On the Grid : MOCA London

"MOCA London or Museum of Contemporary Art London is a local project space in south London with a global focus. The space established itself in 2004 in an end terrace house on the Bellenden road and has been bringing exciting and emerging artists to London since 1994. The gallery works with both established and upcoming artists and gives the possibility of making noncommercial exhibitions. When we visited recently we saw Laurie Innes’ ‘Because They Can’, an interesting dynamic installation piece filling the space with light, colour and pattern." - Studio A4 E+F

14 Best Things to Do in Cape Town

"The Zeitz MOCAA is one of the most important new museums in the global art world: It's the first-ever major institution dedicated exclusively to artists from across the African continent and diaspora. It's also a must-see for architecture buffs; the building, a reimagining of an abandoned silo building, was designed by UK starchitect Thomas Heatherwick. The result is a soaring, sculptural marvel that really is a work of art in itself. It's modern and industrial, and Capetonians are rightly proud of the new landmark building." - Sarah Khan

Very good small contemporary art gallery in Bellenden Road about 5 minutes walk from Peckham Rye Station. We visited to see the Gloria Carlos exhibition which comprised some very interesting sculptural work. Free entry.
