Where to Eat and Drink Near Mt. Hood, Oregon | Eater Portland

"This nautical-themed coffee roaster is one of the best in the Hood River valley, featuring beans roasted onsite in Parkdale. The roaster’s coffee shop in an unassuming garage off Parkdale’s main road is a fun spot for seasonal lattes and espresso — things like cinnamon hazelnut breves or caramel mochas. The shop also sells a handful of pastries for a quick breakfast."

Perfect banana bread and delicious lavender coffee! A great way to start the day in a stylish space with friendly staff and a view of Mt. Hood from the porch. It’s a cozy spot to relax and ease into the morning. We left energized and ready for a short hike nearby—caffeine and carbs did their job!

Some of the best coffee I've had in a while. And their spiced donuts were amazing. Cute little coffee shop with indoor / outdoor seating.

Coffee was pretty good and the view is gorgeous! The girl at the register could use a bit more accuracy, my order came out wrong but was easily fixed. My breakfast burrito was a little disappointing for 8 dollars. I couldn't really taste the bacon, it was pretty bland, and the paper was so stuck to it I gave up and ate some of the stuck on bits *shrug* Overall this place scratched the coffee itch I needed it to. The coffee is smooth and worth it. I do think this place is missing specials, but maybe I just missed it or no one mentioned it to me.

Hidden gem! The coffee and pastries are lovely, but we were very impressed with how the space was repurposed. It's cosy with antique seafaring elements, but clean and comfortable. We weren't planning to stay, but it's so cute that we hung out for a while and watched people come and go. We'll visit again.

Mobys is a great stop for coffee, drinks and pastries or breakfast items. The customer service is always wonderful, the prices are very reasonable and the drinks are tasty. One thing I’ve noticed is that for some of their iced coffee drinks, they use coffee ice cubes!! Genius!! They also don’t charge for milk substitutes which is appreciated. Love getting to support this local shop.

We absolutely love Moby, one of our favorite coffee shops ever. We got married across the street at the Red Barn Park and have fond memories of coming to Moby. Their coffee and pastries are delish. Wonderful costumer service too. Always look forward to our visit when we are in the area. My daughter loves the little play area for kids. They ship beans and I asked if they also ship merchandise and they were communicative and efficient. Thanks Moby!

I am writing this review post solely about the coffee. My fiancee and I stayed at Cooper Spur Resort and were introduced to the coffee during our stay with a complementary bag to brew in our room. When I brought the coffee back out to the car, her and I both remarked at home aromatic is was. We were eager to brew it the following morning. It certainly did not disappoint. The coffee was not bitter and was so incredibly smooth. We wanted to drive down to Parkdale to get some more coffee on our way back home but due to it being New Year's Day, the shop was closed. We both placed orders for the Cooper Spur roast as it will always remind us of our wonderful stay at Cooper Spur Resort. We hope to make it to the actual shop soon, by the pictures it looks so cozy and inviting. I hope to make it out there sooner on one of my trips to Mt Hood. Try the coffee, it does not disappoint and will leave you longing for more.

The best iced vanilla latte. Beans are house roasted. Their house drip coffee is chemex pour overs and is fantastic 😍 Breakfast burritos and meat pies are great way to start the morning. Sweets are usually sourced from East Fork Baking Company and are delicious.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, and I don't love coffee but the iced Carmel mocha was great and service great. I will definitely come back next time in Hood River and nearby.

Yelp
Mt Hood Parkdale has a secret coffee store. And not only that it's a cute and very unique place. I've been going to Mt Hood for about four years now and JUST NOTICED this place. They have a very very tiny store front sign on the main road - which is often overlooked. The place is behind the only gas pump in town next to the laundry mat. I just happened to pump gas and then wandered back there to then turn around when I noticed this place. Parking is easy and it seems this place is known to the local community but not to visitors of Mt Hood Parkdale.

Yelp
8oz cappuccino and sausage/pepper Jack hand pie. Perfect combo for the mountain. Don't pass on those hand pies!!

Yelp
What a sweet spot! Delicious coffee, friendly staff, and the iced Americano even came with ice cubes made of coffee! Plus, she made me my favorite drink (half decaf cortado) even though it wasn't on the menu. The bacon and cheese croissant is literally the best one of its kind I've ever had. Dense and full on the inside, surrounded by a doughy croissant w a light crust. 6 out of 5 stars if that's possible. :) So glad to have discovered this hidden gem in Parkdale!

Yelp
Love Moby Coffee and their new coffee shop! They roast their own super high quality organic beans and a lot of their milk is organic too. Shop owner and barista, Jessica is very friendly and talented. Many drink options available and tons of space to spread out and sit comfortably. I'm so happy to have an organic coffee shop right here in downtown Parkdale.

Yelp
Cute little place with delicious breakfast snacks (we got the bacon hand pies and they were AMAZING!) I also got a dirty chai that was great! Definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Everything about this place is a "yes." The owner. The location. The interior. The coffee.

Yelp
I love Moby. Great tasting coffee and comfortable friendly place. The barista is so welcoming. Yummy pastries too, but the coffee and Jessica is what brings me in.
