Mo Li Restaurant serves Shanghai cuisine located in the neighborhood of Elmhurst. We passed by a couple of months ago and finally got a chance to give it a try. The decor is simple and humble with plenty of seating and cozy ambiance. It’s been really popular recently so it’s kind of crowded during the peak. We shared Beef Stuffed Pancake, Cabbage, Braised Pork, Boneless Pork Feet w Pepper and Dry Sautéed Pork Intestine. The portion was great with reasonable price. My personal favorite was the Braised Pork. It looked extremely appetizing and tasted flavorful with soft texture. My roommate loves their pork intestine which was fried perfectly and spicy.

An exceptionally serene atmosphere sets this Elmhurst eatery apart. It's a haven where I can truly enjoy a tranquil dining experience. The cuisine here is notably superior, with the beef noodle soup standing out as a remarkable highlight. Highly recommend for a peaceful and delicious meal.

Restaurant itself very very clean. And AC is on. Ordered a lot, they all taste great. Strongly recommend the:Da Pan Ji, chicken & potato stew with noodles underneath. Service, polite and efficient. Will be back for more dishes for sure.

All I can say is I was presently surprised. I saw someone post on Facebook about this place and decided to stop by with my wife and baby. Food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious!! I tried a few things off the menu and each one was fantastic. I was expecting at least some items to only be okay but no, everything was great!! Will be coming back often! Def gives the other restaurants in the area a reason to up their game. The menu needs a bit better clarification, names were in Chinese and the English was just the translation of the Chinese name giving me no indication of what the dish was made of or the ingredients that went in it. I’m sure that can easily be improved. The noodle options were especially confusing. Food is from the northwestern part of China which is also a bit different than other restaurants in the neighborhood. Service was great. For a soft opening status. I can’t wait for what this place will be like once fully operational. Other restaurants, watch out, new game in town!

Came here for lunch. Food was great. They have a special going on now where you order $30+ and you get free order of their soup dumpling. Which were really good! Overall great Shanghainese food. Staff was very attentive and friendly.

I tried almost every noodle dish here and they are all very good. I recommend the cold noodles and the biang biang noodles. Lamb skewers are really tasty as well. The lamb burger, is a miss, or could use some picked vegetables. I recommend you order the garlicky cucumbers to go with the lamb burger. One dish that is constantly out of stock is the lamb pilaf. Every time I order it, it gets cancelled. I ended up making rice at home to eat with the lamb skewers and the veggies. I think this location is having some equipment issues, every time I try to order, they are closed. Not sure what is going on here. I hope they reopen soon.

This location just opened up in Elmhurst. We tried the Lan Zhou Noodles, Monsterous Chicken Plate and Pork Hamburger. All dishes were very good. The Monsterous Chicken Plate comes with wide noodles underneath. Service was good and waiters were kind. Would go back. They don’t have high chairs yet in case you are coming with very little ones

Dined here with 2 of my friends. We ordered lamb burgers, beef noodle and spicy beef noodle and cucumber, spicy chicken, and lamb skewers. Food was so delicious. Definitely will come back.
