"M.L. Leddy's is a fourth-generation family business that sells luxurious western wear. But really, it's all about the boots—custom boots. If you can dream it, they can make it (in three to four months, at the San Angelo location). Boots off the rack will probably satisfy tourists, but if you're here for the real deal, it's all about a custom pair that can be made of anything from giraffe to stingray." - Tommie Ethington, Diana Oates

We were really happy with our experience buying our first ever cowboy hats. Tony and another gentleman were really knowledgable, generous with their time and advice and made us feel really comfortable with the process. We’re from the UK and knew we wanted to get cowboy hats whilst we were in Texas. M L Leddy’s was our first stop and we were sold straight away. We bought Leddy Cash hats which look great. Tony shaped them with the steamer and clearly really cared about his job and knew his stuff. He was also impeccably dressed and looked really cool. His colleague was also really helpful, offered us drinks multiple times and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend getting your hats here.

MATT WAS AMAZING! HE HAS MADE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. OUR NEW BUCKLE GUY! My son picked up a belt buckle but was have problems finding a belt in his size since he’s a kid. Matt was very helpful…he fit my son and found something just right that would work. We will definitely be back for more buckles and belts.

This is the shop you must visit when you’re at the stockyards. It’s Fort Worth history in an unmatched array of clothing, jewelry, accessories, hats and BOOTS. (Oh lord, those boots.) Leddy’s buyers ensure that the quality of all their inventory is the highest and folks in FW and west have been customers for generations. The staff is charming, friendly and knowledgeable. You won’t regret a visit. I never do.

We stopped into the store because I saw a scarf in the window that caught my eye. They have all you need in quality western wear. The team was knowledgeable in product, styling and worked with me to navigate my taste. Feeling like you’ve worked hard and want to treat yourself to a pair of custom boots? Life is short, Buy the boots! Then, enjoy the Stockyard sights in style. We are all ready for the rodeo with this 100th year ML Leddy anniversary scarf. Truly a piece of art on silk! Find this beauty online. Even better, visit in person! Thank you for an enjoyable shopping experience with exceptional service!

Google
1 star for the decor, beautiful boots and to say we visited. I can't tell you how unfriendly the staff was. A sales woman did say goodbye when we were walking out. So I guess that was nice. I think unless you're serious and go straight to their custom boots, no one wants to give you the time of day. We will definitely be giving our business to someone else. Very unfortunate.

Bought a $300 ostrich wallet MADE BY ML LEDDY here and less than a year in it came apart at the seams. Visiting from OK I left it with them to see if owners would repair or replace it. I bought a second wallet to use in the meantime ($165). They called me and said they refuse to fix it and can offer me a 30% discount on another $300 wallet. I don’t need a third wallet and definitely don’t need any more shoddy products or to spend $650 on wallets that the maker won’t even back. Hope their boots hold up better than their wallets, glad I didn’t fall for that sales pitch.

Google
We went to have my husband’s hat resized. The gentleman behind the hat counter was extremely nice and helpful. He was knowledgeable about the hat we brought in that we found at an estate sale. He got it sized and then shaped it for us as well. The store was neat and clean and the sales people greeted us and made us feel welcomed. They have a great selection of clothing, hats, boots and accessories. They also had a boot cleaning area as well.

Google
Just wow!!! I order a custom made Pearl snap shirt and its incredible! High quality, sized to me. It wasn't cheap, but high quality American made products are not. Ask for Rose, she took great care of me!

Ben V.

Yelp
Amazing. High quality product. The staff is more than accommodating in being helpful, interacting with guests (including small children). The price is on the higher side but you get what you pay for and this store will not disappoint! Shoutout Tyler thanks for helping me with my first pair of boots

Craig L.

Yelp
The entire operation has a bad and unwelcoming feel, which is only made worse by the rude and discourteous staff.

George F.

Yelp
I had never been interested in Western wear despite growing up on a cattle ranch. My dad convinced me to get my first cowboy hat recently though. I asked around and everyone recommended Leddy's in FW. I can't say enough good things about their staff and products. The hat I got was one of the finest made things I've ever worn. These cowboys know what they are doing!

Mike T.

Yelp
I stopped in ML Leddy's in San Angelo curious about the boots. An hour latter I had been fitted with the most comfortable boot of any type I had ever worn. Worth the price. Great people, friendly staff. Oh, the boots were made in the USA by Texans. Even got to see the boot shop.

Gary W.

Yelp
It can't get any better than Leddy's for shopping cowboy and cowgirl flair in Fort Worth. We make special effort to come here. My wife bought some boots and a belt here and the service and quality it top notch. It's a special place that's been part of the Fort Worth Stockyards since I was a small child going to the ISIS theater down the street while my Dad played dominos literally across the street. You won't be disappointed coming here shopping if your looking for high end gear with appropriate pricing. Afterward, just cross the street and enjoy a Lone Star beer and relax. This place is great!

Anne T.

Yelp
The MOST gorgeous boots I've ever owned The last is stunning. My boots are black and, I swear, every time I wear them - compliments!

Tom D.

Yelp
came in 15 minutes before closing. salesman took his time with me and was fantastic. I purchased a pair of kangaroo boots that are the best fitting and incredible quality. I love this place

John C.

Yelp
When you want some "fancy duds" this is the upscale shop. $1500 hats and boot that are higher. They do have some more reasonable priced good and a great selection at that. My wife found a fur shawl that she liked. The staff was a bit pushy I thought but helpful.

Bob G.

Yelp
ML Leddy boots are expensive but they are hand made with top quality materials by craftsmen. I guess I'm the unlucky one, I bought a new pair a few years ago. They look great and fit ok but one of the boots "squeaks" when I walk. The folks in Fort Worth sent them back to the San Angelo plant, they came back weeks later but I don't think they were touched. The squeaking has gotten so bad, I can't wear them anymore. It's embarrassing. I guess at the plant, they couldn't make them squeak. Too bad, they cost $$$$$.

James P.

Yelp
My dad often wore western boots, he always liked Leddy boots, and my mom told him he should get a pair. But he could never convince himself to take the plunge into custom-made boots. After he died last year, I decided to take the plunge for him. I'm glad I did. When you order, they measure your feet every which way, standing and sitting. You choose tooling or stitching, the type of leather, the colors, overlay or inlay, shape of the toe, height, heel. When you order custom boots, they'll make them any way you like. Just ask. I opted for a plain ostrich vamp with heavily tooled cowhide shaft, all black, with a western heel slightly lower than standard. They told me they'd take ten months to finish, and that's how long they took. I was told they only have six guys who do that kind of tooling work, and you have to wait your turn. They finally came about six weeks ago. At first I only wanted to wear them for dressy occasions, then realized after paying that much for boots (I have six pairs of Luccheses, including two in alligator and one each in stingray, ostrich, cowhide and goatskin, and these cost more than all of those combined), I wanted to wear them more often than that. So I've worn them to church, to work, to go shopping. The only time I won't wear them is to go riding. I'm not walking through a muddy pasture in these boots. I think they're beautiful, and they're comfortable even after hours on my feet and I love them. Mom and Dad would have loved them, too. I have some Leddy clothing, which is excellent, but the boots there are the main event. And if money is an object, you can get them pre-made, not custom. You just have to try on a lot of boots, since they aren't made to standard sizes. Do it that way and you can get them 50-90 percent off list price. My sister found a beautiful pair that fit her very well and ended up paying only a few hundred for a $4,000 pair of boots. For that kind of deal it might be worth cutting off a toe for a good fit. They also have a line of handmade boots in standard sizes, not custom, at three-figure prices. I didn't try those, but they were fine looking boots. Great store, nice people, excellent products. Five stars all the way.

Kent M.

Yelp
The boots made here are the nicest, best fitting and most durable I have worn...ever. Gary Tucker learned here and later returned after he had his own boot making deal in Vegas. I have 2 pair now that he made after his return to Leddys San Angelo and love them. One set, I wear only in competition, and the other pair are being saved for my cowboy dress-up. They build their boots with a heavy solid steel shank, maybe a hammered nail. So they do not crow down over narrow stirrups. And they are also much more comfy for walking. Lots of support. If you like beautiful boots that are long time cowboy tested, these get the job done like none others I have had.

Mark S.

Yelp
ML Leddys only stocks boot widths up to D. Most boot retailers, including top end retailers like Rod Patrick and Lucchase in Ft Worth, stock EE widths. Unfortunate, because they have a nice selection of styles.

Chris S.

Yelp
If your looking for boots, this is not the place. Most boots on display don't look new, their boots don't really have a shape, leathers folding in on itself. And it's not hard to find a brand new pair of boots that look like they've been worn, not tried on but worn, scratches all over the bottoms. Makes you wonder if the employees are wearing them. Their boots are made in Mexico which is fine but the quality and price are not in line, $500 boots look like $250 boots, with tags sown in, not stamped into the leather...for $1,000, really? If you're looking for high end boots go to Lucchese or if you're looking for good boots at a reasonable price go to Tecovas.

Stephen B.

Yelp
First time in Texas and wanted to get a pair of cowboy boots. I was advised that Leddy's in Fort Worth was the place to go to buy good quality hand made boots. The store is amazing and offers a wide selection of western style boots, hats, clothing, belts, saddles and more. I certainly wasn't wasn't disappointed and left there wearing my new boots.

Krissy H.

Yelp
This place has high quality, handmade leather goods. I was working with a gentleman, I believe his name was Kim, and he showed me the three colors of the goat leather boots. It was about 5:50pm and I had a health incident and needed to leave, and they close at 6 so I wasn't able to return. We also left town the following day, but I plan to be back. Kim was very attentive and measured my foot and offered suggestions and advice for proper fitting. He is a great salesperson, and I definitely trusted him with suggestions and would have purchased from him if I hadn't had a hypoglycemic attack :/

James E.

Yelp
You pay for quality and that's what you get here. Custom orders can take time but well worth the wait and price. I have many boots from many different boot makers in Texas and even some Tecovas (in black because they get worn handful of times a year when I need a suit) and the Leddy boots are always my number one choice for day to day wear. Joe in the custom boot room is always a big help, very knowledgeable in how boots should fit. Never settle for less! Same goes with the hats, if you want a good quality felt that holds it's shape in the elements you need to spend the extra dime extra regardless the hat maker. Some of their boots are made in Mexico but the custom ones are 100% built for your foot at their original shop in San Angelo. West Texas tough!

Rodric L.

Yelp
In DFW for a short work trip and had to visit the Stockyards. I've been looking for a good pair of boots for about 10 years and never pulled the trigger. Today was the day. Mark in the boot dept couldn't have been more helpful. I'm a newbie and he was never the slightest bit condescending.... despite my obvious ignorance to quality boot knowledge. Left with my first pair of "real" boots in Ostrich and couldn't be happier. Time to break them in!

David B.

Yelp
First met the ML Leddy's team at the Houston Livestock Show. Told them the problems I have had with boots and they dove in to take a look. Saw the problems right away and assured that if I ever ordered boots from Leddy's they would make it right and would not stop until it was right. Ordered a pair and 9 months later they were ready. Gave me a call as they were being checked for quality assurance in the Fort Worth store, they are made in San Angelo, and to set up delivery and make sure everything was done correctly, before it shipped. Right out of the box they fit perfect, no break in required. I have a very difficult to fit foot and this was just amazing, perfect in every way. Other custom made boots have failed, there is no comparison. I hope to purchase a saddle someday as the quality is there as well. Reading some of the reviews and wanted to clarify some points. I paid half down and the other half when they shipped, just as they quoted. I called several times for an update and they always got back to me with the expected completion date and they were complete at the time they quoted. When I recently visited the Fort Worth store they treated me like a valued customer, or more like family. There was never any pressure to buy, they are always helpful to show me anything just to shop and look to get ideas. ML Leddy's is the finest quality, has great craftsmanship, and incredible customer service. They get it right and I am a customer for life. I am very happy the fourth generation is involved as it would be a tremendous loss for the tradition to ever end, I hope the next generation will step up and continue the legacy!

J M.

Yelp
I'm on my third pair of Leddy's, two customs and they're beyond well made authentic cowboy boots. Tony and Joe are the hat guys that can fit and shape you perfectly. They are very expensive but in my opinion the quality of their goods are second to none.

Scott S.

Yelp
Didn't really buy anything but sure enjoyed our visit and hope to go back and shop. My family stopped in while on our visit to the Stockyards. It's a beautiful store with upscale products, boots, hats, western ware. We got there a bit before closing and a fella name Matt helped us and another family. He was so nice and helpful knowing we weren't buying anything. He gave the kids some leather keychains and gave us some recommendations on places to see while at the Stockyards. We will absolutely go back and visit. Hope y'all get a chance to as well.

Corey M.

Yelp
Made in USA my ass. Shit is made in Mexico. Charging US labor prices. Oderlay pinche. Not made in USA

Clay S.

Yelp
Great store , great service. Thanks Mr. Tony for the find craftsmanship on my hat. Can't wait to come back.

Gigi E.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to MC the Leander Libertyfest on 4th of July and well, it rained a LOT during the day. My favorite cowboy boots got super muddy and I had to find someone to fix'em up. Well! Talked to the guys at Leddy's and they said, 'Bring them in' and I did. They look as good as new and the two men that run the shoeshine/repair in the store are the friendliest and most diligent people I've met. My boots look fantastic and they maintained the vintage look of the leather. Great job, great guys. It's worth the trip to the Stockyards to get yer boots done. Happy GURRL here!

Amanda A.

Yelp
Came in to M.L. Leddy's after I received a recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint. Mark took care of me and made sure I got the perfect boot for my first pair of cowgirl boots. I will be back again when I am ready for my second pair! Top notch service! Great boot buying experience and customer service that is hard to find nowadays. A+

Shamar F.

Yelp
Best quality boots, saddles and tack around. Truly a life changing experience. The historic western heritage is preserved with this place. Can't wait for my new boots!

Shelly L.

Yelp
Came back here after 3 years and bought myself a bougie belt. Definitely worth the $115. This handmade belt will last years.

Fred C.

Yelp
I give this store 2 stars only because they use decent quality of leather. If I was going to rate them on customer satisfaction and craftsmanship, barely would give this place a 1 star! My wife and I took a road trip to Texas last April, starting off in San Antonio and eventually end our trip in DFW. On our travel, we made a stop in Austin, and we came across a Mom & Pops leather goods store and found a unique Belt Buckle, they had beautiful hand crafted belts, but unfortunately they didn't have a belt to accommodate the buckle dimensions, while discussing our itinerary, to the salesperson, she suggested that I could take a look at Leddy's, they have a large selection, so off we went! When we arrived at Leddy's, a salesperson by the name of Joe Peters Jr. greeted us, I told him that I was looking for a nice belt to accommodate a buckle that I had purchased, I showed him the buckle, then I showed him a picture of the belt as an example of the color and style that I was looking for. He showed me a few belts in stock that was around $250, but nothing came close to what I was looking for. He said that the only thing that he could recommend was to have the belt custom made so that it could match the color and black backing that attracted my attention to the one that I had saw in Austin. The price tag for this special order belt was around $450, expensive yes, but with this buckle, and dark rich brown tooling with a rich looking black backing, to me it would be worth it. Order place, payment in full, 6 weeks later I receive a box with the belt, and I couldn't believe what was shipped to me, the color of the belt was not even close to what I ordered, the black backing looked like they took a small brush to applied the black dye backing, and getting it all over the leather tooling, instead of having a belt made by a craftsmanship, I received a belt made of crapmanship! I showed it to my wife, she was stunned by the poor workmanship, showed friends and co-workers, their response was the same, but with quite a few W.T.F. man you got ripped off. I call Leddy's to express my dissatisfaction, I asked to speak to the owner, but instead referred to a guy named Tommy who works in the hat department. Tommy requested that I text him the pictures of the belt, and also the example of the color and style of belt that I had showed salesperson Joe when I made the order. Tommy called me back and gave me the speech that Leddy's belts were of the finest quality belts ever made, completely overlooking the obvious flaws in what was delivered to me. He did send me a picture of a belt that they had in stock back when I was there, if that was what I was looking for, I would have bought it, and not spend an additional $150 on a special order. When I called back on his cell line, a woman answered and said Tommy was on another line, I left my contact info, that was two day ago! If anyone reads these reviews, and if I can prevent someone else from being ripped off, I can tell you from experience that it taste like the belt that was made for me " REAL CRAPPY" BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!! But if you do shop there, make sure you don't have anything special order, because it will be a special disappointment.

Sabrinie L.

Yelp
Went in as prospective buyers, expecting to be treated with the respect that such an "upscale establishment" should offer. However; we received a slew of racist and sexist vitriol, as well as ruthlessly uncomfortable high pressure sales tactics. Will not be returning and would advise others to boycott this store.

Surya C.

Yelp
"Fort Worth stockyards" being the world's famous star attraction tourist spot, displaying its vibrant colors of "the wild Wild West" culture to the rest of the world is being degraded by stores like ML Leddy's whose staff were not only rude to their customers but also impatient and impolite. I wish they showed some little gratitude towards their customers from which they earn their bread and butter.

Sue C.

Yelp
Customer service is great. Most comfortable footwear I've ever worn. I have a bit of an odd size so I'm glad I had this option to get boots that truly fit. Can't wait to get mine in the mail!

Craig H.

Yelp
My wife and I have been waiting on custom boots for two and a half years from here. Ordered them for a 15th wedding anniversary. Still not complete, with little to no communication. They take all your money up front (7k worth) and don't deliver. Do not buy custom here. Run away!

Gregory B.

Yelp
Our first trip to Leddy's. Since it is a Fort Worth institution, we had high hopes to find a couple pair of their famous boots. We left, not being disappointed. Leddy's Boot and Saddlery is located in old town Fort Worth in the historic Stockyard district. It is stock show and rodeo week, so parking was a challenge. When the tourists leave, I'm guessing their proprietary lot is adequate (free parking). When you enter the store from the street corner, you need to walk straight through the front section of clothes to get back to the boot section. We were warmly greeted several times as we made our way back to browse the boots, so I didn't see the poor/indifferent customer service some of my other Yelp friends experienced. We browsed the women's "off-the-rack" selection and after about 5 minutes we were appropriately engaged by the sales staff. He expertly explained to us why Leddy boots are so sought after, and brought my wife a couple pair to try on. She agreed that the Leddy boots were really comfortable, and decided to wear hers out of the store instead of the Lucchese's she walked in wearing (high praise indeed). At that point, I became very interested, and started trying on men's boots. All during this period, the staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Our salesman even called over a more experienced staff member who got down on his hands and knees to check the fit on my boot. We got the feeling the whole staff was just concerned that we got the right pair of boots for us. The "off-the-rack" boot selection is very limited. While I was trying on a pair, my wife went into another back room full of boots. When she asked about the boots in this room (there were some amazing boots back there), we found that was the custom boot holding section. To get a pair of custom made Leddy boots is a 14 month wait! Fortunately, we both found a boot upfront, and the pricing was about a quarter what we paid for our Lucchese's. The Leddy custom boots can get up in that price range, but these were a tremendous value. We were very happy with our customer service experience, and value for what we got. If you are looking for a great pair of boots from a Fort Worth institution for making boots, I highly recommend you check them out.

John G.

Yelp
If you're asking me $1400 for a pair of boots, at least have the courtesy to speak to me. I was in this place 12 minutes... the man shining shoes was the only person that spoke to me. I was told this was the place to go in Ft. Worth. I'll take my money elsewhere.

David W.

Yelp
This is the place to go for a custom cowboy boot. Leddy's has been in this FT Worth location since something like 1941. Talk about a solid business! They have a ton of history throughout Texas and Oklahoma. My Dad bought his first custom boots from Leddy's in the 1950's. They take at least an hour to make measurements, discuss the heel height, toe shape, colors, materials and make an outline of your foot in their ledger. I was able to locate my Dad's measurements and a boot order he placed over 10 years ago. It was kind of like going to a historic library of cowboy boots. The staff is awesome and there's nothing like the experience.

Kate V.

Yelp
If you just happen to want cowboy boots, go somewhere else. If you want the best boots of your life, and can put up with odd corny jokes, this is the place. It's family owned and operated and they really know what they are doing. Even the pre-made boots are expensive, but super comfy. You can custom order boots, but be ready to wait 6-18 months. We wish the boot fitting specialist didn't talk down to us so much. We bought a pair of boots, and knew we would. He tried to be all like "I'm man, I know what size shoe you need, and that these boots will match with everything". Could have done without that, but still a good experience.

Tommy V.

Yelp
Best boots hands down! If you are in Ft. Worth this is an absolute must. Custom or off the shelf.

Bob G.

Yelp
First a bit of background .... I spend a fair amount of time outdoors, for work and play. One of my playtime activities is related to things cowboy that go "bang". I own a set of Tony Lama boots and I thought they would be wearable when I bought them because they were well fitted. Silly me. These things are almost unbearably painful to wear for more than 30 minutes ... forget about wearing them for hours outside. I have tried on a number of other "factory" boots, all to the same effect. Pressure point pain points and cramping on the outside rear of the boots, both feet, that end up like torture very rapidly. Then I went to Leddy's and found out both the solution and the source of my boot problems. It seems that I have a pronounced and very long arch, which causes my feet to slide forward and off of the arch support area on "normal" boots. Leddy boots are designed and fitted around a different fitting paradigm, one in which the boot is fitted around your arch and not around the length or width of your foot. Really !!!! I knew that my problems were solved as soon as I tried on a pair of Leddy boots and walked around in them for awhile. No pain, no cramps, and a nice supported feeling all around including in the arch area. Problem solved, and my feet are thanking Leddy. Yee haw.

Kristen C.

Yelp
I was looking for some special boots and Leddy's delivered! The staff here is amazing and the service is top notch! Mark and Matt took great time and care helping me design the perfect pair of beautiful boots. I bought a second off the rack pair also. Beautiful quality materials make beautiful boots! They also have a great selection of clothes, hats and jewelry. Leddy's is not to be missed if you are in Fort Worth!

Christopher W.

Yelp
High end and very over priced tourist trap you cannot beat the quality but you can beat the price.

Dennis C.

Yelp
This requires a bit of a picture to be painted. I am from NY born and raised. I have never been much of a cowboy or really a fan of the wild wild west culture for the most part.. friends of mine would think girls look super hot in cowboy boots and I just never understood it, did nothing for me... Few chapters in life later my cousin moves out to TX and long story short I go out and visit her. Lets just say not only did I fall in love with the Lone Star State... but found a new inspiration and appreciation for all things Texas.. yes including cowboy hats, boots, and belts... ohhh the belts! My cousin took me on a trip into Fort Worth and we visited M L Leddy's. This put the nail in the coffin for me. I never before wanted a custom cowboy hat in my life but for some reason fell under the spell that Texas has a way of doing (So I was told constantly but never understood). I loved the hats, and wanted one bad. Then the big decision... and it was to not be selfish (for once) So instead I purchased some souvenir bull horns that are absolutely beautiful - to give to my parents lol End of the day all i can say is if you ever get the chance to visit Texas or maybe just live within reasonable distance... go visit M L Leddy's at least once in your life. They have such an amazing selection of hand made leather goods that really show you how impressive American tradesmen and women are. The quality of these boots, cowboy hats, belts, and everything else leather is simply impressive. It gave me a new found appreciation for quality made Texas leathers and speaking highly of not only M L Leddys but the entire state. Yeeaa Haaa!

Collin S.

Yelp
Walked in feeling like I was about to be the new owner of a pair of boots or hat, instead I walked out feeling like the chew that was being spit into the bin in the corner of the hat section.

Ashton M.

Yelp
I wanted something special to get my husband after he graduated residency. We went to ML Leddy's for his first custom pair of boots. Everyone at ML Leddy's was more than helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. The men who work there were extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. We never felt rushed or like we were being pushed one way or another. We have a while before we get the boots, but are extremely excited to receive them in the mail.

Yelp
Joe called said my boots were back so I drove an hour excited that they were going to fit. They don't fit. Joe's explination...your foot will slop around in our boots. I have custom boots that fit but they didn't come from ML Leddy's. Don't waste your time or money!

Yelp
I went in here once with a pair of boots in my hands looking for boot tips. The woman took one look at my $300 boots and told me they only work on their own boots. I told her I just wanted boot tips and she told me they only sold cowboy boots. (I had some in my hand but I guess they were under a thousand dollars so I'm not worth the time. Rude, dismissive and overpriced.

Yelp
Went to Leddys to check out some cowboy boots for my hubby. He had an idea of what he wanted but was not sure. The service left much to be desired in terms of the overall experience. I kind of felt like I was in pretty woman. Needless to say, I don't think we will be returning.

Yelp
Wanted to wear my new boots for a month before writing this review. Mark did an outstanding job selecting the right size. They feel great and continue to get better each day. I've read a couple negative reviews stating that the staff was arrogant. I found Mark to be very knowledgeable and confident. I don't need a sales associate to suck up to me. I need a high quality boot and professional fitting and that's exactly what I got. Thumbs up.

Yelp
I went to Leddy's and purchased a semi-custom sports jacket and 3 pairs of custom trousers, totaling $1,800. The quality of the jacket and it's initial tailoring was horrible in view of the cost. The salesman later admitted that this particular manufacturer was not very good. This makes me question why a place of Leddy's stature would carry this line of clothing. It's taken much longer to receive the clothes than I was told, and I have yet to receive the trousers. While the salesman was cordial and offered to reimburse me for the additional tailoring that my jacket required, I get the impression that my dissatisfaction was not that important to them. For the price of their products and overall customer service, I cannot recommend Leddy's.

Yelp
Terrible service, merchandising and overall feel. The reviews you read are true. We used to shop often at the Sundance Square location and loved everything about it. Unfortunately it closed down and the story about the closing states that " its not to downsize but to consolidate their Leddys Family and great personnel." Completely false. We visited their stockyards location today. The people are terrible- at their other location we would not leave without spending $2000+..... today, the old guy in the 1970's suit (I like vintage - but not old jerks) asked us if he could help us with anything. My husband replied saying we were "just looking right now". About 5 minutes later we had inquired about some boots with another associate- she mentioned to the old guy that we were looking at boots, his reply (in front of us) " they're not going to buy anything". Funny- he didn't realize that we normally would have. store completely stinks now.... people, merchandise, atmosphere, etc. bad decision on Leddy's part. We will never shop with them again. DONT GO!!!

Yelp
The employees in the boot department only talk to each other and ignore their customers all around them, as if they don't even exist. I was very insulted and disappointed after going there, specifically, with high hopes to find a good pair of boots. I'd give it one star but the employees in the clothing and accessory departments were at least friendly, so I'm giving it 2 stars.

Yelp
Love this Fort Worth institution! Great selection of high quality western wear. The shoe shine guy is the best!
