll! Do yourself a favor and check out Miyo Yakitori & Sushi. You'll be sure to return and try other amazing offerings! Be sure to alert the OWNER regarding a wait staff problem. It should be fixed if it's ongoing and causes an experience worth noting! Sometimes wait staff has little to zero familiarity with the menu. That can be problematic. Otherwise: Oishii (delicious).

Christina H.

Yelp
Easily one of the best in quality and authenticity in terms of Japanese restaurants in town (or outside Austin proper). They aren't allowing indoor dining at the moment, only outdoor. Be warned, they are next to W Palmer Lane so depending on what time you're coming in, the traffic can get loud. I've been searching for the best Tonkatsu Curry in Austin, and I'VE FOUND IT. If you have never had it, YOU NEED TO. This warms the soul. Tonkatsu is deep-fried tenderized pork coated in panko, add their house curry and you have perfection. I highly recommend any of the combos they offer, as you get a variety of the chef's choice (think partial omakase) along with miso soup and your choice in rolls.

Laurie W.

Yelp
YUM. My husband and I tried a whole bunch of things here, each of them delicious. It's been a long time since I've had tuna this good. I asked our waiter whether I should get ramen or hot pot and he, which refreshing honesty, told me that the hot pot was better and I'd prefer the ramen from a specialty shop. I don't think he steered me wrong-- I loved every he served me.

Noel H.

Yelp
I really like the cute spot to have a poke bowl. It is a very cute inside and the outside on a nice day is fun if you like to sit and watch cars go by. The food is always fresh and so good. Have been back a few times. The only down side is if you have special requests or modifications it is a hit or miss on if they will or won't do them.

Darian D.

Yelp
The food was amazing. I was very impressed with the sushi. The service was a tad slow but the quality of the food outshined it. Will definitely go again.

Yelp
One of Austin's best-hidden gems! Miyo somehow manages to get better every time I go back. I can always trust anything that I order from there. From the Yaktori to the Sashimi- anything I've ordered from here has been delightful to my taste buds. You can expect to have an amazing quality of food that's worth every penny. I've had both curry dishes and highly recommend ordering within the first few times you visit.

Yelp
I almost didn't go in because the location is in an apartment complex and I feared it would be where the residents went when they were too tired to go to a real place. Boy was I happy to be wrong. This place is fantastic! I had the Chashu Ramen. Pork belly. So. Much. Flavor! I typically eat half and save the rest for lunch. Well, I ate every bit and in physical pain because it was too much, and I don't regret a single bite. So Good! The premium house sake at $14 for a large is a great deal for smooth, nice sake that was way better than most places. Ignore the location, go for the food and friendly service, you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
We stopped in on a Sunday, late afternoon, and had dinner on the patio. We had chicken, beef, and bacon jalapeño yakitori, ebi sushi, and some Yellowtail rolls. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Patio was perfect for enjoying the weather. Service was fast. The stars for me were the Lion Yellowtail roll with the spicy mayo and the bacon jalapeño yakitori; the bacon was meat candy. Loved it. We'll be back.

Yelp
Solid sushi place with great combo deals. Currently they are only doing patio seating, but you can also order Togo and pick up. My group sat outside, we ordered inside then they served us on the patio. We paid afterwards by going back inside. On a cold day they had heat lamps outside that kept us nice and warm on the patio. Highly recommend coming here, the combos are great deals, the fish quality is solid, and service was good, plus free drink (non-alcoholic) when you check in on Yelp (includes ramune). Recommendations: Tokyo combo, Las Vegas roll, salmon belly

Yelp
This restaurant had the most respectful and timely service to go along with some of the best sushi I've had in the Austin area. GET THE GARLIC EDAMAME while you wait for your food. My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back and become regulars. Here are some pics. I only have an aftermath pic because it was too good What we got: -Garlic Edamame - Jessica Albacore roll - Spicy yellow tail

Yelp
Been here a few times since moving and have loved the food each time. I love coming here and will keep going back as long as the food stays consistent. Servers attentiveness has varied each time I've gone there but nothing awful. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Yelp
Came here for lunch and got bento boxes. Everything was delicious! Bento comes with soup, salad, tempura, California roll, gyozas and your choice of a main protein. Portion was generous. Such a great deal for lunch since bentos were mostly under $15. Also love the patio seating.

Yelp
I think I found a sushi spot away from home but not too far of a drive. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff and seated. It was after 4pm when we got here. Lots of people were picking up orders to go. I love the variety of items they have on the menu. They have plum wine too! I decided to get maguro, tako and caterpillar roll. It came out on a black board with a nice presentation. Everything tasted really good. The portions were a nice size.
