"This newer shabu shabu house in South Bay offers a unique AYCE setup. Start with a traditional, sukiyaki, kimchi, or even tonkotsu soup base, then offers all the meat, seafood, and veggies for just under $35 a person for dinner, and even cheaper for lunch. The only catch is that diners have to finish their meals within 90 minutes. Considering there’s virtually no waiting time for food once the table is seated, this usually isn’t hard to do. During lunch, there’s a meat plate limit of two per person, though the buffet is still unlimited." - Matthew Kang

We walked in on December 31st around 5 PM without a reservation, so we only had an hour to dine before the next party arrived. Despite the time constraint, the experience was impressive. The service was exceptional—our server was attentive and quick to check in as soon as we ran out of meat, ensuring we could order more without delay. The staff’s friendliness added to the positive atmosphere. The food quality was outstanding, particularly the premium cuts of meat, which justify the slightly higher price compared to other shabu-shabu spots. The selection of vegetables was also excellent, offering plenty of variety to complement the meal. The only downside was that the ice machine was out of ice whenever we went to use it, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, we had a great time and left satisfied, even with the limited time to enjoy our meal. We’ll definitely be returning and look forward to a longer visit next time!

Google
So we made a reservation for Saturday night, and everything felt familiar, just like the other location we have been to. Service is Solid. Unlimited drinks for a small fee? Worth it. But let’s talk about the food...udon salad is a must. Something about that texture and flavor just hits right. And don’t sleep on the curry with rice, either. Meat quality is on point. Spicy tomato miso broth? That’s the one. Perfect spot to settle in.

Food was good, not great. Service could be little faster, but overall better than most places. I live in LA close to Hollywood, worth driving all the way to torrance for this? Probably once in a while.

Today was our first time at this restaurant and it was FANTASTIC! The food was great! Everything was simple and quick! Very clean place and a pleasant environment. The service was AWESOME! Our server Janelle was above and beyond. She was very kind, and attentive, and she made sure we were well taken care of. We are coming back soon for sure.

I recently dined with a group of four at Mo-Mo-Paradise, and it was a delightful experience! Having frequented Shabuya in Koreatown, I found this place to be a great alternative. Mo-Mo-Paradise offers a modern take on traditional Japanese hot pot, with shabu-shabu and sukiyaki styles prepared right at your table. The range of international and local meats and fresh vegetables was impressive. You can tell they put a lot of emphasis on quality and variety, which is something that's hard to find elsewhere. Mo-Mo-Paradise has a strong reputation across Asia, and I can see why. The fresh ingredients and unique dining experience really set it apart. I'm excited to visit again and explore more of their menu!

Google
The time limit is 90 mins per visit, and we had a reservation for 8:30. Upon arrival, the front desk told us last call is at 9:30, and then took 25 minutes to get us our table, so we only had 35 mins to actually order food, grab veggies, or drinks. It’s frustrating because the other staff were incredibly friendly and the food was great. But paying for 90 mins of dinning and getting only 35 mins needs to get called out. What’s the point of reserving if the table wasn’t going to be ready anyways, not to mention there were lots of empty tables from when we arrived to when they closed? Hopefully you have a better experience than we did.

Google
Food was really good. The service was pretty quick overall, the food came in only a couple minutes within ordering. The cups at the self-service drink station took a while to be refilled and I think some customers were waiting a bit, but overall wasn't a big deal. It was all you can eat and the food was really good quality so I think it was definitely worth it for the price.

Google
This place is beyond my expectation! 10 out of 10 We arrived at the restaurant at 21:00 but the food is still sufficient and they refill them really fast and frequently! The staff is also friendly and helpful😊 Food options include: a variety of vegs… beef/pork/chicken/drink bar. Definitely recommend the sukiyaki broth. Remember to ask for an egg and use it as your sauce! It’s a traditional and authentic way to have sukiyaki. Oh and don’t forget to try their curry😊 delicious! The parking area is also large so don’t need to worry about parking. 18% service charge will be automatically included in your check. In conclusion, it’s an amazing place and I would 100% visit again!

Yelp
So delicious!!!! so worth it!!!!!! Best meal I have had since I moved to the south bay earlier this year!

Yelp
We recently made reservations for this location and while we were driving to the restaurant, the family we were set to meet called to cancel. I called Momo right away to see if they could adjust our reservation and they were so pleasant and understanding. The service is friendly and attentive and I like their veggie offerings in the self serve area. The beef curry goes great with all the meats they have on offer

Yelp
This place gets busy, so I thought Friday of the July 4th holiday weekend (when a lot of people are out-of-town) would be a good time to get a dinner rez. I've heard only positive things about Mo Mo Paradise and my family and I were excited to try it. We ordered the AYCE menu and we were pleasantly surprised with the meat quality, the selection of vegetables, tofu, meatballs, etc. And, the counters are constantly cleaned, so it's not the unappetizing mess you find at other hot-pot/shabu shabu places. Service was professional and attentive. The only knock was the broth- the Shabu Shabu and Tonkotsu broths were both a bit on the bland-side (we'll try the tomato broth next time). 100% chance we return. Bon Appétit!

Yelp
I've realized I come here way too often to not leave a review. Honestly my favorite shabu spot in LA hands down. I love the simplicity of it. Some people will complain about the limited meat and broth selection but I think it's perfect and makes it easy when it comes to choosing. I appreciate the wide selection of vegetables they have at the buffet. Everything is fresh and well-replenished. They also have a little curry station (SO good!). AND a boba station for those who love making their own boba concoction. I truly have no complaints about this place. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5

Yelp
Easy to make reservations online. Good food for decent price. All the broths are very flavorful. The self- serve station had fresh vegetables. Great customer service! Highly recommended!

Monica M.

Yelp
My daughter absolutely loves this place. I love that all the options are included in one price. Also worth noting this is the 1st restaurant I've ever been to that serves boba. That was cool

Yelp
What a fun lunch!!! And such a deal! AYCE lunch is $26.95 which is such a deal!!! Includes up to 2 different broth + ayce meat and toppings + even curry!!!! We got the beef chuck and beef short and so yummy!!! Love the farmers market section to pick and choose we'll the veggies, noodles, and sauces you want. Even got the aycd special and tried their fountain drinks. The peach was delicious. The service was great and we went for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty packed but everything still came out fast and they really made sure we were good throughout lunch. Can't wait to bring my friends and family!!

Yelp
3.5 stars...almost 4. Our experience here started off kinda rocky. But thanks to our helpful server, it quickly became a pleasant lunch. I sometimes forget that certain hotpot places have you share a pot with others in your party. I didn't do my research and as soon as we sat down, I discovered that there was one burner for our party of 4 and the pot we would use is split in the middle to accommodate 2 different broths. The issue here is that I was the only vegan in our party and I didn't want to share a pot with my meateater friends for fear of splashing. We brought this issue up to the host who brought us to our table. But he struggled with providing us with solutions. He also was resistant to our suggestions. We noticed a bigger table behind us that was empty and had twice the burners. But he said that he couldn't move us there because it was for larger parties. There was a table for two right next to us that was empty and had a single burner. We asked if half our party could sit there so that we could still sit next to each other. But he said that the table was reserved and the couple requested that specific table. The only solution that he offered us was to split our party up and offered a second table across the room. This wasn't gonna work for us since the whole point of going out with our friends was to socialize with them. At this point, I was on the edge of hangry since we had already waited an hour to get our table. While the host stepped away, our waitress came by our table to introduce herself and see if she could help. Immediately she offered the table right next to us. We were confused since the host had previously said that the table next to us was reserved. She said that it was fine and that we could take it. So our friends sat at the adjacent table and Meateater Hubby sat with me at the veggie-only hot pot table. The Tomato Broth is the one plant-based option listed on the menu. Then the waitress informed me that they also have a Creamy Vegan Broth not listed on the menu. I preferred this broth over the Tomato Broth. There was even a moment when I questioned if the Creamy Broth was truly vegan because the creamy flavor had me fooled. The waitress offered to grab the product out of the kitchen to show me so that I could look at the ingredients. Super nice of her! The selection of AYCE veggies was quite delicious. I filled up on kale, baby bok choy, tofu, all types of mushrooms, and shirataki noodles. There are more veggie-friendly ingredients at the buffet but I'm listing only the ones that I ate. For the entire duration that we stayed in the restaurant, the bigger table behind us was not taken. In fact, the dining area was never at full capacity on a Sunday at 2pm. Not sure why it took 1-hour for us to get seated. Also, I'm starting to believe that there was never any reservation that requested that specific table right next to us. Not sure why the host was not very willing to budge on our suggestion but I'm glad that our helpful waitress stepped in and that our lunch experience ended on a positive note! Now that I know the environment that I'm stepping into, I would gladly go back to Momo Paradise and possibly update this review with a higher rating.

Yelp
My friend and I dined in on a Friday night around 7:30pm. We made a reservation for 8:30pm but it was an easy change to 7:30pm! Upon entering, there were still empty seats so not overly crowded. We got the Sukiyaki and Tonkatsu broth in their split pot and everything was delicious! We liked how the meats are decently quality and the meats were thinly sliced. The veggies, sauce and hotpot toppings were self served on the side which made it easier to customize to your liking! They had Ponzu and Goma at each table for the hotpot. The self serve bar included: Japanese curry, rice, various hotpot toppings, noodles, veggies, etc! The curry and rice was a nice addition but could easily fill you up from the rest of the AYCE meats! We opted in for the AYCE drinks on their sodas and milk tea for 2.99, but both agreed we could skip on that next time as it tasted watered down. Overall, the experience was really pleasant. The servers checked in often, were super friendly and it was very clean. They were not stingy about the meat either! I would say it's worth it for an AYCE hotpot experience!

Yelp
I wanted to try this place because it usually appears on my Instagram feed. The food is not bad; they offer a few types of meat. However, the price of $38.95 per person, even on weekends, is quite expensive. Additionally, the farmers' market/vegetable station doesn't have much variety. They don't even offer seafood; only fish tofu and fish balls are available. I have tried other places that offer seafood, delicious dipping sauces, and a better selection of vegetables at a price of less than $30. So, I was surprised when we were charged for two all-you-can-eat (AYCE) beverages, even though only my daughter ordered a beverage. My husband and I only had water and a complimentary hot tea. When we inquired about the charge, they mentioned that it was because we used two glasses. My husband was confused and asked if the charge was per glass. He mentioned that she didn't even drink much, the only good thing is my daughter is discounted. Not sure if it's worth the drive or the price. Might not come back here.

Yelp
We went for the first time my lady and I, the service and atmosphere were so welcoming and friendly. I loved the different variety of broths and sides. All in all the experience was a 10/10!

Jackie C.

Yelp
Was charged a mandatory 18% fee of the entire meal cost. The tax was 10%, but not 10% of the meal cost but 10% of TOTAL of cost of the meal + the 18% service charge. I was disappointed. The mandatory 18% applies to everyone, even one person only.

Sherry C.

Yelp
All-you-can-eat ramen OR all-you-can-eat shabu, which would you choose??? I'm like the most indecisive person ever, so if you're like me, luckily we don't have to choose at Momo Paradise! I've probably been to the Rowland Heights location over 20 times, so that's a testament to how much I love this place, even over the years! You can make your own bowl of ramen at the Farmer's Market station with the freshest ingredients. Order your favorite cuts of high-quality meats with your server, my favorite is the Kurobuta pork shoulder. They were out of the Beef eye of round when we went. Not to mention there's a build-your-own boba station AND unlimited beef curry rice that might be my favorite out of everything there! Thanks for reading! ^-^

Jeff C.

Yelp
Great spot for shabu shabu. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation otherwise you might not be able to get seated as most people do and it's usually busy. The meats are top quality for an Ayce shabu spot. The veggies are fresh and they have unlimited curry as well! The curry is pretty yummy too and I definitely went back for seconds. They also have things such as fish balls and meatballs next to the veggies as well. Not much seafood besides the fish balls but the quality of everything else made up for it. This is one of my go to shabu spots. The service is good and the waiters come quickly. There's plenty of parking in the plaza as well.

George F.

Yelp
Momo Paradise is a AYCE Japanese shabu restaurant. There are multiple locations and this one is located on Duarte in Arcadia. I've been to one in Taipei and they are famous for including boba drinks with your meal. Our party of 7 drank mostly pitchers of Sapporo Beer and sake. I made reservations on line through open table. Meats: 4 different cuts of beef Pork Belly Chicken Veggie Bar Veggies, mushrooms, meatballs, Fish balls, tofu Sauces Ponzu, sesame, ground radish, Chopped jalapeños Soup base Shabu, Tonkatsu, miso, water Service was good. Automatic 20% tip is added. Parking lot in the back.

Danielle K.

Yelp
This place is SO COOL!!! My boss told me about it & i dont do hot pot a lot cuz it is pricey. This place is more reasonable, plus its ayce! I love their vegetable/noodle area which is self-serve and the drink area is too. Our waitress was very nice and helpful (and attentive!) when we told her it was our first time and she didnt let us down with the recommendations either! We loved the pork belly and fattier beef the best. We got the sukiyaki and tonkatsu broth (suki was my fave) and both were very flavorful! They do not skimp out on you here. I want to try the tomato base next time for sure. Its a good size space but i hear it gets insane on the weekends but luckily they accept reservations. Cant wait go to back cuz it is the best shabu ive ever had!!

Jasnelly E.

Yelp
Food is great. Service is good. Can't compare to any other hotspots considering this is the only one I've had but it's good enough to keep me coming back for more.

Ingrid L.

Yelp
Ah, the world of all-you-can-eat restaurants! Normally not my scene, especially with my two little ones who eat like they're nibbling on cheese crumbs. But Momo's discounts kiddos based on their age - under 4? They eat for free! 5 to 10? Half price! And, there's this magical drink garden with three toppings for just $2.55 for as much as you can drink. My crew was all in for this extravaganza, until my son, the boba connoisseur, demanded his beloved honey boba, which they did not offer. It's not perfect, guys. Momo was a haven for picky eaters like mine, offering curry delights, slurp-worthy ramen, and, of course, the meaty marvels that had us all satisfied until we were met with another unexpected finale, ice cream! Service was better than average. Make a reservation online to reduce the wait time!

Abby G.

Yelp
This place is still one of my favorite shabu shabu style hotpot place! I always make a reservation before coming in. I am not sure if it they do this still but I believe if it is busy they may not take walk ins if they have a lot of reservations. The meat quality is always consistent. I wish that they had more variety of what is at the garden but it's good enough. I always get the sukiyaki soup base and the 3 different beef plates. As of drinks, they still have a drink garden which you can get unlimited drinks of sodas and teas with toppings like boba for an add on of $2 or $3. I also tried their sake cocktails which I wasn't a fan of. I didn't even finish my drink. Service has been okay lately. I have had great service from some, and iffy service from others. Usually when I am looking to order more meat sometimes the server is no where to be found.

Danielle F.

Yelp
This was a good low cost hot pot place with great service. Did they have the highest quality meat or amazing soup bases? No, definitely not. It provided a good hot pot experience with yummy meats and veggies without breaking the bank. The table doesn't come set with salt which I feel is a big mistake because I really didn't like the tastes of the soup or the meats until I asked for salt. I went during the daytime on a weekend and there were lots of noisy families and babies so if that bothers you, go at a different time! Also - definitely make a reservation.

Lauren T.

Yelp
I've been to Momo several times, but after last night, me & my friend both got sick from the food! I'm not sure what it was from, but it was on 2/19. I'm curious to know if there have been any other recent complaints from customers who ate here yesterday. We were both waking up in the middle of the night, and feel nauseous and sick from the food. This was the only meal we had together. I'm just disappointed because Momo is so expensive ($45) for dinner. Although the service was excellent & is the main reason for the 3 stars, I can't get past paying $45 each only to get sick that night & all of today. I'm sad :(

Jimmy S.

Yelp
No chicken? What happened? This was one of the main reason why we came here again for. Couple stars for the usual good broth and frozen tofu they still have at least.

Melissa L.

Yelp
Went here with a group of 7 last night. We made a reservation ahead of time and didn't have to wait at all for our table. I frequently go to the one in Rowland Heights and this one is just as good. The servers were on top of making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return to this one if I'm in the area My favorite broth is the tonkotsu but we did a split pot with tomato and I was surprised at how good it was. The meat quality is excellent. It was the first time here for most of the group and everyone had great things to say.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
This place definitely did not live up to the hype. I am a huge shabu shabu lover and this was my third time having shabu shabu this week alone. And honestly, this experience left me fairly disappointed. First off, for the price point of $34.95/pp for dinner/weekends; I would've expected more options. Their meat choices from the kitchen are your typical choices with the pork belly and chicken only available during dinner/weekends. I went over to their self serve bar and noticed only two options for noodles. Very few options for vegetables and even less meat options available for self serve. They only had pork ball and fish ball. They did have hot beef curry but I felt it lacked much meat and the curry was extremely dense. They have a drink garden. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE SELF SERVICE LOOK, ITS AN ADDITIONAL COST. We were charged for this, which makes absolutely no sense when it's self serve. For the broth, I chose the shabu shabu and the tonkotsu broth. I honestly stuck with the tonkotsu cos the other one lacked flavor. But I did request for them to add more chili extract drops to my broth. We also had to ask for multiple sauces like soy sauce. They do not have a sauce bar and only provide goma and ponzu sauce. If you want eggs, you have to request it. If you didn't know they had it, you might miss out on it. The service was okay. It was nothing that stood out to me. A lot of the times, I would have to call out to get someone's attention, not like someone was coming by and checking on us often. I also do not like the mandatory charge of 18% gratuity. I always tip and usually tip more when service is exceptional. But being obligated to tip an amount that didn't seem appropriate is mind boggling. And for people who do not look over their receipt, it's easy to double tip not knowing you've been charged for it already. They also recommend tipping more on top of that. Reason for their mandatory tipping is to meet the living costs and wages, which their business should be paying them a wage that's appropriate and not rely on the customers tips. Also, back to the whole some people don't check their receipts and could miss things. Thank goodness I checked, because they also charged us for 6 people when we were a group of 5. Recap, food was mediocre. Service was whatever. Prices does not reflect a good selection of choices. Overcharged and mandatory tipping is a no for me. I wouldn't come here again. My go to shabu shabu place is Broth shabu shabu in Cerritos/Artesia area. Then, All that Shabu. Either way, I'd probably skip this place. I'm kind of annoyed people hyped this place up at all.

Donald T.

Yelp
I love Sukiyaki and Momo is great for it. The wait is long but if you can get around that, you'll be rewarded with a great experience. They offer a lotta cuts and you should try one of each before you commit. Our favorite is Chuck because it's the perfect blend of fat and meat. Short rib was too fatty and that Eye of Round was disgustingly lean. Their sodas are unlimited but you go at night after dinner rush, there might not be any boba left. Go check out their salad bar options to see what noodles and sides they got and if you like it, come give Momo a try!

Sue J.

Yelp
We have eaten here about 10 times and always enjoy it. We've also brought several friends here because everything is always so fresh. Normally, tho, our server disappears after bringing our chosen broth, and we don't see them again until the end of the meal. Not tonight! Lily was such a nice surprise! She stopped by our table many times, making sure we had everything we needed. (This girl needs a RAISE, management! ) She made this our best meal here yet. One note to other diners... management adds an 18% service charge to all meals! We assumed this was a gratuity that was passed on to the servers. Not so! The hard-working servers get a measly 2% of that while management pockets the rest! $30 for dinner is already too expensive without MoMo pumping it up an additional 18%! Only 4-stars for the meal cost.

Abida D.

Yelp
Went for the first time on a Friday night without reservations. When we got there it was estimated a 2 hour wait, but it ended up being only 45 minutes! It was such a fun experience. I loved getting unlimited toppings at the bar, the $2.55 unlimited drinks, and watching all the meats boil. The meat quality was great and the broth was flavorful. I was extremely full after and it hurt to breathe, but it was worth it haha.

Liam R.

Yelp
Delicious shabu shabu in Torrance! Overall great flavor and experience with delicious and fresh meat cuts, fast and attentive service, and well-stocked self serve veggie bar. Meat options, in order of recommendation: 1. Beef short 2. Pork belly (only for dinner/ weekends) 3. Pork shoulder 4/5. Beef chuck eye/ Beef eye of round They also have chicken thighs (only for dinner/ weekends), which comes in a small bowl. Broth: definitely recommended the sukiyaki, which was delicious and flavored the meats and veggies beautifully; tonkatsu was pretty bland in comparison Good veggie options and sauce bar. No other prepared appetizer options. Keep in mind that while drinks are self serve, you will be charged for any soft drinks (2.55 per person). AYCE includes complimentary ice cream, flavor varies depending on the day, when we were there, there were no Asian flavors.

Winnie W.

Yelp
I came here on a Thursday around 5-6pm with no reservation for a party of 2, and was seated immediately. It was around $35 for dinner/person, + $3 for the all you can drink option, which includes sodas, teas, and milk teas. Their rules here are pretty simple & similarly to other AYCE places: 1. 90 minute time limit 2. Choose up to two broths per pot (I got tomato & sukiyaki) I recommend getting the sukiyaki broth!! Very umami and sweet. I prefer more fatty cuts of meat so if you're into that, then order the beef short plate or pork belly cuts! They also have a "farmer's market/table" section where they offer a self-serve bar of fresh vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and udon/ramen noodles. Overall, this place is worth giving a try, but I still prefer Broth/Shabuya more (*´w`*)

Kenneth C.

Yelp
I've been sitting on this review for awhile but Momo Paradise used to be an institution. I haven't been in a while but it really is hard to beat their AYCE sukiyaki and tonkotsu broth. My girlfriend and I are huge fans of the beef chuck eye and short plate (love grabbing a plate or two of pork belly). They used to have a serve yourself milk tea with boba bar but the last time I went they only had their craft sodas. Service was pretty okay every time when it gets busy on the weekends it's hard to grab their attention but that is sort of expected at busy restaurants. Always a go-to if I'm craving good shabu shabu!

Jason N.

Yelp
Mo-Mo Paradise is my favorite dining destination. Every visit is a delight, with their sukiyaki standing out as an unbeatable highlight. And let me tell you, don't skip out on the egg--it's an essential addition that takes the dish to new heights. The array of fresh vegetables available ensures there's something for everyone, but my personal favorite has to be the curry--it adds a delicious kick to an already flavorful experience. I always order their Beef Short Plate. The meat quality is exceptional. The ambiance of the restaurant is just right, with well-lit surroundings and the perfect soundtrack of lofi music playing softly in the background. It's the ideal setting for a relaxing meal with friends or family. Service here is exceptional, with staff members who are attentive, friendly, and always eager to accommodate any request. In summary, Mo-Mo Paradise delivers a flawless hotpot experience every time, earning it a well-deserved rating of 5/5. I appreciate their value for quality over quantity. I'll be returning again and again without a doubt.

Anne P.

Yelp
I wanted to give this place another chance despite my most previous experience, and I was pleasantly surprised! I came around 8 pm without a reservation & the wait was ~20 minutes after being quoted 40 minutes, which I didn't mind because I just walked to Daiso in the same plaza for a bit! I got the sukiyaki again (with the egg of course), along with the beef short plate, beef eye round, and beef chuck eye. The meat quality was sooooo much better than the last time I got it. I usually like the beef short plate, but this time the chuck eye was my favorite! All the meats are of amazing quality. I was happy to see that the rice for the curry was always stocked, along with the sauces and vegetable bar. Additionally, the service was extremely fast and the staff were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend and I'm so glad I came back to this place!! :^)

Jorel C.

Yelp
TL:DR Amazing value. Would go back if my friends come. You pay $30 and get unlimited food for hotpot. What else do you wanna know? Truthfully, I am not sure if the quality of the food served here could be considered premium because of the price. Maybe you can say its "Good Enough" Kinda gives me the vibe that you get what you pay for. That being said, if you want to gorge and have a hotpot experience for a cheap price, you have to come here cause you're probably gonna enjoy it. I had a good time coming here cause I got to spend time with my friends and we had a lot of fun eating. Momo is great but it's not gonna be my first pick if I want some hotpot. The staff was courteous and nice and they helped us with whatever questions we had. Typing this with a pragmatic tone and wish the restaurant all the best!

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE Momo Paradise! Every time I come here, the food and service is always excellent. The servers are always so nice and accommodating, and the meat quality is superb. It is AYCE for around $35 (dinner) and it costs about $3 for all you can drink, which is worth it because they offer milk tea and other lemonades! For our group of three, we opted for the sukiyaki and the tonkatsu broth. I always preferred the sukiyaki broth to dip my meat in with the raw egg on the side. The sukiyaki broth is sweet, salty, and is savory, so it goes well with everything. You have to order the meat with the server, but getting the vegetables and your sauce it is self serve. The reason why I love Momo so much is that they offer curry, and it is actually good curry as well! The servers here are the absolute best here, and truly make the dining experience worth it! From birthdays our just a casual dinner, Momo Paradise holds a special place in my heart and I always stop by whenever I'm in Torrance or want to introduce peope to Asian cuisine.

Yelp
came for lunch and it was delicious! the price is pretty fair for what they offer at the self service bar. they unfortunately don't have as much, compared to other shabu places but they still have the basics and can still make a great meal. the service is phenomenal and the bar is kept well stocked all the time. it's also very clean, especially the bar, which is not always the case for other shabu places. you can also do a split pot and get 2 soups which is great! i recommend this place if you just want a quick stop for shabu

Yelp
great place to get introduced to hot pot with its all you can eat buffet system. Highly recommend it for leisurely meat-filled weekend lunch.

Yelp
My absolutely favorite for AYCE hotpot. Meats are of high quality and service is great! There is also a veggie bar along with curry and soft drinks. Only con is potentially wait for dinner but love this spot!

Yelp
I love this spot! Momo is great because: - AYCE sukiyaki (or other bases) with great quality meat and soup base - AYCE Curry rice which taste absolutely amazing. I literally get 2 bowls knowing that I'm wasting space in my stomach haha - AYCE Ramen or Udon to put in your base - AYCE drinks such as Passion fruit tea, boba, melon soda, etc Service is also really great at momo locations and efficient A few things to note: - wait times to get seated can be pretty long. - if you are able to make a reservation, I highly recommend doing so - gratuity is included in the bill automatically, so don't tip extra (unless you want to)

Yelp
Food was great. The restaurant is clean. Good selection of veggies and meats. I really liked the curry so.

Yelp
One of my favorite hot pot places to eat at. Hands down you must get their Sukiyaki broth - it's a perfect balance of sweet and savory. You're supposed to dip your raw meat (recommend any beef) into the sukiyaki broth to cook, then dip the cooked meat into the raw egg and eat it = the perfect combo. Their beef cuts are perfectly meaty with the right amount of fat to add flavor. I highly recommend putting their vegetables into the sukiyaki broth which soaks up all the flavor you don't even need any dipping sauce on the side. I like how simple the meat menu is and they have several selections of fresh Asian vegetables, fish balls, udon noodles, ramen noodles, and their own beef curry with rice that's also superior in taste. For the price of the all you can eat - it's definitely worth coming here! They do limit you to 1.5 hours of eating for their $35 all you can eat dinner. Well worth the price and cozy ambiance!

Yelp
The GOAT of sukiyaki places. After souplantaion, home town buffet, makino, and other legendary buffet places shuttered their doors, Mo-mos continues to thrive. Every year we make our pilgrimage to Mo-mos our group gets the fatty beef w/ the sukiyaki soup. It's perfect every time, so why rock the boat? The meat quality of the fatty beef is comparable to the best KBBQ or Shabu Shabu places you'd find in SoCal. At $35/ head for dinner, Mo-mos is probably the highest price x quality x value ratio if you're going for all you can eat meat. Beyond the meat, Mo-mos offers a wide range of hot pot fare (veggies, shrooms, etc) and my personal favs: the curry rice and milk tea on tap :) Worth it every time! Price: 9/10 Quality: 10/10 Value: 10/10

Yelp
After 6 years i finally tried it and i was not disappointed.. the meat quality is superb!! Can't go wrong with any toppings, veggies or meat. I went with sukiyaki and shabu. Tonkotsu is good too but i really enjoyed the raw garlic and sauces. The sodas are really unique! Melon, peach etc all good. Ice cream at the end is great too!!!

Yelp
A good hotpot experience! Service was pretty good on a weekday lunch but they forgot my ice cream at the end (bummer). Appreciated the lofi, instrumental music that wasn't too loud so I could chat with friends. Air circulation wasn't the best and certain areas of the restaurant had a light musty, unpleasant smell. My party got the tomato and tonkatsu broth. I found the meat quality to be good and the farmers market options to be good as well although variety is a bit limited. The curry was a nice addition to the meal. I think the meal and service was good for the price. I'll probably return with friends.

Yelp
We had the hotpot dinner buffet. Shabu shabu + sukiyaki soup based. Meats are fresh and in good quality, not many side dishes options but still in good quality. Service is great. Waiters are friendly. The environment is spacious.

Yelp
I have always come to Mo-Mo Paradise ever since they opened. Probably more than 30 times. But as of today, I will never ever come back here again. Before, I always enjoyed eating here and the service was exceptional. Today, the service was the poorest and rudest ever. We made a reservation at 8:45 pm for the party of 2. We got to the restaurant at 8:35ish and was seated right away. We did wait for 10 minutes for the server, Christopher, to take our order which is not a problem at all. The first interaction was same as usual. As we were enjoying the meal, I had a thought that server does not come around to ask how the food is nor even taking empty plates. At 9:13 pm, we were ready to place a second round of meat. As we tried to find the server, we finally got his attention. My first question, "Can we order more meat?" Christopher said, "We are very limited on the meat now, we stopped slicing the meat." and he added, "you guys should've not made a reservation at 8:45, we don't recommend it". We were confused. In fact, Mo-Mo Paradise does accept reservation up to 9pm on Open Table. As I have been manager at a restaurant for 4 years before and still in service industry, I would've not personally say that to a customer. He could've approached by saying, "I would like to inform that our kitchen is closing soon and the last order would be at 9:30". And I did make sure to check the time when he mentioned that they have stopped slicing the meat which was 9:18pm. As I informed him that I need a minute to think, he walked away and told one of his coworkers "THEY (referring us) HAVE AN ATTITUDE". At first, I thought I misheard it and I wished. However, the other table who were next to our table even heard it. At that point, I lost interest dining in here. I did have to ask for the manager to come up. We explained the whole situation and he looked confused also. The manager also mentioned that they are still slicing the meat and the last call is at 9:30pm. The manager did apologize and offered military discount. However, I did not wish to accept any offers from this place at that moment because of Christopher's service. I did ask for a check with full price. One of the server, a lady, she did bring us the check and apologized also, which was nice of her and she did her best to make us feel better. I still did declined the military offer. If I could give 0 star for it, I would definitely do. Nothing is against the restaurant. Don't get me wrong, the food is great and dining experience WAS nice too. As Mo-Mo Paradise website mentioned on their career page, "ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members" was definitely not accomplished with Christopher. Goodbye Mo-Mo Paradise.

Yelp
Momo paradise is now my favorite place to get hot pot in the South Bay Area! It's AYCE hot pot and they have a ton of different variety of meat and veggies. They have a buffet area where you can get different types of veggies, greens, noodles, and rice. It's seriously the best. They also have an area for Japanese curry but I only have room in my stomach for hot pot lol. They have different type of meat but my go to is the beef chuck eye and the beef short plate. That was recommended by the server and I could eat so many orders of that. You also get the option to choose two different soup base, and I love that! My favorite base for meat and udon is the sukiyaki but if I want to drink soup, then I like the option to switch to the tonkotsu. It's lighter and less salty! They also have a drink station where you can get unlimited and different types of drinks/soda if you're into that. After dinner, you get an order of ice cream too. It's not too expensive for what you get, especially if you order a lot too. Dinner is $34.95 per person and lunch is $25.95. I would recommend getting a reservation and you can easily do that online. This place is so good and I can't wait to come back again!

Yelp
No complaints! This was one of the better places we ate at during our trip to Cali. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will gladly come back.

Yelp
We came for lunch on a Friday, and the wait was short. They had a small help yourself area for veggies and noodles and some sauces, and you can order the meats from the menu. There wasn't a huge selection for the buffet section, but meats were fresh and good quality. Service was quick with the meats and refills for soup. We chose the tonkatsu and shabu shabu soups, and both were flavorful and delicious! Prices were good for ayce and the quality of meat that we got. I liked that you can get ice cream at the very end too. However, when I eat hot pots, I usually like more variety in my pot, like fishballs, squid, tofu skins, and their buffet section was very limiting. However, if you're all about the meats, then you'll likely like this place.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a sunday and mindlessly kept eating for a whole hour! I've tried Momo's in Arcadia which was super yummy, and this location was just as good! The service was fast and attentive, and the restaurant was somewhat filled but the volume wasn't too loud. The bar with hot pot additions is always so good--my roommate LOVES the curry they have available. We even make curry udon/rice with it! Love going here

Yelp
AYCE shabu shabu! It's $35 per person. After drinks, taxes & tips, it was $60 pp We had 5 people so we got two pots, two flavors per pot: tonkatsu and original shabu. the Tonkatsu was more flavorful, as expected. For the meats, we got all the beef and pork, and skipped the chicken. The brisket and pork belly were our favorites. Overall a fun interactive experience. The staff is very nice. I like it and recommend this place! They do get very busy so make sure you make reservations!
