Food was OK.. I had the Mac & oxtails.. they gave me the smallest/ meat less 3 oxtails known to man Btw. My date had jerk chicken in which he enjoyed. I had a drink $15 & got a shot in which was $15.. $15 for a shot of rum is totally insane and it’ll be the reason I never return there. ( and it wasn’t even a full shot LOL) It’s my fault for not asking the price of the shot of rum but in the same breath they know that is so shady! Place was dead too. About 6 people included us was there on a Friday. TOOK THE FOOD FOREVERRRRR to come out. We literally was about to pay for my drink/ shot & leave.. I will add the place is nice. Loved the music & the ceilings. They did a great job designing x

My tab was $142. Sat at the bar. Grat was included. Took 1 bite out of Mac ad cheese not great. But I stop eating once I notice my chicken had a rubbery texture . And was undercooked. The server seen this.but nothing was done. I don’t like to cause problems and I paid full price no problem. Give them a try. But be mindful. But for what I spent … I wouldn’t come back .

I have visited this restaurant on four separate occasions, and each time I’ve been impressed by the service. The servers and bartenders exude warmth and professionalism, creating the kind of atmosphere where it’s clear they enjoy being there. On my most recent visit, I was greeted by a newly renovated space—an elevated take on what was already a scenic setting. The updated design leans into a more natural, luxurious aesthetic, with comfortable seating and a subtle yet thoughtful use of Jamaican flag colors. The bar remains as inviting as ever, complemented by a variety of dining areas, from cozy two-top tables to lounge-style seating ideal for larger groups. The saltfish fritters alone are enough to keep me coming back. Crisp, golden, and irresistible, they are masterfully paired with a tangy mayonnaise-based sauce that elevates them beyond a simple appetizer—I often wish they were offered as a main dish. The oxtail taco is a clever concept, though for me, the true depth of oxtail shines brightest alongside rice and peas. Their traditional oxtail with rice and peas is satisfying, though not especially memorable for those well-acquainted with Jamaican cuisine. The curry mutton fares similarly—tender, falling easily off the bone, but somewhat lacking in distinction. By contrast, the jerk pork leans heavily into heat. For spice enthusiasts, its fiery bite may be a highlight; however, those seeking a balance between smokiness, seasoning, and texture may find the pepper overwhelming. The cabbage is straightforward but dependable, while the mac and cheese offers a pleasant surprise: a crisp, golden crust giving way to a soft, well-seasoned interior. On the beverage side, the Bob Marley cocktail is as vibrant as its namesake, with layers of sweetness masking the alcohol in a refreshing, icy blend. The mango mocktail is enjoyable, though a thicker consistency would have rounded it out more successfully. Visually, the presentation is thoughtful and clever: each dish is adorned with a miniature Jamaican flag toothpick—a simple detail that instantly ties the dining experience to the culture it celebrates. While prices trend on the higher side, the setting and overall aesthetic justify the cost. This is a restaurant well worth visiting at least once, if only to immerse yourself in the atmosphere—and to experience the standout saltfish fritters, which remain the star of the menu.

The food was amazing!!! Definitely try the Jerk Chicken it is the perfect amount of spice and so flavorful. Also the oxtail flatbread 😩😩😩 I will definitely be back. The drinks are strong and the music is a vibe. 10/10!

Oh man did I want to love this place but it missed the mark by MILES. The Good: The bartender that served us (she had light greenish eyes) was awesome. Attentive, funny, and had a smile on the whole time. The buildout, music, and overall vibes were impressive. The Bad: Food took 45 minutes and the restaurant was maybe 40% capacity on a Friday night. (Should’ve been my indicator to leave) Our bartender had to go help out in the kitchen just to get our order out. Asked another bartender for pepper sauce and she replied “could take another hour”, and then she never brought the sauce. Ended up asking a waitress walking by to bring it. Food was mediocre ate best. The oxtail was tender but lacked depth/flavor, and was served to me just above room temperature. Overall, wasn’t nearly worth the money spent. I hope the bartender who served us finds a place where she is set up for success because this place is not it.

I loved the food, atmosphere and service. The menu has several things I want to try, I'll be back. If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, Mobay Spice is the place. Excellent!!!

Our service was great! The ambience breath taking. Appetizers were a hit... Recommend the fritters, oxtail tacos, and scotch bonnet wings. Our party was large and they enjoyed the Mac and cheese ( seafood and lobster), lamb chops as well as the steamed fish. Lamb could have been cooked a tad longer, the sauce mixed with the sweet potatoes was good, alone not so. However we ordered a to go plate of stewed fish and it was a bit under cooked and we ran into a few scale bits, the festival was missing, but the rice was amazing. The over all the experience was something I would do again; but I wouldn't order anything to carry out. Just would suggest to pay more attention to detail. Better experience dining in.

Food presentation is excellent. My wife wanted to try the spot out for her birthday. I didn’t know you can just walk in and dine without reservations but it’s cool. I guess business hasn’t picked up yet because it was empty when we got there. The place is great for a one on one date night or girls night out to take pictures to post for IG and social media. 18% gratuity already added even if you are by yourself. The food was good but not worth the price. If you are from the islands or Jamaica it’s nothing like home. All in all it’s a nice place to make a person feel special.

Last night I got in town late but wanted Jamaican food and Mobay Spice was the closest option. We ordered at the bar to go and the ambiance was nice. I could see myself returning just to sit at bar. There were multiple tvs and great music. The person who took our order was very polite and fast. I ordered the Rasta pasta with salmon, coco bread, and sweet plantains. My husband ordered the jerk burger and fries. Our food was very hot, fresh, spicy and delicious. I forgot to take pictures because I ate it way too fast. I just hoffhofffhoff-ed because it was very hot, even after the drive home. My nose and eyes were watering from the pasta, 10's across the board.

I ordered takeout from MoBay Spice and was really impressed with how clean and classy the space looked when I stopped in. The décor feels elevated and modern, and the music was playing at a nice, chill volume. The customer service was also great, friendly and attentive even for a to go order. We tried the Salmon Rasta Pasta and the Oxtail Rasta Pasta. Both dishes had a nice kick and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The protein portions were on the smaller side though. The flavor was there, but it felt like it needed a bit more depth. It wasn't bland by any means, just missing that extra layer of saucy island flavor that would've taken it over the top.

Deeelish!!! I can't even begin to pretend to be an authority on Jamaican authentic cuisine, but what I can say is that this place was super damn tasty. The portions were a good size, and it was super fun to order a few dishes and share them! So happy I finally tried this local spot. Excited to go back! We went at lunchtime and got in and out smoothly within the hour. Service was decent.

The restaurant is decorated very well and the seats are so comfy. My friend and I had an amazing time. The food was affordable and also really good. I enjoyed the beef empanadas as well as the jerk pork. Our server was great as well.

Ok Mobay Spice this rice and peas and jerk chicken was on point!! I didn't realize the restaurant was back open for sit down so I went for takeout. It looks nice inside and I'd definitely return for a sit down meal. I was craving some back home fried chicken but that's not on the menu, so I had the jerk chicken instead. The rice and peas was exactly how it is in Jamaica, and the jerk chicken was very good. Generous servings as well, I had left overs.

I've passed this place on occasions when they're closed but I had time today and stopped in for lunch. Immediately I walked into a tranquil Caribbean atmosphere with the decor, the music and smell of good food. Not a large place but just the right size for a bar and several tables. I was greeted with a welcome in & told to sit where I want. I chose to sit at the front by the window to get a view of everything. I was on my lunch hour so I opted for the jerk chicken tacos and a side of fried plantain. No cocktail today - just water. I did see other patrons drinking and enjoying their libations. Presentation was excellent and my food came out quickly. The flavors were delicious, a side of jerk sauce for some extra spice and my plantains were served hot out the pan. Overall, Ashante was a great server who provided some conversation and asked if I'd give a review - of course! I stayed a little while to work after my table was cleared and the lunch rush came to a close. The tunes were on point with a mix of old and new reggae hits. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu for date nights.

This review is long overdue! Sorry Neirah! You and the entire staff were amazing. The food and customer service was a 10/10 experience! My friend & I ordered family style, so we shared the Oxtail Tacos, The Rasta Pasta, & the Curry Shrimp ... let me tell you, not a single flaw in their recipe! The food came out just right, from the seasoning, to the spice level, to the texture ... Mobay Spice has it down to a science! I used to live in New York City so my standards for good Jamaican food are pretty high & Mobay Spice exceeded my expectations. Easily the best Caribbean restaurant I've been to thus far in Atlanta! Keep being awesome guys! & once again, special thanks to Neirah! You were amazing & I hope to see you all back again soon!

I'd been looking forward to trying Mobay Spice for a while and decided to stop in for lunch recently. The restaurant is fairly "cozy" and has a few high tops outside. I ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender was very attentive. I browsed the menu prior to arriving and knew exactly what I wanted to order. I chose the rum punch for my beverage, mango habanero wings for an appetizer and oxtail with rice and peas for my entree. The rum punch was good and strong. The wings were ok, but I was expecting the flavors to be more bold. The oxtail platter was a generous portion, but lacked flavor and could've been more tender. The rice and peas were bland as well and the cabbage was ok. While I did enjoy my time here, I can't say that I would return because I can't justify the price. It was over $80 with tax and tip for myself and the lack of flavors just didn't warrant such high prices.

Ok...giving an updated review. I been here a few times now and each time it does not disappoint. Food is really good. I've had the oxtails and jerk lamb chops. Both were soooo good. Not even exaggerating. The drinks are good and definitely well mixed. I've had the Bob Marley (frozen), rum punch and love language. Staff is always welcoming and attentive. Music is always nice and not overly loud. Will continue to come back!

Great tasting food. I'm Jamaican & not every Caribbean restaurant knows how to cook good Oxtail but this one definitely has my approval. My husband got the brown stew chicken and had no complaints. We plan to come back on a Sunday for brunch. The restaurant had good reggae music playing & the service was good.

I have had this place on my radar for a minute. They have been in toco hills for a year. I plan to be back all spring and summer. Food, music, vibe, service, staff spectacular. As an island gyal myself I stand behind this spot. Don't change anything, Mobay. Folks I was with thoroughly enjoyed themself as well. Parking in toco hills plaza maybe a little tricky. But let's be honest, we could all do with getting our steps in. I love that the staff don't rush you. And ask you what kind of water. Far too many times places will give you there $10 water bottle as the only option. Food came out hot and plentiful. Weekends they have a great brunch menu. And, and, and the cocktails are solid.

4.4/5 Food: Met a friend here for happy hour. I ordered the rum punch which was pretty good and I ordered the brown stew chicken as is and it was definitely top 3 that I've tried. The chicken was tender and the sauce was very nice. The rice & peas were just okay and the veggies could have used a lil extra something. My friend ordered the jerk salmon w/ veggies and fries. She really liked her meal and loved the taste of the fries. We both left satisfied with what we had. Service: I arrived earlier than my friend and the waitress was very nice and patient. I actually had about 3 drinks before my friend. Once she arrived, the waitress gave her time to look over the menu and order. She gave great recommendations and was accommodating to any special food requests. Ambiance: Very cute spot, decent amount of seating but not enough for a super large party. But still good enough for a night out w/ friends, date night, or just a casual outing. Sits in a popular plaza so plenty of parking.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Main criticism is the cabbage was very bland. Lacked any seasoning. The restaurant is very small, with a couple of tables and chairs outside. Overall, quality of food was tasty. The staff is nice. Decor is island vibes.

This was my first time at this venue. It is on the first floor of a strip mall and you won't be able to see it until you are in the parking lot. I sat at the bar. The bartender was great. Very talkative and made great recommendations. I ordered the Oxtails with rice & peas, and cabbage. I got my oxtails extra spicy and that was an experience. The oxtails tasted great and I could really taste the spice. Rice and peas were cooked to perfection. The cabbage was great also. I ate all of it. The waitress talked me into getting the Black Cake. It tasted great as well. I really like the rum sauce.

I did not like that there was around 18-20% gratuity already included on the bill. I wish that was transparent on the menu because we were surprised at the end, especially that they still ask for more tips in their portable card machine. Went here since our school was highly promoting this establishment at our orientation week. We received 10% off student discount on our total bill (which was split between each person, not offered separately). We got the oxtails and their famous tropical juice. The food and drinks we got were good. Overall, this restaurant was air conditioned, aesthetic, and easy to find, which was nice.

It was Friend Day Out and Mobay Spice was the restaurant of choice. I'm so glad it's in the Toco Hills Plaza as there is ample parking... Upon walking in, the space is very quaint. There is a nice vibe to the overall ambiance and the overall feel is very inviting and pleasant. After taking in the ambiance we headed to the table for 4 as it is a seat yourself type of setup. Though the space isn't wide, they did a great job with positioning the table and chairs to ensure you don't feel crowded. Our waitress greeted us with a warm welcome and menus as soon as we sat down. As I am a lover of Jamaican Food, I was super excited at all the classic offerings and intrigued by such offerings as the Jerk Burger... say whaaaaaaaat! As the waitress arrived back a few moments later, perfect timing I might add I was ready to order. I ordered a Beef Patty as my appetizer and the Jerk Salmon Entree. I swapped out the potatoes that come with the entree for the rice and peas. As we were waiting for our food, the music kept us upbeat and made for such a dope space of engagement. All of the staff who encountered us smiled and spoke which was such a great service experience. Kudos to the team. Once the food came it was an immediate OhMyGosh Moment! The plating was beautiful and the food looked Bombbbbbbb. Beef Patty - classic patty. The meat was well seasoned. The crust was flaky and buttery. The quality of the meat was spot on and there wasn't any fat or gristle. Very good dish and perfect pick for an appetizer. Jerk Salmon - Two Words... More Please!!!!! The salmon was meaty and moist. It was perfectly grilled without being dry or overdone. The Jerk sauce wasn't overpowering and allowed for the fish to still be the draw while holding its own. The flavor profile of the seasoning used on the fish paired well with the flavor excitement of the jerk sauce. Furthermore, the jerk sauce wasn't too spicy as it allowed for you to truly enjoy and savor the flavors presented. Rice and Peas - One Word... FRESH!!!! I mean a different level of freshness. The rice tasted like freshly cooked rice. The peas were authentic and perfectly done. The combination of them as one was moutpleasingly outstanding. Again, neither outshined the other. Each of them held their own and they were married together so well. Great flavor and again, amazing freshness. Steamed Cabbage - Ooh Chile! This cabbage was different. I think it's the way it was shredded or something because babeeeeeeeeee. This was some of the best cabbage I have had in my whole life. Fresh. Seasoned. Not too hard. Not too soft. And the peppers just put what was already great even greater. I literally had to stop my waitress and tell her to tell the waiter he showed awffffffff with this. LoL!!!! As you can tell, my Mombay Spice experience was amazing. Not only will I be back, I already know what I'm going to order.

I stopped by to order takeout and the customer service was phenomenal. I only had the salt fish fritters but they were seasoned to perfection. The inside is very aesthetically pleasing. It's located in a large plaza so there is ample parking. I have been told that this place gets packed during the lunch hour so be aware of that. Overall, I can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Wow! What a great discovery today. Somebody had a taste for Oxtails and since it was his Birthday I searched - and found this Gem. When you walk in you're greeted warmly and made to feel most welcome - since it's been snowing and cold the last couple of days it wasn't terribly busy. The decor felt great - took me back to Negril and the fun we had there a few months ago - feels nice to sit back relax and enjoy a cocktail. There is a nice Island cocktail menu - I had a "Wynter Breeze" (Rosemary Vodka, Casamigos, lime juice and Ginger ale) it was cool and refreshing, just right for today and a perfect accompaniment to my delicious creamy Rasta Pasta - I added Jerk chicken and what a "smack" just the right amount of spice, with fresh peppers and broccoli- I would most definitely get it again. My partner had Oxtails with Rice and peas and steamed cabbage. I tasted his too and it was delicious- he loved it - the awesome thing about the food was not only was it delicious it looked beautiful too....we eat with our eyes first after all. This is must visit when you're feeling that island vibe, or anytime really- looking forward to a return visit.

The food was great and the service was just ok. The ambience upon walking in was esthetically pleasing! We were greeted with a warm hello and were told that we could sit wherever we wanted. Took some time for our waitress to take our orders but it was worth it. We ordered the Rum Punch during happy hour which were delicious but a little too sweet but $5 drinks were a win! The only con about this place is slow service but we understood because they are a new restaurant and need to find a good flow. 4 stars only because service was a little slow. I will be visiting again soon.

We Tip Toed In and Fell In Love. We decided to try this little place and oh my we are still talking about it five days later. We decided to order off the Bar Menu because we were dining a little later in the day and had dinner plans. We ordered the Jerk Chicken Tacos and the Jerk Pork Sliders and one of the fresh drinks of the day which was Passion Fruit. A larger glass with a small amount of ice and a LOT of fresh Passion Fruit juice was delivered. It was really tasty...best we have ever had. We expected small portions of "Bar Food" and were totally surprised when they arrived...they were huge. The Jerk Chicken Tacos were stuffed with so much jerk chicken and tomatoes, onion, peppers and an amazing mango salsa. All of the tastes melded together into perfection. They were served with a side of jerk sauce which made them really spicy. It had such a good flavor. The Jerk Pork Sliders were equally as good. They were huge. Served on excellent brioche buns perfectly toasted and filled with goodness. The jerk pork was delicious even tasted by itself. But the smoked Gouda cheese and the tangy slaw enhanced the whole little package. Service was outstanding by all of the staff. Each helped out when one was busy. Great team work. Prices are excellent for the size and quality of the food. Can't wait to try their entrees. Highly recommend. ..

The service was outstanding! I went alone and the bartender offered to take my pictures in the back where there is a selfie backdrop area! The servers were super nice and personable! I went for Sunday brunch. Loved them! The Ambience is so cute with pictures of Jamaican artists on the wall, a cute light that says dancehall leading into the hallway and the picture station in then back was perfect because who doesn't love taking pics! The food was a 10! I got the chicken and waffles JUST for the presentation on my first visit because I truly wanted to get the escovich but I couldn't pass up the experience of this chicken on a pole and the waffles. Chicken was fried to perfection. The waffles were good and the rum sauce was on point too! Definitely didn't disappoint. I would recommend this place for the vibes, ambience, music, and of course the food. I was recommended to come back during the week to try the regular menu which I hear is most popular.

I hate to give it average but that's what I thought of the food and service. The server was very nice but her service was lacking. As a person coming from a West Indian background I am very confused as to why adding pineapple to items cause them to be Caribbean. We got the jerk chicken tacos, I got the Rasta pasta with jerk chicken and my bf got the Rasta pasta with jerk shrimp. The server forgot to put in my entrée and said it would come out quickly but it didn't come out as quickly as I was hoping. Also I was a bit worried about one of the pieces of chicken as it didn't look cooked all the way, so I put it to the side instead of eating it. The pasta dish itself was just ok to me. The dish had a sweetest Alfredo ish taste which I personally didn't care for. The decor of the place was very nice and our drink of the day was refreshing. Would I go back, not sure. I think there are a lot of other Jamaican or West Indian restaurants to try from.

When I walked into this little island restaurant, I felt like I was in Jamaica. The ambiance was intimate, simple, and chic. The music was upbeat and had me moving in my seat. Customer Service was excellent. The staff was super friendly, our waitress was attentive and our drinks and food came out fast. My husband and I both ordered drinks. The cocktail menu had the cutest drink names, kinda reminded me of being on a resort on the beach. I had the Beach Body, the cup it came in was so cute and the drink was yummy. My husband had the Love Language, which came in an equally cute cup with a pair of heart sunglasses. His drink was tasty, but he preferred a more masculine cup. We both ordered the Jerk chicken that came with veggies, rice & peas, and plantain. My entire meal was cooked to perfection. The jerk chicken was so good , nice and spicy. We ordered 2 slices of Rum cake to go. The Rum cake was moist and worth every carb, definitely on my top 5 list. Mobay Spice is a great addition to the area. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food, look no further.

Monday spice is such a fun addition to the toco hills complex! They are open for brunch on Sundays which is what my partner and I went for! The ambiance makes you feel like you're in the Lucious Jamaica! They also have a TV where they were playing a futbol game for people to watch! The food was so so yummy! My partner got the OCHO RIOS OMELETTE 17- Stuffed with peppers, onions, cheddar cheese and your choice of bacon, sausage or jerk chicken and I got the OXTAILS AND GRITS 29- Rich juicy, bold flavor oxtails served over southern style cheesy grits. We didn't get any drinks but the food was great and prepared so nicely seasoned and cute with the Jamaican flags on it lol! The waitress was so kind and helpful and we will definitely be back! It was pricier but worth it bc oxtail is expensive in general and we have to treat ourselves sometimes

As a Jamaican I'm so excited to have this restaurant right around the corner from me. Most of the authentic places are further out, and most other Caribbean places around aren't Caribbean owned or have become a little too commercial. This place hit the mark. The decor is beach's but elegant, they did a good job organizing the tables in a small space. The bar is expansive and the menu has tons of options. You HAVE to try the pineapple ginger juice, I would buy it by the gallon, I think I drank three in the hour that I was there. As a Vegan for brunch I had the plantains, dumplings, and festival. They were hot, crispy and delicious. I came back for dinner the next week and had rice and peas, and cabbage -- the portions were plenty, we all had plenty of leftovers. All of the staff are very attentive, food arrives quickly. There's lots of nice places for photos -- they are closed in mondays, but I could see it being a good place for a birthday dinner. Prices were reasonable (especially if you order from the bar menu) and will definitely be back

I dined here for lunch with some coworkers. We booked reservations but decided to sit at the bar. Upon being seating, we walked into a very clean and friendly establishment. Everyone spoke with a smile on their faces. I started off with a beef patty, that didn't make it to a picture. Loved it! I decided to order the Rasta pasta with jerk shrimp. The pasta was good, the jerk seasoning wasn't too spicy. My pasta was also a pretty big portion. I ordered a few drinks; a rum punch, lemon drop, and pink flamingo. All made to perfection. Overall good experience, and I plan on going back to see what brunch is like!

Hmm this place was pretty good. Be warned they tack on a 18% service charge but the server did not communicate this and my party ended up over tipping 20% on top of the total plus 18% gratuity honestly that rubbed me the wrong way and felt deceived for the lack of communication on the menu and server. The service was kind of slow and it took 15-20 mins to get our food. The food was good the goat was tender the jerk was too saucy but man I had to go to the toilet afterwards it really cleaned me out if you know what I mean. Inside it looked nice and seemed like a fun spot for happy hour and maybe some late night vibes but kind of small hotdog shaped restaurant.

Food was 10s across the board, restaurant was super clean and service was great!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Mediocre flavor and bland. Lacked authentic Jamaican spices. Great location, though. Was able to shop around.

Grabbed takeout brown stew chicken. Service was good. Lots of people enjoying brunch and drinks. Chicken was good though I've had better. Expensive for Jamaican food.

This is a small quaint Jamaican restaurant with Caribbean vibes! I had the oxtail Rasta pasta as an entree and I tried the jerk chicken tacos as an appetizer! The jerk chicken tacos were good with just the right amount of jerk spice, but baby that Rasta pasta was amazing! 10 out of 10 would recommend, I would go back again

Show this place on Instagram and had to check them out . I had there oxtail Taco , they were so good , I loved that they added mango and a spices sauce which took the Tacos up to the next level . The seafood macaroni was every cheese I wish it had a little more meat however; it was still good . I had their signature drink love language that came with a cute pair of shades. I'm sooo aggravated! Just went here on my lunch break and ordered curry chicken with white rice! It's on my ticket and the lady that took my order confirmed it! I get all the way back to work and they gave me curry over rice and peas. the rice is sooo disgusting I can't even eat the chicken! And to top it all off the manager get on the phone acting stupid asking can I bring it back to exchange it ! No I can't because yall just wasted my time! I'm pissed after spending almost $30 on this crap! Update: They called me only after I made this review to offer what could have been offered in the beginning! Please don't get on this internet trying to save face because while I was upset I never used profanity once! This is a lie and I know you read my review because you quoted things from the review! It's no big deal because I would never eat here again! And the quality of your food doesn't matter if it's not what I ordered! So please stop with the lies! And please stop calling harassing me because I'm not taking down my honest review! And yes after you've called me for the 3rd time I said STOP CALLING MY DAMN PHONE! No I wouldn't trust y'all to feed my dog at this point! This could've been resolved without a negative review if you would've offered a solution before the review! You only offered a solution after the review was made! And please don't make me upload the voice recording because I recorded all 3 calls! I suggest you just leave me alone! Because if your food is as good as you say this review shouldn't hurt your restaurant! But Monday I will be on the line with the health department and whomever else! Came in on Sunday around noon, so smack in the middle of the brunch time. The place itself has 9-11 tables so it's a cozy feel which also means it can only seat so many at a time. Our wait was about 25-30 mins and we were asked to wait outside bc of the tight space, which wasn't an issue because it was a beautiful day. The music is characteristic Jamaican reggae vibes and the decor itself is really nice. They have pictures of prominent Jamaican artists on the wall to the bathroom and this selfie wall area they have. Their rum punch is AMAZING and was $5/each all day when we came, so we had multiple (of course). I ordered the Ocho Rios omelette with jerk chicken and my hubs had their brown stew chicken. We waited about half hour for our food to come out, which is honestly the only reason this place doesn't get a full five stars. The stew chicken was SO good. It has a bit of a kick to it, spice wise, but it works with the meal so well. The rice was cooked perfectly too. The omelette was ok, not enough veggies inside for my liking especially for the price. I got the chicken on the side because I wasn't sure about the spice, but it was milder than the stew to be honest and I definitely would've been fine getting it inside. Overall this place is great and the flavors were on point minus the wait. They include gratuity (18%) so no math needed on your part. I might try and come back during the week just to try something on the full menu.

I'm so conflicted to write this review. I love this place!!! Probably one of my secret favorites in Atlanta, and now I'm telling you about it. Food is amazing... drinks amazing... staff is friendly! Small and intimate, so sometimes I have to sit at the bar - which I actually prefer. If they're super busy, take out is an option... and surprisingly that's a hefty portion of food. Always a good vibe - never been a miss!

10/10 service. Charlie was great, food was good and it was a vibe! I like a place with a good playlist and theirs was spot on. Music wasn't too loud either like a lot of these other spots. I'll definitely be back!

Ashanti is the best!!!! She has customer service on lock! I love this place! The size is small but the character and charm of this island styled restaurant is larger than life! The drinks are the absolute best in the area! Please eat something to soak up the liquor. They have vegetarian options for those with dietary restrictions. It definitely gives you a bold look into island cuisine if you're not not used to island food.

The food was good! I've been one time but he tried a lot of food there like the wings, burgers, etc. the space itself was really clean, fun, and engaging. The food took a while to come out, and ordering was the same but when she did come she was very pleasant.
