"Mochinut in Chattahoochee Food Works makes donuts with rice flour for a stretchy and chewy texture (mochi, get it?). Like the ones made famous by Japan’s Mister Donut chain, these mochi doughnuts form a ring of eight connecting mini dough balls. There are a variety of ever-changing flavors to choose from like the raspberry funnel cake (it does, in fact, taste like carnival food) and a caramel churro. Mochinut doesn’t open until noon, so it’s ideal for those of us who regularly hit snooze seventeen times in the morning. Or you can stock up for later since the mochi dough will maintain a similar softness the next day." - Juli Horsford

Love this place. Such a great atmosphere and the staff is very kind, friendly, and attentive. Doughnuts are amazing as their bite size entrees are delicious and affordable! All their drinks are a must!!

Google
Really wonderful staff and food. The tea to milk ratio is perfect with the tea and the donuts are delicious! We had the potato half and half hot dogs with spicy mayo. 10/10, especially after seeing a movie around the corner! The perfect after movie spot. Also bought a half dozen donuts to give away. I hope the recipients enjoy!

Google
Meh. Didn't love these. I guess I wanted them freshly made or hot or something other than the feel of sitting out all day. Got the Nutella biscoff, regular, and churro. It was 6 pm and not a ton of options left. Maybe it's best in the morning? The drinks were good and the hot cheeto dog was pretty good too. They had potstickers and spring rolls on the menu too. Atmosphere was a little dry even for a date night.

Google
Donuts are great, an amazing consistency and all you can expect out of mochi donuts. The times I have came an hour or two before they close they are usually out of most flavors.

Google
Been wanting to try these for a long time and finally got over there today. Tried 3 donuts: churro, strawberry, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. We liked the strawberry one the best but the other 2 were tasty. 3 for $9 is a little pricey, probably won’t get again. I had a beef chedder bacon jalapeño corn dog, that was really worth it. My son had sweet potato cheddar and he said it was good but not great. Overall experience 8/10

Google
My favorite place to go for a quick bite to eat or a sweet treat in the evenings! Everything here is delicious and staff is always very friendly and helpful! I recommend the Korean corndogs to anyone! 🤩

Google
They had few flavors available when we arrived. We got dozen donuts and all of them were delicious, soft and flavorful. Chocolate and Yuzu were my favorite, I loved it. Their Vietnamese coffee was amazing! Sooo delicious. Will be coming back here to try different flavors.

Vilma Sandoval

Google
Had their doughnuts, Vietnamese coffee and rice dogs. Everything was delicious!! So good and service was exceptional! I will be coming back. And they have a little corner where they sell cute little stationary. Super cute.

Yelp
This was my first visit here! My cousin and I took the kids for a treat. Parking was plentiful. The decor was so cute for a photo op. We ended up just getting mochi donuts and a lemonade. I really liked the taro and matcha flavors! The lemonade was refreshing. I definitely want to come back and try the hotdog and teas.

Crstal W.

Yelp
The Doughnut is so fluffy and lightweight The flavors always the same They don't have matcha a bit pricey but not worth it, fruit cover with sugar was very sweet

Yelp
We love trying different boba tea places and this one was pretty good. The service was quick and efficient. The environment is perfect for teens and casual studying.

Jasmine L.

Yelp
First time trying this location and was impressed! The inside is very aesthetic with cute decorations, lots of seating, and opportunities to photos. When we went to order at the cashier, everyone was super welcoming and nice! There was a variety of choices! It was overwhelming in a good way! Some of the flavors we got were fruity pebbles, oreo, caramel, and powdered sugar with strawberry syrup. They were all chewy and fun to eat! We sat on two velvety chairs to eat a few, then took the rest home. The packaging/box of the donuts is also super pretty, and it's the perfect packaging for giving away as gifts! Will have to come back and try more flavors!

Jasmine T.

Yelp
Love their mochi donuts but recently had some of their mochi donut balls and they were so delicious!

Jaynie N.

Yelp
This place had amazing service as well as amazing donuts and the hot dogs are to die for they are so delicious definitely coming again!

Ada C.

Yelp
To me, mochinuts resemble some big girly bracelets and always made me want to try wearing them on my wrists. LOL. All mochinuts indeed look so cute, and cute things make me happy! Taste wise, mochinuts would be softer and stretchier, because of the tapioca flour used. Delicious and not overly sweet, they make good sweet treats! Out of the 4 different flavors that I had, the original and ube with fruity pebbles were good. The other two, sorry I forgot what flavors they were-Churros and funnel cake maybe (?) were A-Okay. Great for sharing- each mochinut could make 8 mochi-balls! Yum yum yum :)

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while looking for some refreshing drink on a very hot Texas afternoon. It's a cute little shop selling donuts and different drinks, including boba tea. I tried the mango lemonade and it was so very refreshing. Service was quick. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
My first foray into Korean hot dogs and mochi donuts and I must say I'm impressed. I really like the texture of the cheetos hot dog, though I didn't think it was all that spicy. The mayo really hit it home. Could be either a little cheaper or a little bigger, but I can understand paying a price for the uniqueness. The mochinuts are good as well, though I'd either just shoot for mochi or donuts. I didn't find myself to be the biggest fan of deep fried mochi and though it has a nice texture to it, it just wasn't for me. I do like their variety of flavor options but when I went, they were pretty low on just about all of them. These are also very expensive compared to a normal donut. I would not go out of my way to try again unless there was a really unique flavor.

Christine P.

Yelp
I'm so glad Pearland finally got a mochi donut place! I've been obsessed with mochi donuts ever since I first tried it a few years ago, and unfortunately to get them around the Houston area, I would have to drive very far for it (either Chinatown or Sugar Land area). If you've never tried a mochi donut before, I highly recommend it. Something about the texture with the chewiness is just so good. I love the flavors that they have. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any flavor. The flavors that I've tried and highly recommend: -black sesame -strawberry -ube The flavors are not too overpowering and you don't feel heavy after eating the donut. It's not too crazy sweet compared to regular donuts, which I honestly like. Each one is made here to perfection because it just looks so aesthetic and you will definitely feel the need to take a picture of it when you get it. The service here was great too when I came. I highly recommend!

Julianne D.

Yelp
Overall, the Mochinuts that we selected tasted decent. The strawberry one (left of photo) that we ordered had the best taste. The other two tasted pretty plain even though they had toppings on them. For a three pack of Mochinuts, it costs $9 - a bit pricey if you ask me! When we arrived, it was empty, so our order was ready in seconds. I wanted to order a boba drink since they have them on the menu, but the selection to pick from was slim. I ended up ordering a Vietnamese coffee with boba instead. The inside of the establishment was quaint and they had various games to pick and play from. They even have a selfie area with a floral wall with chairs.

Moni T.

Yelp
Tried the cookies and cream flavor, it was delicious. I love the flavor and the texture of their mochi donuts, taste fresh and not too sweet.

Ha C.

Yelp
Next to Costco shopping center and open parking lot. They do close early, so don't plan to come after 7pm. We went twice to try the hot cheeto & whole mozzarella cheeese dog and the dough is just too thick that it wasn't holding up with the chopstick and just a complete mess barely eating in. My kid had a tough time eating it and was hoping to achieve a cheese pull when she had a cheese dog. Mochi donut are decent, icing and texture are unique and bouncy. I tried the Thai Tea, not bad, I asked for no Boba, but there was boba in it.

Yasmin S.

Yelp
Since I loved the location in Bellaire, I decided to try this one out since it's closer. To start, I feel like the donuts were slightly overcooked, and the marshmallow flavor was underwhelming. To me, it just tastes like a regular glazed donut. I also tried the hot Cheetos half since I loved it before.. I'm not sure if it's because this location is smaller or what, but they charge .75 cents for cheese when it's free at the other location. And also, they don't put spicy Mayo on the top of the rice dog here either. When I take another visit to Mochinut, it will most likely be the other location.

Chencia H.

Yelp
I finally stopped into Mochinut to try their mochi donuts and I love them. I've been back twice in three days and its only twice (and not thrice) because they are closed on Tuesdays. These mochi donuts are light, fluffy, pillow soft, with a surprisingly crispy outside. I thought texture might be an issue here because mochi is too soft for my liking, but the crisp outside and slight crunch of the icing makes these perfect. They are a little pricey (3 for $9) but since they are more complex than regular yeast donuts, I understand. They also sell Korean corndogs and milk tea. I haven't tried any of that yet, but I'll update if I do. The donut flavors I've tried are below. -Original. Really good. A light icing that tasted like vanilla. A standard neutral flavor but not boring at all. -Marshmallow chocolate. This gave me the s'mores feel that I expected from the s'mores donut. The marshmallow and chocolate combo was so good together. -S'mores. The chocolate is more dark chocolate than I was expecting. Not bad, but not as sweet/decadent as I was expecting. -Dragonfruit. This is probably my favorite so far. The dragonfruit icing is so such a mellow sweetness and goes so well with the donut that I wish I'd bought six of those instead of assorted.

Shae S.

Yelp
Service was sweet! Got potato, blue takis and hot Cheetos corn dogs. They were really good & everything I expected. The Dragon mango green tea was a 10/10 as well. I have to try the doughnuts next time.

Yelp
I was headed over to R&B tea in Pearland yesterday and saw just a few doors down that Mochinut had recently opened, so I decided to give it a try. It's a small, cute shop serving a select number of items include boba tea, mochinuts, and savory snacks. I've had mochi donuts once before and didn't care for them too much because the texture was pretty chewy/mushy, but these weren't like that at all. The mouth feel of these mochi donuts was really good! Not airy like a glazed donut from Shipley's, but also not heavy and chewy. I got churro, ube, and macha and thought all were good, but the ube was my favorite! The Thai tea would have been perfect for my husband who LOVES very sweet drinks, but I am usually the type to order 25% or 50% sugar at places where you can customize the sweetness, so this was overly sweet for me. Once the ice melted and watered down the drink I liked it better as it wasn't quite so super sweet. I'm honestly not sure I'd order tea from there again, but I will definitely consider their mochi donuts the next time I have a sweet tooth!

Claudine L.

Yelp
Cute little place to try Korean style corn dogs and donuts. I liked the airiness of the donut and that it was not to sweet. I enjoyed the icing, however my husband did not. I had a Thai tea and it was okay but I have had better. The boba was a bit chewy. The corn dog was very good. I got the half and half potato with the sugar on the outside. My husband had the jalapeño dog with sausage only. They both were fresh and flavorful. I would come back to get the dog again maybe just with cheese. The tables could have been kept up better.

Jonisha T.

Yelp
I'm so happy that there is a location in Pearland! I've been meaning to check them out and I'm so glad I did. The flavors we tried today were churro, strawberry funnel cake, and chocolate w/cocoa pebbles. We also got Thai tea and brown sugar boba. I loved everything! Can't wait to go back and try the different flavors.

Allen Q.

Yelp
So glad Mochinut has come to Pearland! We swung by today after our Costco trip and were very glad we did, since they were having a soft opening. They had a limited selection of mochinuts + boba, no hot dogs. We got the ube, cookies and cream, and churro. The ube was definitely the most bland out of the three - I couldn't taste the ube that much. However, the churro and cookies and cream were much better. The cookies and cream skews on the sweeter side with the icing but we enjoyed it. The texture on all three were great, a perfect cross between mochi and donut. We didn't order any drinks this time around but they come in very neat transparent plastic cans with the pop tops (think an elongated soda can) which was very cool!

Julie V.

Yelp
I came here because I wanted to experience this mochinut that everyone has been talking about but I fell in love with their hotdog. Which is weird since I don't really even care for hotdogs TBH. We tried a few different mochinuts. We tried the three pack and chose the original, matcha, and fruity pebbles. I enjoyed the chewier texture of these compared to normal donuts and while they were all good, I think the original was my favorite. Now on the main event. We impulsively added on a Cheeto hotdog to our order at the last minute. Best. Decision. Ever. It did take a while to cook but it was served very hot and fresh. The sausage (or whatever a hotdog is) has a strong beef flavor, the breading was just the perfect hint of sweet, and the flaming Cheetos dusting is everything I hoped it would be. It kind of reminded me of when I would add Cheetos to my lunchmeat sandwiches as a kid. It came with a sauce that is similar to a sriracha mayo that just elevated the whole experience. The three pack of mochinut was $9 and the hotdog was around $5. I'm sure I'Il be craving these in the future, will probably save them for a special treat.

Uvie U.

Yelp
These things are like little circular pinwheels of heaven. Super delicious. The texture is Chewier than a regular donut and I love how essentially a bite is preset for you. Great for a fun date night post dinner dessert. And yes...very instagrammable. Lol. I got the Reeses pb, Nutella and red velvet. All good but the Nutella was the best. I didn't really get a lot of peanut butter or red velvet flavor from the other 2. I'd like to try the churro next time. The potato mozzarella dog was strange. Not terrible just strange. I almost wish they didn't have this. The sauces they offer are delicious but I don't think I really liked the actual mozzarella dog. Maybe I'll try the regular dog next time. This almost made me give this a 4 star review. Ambience and service was awesome. Great up and coming plaza with tons of parking and right next door to costco. Final grade: A- Definitely returning.

Kim T.

Yelp
I came here after 1 hour when they opened up. The mochinuts were delicious because it was made not too long ago. The flavors do get changed up but I haven't been back for a couple weeks now. The staff were great as well! There's a cute spot to take pics at.

Alyssa E.

Yelp
Was waiting for this place to open and got 3 Mochi donuts during their soft opening! I tried the ube, fruity pebbles, and cookies and cream . Ube- was expecting a little bit more flavor on this one since I love ube, but out of the 3, I would say this is less flavorful. Fruity pebbles- honestly really good! Don't really have much to say about it but flavor was there and wasn't too sweet! Cookies and cream- omg this one was so so good. Would highly recommend, I wish I would've gotten more of this one! Overall, the donuts themselves were soft and chewy and really fun to eat! Although I didn't get to try out their boba or hotdogs, I can't wait till their grand opening and try out more (:

Linda E.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. A subtle twist on a corn dog & donuts. The usual flavors are there but the dough seems more airy & chewy that simply improve upon the originals. My absolute favorite is the churro mochinut & original half cheese half hot dog! I was tempted to try the hot cheetos flavored corn dog but opted for tge original. This was fun to try & I absolutely loved it.

Ann R.

Yelp
Came here when I was in the area, got a half/half hotdog just to try it and it was delicious! Cheese pull was perfection! Tried cream filled mochi ball, cream was light and sweet. Going to go home to try the donuts. Will definitely come back to try other options of their hot dog.

Jenni G.

Yelp
These are not at all anywhere near cheese fries it has more of the Cheeto powder than cheese waste of $4. I don't about y'all but I think of cheese fries I think of fries smothered in cheese.

Sofia B.

Yelp
The donuts are really good, but the customer service is ALWAYS deplorable. I thought that they just had their bad days, but they just always seem like they wake up on the wrong side of the bed. They also refuse to accept cash even though it is legal tender and yet they still want people to fill up their tip jar with CASH ‍

Katie D.

Yelp
Super fun, really delicious! The guys behind the counter were awesome and patient with us, as we decided all of the goodies we wanted. We ate in and as with most shops like this, there wasn't a ton of space, but plenty of room for my family of four and other customers as well. Will be back. :)

Charley Y.

Yelp
Was feeling the sweet tooth yearn and noticed there was a new MochiNut location near my weekly shopping center in Pearland! Stopped by to check out the selection and we decided to try a little of bit of the entire menu. They appear to be a family-owned franchisee and the shop felt quite homey & kid-friendly. The Korean street dogs came out perfectly- nice fry and you are able to pair a signature sauce with each dog. The taste of the mochi-donuts were also fine, but my one complaint was that it didn't seem to live up to value. The 3-pack came out to $3 per donut. The bubble tea also left much to be desired. Overall, the presentation is great but there is certainly room for improvement.

Jose U.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to this location to open, right now they are having a soft opening and the donuts are so good and fluffy. I got one of every flavor they offer and so far my whole family loves the donuts. This coming Thursday 4/7, they be adding the corn dogs which look amazing.

Morgan W.

Yelp
I have been hearing about this cute donut shop. This place has an original flavor but they change the flavor/toppings of the donuts regularly. The best way to try is to just stop by an order a box. Six donuts made from rice flour. Six distinct flavors. You really can't go wrong!

Yelisa G.

Yelp
Love it!! Check this picture out!! U won't regret when you go on bucket list to try this out!!!

Vy N.

Yelp
Cute little shop! Glad this is close by instead of having to go to China town for this type of dessert. The staff here have all been super friendly and helpful. There's a few choices to choose from and so far everything has been tasty. This is our 3rd time visiting and the new flavors are delicious.

Karen M.

Yelp
Giving it 5 stars because it was amazing, delicious, very clean & amazing customer service! Shoutout to Moira and Sarah they were the sweetest on helping me out they deserve the world. Churro and sprinkles mochinuts were very delicious. Hot cheeto half & half and the potatoe half and half was finger licking good . For sure will be going back !

B M.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner. Potato half and half with mango habenero sauce is where it's at! Staff is friendly and fast. Ube drink was a little too sweet but the pineapple passion fruit fresh tea is delicious. The donuts are so warm and fresh. Definitely worth eating there.

Sidney P.

Yelp
Was absolutely amazing the owner was there and she was by far the sweetest and extremely helpful!! 10 out of 10 they even had a cute spot for selfies !!

Anj G.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday afternoon and they said they're sold out of mochinuts. Seriously?! On a weekend at that?! Make sure you guys have enough on weekends coz you guys just lost customers.

Barbara B.

Yelp
The service is terrible and they have a kitchen, but never enough donuts. I'm not going back.

Kara R.

Yelp
So cute!! I tried the churro and original and warmed them up. They were delicious! Also the 2 little girl helpers were great!! :) def worth checking out if you like donuts!

Taylor R.

Yelp
Place has always been great, glad they are expanding since the one in china town was so far!

Jamie M.

Yelp
Their hot dogs are good (my fav is the hot Cheetos one). Drinks can be a bit sugary. And there's usually a good variety of donut flavors every week. Would definitely recommend trying!

Jamla W.

Yelp
Fun little spot! Ordered some donuts and a hotdog. From the outside, driving by, I would have never guessed this establishment had hotdogs too. There's no signage about that so pleasant surprise. The donuts are so pretty in the box. I wish you were not forced to purchase 3 or more($10). Often times I just want a little snack to go with my coffee. 3 is very overwhelming for 1 person, especially since donuts are not handy to save for later since they become stale. Donuts were delicious, much better when warmed up. The hotdog was hot and fresh, loved the crispy texture. I wish they had ranch offered as a dipping sauce. I look forward to returning to try other flavors.

Thomas D.

Yelp
Delicious donuts! If you've never had a mochi donut you have to give these a try. Employees are super helpful and friendly. Can't wait to try the hotdogs and drinks next time.

Lee L.

Yelp
I ordered a few donuts and a hot dog to be delivered. The presentation was super cute. The donuts have that weird oily aftertaste, but at first bite taste good. The texture is unique. The mango yuzu was my favorite flavor. I got the hot Cheetos hot dog. It was so delicious. Did I feel horrible after eating it? Absolutely. I don't typically eat fried food, so this was a tasty treat but I don't know if I would come here again. However, I am glad to have tried it out!

K V.

Yelp
A delicious treat! Our faves were strawberry, blueberry, matcha and churro. Soft chewy texture and much less sweet than a donut, which we really loved. Clean and comfy interior and friendly helpful service. Added bonus: a couple of kiddos helping out the fam. They helped us choose our flavors. Finally we got one drink-matcha with boba and again, just right and not too sweet. Comes in a "can" instead of the typical plastic sealed top. Overall a bit more pricy than donuts, but a lovely, fun and very shareable treat (as you can pull off a 'bead' to share.)

syndie d.

Yelp
First time trying a Mochinut and didn't know what to order. Ask the employee what she recommended but she had an attitude. Other than the customer service. Mochinut was good!!

Kashe M.

Yelp
This place is wonderful. They have different flavors daily, a TV and clean bathroom with good smelling soap. I appreciate that they greet you as you walk in and it's easy ordering. The donuts all look so perfect. I wish we had one on the East side of Pearland.

Sakun H.

Yelp
Best donuts in town .. love the service... I don't normally eat donuts but this place is a must if you are ever in town
