The cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable.. I like how they have domes to enjoy private conversations(I forgot to take picture) My nephew had the mozzarella corn dog with cornflakes and fruity pebble mochi donut, he gobbled it so quick. My husband and I only ordered a sweet potato drink. It was different than the usual taro drinks in other places. It tastes less refined. What I didn't like is that they dont offer the option of boba being blended, only over ice... I felt that the price was a bit steep at almost $8 for the small drink cup... Would I go back again?? Maybe not, just for the fact they dont blend drinks..

Google
Its alright. The machine donuts are just as good as any other place. The corn dogs... I've had better! When I went i got a cheese one and the batter was still gooey! It tasted like raw batter so I know it wasn't the cheese. That put me off. Service was great tho.

Google
Best mochi doughnuts in CA. Delicious flavors, they have the right texture to the dough and the flavors weren't too sweet. I recommend the cookies and cream, one of my all around favorites. The ambiance was amazing, I've been to other Mochinuts, but none of them compared to the special decorations this location had. Alexis was amazing, appreciate her patience with us on selecting items we weren't familiar with. For anyone around the area, take a look at this hidden gem. They even have some refreshing drinks to get your day started (Team Peach Mango Haze)

Jasmine S.

Google
The food and drinks are SUPERB! We had ordered a dozen donuts, 2 mochinut balls, a rice dog, the peach mango cloud haze and the white choco mocha. Everything tasted amazing. I've only tried the Mochinut locations in the Bay Area and this location is the best one I've been to. Definitely would recommend this place!

Love the decor inside . The donut taste ok and the drink s nothing special. And a little bit pricey.

Mochinut is the perfect spot to get a yummy donut, cold boba drink and a hot Korean corndog. When you first walk in the decor strikes the perfect balance between chic and cozy. The ambiance is trendy yet comfortable, making it an ideal for gatherings with friends and family. I was blown away by the service at Mochinut. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. Truly great service! One of the owners recommended us to try the ube soft serve and it was really delicious and perfect for a summer treat. If you're a foodie like me, you'll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of food and drinks, and we loved everything we tried. We ordered a dozen Mochinut with all the flavors they offered. The coffee boba drink was fantastic and the boba was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Korean corndog with potatoes half and half. By far that was the best Korean corndog I had ever have, paired with chipotle sauce. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The mochi donuts were fresh, chewy, and flavorful. Highly recommend the raspberry funnel cake, churro, and strawberry fruity pebble Mochinut. We only had good results comments about the food. I can't wait to come back again to try the new flavors they offer every week!

Brandy P.

Google
Great experience! We got donuts/drinks/cheese dog. Would recommend the churro one and the brown sugar milk tea! I loved the drink. Thank you to the owner for being great.

Google
Awesome to have another mochi donut place in town! Super cute atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy K-pop tunes in a comfy chair. Tried the mochi donuts, Thai tea, milk tea, hot Cheetos rice hot dog, rice mozzarella stick, crispy ramen hot dog, and a soft serve ice cream cone. Everything was delicious and the packaging is really cute. The food portions are generous and we could not finish everything. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back for sweet treats!

Yelp
Came in for their one year anniversary and I can't believe it took a year for me to try this place! To celebrate, they handed everyone a free glazed mochinut for the day. I also got their Ube Cheesecake and the Matcha. Former was my favorite! The matcha is earthy is definitely for those who love matcha. If you're on the other side of the fence on that then I wouldn't try it but their RnD clearly decided to keep it true to the flavor. Also got a brown sugar boba and I have no complaints there!

Yelp
My son and I were out running errands and I saw this shop across the street. My son loves donuts so I thought, why not, let's check it out. I googled it real quick and saw the fun shapes of the donuts and thought it could be a fun experience. It was around 2:00pm on a Wednesday so there was literally no one there. Just the one kid working the counter and us. The music was poppy and fun and there was a TV showing the lyrics in English and Japanese. The seating areas are cute but dark. And the most you can have in your group would be 4 if you wanted to eat there. The donuts had a really good texture. Slightly chewy but fluffy. Flavor was really good. The funnel cake one really tasted like a funnel cake. The fruit ades were super sweet. Too sweet really, even my 10 year old said so. I won't get one of those again but there are other options I wouldn't mind trying. I wouldn't mind coming in earlier for a fresher batch of donuts. It's a cute little place. I recommend stopping by some time while you're out.

Yelp
Just left Mochinut with my dozen donuts, 40 less dollars in my pocket and feeling like I was a huge bother to the Asian dude who was "helping" me. He said nothing when I walked in, nothing when I was at the counter - just stared at me until I told him that I wanted a dozen donuts. He did mumble that he would just give me one of each of donut to make things "easier" (for who? him?) to which I said "no." I don't like being made to feel like my presence is bothersome, especially when I'm there to spend money. Probably won't be back until they hire someone who actually wants to be there. The one extra star is for the donuts.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I really wanted to like this place, but overall, it just didn't hit the mark for us. We ordered the brown sugar milk tea with extra boba, Thai milk tea with no boba, and a funnel cake mochi donut. The brown sugar milk tea was actually pretty good -- the texture of the boba was nice and chewy, and the sweetness was just right. Unfortunately, the Thai tea was really disappointing. It didn't taste like Thai tea at all -- it was very orange colored, I thought it was going to be good but it lacked the creamy, spiced flavor you'd expect. The mochi donut itself was fine but had a little bit of a weird aftertaste. We didn't love the ordering process. The self-serve kiosk doesn't let you pick your donut flavor, so you have to go up and tell the worker, which defeats the purpose of the kiosk. A bit weird. The shop itself is cute, but it was noticeably warm inside -- not ideal when you're trying to enjoy a cold drink or a fresh pastry. Between the disappointing drink and awkward ordering experience, I probably wouldn't come back or recommend it.

Yelp
My kids were very excited to try the donuts, but unfortunately, we do not like them. I don't know if they were undercooked or that's how they're supposed to be , definitely will not be going back.
google avatar

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Really enjoyed mochinut. Arrived right after they had opened for the day, the young lady who helped us was friendly and helpful with figuring out what we wanted. The matcha and donut were both great. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars! Mochinut totally impressed me! I had the matcha glazed, churro, and rice crispy treat mochinuts--each one was spot on. Chewy, crispy, and full of flavor. The matcha was earthy and clean, the churro was sweet and nostalgic, and the rice crispy treat one was a delicious, creative twist. I also tried the potato half & half hot dog--half cheese, half hot dog, fried with crispy potato chunks on the outside. It was crunchy, gooey, and super satisfying! The boba drinks were equally amazing--matcha, coffee, and my new favorite: brown sugar matcha. Each drink was perfectly balanced in sweetness, and the boba was soft and chewy. The space is adorable and cozy, with private-feeling sections and giant swirly chairs. And the staff? So friendly, helpful, and efficient. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

DeAndre K.

Yelp
So this is just a quick review, just my opinion i was not impressed with the donuts everyone had been talking about. The inside seemed pretty clean. The young gentleman taking my order, really didn't seem like he wanted to be there...kinda like a whatever attitude . But as far as the donuts themselves, we took them to go. Now this is just me! I'm not a big fan of the texture of the donuts. Traditional donuts to me are soft, dry and tasty. These "To Me", were weird and chewy. Some of the flavors didn't taste like i thought they would. But I guess I'm a little old fashioned. The only donut that i thought was okay was the "Fruity Pebbles". I haven't tried the corn dogs yet, so I'll give an update later once i try them..but the texture of the donuts are just not for me! Also my bill for 6 donuts came out to $25 dollars. A little overpriced!

Yelp
We went on the last day of the end of the week, so we didn't expect to see all the flavors but they did have them all which was great! I like the small cubicles they have so that people can sit with their own buddies and they have bathrooms! Second, the menu is nice and big so we can see everything and they even have combos, a drink and a donut for $11ish. A donut is about $4 with tax. They have a self service kiosk or you can have someone serve you. You just tell him which one and it's given to you. I do like the donuts, they're chewy and flavorful. I do wish however that there was some heating system or something to keep them warm, as they are just left out on a counter for everyone to see and left there with no lamp or anything over it.

Yelp
Heard great things about this place; so had to try it while I was in the area. The seating is neat and gives off a very chill vibe. However,my first time here ; wasn't sure where to start; what all they offered or anything. Menu was hung kinda high and distant for me to read. As I was trying to read the donut flavors off the glass and look at the donut case; the worker just stared at me ; asking if I want to join the rewards. There was no welcome to the shoppe, explaining of anything; just basically how many donuts do you want and this is the total. Seemed like high school kids working here; and they could care less about the customer or experience or vibe they give off. Almost seemed like they couldn't wait to leave . The donuts were okay; kinda rubbery ... and didn't taste super fresh. Little expensive!
google avatar

Keia C.

Yelp
Came for the kids birthday. It is such a cute spot! Really colorful and eclectic. The workers were ok, let's just say their dispositions weren't as sunny as the interior. We decided to get the 3-for $10.99 and the girls got a milk tea and a Thai boba. My caramel latte one was good, not too sweet. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it was a super chewy donut, but I liked it. My kids said their strawberry funnel cake and matcha ones were delicious. Since this place has a rotating menu, we will probably be back to try some other flavors.
google avatar

Jeff T.

Yelp
Best welcoming service, relaxing area and mochi donuts I've had. I'd recommend as a first date idea.
google avatar

Ludger Q.

Yelp
Always wanted to try this place and compare it to its counterparts. The venue is really cool and nicely decorated. I like the different set ups they have for seating and it really shows their creativity and artistry. I got 6 donuts and a for dog (half cheese/hotdog). The con I would say is the donut was a little chewier or doughier than I'm used to. I've had mochi donuts and I wish it was a little more firmer/crispier instead of doughy. Same thing with the corn dog, felt like the outer shell was just melting off. The pros I'd say is they have a great variety of choices of flavors and creative. The server was super nice as well and informed me of their popular items.
google avatar

Janice T.

Yelp
Mochinut is the best! Their mochi donuts are soft and chewy, and the Korean corn dogs are hands down the best in town. Plus their staff is always super nice, sweet & professional! Can't forget the interior! It's super cute & welcoming!
google avatar

Regina C.

Yelp
Ooo, I remember coming here when they first opened and it was very cool! I especially remember their cool cans they put the drinks in. But I went back with brother a couple weeks ago and I've got to say...the price point and size and the look of the drink are not worth it. It was smaller than my phone (iPhone 16 pro max). The donuts were also undercooked and the corndog needed more sauce.
google avatar

Gabriela R.

Yelp
First timer here and it's so cute I love it. There's plenty of seating and private seating as well. The flavors are clear on a paper if you don't want to have to look through the glass. Which I prefer. There's a screen above with all the options flavors and pricing. I paid around 12 dollars for a donut and drink which seems high but I will not pretend I know what it costs to run this type of business. I say it's worth it if it's a treat once in a while. They had around 8/10 flavors I can't remember but chose the peanut butter one and it was so good! The young lady at the counter seemed young but was friendly and suggested drinks who ch I appreciate! Will definitely come back soon!
google avatar

Holly W.

Yelp
This is the cutest place the workers are so sweet and adorable Plus you get a good dose of K-Pop Their Coffee Boba can't be beat!! Best I've had We ordered half & half hot Cheeto and the ramen mozzarella stick. You guys you have never had this before! Next level

google avatar

Yelp
My sister in law invited here because she knew the kids would love it! Especially my almost 13 year old daughter! It's vibe ! Food is 10/10 the donut are elite, soft almost as eating funnel cakes at the fair but better. Service was 10/10! Very friendly and efficient Will definitely be coming back for more match donuts and boba
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
1st time! Mochinut $3.99 each, rice hot dogs start at $5.25, drinks $6.75 to $7.75. Lots of options to try. Cute shop with gram worthy shots and little private sitting areas. The mochinuts were chewy and I got the chocolate peppermint (that I wouldn't get again but it was good). The oreo one I would buy a dozen! Thanks will be back.
google avatar

Mandee G.

Yelp
Yummmmm, always fresh and delicious we love coming here. Good selection, they always post the menu on IG on Mondays

Yelp
I was surprised this place opened at 12 noon, my friend and I were going to go mid morning for coffee and donuts but had to pivot when seeing their hours. Interesting choice for a donut place but I understand now they are more of a snack joint. Donuts, drinks, corn dogs for mid afternoon snacks. I can see this place being popular for an after school snack stop. The donuts were interesting, more chewy and doughy than regular donuts which they try to make clear. It had a funnel cake consistency to me, very doughy. Frostings were very very sweet. Sugar high for sure. Drinks were good, very fun with the soda can top. Service was fine, they had just opened for the day so I think they were getting settled in and a little distracted. The decor and seating is super cute. Lots of picture taking areas. If you like sugary treats and instagramable pics this is your place!

Yelp
Hello! My boyfriend and I went out here for the first time and it was lovely! The decor on the inside is so adorable and aesthetic. The interior is mostly pastel colors and the whole place is very clean and decorated nicely. The seating was also very spacious with big comfy chairs! :) The person who took and made our order was so friendly, cheerful, and helpful. They immediately greeted us when we came in, gave us plenty of time to browse the options, and swiftly helped us with our order! We ordered a 3 pack of mochi doughnuts. We got the flavors Peppermint Hot Cocoa, Strawberry Funnel Cake, and Churro. All three were delicious. My favorite was the peppermint hot cocoa. It was so Chocolatey and has a soft, creamy peppermint icing on top! Churro was a close second and my boyfriend's favorite of the three. It tastes exactly like taking a bite out of a churro. it was soo yummy! Strawberry funnel cake was also outstanding! It's a perfect light, sweet treat. :) We definitely recommend all three flavors!! We also tried the Matcha drink with boba and Brown Sugar drink with boba, they were both incredibly delectable. The matcha was perfect! It wasn't too sweet, it had a perfect and balanced matcha tea flavor! :) The brown sugar drink was also so yummy. it was pretty, flavorful, and sweet! the boba pearls were also really good. They were chewy and delicious. Loved this whole meal and experience!! Will definitely visit again :)

Yelp
The flavors during Star Wars week were SO good... boba coffee was delicious & the hot cheeto Korean hotdog was delicious. Great packaging for DoorDash order also

Brandy P.

Yelp
Great experience! We got donuts/drinks/cheese dog. Would recommend the churro one and the brown sugar milk tea! I loved the drink. Thank you to the owner for being great.
google avatar

Jasmine R.

Yelp
Came in here to take a peak, it was so pretty. Such a cute hang out spot. The employee welcomed us with a smile and didn't stop smiling at us. Their specific donuts looked so bomb. We got a churro flavored and it was sooo good. We ate it up before getting a picture. Definitely will come again to try other items.
google avatar

Haily S.

Yelp
I finally got to try Mochinut and we decided to try a few things. I will say that the corndogs are delicious! I tried the ramen crusted, half cheese, half dog one... Definitely something different! I really enjoyed the CRISPY exterior and the super gooey cheese! I also tried the donuts which I was really excited for because I love sweets, but I wasn't a huge fan of the texture. They were just too chewy for me. The flavors, however, where very interesting and I quite liked the toppings. Finally, I tried the boba -- I was really excited because I didn't know it came in a sealed can! With ice! Very unique.. It was VERY Sweet and heavy, but I enjoyed every sip of that thing! All in all, great food, just be expecting something a *little* different than what you are used to!
google avatar

Mailani B.

Yelp
Yummmmy donuts!!! The drinks were my daughters favorite too... i ddnt get a chance to take a picture
google avatar

Jenna C.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It's super cute with bright colors and fun sitting areas, the doughnuts were yummy and eye-catching, the milk boba and Thai tea were excellent, and the potato chip half mozzarella half beef sausage hot dog was delicious. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Kera S.

Yelp
I lovee this place soo much , the absolute best customer service! They have some of the best mochinut donuts, love loveee love their sweet potato and brown sugar milk teas! Aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, received a free donut for my birthday. The owners are so kind and welcoming. Great, fun addition to the community!
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Fun place, kids love it, but I think the drinks are smaller than they used to be to be
google avatar

Yelp
The Mochinut are so delicious. Great flavors to pick from. Awesome customer. Beautiful place inside. Thank you for all around great taste service.

Erron M.

Yelp
Best mochi doughnuts I've ever had. The flavors were so delicious, they have the right texture to the dough and the flavors weren't too sweet. I highly recommend the cookies and cream, one of my all around favorites. The ambiance was amazing, I've been to other Mochinuts, but none of them compared to the special decorations this location had. Alexis was amazing, appreciate her patience with us on selecting items we weren't familiar with. For anyone around the area, take a look at this hidden gem. They even have some refreshing drinks to get your day started (Team Peach Mango Haze)
google avatar

Angela T.

Yelp
The donuts were so good! They're quite different from a typical doughnut. It was chewy similar to a pizza dough. We tried several. The Nutella was my favorite! Or maybe the matcha was my favorite. The fruity peddle one was good, but too sweet for me. We all like the churro and my daughter's favorite was blueberry cheesecake. I'm looking forward to trying the biscoff next time!
google avatar

Kathi S.

Yelp
I've been waiting for Mochinut to open for months. I haven't tried this style Korean treats befit so I was excited to finally to l try it & I was not disappointed. Marben & his team are friendly & attentive. I love the atmosphere when you walk in the door it warm & retro. They are very active in sharing their menu on social media so what you're expecting is there when you arrive. Our 1st mochinut was the blueberry cheesecake. It was different yet delightful. It's more chewy than a regular doughnut. The flavor was on point. We also got a boba coffee, it's lightly sweet & creamy. Likely made was sweetened condensed milk. Personally, not a fan of the boba, nothing to do with Mochinut. The rice hotdogs are bomb!!! I absolutely love fried cheese on a stick & corndogs at the fair & this takes fried cheese to the next level!! We tried an original half & half as well as a potato half & half! Again, the rice text is more chewy & delightful. The potato is like eating for mozzarella stick, hotdog & fries in 1 bite, delish. The original has a great texture & flavor. My husband said he could eat 5 more lol For dip, they have ketchup, mustard & spicy mayo. My husband loved the spicy mayo. It gave just the right kick. We'll definitely be regular!
google avatar

Miriam P.

Yelp
I've never felt so welcomed! Everyone was so kind and helpful. I needed a little extra time to look at the menu there were so many options and they were so patient. The mochi donuts were delicious especially with the soft serve they belong together! The Thai tea was perfectly sweetened. This store looks so cute and I loved the music playing. I can't wait to come back
google avatar

Mikayla G.

Yelp
The atmosphere is so lively and fun and the inside is decorated super cutely! They were playing kpop as well. It looks like the perfect place for a small cupsleeve event! (iykyk!) It is pretty small though, so with the way its set up it gets very crowded very quickly. When I went it was pretty busy and there was no seating for any parties over 2. However there was two empty tables with trash/boxes etc on them so nobody was able to sit there. I asked the cashier if it could be cleared but he told me no because that was the managers stuff. I thought it was a little ridiculous considering how busy and crowded it was, but whatever, not the end of the world. I ordered the half half potato dog and a Thai tea Boba. Both were so delicious! the half and half dog was very fresh and hot. The Thai tea was super refreshing. (you already know with the Bakersfield heat!) The boba was okay. I also got the Biscoff mochi donut. SO GOOD!!!! It did take awhile but it was understandable because of how busy they were and because they're still working out the kinks. I did meet the manager and he was super nice and friendly, as is the rest of the staff I interacted with. Overall, I had a good experience and will be returning!
google avatar

Karla G.

Yelp
Wow, this place is cute, that was my first impression of this place. Im so glad there is another mochi donut place here in town. The donuts were cooked perfectly and the flavors were good. Im glad they have more than 2 chocolate flavors. The korean dog was also good. Service was fast. I have not tried the boba drinks yet but maybe on my next visit. I recommend this place!
google avatar

Mharieee G.

Yelp
The taste is good but for the price I find it expensive because it is small. But it is worth it... so , if you are thirsty, I think this not enough. Service and location is good. Clean
google avatar

Yin M.

Yelp
The ashier greeted us with a friend smile and made us feel comfortable! Yummy boba, Korean hot dogs and mochi donut! Nice aesthetics!
google avatar

Karen E.

Yelp
If i could give it 0 stars i would. Nasty. Did not taste anything like Thai tea. Not worth 7$
google avatar

Maira V.

Yelp
Fast service great customer service. Ambiance is lay back, everything tastes good Will be going back

Jesse S.

Yelp
Great service! Very cute and seating is very nice with the decor. Food is surprisingly good.

Nicky N.

Yelp
I've been to other Mochinut establishments in LA county, and this one is not very good. The donuts do not taste as fresh here, and the customer service was lacking. Heavyset Filipino guy was very disinterested and needs a friendlier attitude when dealing with customers. Decor is cute.
google avatar

Stephanie P.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place, as it's a bit closer than the other mochi donut place...but I prefer the drink flavors/options and donuts at Mochido. We ordered the 6-pack and most of them had a bad aftertaste like they were fried in old oil - We came at opening (12pm) and not sure how often it's changed out. The best was the churro flavor and 2nd was the Oreo - somehow the flavors masked the issue. Raspberry Funnel cake, maple biscoff and Nutella graham cracker were all overshadowed by the bad aftertaste. All were a bit undercooked (I'm familiar with how a mochi donut texture should be). I ordered the milk tea and my daughter ordered the cherry berry drink. Both were good. If we came back, it would be for a close/quick boba.

Maureen I.

Yelp
Donuts is amazing, service was great, i would recommend this place for a fun night out with the kids.

Bonnie L.

Yelp
My husband and I took our daughter there last week cause she's been wanting some mochi donuts. We ordered our donuts and waited. The cashier was a young Asian guy and was super rude to us! This is not the first time this has happened!! Well we won't be back with such service and mind you these are not cheap donuts either. I am heading to mochido on Truxton from now on where the people are actually pleasant.
