The 10 Best Donut Shops In Philly

"Things you might overhear while walking through Rittenhouse Square: a heated debate about who is the strongest Avenger, pigeons fighting over crumbs, and people holding and eating ring-shaped mochi donuts. Mochi Ring is just a few blocks away from the park, and the light and airy donuts are topped with things like Fruity Pebbles, matcha glaze, and cinnamon sugar (and they all taste incredible, we checked). Aside from the donuts, you can get bubble tea and Korean rice hot dogs, in case your people-watching near the park becomes an all-day thing." - candis mclean

Google
Overall my experiences at Mochiatsu was amazing!! The donuts were absolutely delicious. I wanted to try everything on the menu , but there were too many options. The cashier was super nice. I saw a sign for Ube but it turns out they ran out. The cashier was super nice to offer a freshly made Ube w/coconut donut!!. I waited a couple minutes but it was worth it. fresh, sweet and chewy. it was delicious! as for the atmosphere, the environment was super chill and relaxing, perfect for grabbing a quick snack with friends. That said, the exterior isn't the most inviting. I almost thought it was closed because of the heavy metal gate. but once you're in the store, its cute and inviting- perfect for photo op or Instagram post. I'll definitely be coming back!

Google
Good selection of flavors for donuts! Their Pistachio flavor is so good! If you come here you have to try it at least once, the atmosphere is very comfy and the service is very friendly, they even help you out with good combination picks, good people in there.

Google
My oldest son dragged me here, and my expectations weren't too high. However, as soon as we walked in and saw the wide selection of pretty cute looking donuts, I was enchanted. The shop is adorably decorated with pastel color, and the ladies at the counter were patient and friendly. I tried their half and half hot dogs and took a whole dozens of donuts to indulge at home.

Google
wow what a tasty different treat ty🙏 loved them all! I got strawberry one! pistachio one and the s'mores💗😃 I just wish they put more marshmallows on the s'more one but no complaint🙆‍♀️🤗😎 so delicious & will be ordering again 🍩

Google
Donuts and drinks are ok but service is pretty bad. They advertise one price on their board and then after I order 5 different drinks/donuts, price on computer is different. After me asking why is the difference, I get response : those prices are wrong, computer is correct. And there is nothing they can do about. So if you don't want to be upcharged, don't go there. Wanted to enjoy nice snacks and had disappointing service experience.

Google
The donuts are not too sweet, my favorite ones are the coffee and s’mores. They have an interesting texture that does not feel heavy or sugary at all. The ambiance is nice and they have comfy seatings. Would come here again for the donuts and tasty Korean rice dogs 💗🍩

Google
Absolutely the best donuts in town. Also, their Korean hotdogs are out of this world!! Please come to this location!! Great staff and very clean

Google
I’m glad when this place was finally opened, it’s within a walking distance from my office. The Donuts are quite pricey compare to regular donuts, but they’re very filling as they are made with rice flour. I’ve gotten their donuts multiple times and this is the first time trying their korean style corn dog. On top of mochi donut and korean corn dog, there are selections of bubble tea as well. Their corn dogs are very crunchy, I tried half cheese and half hot dog.

Yelp
My favorite mochi donuts in the city. Many flavors, light and fresh. Service is always great, fast and friendly staff

Yelp
I usually hate mochi donuts but this place is great. The mochi dough was soft but crisp. The frosting was very light as well. I highly suggest you make a trip here even if you don't like mochi rings because it tasted better than any mochi donut place I've visited so far. It was so good that even my coworkers were fighting over the last pieces.

Yelp
I had never had a mochi donut before but our friends in town loved this place and were excited to show it to us. They definitely lived up to the hype and we were so glad to experience them at this spot first. The donuts were light and fluffy and came in a variety of flavors. There were some really unique flavors that were fun to share and try together with all of our kiddos. My favorite was probably the coffee and the s'mores donut. Even having a few bites of multiple flavors didn't fill us up too much which is usually the issue with donuts. Definitely try this cute place out if you're in the area!

Yelp
No idea what Mochi is but I am addicted. Daughter and friends ordered like a sampler of menu. Insanely good !

Yelp
Had never had mochi ring donuts, but my friends and I came in on a whim to try them out and they were a very pleasant surprise. All of the different flavors were strong and enjoyable, and the texture was fantastic, not really like many other pastries I've had. Definitely a novelty, but certainly worth checking out!

Yelp
Ordered 3 dozen mochi donuts late minute for a party and they accommodated with no problem! When I arrived to pick up, I ordered an extra donut to eat on the way and they gave it to me free of charge!! So nice :)

Yelp
I've been here twice in the last year, and both times did not disappoint. Being from Hawai'i, I am discerning (read: picky; also see: snobby) about mochi donuts. I was skeptical, but then pleasantly surprised by their fun texture and delightful flavors. There is such a wide variety to choose from -- something for everyone! There's also bubble tea and the popular Korean corn dogs. There is very limited seating, but I noticed most people getting theirs to go, like we did yesterday (last time we sat down). Both visits were in the late afternoon and quite busy. Yesterday we waited in line at least 5 minutes before it was our turn. I got nervous that they were going to sell out of the flavors we wanted, but there were more being made in the back, so everyone left happy! The employees were friendly and helpful, and worked hard to keep the line moving efficiently. Everything I've tried here thus far has been great. The mochi donuts we got yesterday were Taro, Oreo, Tiramisu, Coffee, Churro, and Brown Sugar Boba flavor. So yummy! I will happily return if given the opportunity. If you're in the area and craving a sweet treat, stop by and give them a try!

Yelp
Overall: 4/5 for mochi rings, 3/5 for the dogs. Have tried almost all the mochi flavors now, and sesame is definitely my fav (not too sweet, reminds me of Chinese sesame dessert balls)! Go to order: 1/2 cheese 1/2 sausage, with potato chunks: hot dogs here aren't that great, but satisfies my Korean hot dog cravings. Decent snack size, don't expect to get full from this. Sesame, ube, brown sugar: mochi donuts are my fav!! Chewy like mochi, sweet and taste like donuts! Tip: add hot cherry flakes for $.50 to any dog. There is a smol counter with sauces so you can spray your own flavors on your dogs.

Yelp
I was given the recommendation to visit Mochi Ring Donuts and try their cheesy ramen corn dog!! My young niece tried it and couldn't stop raving about it. I ordered the #6 which is a corn dog (inside is half mozzarella, half hot dog) and the outside has bits of ramen. I placed my order with the super friendly staff and was invited to wait at one of the many tables in their expansive seating area. I waited probably 5+ minutes for it even though they weren't busy. I was confused yet pleasantly surprised by this because I didn't realize it would be freshly made!!! It was quite delicious. I look forward to returning and trying their donuts and bubble tea! If you're in Rittenhouse Square, walk the 2 blocks west to Mochi Ring Donuts!

Yelp
Stopped in here while walking around the city and grabbed three donuts. Donuts were light and airy and they had a number of flavors to choose from. Differently different with the donuts in a ring shape and we got three of them and then shared amongst us. The Churro donut definitely had a cinnamon sugar flavor. The S'mores was more of a chocolate flavored donut with one marshmallow on top and I had a hard time detecting the Tiramisu flavor on our third donut. Cute little place inside with friendly service. Donuts aren't overly filling, but that was good with us. They do have other items in there like hot dogs on a stick and drinks, but we only got the donuts on this visit.

Yelp
We were ordering for an office party. Didn't smell anything special when walking in. Was clean with plenty of seating. Got a 6 mochi donut box + 1 extra for ourselves. They were soo good, we ate some of the office ones. The taro and strawberry donuts were amazing. Ate them so quickly, we forgot to take pics

Yelp
This trendy Philadelphia entry into the market of light, crispy donuts based on glutinous rice is the second I've tried. Their flavor selection was wide, and even taking several to go left me wondering if I was leaving something good on the table. I had hoped the donuts would survive a flight in decent condition, but they did not, becoming somewhat soggy and messy. Not that I blame the people who made them, it's just an unfortunate fact. While the texture delivered (when consumed fresh), the flavor seemed more glazed on top than baked in, and it wasn't as good as my first mochi donut experience. Still, if this is the trend, I'm in favor of it.

Yelp
I was so so excited about trying out this place and I finally stopped by on Memorial Day around 12:30. I got 3 donuts, 2 mozzarella and hot dog mochi dogs and a mango boba tea. The donut flavors were churros, ube and taro. The tea was good. A bit on the sweeter side, but nothing too crazy. I always appreciate when I can choose my sweetness, but that isn't an option here. The mochi dogs were alright. They had a LOT of batter on the outside, a nice amount of cheese and about 1/3 of a hotdog. They were big, very filling and super duper oily tasting. The less than stellar star of the show were the donuts. Love the look, love the shape and how easily they pull apart, but the taste of the donuts were really not what I was hoping for. 2 of my choices were just plain oily donuts with a very thin flavored frosting on top. The churros donut was the same oily donut with a light dusting of cinnamon and sugar. I appreciate that this place tried and I appreciate that some folks are into these. I'm sorry to say that it's just not worth the hype for me.

Yelp
Delicious place to grab dessert. The staff was willing to make new donuts even 30 minutes before closing time. Really appreciated the cute seating and lots go cleaning supplies to sanitize your station before sitting down. Loved the matcha donut and can't wait to come back.

Yelp
service is great i love the food here and love the music they play on the speaker. It's never too cold or too hot and i love their Korean corn dogs. I do think the price could be a little lower but other than that it's fine.

Yelp
Stopped by Mochi Ring last Friday afternoon to pick up some mochi donuts. Even though the store was in its soft opening phase, there were a lot of people coming by. It was 3pm, and Mochi Ring was pumping out donuts non-stop. The selection of donuts was huge, and not of your typical flavors, which made it so hard to choose! I finally decided on the black sesame, strawberry and oreo donuts, when the corndog on the menu caught my eye! I absolutely must have one. Upon closer look, there are 3 types of corndogs - the original, potato, and ramen! I had to go with the ramen one. It took about 10 minutes for the corndog to be made. It was fresh, hot and packaged nicely. The crunchy ramen bits on the outside of the corndog gave it texture. You can also get cheese in the corndog, but I only wanted sausage. What a delicious snack it was! I will have to come back to try the potato corndog another day. As for the mochi donuts, presentation, flavor, texture were on point! At $2.50 each, these are quality donuts and very reasonably priced. I would eat one of these vs two donuts from Dunkin Donuts. Currently, Mochi Ring isn't serving bubble tea yet, but really, the donuts are the star of the show! Go check it out!

Yelp
*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* Honestly cannot believe that mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs have made their way to Philly! This spot in the heart of Rittenhouse is definitely going to be a new goto place for me if I'm in the area. The place is super cute with a good amount of tables to enjoy the food or chill with friends. They have so many flavors to choose from depending on your mood. Ube, Black Seasams and Strawberry are my favorite thus far. I love just how chewy the donuts are and they're not too sweet either. Their original corn dog is pretty good too, would love to check out their cheese filled one next time. I wished they had more sauces for the corn dog outside of ketchup, Mayo, and mustard. Haven't tried their drinks either but will do next time and provide update! *VERDICT* DEFINITELY would go again!!

Yelp
I absolutely love the concept and product that they provide! I've never had anything like these donuts before--they're all sort of cream-filled ring donuts with all sorts of interesting and creative flavors. What's more, they also do lots of varieties of hot dogs on a stick. So you can satisfy your sweet tooth and savory cravings at the same time! I highly recommend the shredded coconut donut. They have SO many flavors that it might be a bit overwhelming at first, but the staff are quite responsive and I'm sure would be willing to help any lost customers out. The hot dogs are tasty too-definitely not the healthiest of options, but you knew that already before you ordered a "mozzarella cheese filled fried hot dog" on a stick. The question is, is it tasty? And the answer is yes. It's cute inside and the playlists are actually surprisingly popping. Plenty of indoor seating, although I've never seen someone do something other than takeout. The hot dogs are on a STICK, people! Perfect for walking and eating. One word to the wise is that lots of their donuts and all of their hot dogs are made to order, regardless of what's in the display case. So I typically order and wait about five min for them to make it. If you see donuts in the case, don't assume that you can grab one and go, most are for display only. However I would add, it's certainly worth the wait. I love this new fashion of combining sweet and savory cravings together under one roof (see federal donuts for another awesome example of this). Stop by and satisfy your cravings!

Yelp
Super cute donuts with many choices. One can get overwhelmed with the selections but it is a good problem. I absolutely love their mochi donuts. They were so soft and just melt in your mouth. I can honestly eat a whole dozen by myself but that would be bad for my waist line :) There were so many selections on the mochi donuts. We tried black sesame, taro, matcha and more. All were so delicious. We also tried their mozzarella stick with hot dogs. Although they were unique but I can definitely do without them.
google avatar

Kris L.

Yelp
The donuts are delicious! Super fried and sweet and chewy - everything you could hope for in a mocha donut! One will cost you $2.50 and it's well worth it! Can't wait to come back and try the Korean rice hot dog (with ramen?!) Also, this business is called Mochi Ring not Mochi Donuts. I have sent in a correction to help.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
This place opened not too long ago and is a must try dessert! It is different from your regular donut, the consistency is more chewy and usually less sweet. The cool thing too is its easy to share these with friends and try different flavors. This place has so many good flavors, matcha, ube, black sesame, coffeee etccc!! The prices are reasonable. My only comment is these are more oily than the ones I have had in other cities. It is okay at first when they are fresh but they become soggy quicker and extremely oily. Still the best place so far in town. Check it out!

Yelp
I've been wanting to eat Michu donuts for a very very long time. Unfortunately my current city doesn't have it. This week we are in Philly and we found this cute place. Their donuts come in so many flavors. My wife usually hates donuts but she likes theirs. We ate two right away and packed a box to go. We will definitely frequent this place next year!

Yelp
Great new mochi donut (and Korean corndog) shop in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse neighborhood: larger than it appears from the outside, as the back is double-wide and has a bunch of seating/tables, and staffed by wonderfully friendly and helpful individuals. The mochi donuts are made fresh on premises and sold individually and as a box of 6 or 12. Note, they are all so enticing, I recommend going with a friend(s) or taking some home so you can get a box and try a bunch. (One great aspect about the form of these donuts is that it makes it really easy to cut off a perfect bite-sized piece!) My first time having a mochi donut, I splurged on a box of 6: coffee was my hands-down favorite, but the others were pretty great, too: oreo, taro, black sesame, nutella, and brown sugar milk tea. Texture-wise, the donuts are crispy on the outside and chewier than a standard donut on the inside--they reminded me of pancakes, especially the brown sugar milk tea donut, which tasted like maple syrup to me. I also ordered an original half cheese half hotdog Korean corndog, which was half a large mozzarella stick and half a corndog with mozzarella--it was quite tasty, if a bit messy after I drizzled condiments on it. Next time I want to try the raymun crusted one!
google avatar

Yelp
Was so bummed to have missed the elite event, but was so excited to be able to stop in to give a little try. I loved all the ones I tried except the brown sugar milk tea. It tasted sort of like maple syrup and raisins to me. But the rest were so delicious. Soft, crispy/chewy and bursting with flavor. The kids loved them too. We all did. Will be back and WELCOME!!
google avatar

Kylie K.

Yelp
I like here Always tasty mochi donuts with many flavors, cheese dogs are good too, I wish they serve good coffee but bubble tea and other tea options are good.
google avatar

Che D.

Yelp
So my neighbor came home with some donuts and offered me one and OMG! When I tell you that these were amazing...just . It's like a donut and bubble tea pearls had a baby. It's not gummy like the bubble tea but the essence is there. Stay with me. So donuts can be a little underwhelming if it's not moist. These mochi donut are moist and flavorful. It was so good that I got me a box the next day. My favorites were Brown Sugar, Tiramisu and Strawberry. Trust me you will love these if you haven't tried them.
google avatar

Yelp
Apparently the latest bakery fad from the far East.............and it's sort of rad. Definitely eye-catching and scrumptious too. We had 6 assorted donuts, all tasty with just the right amount of chewiness too. The base of the donut appears the same so the different flavors come from the colorful icings/frostings. If you prefer strong flavored donuts, I'd suggest the taro, coffee or black sesame. The ube, milk tea and matcha donuts hinted of those flavors but in a more subtle way. Expect to pay $2 to $2.50 per donut (discounts for dozen and half dozen). We also tried the Korean-inspired corn dogs (think corn dog and mozzarella stick combined with rad coatings) at $5-$6/each. Pretty tasty but not too different than traditional corn dogs. Modern comfy shop in Rittenhouse Square area...... the donuts make a perfect mid-day snack or dessert.
google avatar

Sophea S.

Yelp
I love Mochi donuts! They're delicious. They have so many flavors here and each one is unique with their own flavor. My favorite flavor is black sesame, they're the best! You can tasted the real stuff not artificial flavor. Their Korean rice hotdogs were also good. I loved the ramen rice whole mozzarella. They were amazing!
google avatar

Royce D.

Yelp
This place has the best mochi donuts in Philadelphia! Really good deal for only $2.65 per donut. My favorite flavors are Matcha and strawberry shortcake. Really friendly and quick service, and the donuts hold really well after even hours. Delicious crispy texture! Cute vibe inside.
google avatar

Justina A.

Yelp
I think I would rate this place higher if it was my first time having a Korean corn dog. I love Korean corndogs and usually get them in SoCal at places like Myungrang in Ktown, LA. I thought the corndogs here did not match up to the quality of the places in LA. The corndog was crispy and had the cheese pull that Korean corndogs are known for, but it wasn't anything spectacular. The mochi donuts were also just okay. They are super cute and nicely decorated, but I thought they were overhyped. All the donuts seem to be the same base with different icing/toppings.
google avatar

Alexander P.

Yelp
Cute donuts. Their unique shape suggests they can be broken into to satisfying little niblets to be shared or portioned. I couldn't personally try the donuts due to having a gluten allergy, but they have some unique flavors (Ube, for instance). It's 92 degrees out, and while donuts aren't the first thing that comes to mind, they boba tea options were excellent. I had the mango which was delicious. I'll certainly be back when in the Rittenhouse square area.
google avatar

Morris B.

Yelp
Finally got my behind here to get some mochi donuts! And of course I don't have pictures because I was so busy eating lol next time! I ordered just a smores mochi donut and a grapefruit bubble tea because I ALWAYS get thai tea everywhere and I was tired of my predictable self lol The mocha donut itself was very light and yet chewy. I cant describe it but it was interesting. Smaller than I expected but no big deal. The s'mores flavor was basically on top of the donut, but the actual donut tasted plain to me. The bubble tea wasn't bad. I saw they also offered some interesting looking hotdogs on a stick even some deep fried on ramen I believe? Maybe next time :-)

Yelp
First time for us and delish. definitely a must try. Different from traditional krispy/dunkin etc. but definitely good when in the area & convenient. We tried strawberry, Oreo & s'mores and all yumO.

Yelp
I'm a fan of mochi donuts, especially for their chewy texture. And, I love korean hot dogs for the mozzarella cheese and their crispy shell. Mochi ring donut is good, but not the best. This place satisfies my donut and hot dog cravings, but I would not go out of my way to come.

Yelp
We walked to seek out Mochi Ring Donut in the heat today in anticipation of something amazing. We have heard some really good things about these Mochi Donuts and wanted to come and give them a try for ourselves. When I went to order, the cashier told me that the most popular ones were the Brown Sugar and the Strawberry flavored donuts, so I went with the brown sugar Mochi donut and my dad got the coffee donut. They were okay, and I couldn't tell what the hype was all about. They were a little more airy than you're typical donut hole from a Dunkin' Donuts, but other than that there was not anything crazy about them. The flavors of the donuts were good, and I was really happy with our selection! I'm definitely glad that we came to try Mochi Ring Donut, and definitely recommend it to anyone who has never had it before
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place out! I've been interested since I saw it was coming soon and happy that I went. The donuts are $2.50 each and I got a matcha flavored one and a banana flavored one. I really enjoyed the texture of the donuts. Very fluffy and chewy at the same time! The banana flavor tastes like a laffy taffy. It was tasty but I wouldn't get that flavor again. I like that they both were flavorful but weren't too sweet. Service was great and fast. Excited to go back and try the other flavors! They also have corn dogs but I didn't get a chance to try them this time. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Mochi donuts have been one of those trending foods you see everywhere, so I was excited to find out that Philly was going to have a place of their own! Located near Rittenhouse, it's this cute little shop that I thought was going to be small, but the inside opens up and they have seating as well. Love the colorful murals and paintings on the walls, everything is super cute. Got there around maybe 5:30ish? For a second I was nervous because I thought they ran out of donuts due to the empty trays on display, but the lady at the counter reassured everyone that there were more in the back, glad that they continuously make donuts instead of making x amount of batches and it being first come first serve. Also got an original half cheese half hotdog korean corndog. These were a favorite when I went to LA so I had to try one here of course. The mochi donut were okay. Not as light and airy and chewy as the other ones I've had. The flavor of the icings were good, but the donut itself was a liiiiiiiittle greasy. THOUGH they weren't BAD I'm just being critical. If I were craving a mochi donut, these would suffice. The corndog was pretty good too, nothing much to say about them, I enjoyed mine a lot. Kinda wish it was bigger and the hotdog was thicker. I still say to come check this place out! I always like to give the benefit of the doubt to new businesses, and give them time to work out the kinks after their first few weeks of opening. So I'm excited to try their other flavors next time I come here!

Yelp
After having dim sum nearby, my friend knew that I wanted to hit up Mochinut afterwards. We were planning to go to the one in Philly's Chinatown but he googles it and says that there is one that is only a 5 minute walk. As you read along in this review, just know that I've been to different Mochinut locations before and I am a fan of their boba drinks. Upon entering the shop...Ummm, the aesthetics of the place looks so different from all the rest I've ever been to. I look at the menu, oh look they have different drinks here. Oh wow, they have Coconut and Banana Milk Tea. I decided to get the Coconut and the Matcha Milk Tea while my friend gets the Thai Tea. When the drinks were bought over to our table, my keen boba x-ray eyes can tell these drinks will not be good. There was powder swirling on the bottom around the bobas. I say to myself...Hmmm, these don't come in those cute cans like all the ones I've been to. It was served in these plain plastic cups with no logo or design. It looked diluted and tasted artificial. The moment when I walk out of the shop it finally hits me. OMG!!! This is not Mochinut, it's Mochi Ring! Not only do I need to smack my head once, I needed to smack it a few more times. I can't blame my friend, he didn't know but Ms. Bobalicious should have. We both took some sips and then threw $21 worth of drinks in the trash. Maybe they are more known for their Mochi donuts but my coconut Mochi was a bit stale and my friend said he couldn't taste the Tiramisu flavor in his.

Yelp
We went to Mochi Ring Donuts Earlier today because we heard it was a new restaurant and wanted to try it. We have tried these types of donuts before and were excited to try this new spot in Philadelphia. When we got there, I was pleasantly surprised to see they had matcha as well as my favorite flavor of banana for only $5 for two! The ambience was a nice cute shop with a surprising amount of clean, comfortable seating. Both donuts were delicious. The textures were perfect combinations of doughy and crispy fried goodness, with just the right amount of savory oil. The matcha was yummy as expected, but the banana was a bit artificial tasting (like a "hard candy" banana flavor). Still, I enjoyed the banana donut as an avid banana dessert enthusiast like myself. I'm really happy with the purchase and am excited to go back for more affordable and delicious donuts!

Yelp
First time trying mochi donuts and I'm hooked! It's as though Kripsy Kreme and mochi had a baby. I love the soft, yet chewy texture. I also like that they are not too sweet, just sweet enough. I tried the black sesame, matcha and ube. The flavors were most pronounced in the black sesame (my favorite of the three) whereas the flavors of the other two were pretty muted. There are so many flavors offered here, I look forward to trying them all!

Yelp
Yummmm came here after Pilates and wanted to treat myself. Decided to get several flavors including ube, matcha, yuzu, and brown sugar. It was super chewy! Depending on what texture you like will determine if you'll like these or not. Definitely better than some of the ones I've tasted. My favorite was the brown sugar!!! Soooo good.

Yelp
New flavors always intrigue me and Mochi Ring Donuts definitely had so many! I got one of each to bring to work: Matcha, Taro, Churro, Nutella, Black Sesame, Boba Milk Tea, Coffee (w/Biscoff cookie on it), Strawberry. I've never seen a boba milk tea and coffee flavored donut before. I got to try the Coffee and the Strawberry--the texture was spot on! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The Coffee donut didn't taste like coffee, it tasted like a plain glaze donut. But the strawberry one was SO good, it was super strong in the fruit flavor and the crispies on top of it was a nice touch. I also got a ramen cheese corn dog and finally got to experience the hype of Korean cheese dogs. It was pretty decent! It's such a cute shop and a great place to bring your favorite coworkers donuts :)

Yelp
The only other mochi donuts I've tried were from paris baguette before Mochi Ring opened and these are superior in every way. Fresh out of the fryer, they are crispy, light and delicious. A day later, they're more chewy and still delicious. They are also the perfect shape for tearing and sharing. My friends and I tried an abundance of their flavors including: black sesame, ube, coffee (comes with a lotus cookie!), strawberry, raspberry, and a couple more I can't remember. They all tasted great but my personal fave was black sesame, reminds me very much of the tang yuan filling (sweet, nutty and aromatic). Donuts aside, they also make a variety of teas, which were fruity and refreshing, especially since summer is quickly approaching. They also make korean corndogs though I did not get to try the corndogs myself. Will definitely go back to try because they looked so good. Lastly, the atmosphere itself is very photogenic as well. Lots of little murals which you can take photos in front of so perfect for you foodstagramers! They also have a decent amount of seating along the walls of the cafe. Highly recommend this place for a new-ish take on dessert!

Yelp
We got one of each donut and one of each cheese dog plus bubble tea. This place is pricy, but definitely unique and delicious. I'm so excited we finally have a Korean corn dog place in Philly!

Yelp
The staff are very friendly and were extremely patient when I might of been taking a bit longer than I should of! The Texture of the Donuts was great, nice and chewy like the other Mochi Donuts I have had. I got the half Mozz and half hotdog (#4?) and it was pretty good! The outside was more sweet than I'd expect but it was good! I probably would continue to get the half and half or maybe a full hot dog! My boyfriend got the whole mozz and it was a bit much (tastes good but just personal thing). The only thing that I would critique is I wish the hot dog was a bit more steaming hot/warm, it takes a minute to eat it so it cools down rather quickly. The only thing that I would critique is that 2/4 flavors I've tried were a bit underwhelming which so happened to be the Ube and Taro. The black sesame, Churro were really good! Also heard great things about the strawberry option.
