Wonderful gallery with grand spaces on the Upper Eastside. The current retrospective of the late Frank Stella (1936-2024) looks fabulous with significant works from his entire career.

Amazing Franz Kline exhibition! Clear, organized and beautiful

One of my favorite shows of the year. The abstraction of Sean Scully’s work placed alongside Morandis and Gustons. Absolutely stunning.

My first time as this sort of thing. Went for the Church & Rothko selection and was very impressed only by the Church selections. Definitely not a Rothko (abstract) fan. Amazing works by Church definitely. Very small gallery though and by appointment only.

Always looking for their next show. I enjoy the space and exhibitions, recently the Minimalism and Beyond show in 2017 and Reds exhibit that just opened April 2018. Happy to go into the city to see what they have on display.

I visited Mnuchin for the first time to see Cindy Sherman's show. The space is beautiful. I hope to return again soon.

David Hammons exhibit was awesome. Locked unmarked door makes it hard to find though; you have to get buzzed in

Yelp
Had no idea that you could come and view their art. A friend from downtown had been recently and was amazed I hadn't gone as my apartment is so close by. Jumped on the website and arranged a time slot. The building is impressive, definitely feels like a large fancy apartment that's been made into a gallery. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and it was a welcoming experience. Nice to briefly enter the world of billionaires and money launderers for a brief glimpse ! We saw Rothkos and Church paintings- the first two floors were open, not sure if there are ever other works on the other floors. Drop round to Lady Ms cakes next door for a high end snack after you have purchased your artwork.

Yelp
Great rotating collections of modern/contemporary American art (1950s on). Loved the free Kazuo Shiraga exhibit--so colorful :) super textural and broody pieces, painted by FOOT. The browns admittedly look like poop goop. But still amazing to see in person. Dont miss this one.

Yelp
I was here for the Damien Hirst's Medicine Cabinets exhibit. The first two cabinets were made back in 1988 when he was 23. I wanted to see his earlier works rather than the more known diamond-encrusted skulls. The work here was well-described, but not extensive. Based on the way of the pharmaceutical packing was arranged, it gave me a passage to the artist's inner self.
