If I could give them a 10, I would... THIS restaurant was the true epitome of SOUL FOOD. It was healing for my soul. From the hospitality to the deliciousness of their food... my belly was so satisfied. I felt like I was back visiting my grandmother and it felt like home. I am so grateful for this experience. The cornbread is great! We could not get enough. My dining partner had the fried shrimp and onion rings and she loved it. The breading was just right, not so thick that it smothered the shrimp nor the onion rings. My bbq chicken and mac + cheese was ok, I would rate 5. The service was very good and everyone friendly.

Walked in to this place and it isn’t the fanciest... however do not judge very home like feeling with great food, GREAT. Fries, chicken, shrimp, onion rings my tastebuds are in wow. Oh and cornbread was warm and had to get more before leaving.

The best food and best sweet tea! Just like grandma use to make. With tablecloths on the tables and linen napkins for your dining pleasure. A great place for vegetarians as there a plentiful amount vegetables to choose from. And their cheeseburger will make a grown man hum while he eats. And oh, the French fries....a potato freshly cut before it is dropped in oil, perfectly fried! So delicious.

Would be five stars but the rice and beans I had, had the texture of being 3 days old, the rice was dry it was crunchy. However the pork chops were on point. The poor server was dealing with a typical “Karen”. Who wanted 2 lemons not 3 lemons with her water. I applaud her professionalism in handling the matter I wanted to smack the lady. ^_^.

Some of the nicest people me and my family have meet while on vacation! Thank you so much for being so nice to my kids and wife!! We will definitely be back next year! The food was delicious it reminded me of my granny's cooking!!!

The food is fresh and full of flavor ; some places you go the food is tasteless and very dry you end up sending it back. (NOT MJ's Soul Food OooohNooo) A must try for sure !!!! We loved our order Shrimp Po Bo w/ Fresh sliced Onion Rings Bacon Cheese Burger w/ Fresh Sliced Fries *********A must try*********
