The 25 Best Restaurants In Paris 2024 - Paris - The Infatuation

"If you’re wondering why L’As du Fallafel isn’t on this list, it’s because we think Miznon is better. Plus, there’s rarely a long line, and at Miznon, you get to sit and eat your stuffed pita at a table with chairs with some really fun, loud music playing overhead. The three locations of this all-day Israeli-run spot produce some of the best Levantine flavors in Paris on the warmest and fluffiest pita around. We’re partial to the chou farci, but the spicy fish, lamb kebab, and beef bourguignon are also worth the mess you’ll make while eating them. They recently added a falafel sandwich to the menu at the Marais location, but purists should know it’s in patty form. Also, plan accordingly: They’re closed from mid-afternoon on Friday through sundown on Saturday in observance of Shabbat." - Sara Lieberman

27 Best Restaurants in Paris, According to Locals | Condé Nast Traveler

"The idea here is Israeli food with a French twist. Generally, everything comes in or with the softest, most plump pita you’ll taste outside Israel. There’s a ton of vegetarian options, too, whether it’s their famous whole-roasted cauliflower, simple baked sweet potato, or ratatouille. Whether you stuff it inside one of those piping hot pitas or go carb-free, the choice is yours—and you can never go wrong." - Sara Lieberman, Lindsey Tramuta

Came here for lunch with a group of friends. The place has a lively, casual vibe and is clearly popular—so popular, in fact, that getting a table can be a bit of a challenge. They don’t take reservations, which adds to the wait-time stress, and unfortunately, some guests don’t hesitate to skip the line and claim tables as soon as one opens up. Definitely a bit chaotic at peak hours, so patience (and maybe a little assertiveness) is key. Once seated, the service was efficient—orders were taken quickly and the food started arriving dish by dish, which worked fine for our group. The standout for me was the vegetarian selection: the roasted cauliflower, artichokes, and green beans were all incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned—simple ingredients but done right. The lamb kebab was also a hit, served tucked inside warm bread with a nice balance of spice and tenderness. I also tried one of their Israeli beers, which surprisingly reminded me of Anker, a beer from Indonesia—light, crisp, and nostalgic in a way I didn’t expect. Overall, a fun spot for casual dining with bold flavors. I'd definitely come back, especially for the veggie dishes.

Google
Casual, reliable spot for Israeli food on the go. Everything is fresh, simple, well prepared — from the pitas to the roasted cauliflower. It can get busy during peak hours, but come at the right time and it’s easy to walk in. I like it quite a bit, always a good option in the Marais.

Google
My favorite restaurant in Paris, the food is delicious with great atmosphere and service. Had to make sure to go earlier after the first time there was a line that extends outside. Definitely looking forward to going here again on my next visit to Paris.

Google
Got the lamb in a pita and also tried the beef bourguignon — the lamb was fantastic and tender, but the beef bourguignon was out of this world. It melts in your mouth and is absolutely unforgettable. The homemade lemonade is also excellent — refreshing and not too sweet, just the way it should be. They have an English menu, which is really thoughtful and helpful for visitors. Everyone here is incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend — strongly!

Google
Honestly it was my first time there Many friends told me that it has nice food etc Very very disappointing experience Why the prices are so high for such food? I’ve ordered a steak and egg pita it has weirdly no taste, 3 portions of thin meat with some cucumbers onions and tomatoes and got 0 TASTE! and all of this for 13 euros honestly i left the restaurant after this bad experience and ordered a pastrami sandwich in the next street that was way way way better for 12 euro that is very correct not to mention that one of the waiters was pretty aggressive with both of us my friend and I. And she kinda shouted our names to get our food but it was her job normally I don’t recommend it honestly Hope it will get better some day !

Google
We really enjoyed the unique tweaks to traditional Israeli street food. We both loved our pita (one cauliflower and one ratatouille). Only noticed that you could order a whole head of cauliflower with sauces after we wait...so good reason to come back next time we're in Paris!!!

Google
Was awesome! It’s easy messing it up when you put something in a pita but not here….the balance was awesome, tastes great and well done. We ordered the Kebab, boeuf bourguignon and staffed cabbage with lamb. boeuf bourguignon was delicious, soft, breaking easily, moist and perfectly seasoned, a very generous portion as well. Staffed cabbage that would make any grandma proud with soft tasty leaves and great spices. Same for the kebab, a bit pinky inside as it should be, soft and strong in taste, a bit of mint leaves in the sauce, fresh herbs and fresh veggies. In addition, fast, friendly and kind service Anyway, highly recommended. This place takes it self seriously

Google
Out of four meals that we had ordered only one (Golden Ratatouille) was good - the rest were either not fresh or did not match the description and not tasty. The service was very basic - close to self-served with disposable plates. The back of the restaurant where we sat down to eat had a view to a dirty and abandoned court yard.

Yelp
LOVED Miznon! It's a cute little spot right in the heart of the Marais. And the food was absolutely amazing! The cauliflower, broccoli, and eggplant were divine! I want to visit Paris again, just to come back here!

Yelp
Another great pita spot around the corner from the famous falafel shop. We tried the lamb pita and the roasted cauliflower. Both were very fresh, the roasted cauliflower tasted great but needed some salt or sauce to give it more flavor. The lamb pita was so fresh and cooked perfectly but didn't have any flavor depth , it tasted quite plain. I added tahini and tomato sauce to it but still need some spices , I am hoping to try the beef pita next which is more spicy and might be more flavorful. Their tahini sauce was great too. Service was quick and everyone was helpful. Seats are pretty limited and the spot is tight but they have more seating in the back too.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
Candidly we were going to try that falafel place around the corner but it had a big line. So we popped over here. Really glad we did. We ordered quickly and they had terrific food. We tried the rotisserie chicken pita and the ratatouille one. Both were packed full of fresh ingredients. I loved the veggie one. But shoutout to the pita because it didn't collapse or get soggy from all the veggies and sauce. It held its own and was delish. Inside has some tables in back that were good but really this is a quick lunch space and a great one at that. Delish.

Yelp
Late weekday evening. Delicious. I had the fish & chips and my friend had a felafel burger. Both were excellent. Flavorful. Great texture. Extremely fresh ingredients. Friendly service. I felt sad to have to go back to the D.C. area and eat what's available there. No comparison.

Yelp
Oh can you taste the freshness. Probably my favorite pita sandwich place on earth. The spicy lamb pita is incredible. Generous with six or so medium rare meat balls perfectly complimented with garlic, tahini, dill parsley and an unknown hot sauce. If I could eat something everyday for the rest of my life this would be it. Not sure if this is unique to the Paris location but the quality of the pita is incredible. We also ordered the spicy fish plate which was great and the artichoke started which came with a mound of salt and interesting liquified tahin sauce. Also, they serve the water that comes off tomatoes as a complimentary side. Excited to try what more the menu has, the Vegas location is almost 2x the price so you're getting deep value here. Wish I tried the dessert. The ambiance is cafe like with interesting touches of fresh produce littered throughout. Service was quick and attentive.

Yelp
Unreal. Went here on a food tour. The beef bourguignon pita was absolutely incredible.

Yelp
Had cruised by the Miznon in New York Chelsea Market so many times and wanted to try. Glad I got to check out the Marais location while in Paris. Delicious. Had a beef bourguignon pita which was heavenly. Huge portion and I added some of the rich tahini and herby green hot sauce. It's tight in the little space but it works. Cool people, nice service.

Yelp
This place as a highlight for us in Paris. Loved it. Let's be real - you've been eating French food for days now. You're fatigued by the weight of the food and you're a bit constipated and in search of some fiber. Welcome to Miznon! We came relatively early so we didn't really wait in line. Once we stepped in, I knew this was my place - music was great - American hip hop. Everyone there spoke English and not in a I'm French and speak English type of way, but like a they're speaking English while cooking and talking to each other. There's a back portion of the restaurant as well for additional seating (kind of hidden). Otherwise, the food was GREAT. The beef bourguignon was one of the best we've had in the trip and the steak and egg pita hit a lot of california fresh flavoring for me. Both were absolutely delicious. We scarfed down our food so fast and were happily full after. They also have some additional sauces you can get to put on your pita. We sat at the barish area while watching them cook so most items were self serve for us.

Yelp
We came here as part of a food tour, and we were excited to try something other than typical French food. Ambiance was a fast casual food joint. Staff was friendly. The beef bourguignon pita was delicious. Meat was very tender, great flavor. A bit salty but still yummy.

Randy D.

Yelp
I have to be honest. I wanted very much to like this simple fast food kosher restaurant, but it didn't deliver. I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. I took one bite and thought, damn that's salty, and I have a high tolerance for salt. I asked my friends to taste it and they too agreed it was beyond salty. Maybe it was an off night. They recommended I eat it with lots of bread or potatoes. That didn't help. It was inedible, so I didn't eat it, but I wanted to give feedback. Afterall, I am a food writer and was trained as a classical french chef based in Paris, and I don't want anyone to fail and feedback is always good, so you can provide the best service and product.., n'est-ce pas? I told one of the "staff" members that it was inedible. He responded, yeah he tasted it that morning and admittedly said it was salty, then why the f*ck did you serve it, or better yet, why wasn't it fixed. Whether they do anything, is up to them. I did taste my husband's fish, and it was fair. And, the chicken was good. For those reasons if I only had the boeuf bourguignon I would've rated in terrible. Net-net, if you're tasting food and it is NOT to your standards, then don't serve it. Would I go back, I'm honestly not sure. Amicalement, Food critic/travel writer....

Yelp
Look. I'll keep it real. I'm admittedly pretty easy to please when it comes to good food and attractive people. I'm a chubby young American, and this being my first time in Paris, I was enjoying plenty of delicious things all over. But this place is next level. Get the boeuf bourguignon pita. Get multiple. My friend and I ordered one each and then immediately split a third despite being dangerously full because it was THAT delicious. To quote my friend upon his first bite: "this is so good it almost makes a complete moral 180 and counts as a crime against humanity." We sat at that counter having a damn near religious experience. Service and ambiance and anything else didn't blow me out of the water the way this food did. They weren't bad by any means, just not as memorable as the euphoric experience of biting into the lushest pita I've ever had and a hot, savory stew that earned Paris its historical top spot among the culinary elite of world cuisine. What a fusion. The flirtatious host certainly helped too. My mouth is watering now just thinking about either.

Jason L.

Yelp
grilled sliced angus beef was tough and lacks flavor. the sauce got stuck at the bottom inside the pita. service is familiarly friendly. space is cozy.

J R.

Yelp
This place had great reviews and we were excited to check it out. It was average in every way. No spice, little flavor. It was so average I'm in the falafel line across the street for a second dinner.
google avatar

Melissa Z.

Yelp
Yay love this place! Not as long as a line as the falafel place across the street and the staff was very nice to foreigners. Highly recommend the beef bourginon, super tender and rich and flavorful!!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent street food stop off rue de Rosiers. Lamb kabob pita was delicious. Excellent choice for Middle Eastern take away

Michael S.

Yelp
Excellent Israeli food and good service. Friendly staff. Love the roasted head of Cauliflower. Look forward to going back.

Mary Ann B.

Yelp
We popped into this restaurant for a quick bite after our bike tour. It was a highlight amid lots of other great food on our trip. The lamb meatballs were tossed with lots of parsley (and they held the onions upon request) and was moist and tasty. Then I had to get the falafel and it was also so amazing. My husband got the minute steak pita. All was so great. Get the roasted sweet potato! A sudden thunderstorm popped up and they closed the doors, then it got even more festive! Quick and amazing service. Would definitely go back!
google avatar

Evan D.

Yelp
A bit hectic inside but everything was delicious. Loved the whole cauliflower head, the artichoke with aioli and the beef Bourguignon pita. Tons of food for the price too. Definitely ask for extra napkins as it's very messing (but worth the mess).
google avatar

Rita T.

Yelp
Love the quality and flavors. Definitely a hidden gem. Will be returning soon :) Do ny miss the cauliflower.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Second time I've tried to stop by this location. Super packed. I had the lamb kebab pita sandwich. A more subtle flavor than it's other Middle Eastern cousins. Tons of vegetarian options as well. They make great use of vegetables. Intrigued by its spicy fish plate. Will try that on the next visit.

Yelp
The line at L'as du Falafel was crazy, and I had been there before, so I wanted to try something new, and Miznon seemed like the place to be (just across the way from L'as du Falafel.) There was a line here also, but it died down by 1:45pm. Food comes out very quickly after you order. - L'originale tete de choux fleurs: yes, a whole head of roasted cauliflower, which many people seemed to get based on Yelp. It had a nice char and was fork tender, but seasoning was a little uneven - Kebab d'agneau: lamb kebab - nice ground lamb, not too gamey. Great pita, lots of fresh herbs They have Israeli beers to go with your pita (first time trying it - not amazing). Music was great - DMX, 50 cent, Biggie, etc They have a few seats inside (counter seating, some high top communal seating, tables in the back, and one small table for 2 facing the line outside), but most people take it to go. A few other notes: - You can order ahead. - They do have a bathroom. - Hand sanitizer is also readily available. - Credit cards accepted.

Steven M.

Yelp
Miznon elevates the pita sandwich to a new level. The food quality is outstanding and the array of choices is mind boggling. Imagine a beef bourguignon pita sandwich! It was unbelievable, although way too much food for a light lunch! And staff was overly friendly and gracious. Love this place. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Mindy T.

Yelp
The best cauliflower I've ever tasted!!! The char on the cauliflower just gives it so much more flavor. I never thought my favorite item at a restaurant would be cauliflower. Okay, I'll stop with the cauliflower. Miznon is smack dab in Le Marais which is filled with delicious food and shopping stores. The line was out the door, but I knew that I had to try this place, so I waited. It didn't take too long but be warned, you'll need to keep an eye out for tables. There's an English and a French menu for those who are wondering. I tried their whole cauliflower, lamb kebab pita, and their beef bourguignon pita. Everything was delicious and super filling. The only thing I did not enjoy was smelling like barbeque smoke afterward. Definitely, a must try for visitors.
google avatar

Albert A.

Yelp
google avatar

Matteo R.

Yelp
Miznon has quickly become my favorite eating spot in Paris. After trying their Boeuf Bourguignon Pita for the first time a couple of years ago, I was hooked. Super-flavorful, juicy and tender meat, stuffed in a fluffy pita, this thing is addictively delicious! If I had to chose one single dish I had to eat the rest of my life, this would be a serious contender for the top spot. And Miznon has a lot to offer when it comes to delicious food, simply cooked: from the haricots verts/string beans with garlic and lemon served in a paper bag[1] to the lamb kebab plate; from the roasted whole cauliflower heads to a dish of beans, eggs, onions and fresh tomato sauce, all the dishes are as simple as they are delicious. And I also love the great atmosphere here: very convivial and easy going, everybody here seems super-happy all the times. The music[2] is pretty loud, and quite often the people who work here are singing along. You can't help but feel euphorically happy when you eat at Miznon! Added bonus: unlike many places in Paris, service is super-fast, and even if there is always a line, it moves very quickly. Also, if customers have finished their food and are just sitting there, the staff would gently but firmly let them know that there are people waiting[3]. Can't wait to go back to Paris to stuff myself with the boeuf bourguignon pita and all the other delicious things Miznon has to offer! --------------------- [1] Quite possibly the most delicious thing I've ever had out of a paper bag. [2] Usually a mix of contemporary French music with a Middle Eastern flavor, classic rock, French pop, etc... [3] There is a second room at the back.

Jackie G.

Yelp
Not to be misssed! The beef bourguignon pita is unbelievable! One of the best things I've eaten during my stay.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
I strongly advise any tourist, especially black tourists, against patronizing this establishment. I received such rude behavior from the staff just because I decided to dine at the eatery as opposed to my initial request to take my food to go. The busboy harassed me about sitting there to eat after I had asked him for a to go back, as if it was the biggest inconvenience of his life. When I asked him why he was so rude, he made it about giving me a bag, a futile rebuttal. The only reason I changed my mind is because I realized there was more seating in the back of the location, something that's not clearly signed in the interior. While I know French servers are known for being less welcoming than American ones, I'm surprised that a restaurant chain that has locations in New York would have workers act so crass and flippant towards clients. Can definitely say I will never return.
google avatar

Brice L.

Yelp
Everything on the menu seems to be fully mastered, the flavors are amazing at a very affordable price. Highly recommend the herb and lamb kebab, it's to die for (their beef bourguignon isn't too bad either)
google avatar

Will W.

Yelp
I came here with a friend who lives in Paris, who highly recommended this French-Middle Eastern fusion place. Although situated next to many popular falafel places that may draw bigger crowds, Miznon is a cute treasure that I was lucky to be introduced to. The line may be long at times, but it is definitely worth the wait! Inside the restaurant, the open cooking area makes it an extremely family-friendly vibe, with seating available at the bar and in a back room with cute tables. My friend and I ordered the boeuf bourguignon, which she highly recommended, and then were able to easily find seating in the back room. When the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect the portion of the boeuf bourguignon in pita bread to be so large, and was extremely happy with the taste. The food was extremely well prepared and well seasoned, and even though I was full at the end, I still wanted more. A side note, there was a large party of 8 next to us that seemed to order a large variety of foods. It seems like you can order your own full vegetables and meat mixes, and then make your own pita sandwiches as well. Miznon is a definite must if you want to find a good twist on traditional French food and to avoid the many tourist traps of Paris!
google avatar

Claudia C.

Yelp
Literally the most bland thing I've ever eaten in my life. The chicken roti pita had ZERO flavor nor seasoning. I asked a 'waiter' for some hot sauce and it never came, plus there were no condiments anywhere. Same with the grilled cauliflower. Bland, bland, bland, in desperate need of seasoning. Hubby has the beef bourguignon pita recommended by the waitress, he was not impressed. They had just made some limonade but they poured us like a 1/4 cup each, almost nothing. The place was dirty and had loud music. Outside the vitrine in the back was trash, dirt and mouse traps - disgusting!! No service to speak of either. For all this we paid 35 euros for lunch. What a waste!!
google avatar

Yelp
What an amazing surprise!! Our favorite restaurant from Israel is now in Paris?! What?! So of course we had to check the place out! The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. I ordered the Ratatouille pita because we were in Paris, afterall, and of course we ordered the roasted cauliflower! Everything was amazing! I'm not a huge fan of Ratatouille but this pita was absolutely delicious! And the cauliflower was roasted and salted to perfection! My husband ordered the lamb pita, which we have had before, and it is just as delicious here as it is at the location in Israel. So you can't go wrong with this restaurant! Enjoy!!
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
By far our favorite restaurant for everyday (and night!) in the Marais. Fabulous roast vegetables--charred at the edges and custard-like within, gently oiled and salted. The flatbread is equally sublime, pillowy and lightly charred. Delicious ratatouille--plus warm, casual vibe, kind servers, international (multilingual) soundtrack.
google avatar

Stephen K.

Yelp
Miznon, just around the corner from L'Art du Felafel, is well worth a visit. Delicious recipes freshly prepared in front of you. Stand in line to order and then find open seating. There is more room around back. The atmosphere is fun, the service is friendly, and some of the vegetables are glorious. I missed the charred cauliflower but I can vouch for the haricot vert. Lemony and garlicky-they are beautiful. I didn't order quite right--they were out of the famous beef bourguignon and I got a stuffed cabbage pita which didn't do it for me. The cabbage was tough, the juice dripped out of it on my pants...uggh it was unfortunate. Some of the other pita sandwiches looked much better- heck the one minute steak and its toppings looked colorful and wonderful. Don't ignore the free dips and accoutrements which are on the right of the counter. Especially don't ignore those haricots verts!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Mindblowing Israeli street food. This is a gem in Le Marais, around the corner from L'as du Falafel. Order at the counter, but there is more seating further into the restaurant. The roasted cauliflower is amazing - pair it with the green sauce and a teeny bit of flaked salt (it's very punchy) and the combination of garlicy, savory, spicey goodness with the tenderness and slight smokiness of charred cauliflower is something I legitimately crave. You can't go wrong with the stuffed pitas - try and get the beef bourguignon (not available in the New York location of Miznon), but the cauliflower pita is great for vegetarians. The pita bread is perfection: fluffy and light.

Yelp
Super! The service was fast and awesome. We had the chicken, lamb and roasted cauli. Great for a fast and easy meal in a great part of town.

Yelp
Accros from l'as du falafel: cauliflower dish and boeuf bourguignon pita are a must try
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
We were in the le Marais area shopping when the need for food hit us suddenly and without warning. It was only 5pm and we had dinner reservations at 9 so we didn't want to spoil our appetite. We turned to yelp and were delighted to find this extremely affordable, healthy, wholesome and tasty option nearby. We ordered from the counter, and took our seats. We ended up with a roasted whole head of cauliflower first. After a week of bread, cheese and butter this was a god send. Our bodies could only vaguely remember what vegetables tasted like. Of note- there was a bar to the corner of the restaurant that had sauces you could add to the cauliflower. One was a tomato purée, another a garlic tahini, and the last was a spicy green olive oil concoction. They had beer and soft drinks by the bottle as well which we drank happily to replenish our energy. We ended with falafels which were served inside a piece of freshly baked pita. Best falafel we have had.

Yelp
Barely a month later, and I'm back! Pro tip: show up in front of the restaurant before it opens at noon; I guarantee you that the place will be packed as soon as the doors open. Good thing I staked my place outside at 11:50! Order the lamb kebab again (fresh and delicious, as always) and added a roasted cauliflower head as a side dish. If anything, the cauliflower ended up being a meal in itself; it was that massive! Although it had nothing but a bit of salt and oil on it, the cauliflower was one of the best that I'd ever eaten: slightly charred but tender, I was able to cut through it like butter. The mini snack bar was good as usual: soft, fluffy pita with homemade sauces (still don't know what they're made of, but tasty anyway) and this time with roasted jalapeño peppers (which nearly scorched my tongue, but it was all part of the experience!). ...photos or it didn't happen.

Yelp
Delicious! My boyfriend recommended I check this spot out while I was in Paris and I was not disappointed. Although there is one in New York, I was told that there is nothing like the original. We ordered the whole cauliflower and a steak pita. Although it was very crowded when we walked in, the line moved quite quickly and the staff was very quick about getting our food to us. We didn't sit down at the restaurant as there was no space, but we did get our food to go with no problem. In addition, while we waited, there was fresh pita and an array of sauces for us to munch on. I highly recommend the whole cauliflower as it was DELICIOUS. It was very simply cooked, but perfectly so. It was very tender and charred beautifully. The pita was also good, but I do wish that the steak was seasoned a bit more. Overall, highly recommend!
google avatar

Mary Tish P.

Yelp
Best pita bread I've ever had! It is so fresh and warm. I ordered the spicy fish pita and split a cauliflower head with a friend. The spicy fish pita (€12) wasn't spicy (& I have a moderately to low spice tolerance). It was white fish in a tomato based sauce, with tahini. So good. The pita was stuffed full with fish, so it was worth the money and filling. The charred cauliflower (€6.50) was so soft. They bring you 3 dipping sauces to accompany it: tahini, tomato sauce, & a green sauce. Having a pita and under half a cauliflower was a huge meal! Left me stuffed. When I go back, I'll just get a pita. The straying in the front of the restaurant is smokey because it's next in the open kitchen, but the seating in the back of the kitchen has fresher air.

Pouya Y.

Yelp
David is the heart and soul of this restaurant. I haven't met the chef personally but he's also a constant fixture. The food here is superb. I've had everything on the menu and you can't go wrong. Almost everything is served in a pita except the ratatouille or some specials. My favorites include the beef Bourguignon, kifta kébab, roastbeef, and smashed potato. The roasted veggie sides are for those that have a big appetite.

Yelp
Wow! In my 60+ Yelp reviews there have been a handful of restaurants that I wish I could award a 6-star rating... This is one of them! We stumbled on this gem after a long day of exploring Paris on foot, and the vibe, service, food, and experience really couldn't have been much better. Highly recommend the beef bourguignon pita... My entire family agreed it was one of the best things we had. ever eaten... The falafel pita was also great, and we devoured the broccoli side that was literally an entire head of broccoli steamed to perfection and accompanied by a sauce that was pure wonder... The entire Jewish quarter/neighborhood in Paris is a must do and a hidden gem, and this restaurant simply should not be missed. Wonderful!

Yelp
I was drawn to this restaurant because of their unusually large selection of vegetables! I wanted to try all of them, but they had items missing both times I went (probably because it was super busy around New Years). Everyone raves about the cauliflower but I didn't get to try it fresh. They ran out both times I visited, but on the second visit I tried someone else's cauliflower, but by then it was already cold, so not great. However, we did try making it at home using Miznon copycat recipes and it turned out amazing! My favorite was the haricots verts (green beans). These come lightly seasoned with lemon, olive oil and flaky salt. Simple but tasted incredible! Tried the artichoke and didn't really like it - while it was beautifully presented, I wasn't sure how to eat it and they had run out of sauces by the time I got my order. The ratatouille has an interesting flavor - it tastes kind of Asian-inspired, like they added soy sauce or something to make it extra rich. It was unique but I think I prefer other ratatouilles with a stronger tomato base. Despite some hiccups, I think this restaurant has a great concept and well thought out menu, and is absolutely worth a try if you're in Paris. I didn't try the pitas, but people around me who did seemed to be enjoying them. Come during non-meal peak hours (tea time?) for the best experience - I came at night both times and it does tend to get chaotic, especially since waiters yell out your name and the space is pretty crammed.

Yelp
Great place! Sit inside or outside. Nice atmosphere. Excellent door. Perfect for a date or a solo quick meal. Will be back.

Yelp
Wow, could my favorite Parisian restaurant be non-French cuisine? Apparently, so. I am so glad we came here for a night. After each traditional French cuisine consecutively, I was craving a different type of food, and Miznon hit the spot. I've never had Israeli food, so it's new to me. I loved ALL that we tried. The fried cauliflower is a MUST - totally shareable. I was adamant about trying the ratatouille, and it was flavorful and delicious. And the spicy fish pita was filling. I crave this place even now. It was so amazing, from beginning to end, and so affordable. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
When you're looking for vegetables and fiber on your trip in Paris, this is the place to go! Miznon definitely has some influence from outside of Paris since it is counter service - a la fast casual style. We found this refreshing to not be beholden to waitstaff on our trip since most of our meals had hit-or-miss service. Also, the staff switches in talking to each other in English and French. I even overheard someone yelling out a temperature - 400 - so they also were talking in Fahrenheit which was interesting. The food was so delicious and refreshing! We ordered a blistered head of cauliflower as well as a chicken pita. The pita sandwich was, I think, pulled chicken, with lots of herbs like mint in the most tender and soft pita. The pita was very hearty and included a lot of meat. The cauliflower was so amazing - oil, salt, veg. That's it. But it was broiled to blackened, but it tasted so good. I'd go back over and over. Though this may not be the most authentically French, it might be one of my favorite restaurants - even beating out most restaurants in my hometown of Chicago.

Yelp
This hipster Israeli place really knows their stuff. Not one dish I've had there has been anything less than perfect. Hidden down an alley from the Marais big hitters you would be tempted by all the other delights the neighborhood has to offer but don't be fooled by the bright colors and long lines. This is the real place to be. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd dream about cauliflower but they made it in food and wine magazine and I get them for dinner all the time. I eat meat but this is something special. I also really like the spicy fish. Make the effort for superior food!

Yelp
Had the steak & egg sandwich here! Pretty good but the meat was hard to bite. Kind of wish they cut it into smaller bite-sized pieces. But service is quick and friendly. It gets super busy really quickly so I definitely recommend going early! But it doesn't matter too much since it's a mostly to-go sort of place.
