Moby Dick House of Kabobs North Bethesda

I had such a great experience at Moby Dick Kabob in North Bethesda! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly — you can really taste the quality in every bite. On top of that, the service was outstanding. Manager Jose went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel very welcome. It’s rare to find both delicious food and such genuine hospitality in one place. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service!

The food was really good, well seasoned, and tastes authentically Iranian! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the vibes were chill and quiet. I liked the Iranian songs playing in the background, luved the place. Definitely going back again.

A good restaurant with fresh and quality food. I had been deprived of the taste of real Iranian kebab for a long time! But here I experienced it again! I recommend this place to you too.

The usual high quality of food. It's a mystery how they do manage to be so consistent in cooking good meat meals, including across different locations. In contrast, they can not secure yet the same high consistency in delivery of services. This particular location in Rockville looks less efficient and less user-friendly compared to 3 others in neighborhood I visited in the past year or so.

We came in 15 before closing and the guy at the register told me to wait and see if they will make food for us 🤔. I said that they are still open, he was reluctant and acted like he was doing me a favor, even though I paid over $40. We did not like the service and food was ok. Not like Moby Dick it used to be. People are lazy and don’t want to work! Not coming back. Will go to to House of Kebab instead, better service.

In general, the food is great. Kabob is great. New sumac fries are not great just normal mushy fries.

First time eating here since it opened. We heard wonderful things about the place from many people and it definitely did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious food. We got takeout. Ended up just going in because their website was so glitchy, but we waited less than 15 minutes for the food on a very busy Friday night. Any restaurant that offers support for federal employees during a government shutdown furlough deserves a standing ovation and will have my support going forward! Thank you, Moby Dick, for offering free sandwiches to federal workers during this difficult time. My coworkers and I were the beneficiaries of complementary sandwiches during the last two weeks of the government shutdown, when we were not being paid. Moby Dick provided an amazing selection of sandwiches (all sandwiches on their menu). My grilled chicken sandwich had fluffy pita bread, nicely flavored and juicy grilled chicken, fresh lettuce and tomato, and a generous portion of tzatziki sauce. (I opted out out of the feta cheese that was offered.) The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly cooked, and there was no skimping on portion size. I also loved the complementary sumac packets. And most of all I just appreciate restauranteurs who are willing to support their local customers in difficult times. Thank you, Moby Dick, and I will be back! Easy plaza parking.

Ordered online with the app, but apparently there was a glitch that defaulted to removing most everything from the food, even after I spotted the error and corrected it. For example, the salad omitted everything but lettuce and the gyro omitted everything but the meet. The delivery guy spotted this also and tried to correct it, but the obnoxious employees would not budge to correct it. Had a rather bland meal.

Food was decent but it wasn't flavorful like the other locations. Just seemed like it was missing something but I don't know what. The cashier was super nice and gave me some extras but it was only because it took so long. The place is nice, clean, and freshly built. My and my child were satisfied so I don't have any real complaints. Parking lot is right out front so you shouldn't have a problem.

The food was well prepared and tasted well. I got the ground beef kebab over rice. It was about average for kebab places. There was plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of. The restaurant looked clean, which I appreciated. They had a couple of sections of the restaurant where they were selling retail prepackaged foods. None of the items had prices on them and I didn't feel like going up and asking the cashier how much each individual item cost so I ended up not buying any.

First order was delicious. Salmon kabob with rice and Moby salad Moby Dick's Combo 1 Kashk-o- Badmej We will be ordering from here again.

I've been a fan of Moby Dick for decades although mainly their down town Bethesda store. Dropped into this one yesterday for lunch only to be disappointed for the first time. I ordered a Gyro sandwich just as I often do only to find it looked nothing like I'm used to. A skinny wrap with little filling. Missing the fresh crunchy vegetables it normally has and wrapped in a piece of bread that was both flavorless and obviously undercooked.

Good food. Great portion. Their appetizer is a must try. (Wasn't able to take a picture) More than enough parking space.

This fast food restaurant was great until it started expanding. We ordered the chicken which was dry and tasteless. The salad included old , brown leaves.

Find them at the corner of Rockville Pike at Nicholson next to the 7-Eleven, I've had the chicken kebab with rice three times already , very happy with the Soft, moist lemony chicken with The perfect char around the edges. My wife has been ordering off the menu, but now is going for the specials which need to be ordered early in the day because they run out. I always thought with a name like Moby Dick that they were a seafood place, so I never went to the one in Wheaton. It was named after the epic story. They should've called it ahab's kabobs, Did you know that Starbuck is a character in Moby Dick?

The food is superb plus the service and the people are very accommodating and nice. If you are looking for a good persian food this is the place.

All meats are flavorful and delicious. The portions are generous. We have been customers of Moby Bethesda and Potomac location and are happy they are a walking distance away.
