Off the Grid Is Unlikely to Relaunch Any of Its Food Truck Events in 2021 | Eater SF

"I learned that Igor Teplitsky and Anna Partizanka have stowed away their Russian food truck, Borsch Mobile, for the entirety of the pandemic; they have continued working with Off the Grid to provide meals through San Francisco's Great Plates program to help keep the business afloat, but they say the truck will remain parked "until everything goes back to normal," calling the usual event scene effectively dead for now." - Luke Tsai

Don't use this company, they have terrible business practices. In the lease they make you liable for all vehicle maintenance even if you don't make it to your destination. Their lease includes fi e print that makes it auto renew for a year without 90 day notice and they don't tell you about it until after it's renewed. We got a truck and the engine blew before we got to Tahoe and their manager wanted us to stay put for their mechanic. 3 hours later they tell us the mechanic can't make it because of a blizzard. But they wanted us to stay and wait in it? They have a 30 day grace period for paying rent, but by the time we got the truck home it had been 40 days.
