MOD Pizza

We’ve probably been to this restaurant at least 10 times, and it never disappoints. The customer service is always on point, the food is consistently hot and fresh, and the salad is always crisp and refreshing. I honestly don’t know how they do it, but we love this place!

Everything about this place was fantastic! Literally, you can put anything you want on your pizza. Food was delicious, service was perfect and everything was clean. I really appreciated the energy of the staff! I will be back!

The customer service in this location is Average compared to others I’ve been to. It’s chaotic when they are busy and hard to get exactly what you ask for. My pizza was unevenly cooked, but it tastes alright! Overall, not bad but not excellent! Nice clean store and plenty of tables.

TRASH! My wife ordered this and didn't check it before she left. There is literally a hole in my pizza, enough said... trash. Is this a joke. You waisted my time and money. Extremely disrespectful Joe. You knew what happened and should have just re-made the pizza. Instead we have to waist more time calling for a refund...

I ordered the mad dog with cauliflower crust and dairy free cheese because I'm sensitive to gluten and dairy. I chose to take it home and sadly I didn't enjoy it. It was like I was eating cardboard. It's my first time experiencing this at Mod Pizza. The staff was very courteous and the restaurant area was clean

It's really a hit or miss! Depends on who is there. Hadn't eaten there in over a year because it's not consistent, decided to go and the guy making the pizza didn't want to be at work. He also added something spicy to my pizza but acted like it was nothing major...I WAS SPICY AS HECK! Next time I will need a new pizza. This is why I cook because you can't get good help nowhere. Smh

Unlike every other Mod Pizza I have visited, the toppings aren't next to the line, so you either need to know what you want (probably difficult for first-time diners) or you need to read the lists on the easy-to-miss stickers on the glass in the line. People were nice and food was good, but for someone like me who is a spur-of-the-moment ordered, it was a disappointing experience. The men's restroom was also gross.

I seldomly leave reviews, even when I have bad experiences. Came to this place since it opened up and the quality of service, time to receive a meal has significantly degraded over time. Additionally, they skimp out on toppings unless you request extra or hover over them while they make it. Do better.

I planned my stop at this location since the night before as I needed to pick up lunch and drive across town and meet my grandson for grandparents lunch @ school. I was at their doors sharp at 10:30 am, the minute I walked in was welcomed with, we are NOT ready! I asked how much longer, he said 10 mins. 10 mins passed and walked in totally ignored, I asked the guy to waved when he was ready. As he looked bothered I sat in the car. But at 10:45 a guy walks in and is being served. I ran in and I said so you are ready and his answer was I have 2 orders ahead of you. I was appalled, but still waited in line. Another person came out the back and took my order. I wanted to say so many things to this person, but kept my cool. What is more sad this was my first time at a MOD's Pizza and they left me so disappointed., I don't know why I was treated so badly!

Can't go wrong with Mod pizza for lunch or anytime really. Service is always good and obviously it's made to how you order. Except my Caesar salad had tomatoes in it for some reason. I did walk away after ordering it so I didn't see them add tomatoes till after I had left. I did have to ask for a fork and napkins as there was none available. I was told they don't put them out because people steal them. Guess I'll have to restock somewhere else.

Good food!! Customer service is nice! I would return. I wish they would start carrying Turkey pepperoni, no pizza place does...

MOD Pizza is a fast-casual pizza chain known for its customizable pies and laid-back atmosphere. With a ton of locations in Houston, it's a popular choice for those seeking a personalized pizza experience. Having had great experiences at the Galleria San Felipe location in the past, we decided to give the MOD Pizza on Memorial. Unfortunately, our visit didn't live up to our expectations. The place had plenty of staff that were distracted and were running in and out of the back area, checking their phones, taking a break and the person responsible for making my Hawaiian style pizza wanted to be anywhere else than making pizzas. Absolutely no eye contact was made during our interaction. And his unenthusiastic of sprinkling toppings on my personalized pizza gave me the impression that he didn't want to be making pizzas. Results...a mediocre pizza. To add to the disappointment, as we were eating, I looked around the the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. The tables were visibly dirty, and scattered trash on the floor detracted from the dining experience. Based on our visit, we will not be returning to this location.

Mod is always good in my opinion but what set this one apart was that the guy who took our orders was super friendly and funny. They have a nice outdoor seating area which was nice to sit in! Inside was a little cold for our liking. But the pizza was delicious, as usual!

I used to be a big fan of MOD pizza, as I could customize it to my liking, but then just stopped going as part of my low carb lifestyle. . We went here recently after a very long time, I would say at least 5-7 years. The first thing I Noticed was that I could substitute the crust for cauliflower crust, so we were back in business. We got our pizzas with cauliflower crust and the other one with the gluten-free crust. As you can tell by the photos that the toppings were stacked and packed on our pizza. All your favorite toppings are available and you can ask for as much as you like on the pizza. I also learned that MOD pizza has a reward program now where 150 points gives you a free pizza, and you get a point for every dollar spent. Make sure to download their app.

I like the concept and they offer vegan friendly pizza options including faux cheese and faux sausage I like the thinner style crust and the marinara sauce is delicious without being overly spicy.

My kids and I came here to eat for the very first time.I have been at several mod pizza locations due to me doing door dashing and have always been curious to try their pizza and see what's all the fuss about since I'm constantly hearing how good the pizza is. I decided to get 2 mini pizzas (6 inch) I believe it was the Mad Dog (meat lovers) the kids size pizza is really small! For my son I definitely should have ordered him a bigger size because he was still hungry after eating the pizza. The customer service was ok. The workers were helpful and there was no long wait either which was great! There sweet tea is actually pretty good too. I tasted a bite of my son's pizza and I didn't think it was anything special. Maybe we should've tried a 'create your own' pizza. The mini small pizza was about $8 each. From what I tasted not worth the price, however I think we'll give this place a second chance and try another pizza.

Great location! I appreciate how the young guys take care of that place even though sometimes are very busy. They are never rude. They are always so cordial and kind. Best location.

This place is great! On my visit I was promptly greeted and because I was the only person in at the time (in as soon as it opened) me and the lady enjoyed a nice conversation. She was super friendly and accommodating. The place was also very clean and comfortable to be in. The pizza she prepared was very balanced given that I asked for ALOT of toppings lol. I got a Mod sized pizza that I was planning on eating half now, half later but it was so good I finished the whole thing in one sitting. I've been to other locations before so with this being my first time at this location, I have a very favorable impression of this company. Excellence!

Im not sure if mod pizza is known for burnt pizza.. but that is what i got. First time trying the place after hearing great things about the place. I came here for lunch, and they advertise super fast... but it actually took my pizza about 25-30 minutes (from beginning to actually receiving the pizza in hand)... again not sure if thats normal... but doesn't seem "super fast." It took a while to even have someone take my order because they were so focused on online orders. The line of people waiting didn't seem to bother them. If u ever do try the place, i would recommend ordering online if ur taking away and maybe even noting "not burnt"

I've come here a few times and each time, the experience is about the same. I find this to be one of my preferred pizza places for the simple fact that you can switch up your order (even though we all know I get the same thing lol) Atmosphere/Service- The atmosphere is very chill. It almost has a hipster vibe, which is cool. When you walk in, you go up to the front and first decide what size pizza you'd like, which sauce and then your toppings. It's fairly quick but make sure you talk in a louder voice because sometimes the background noise is a lot. Everyone's pretty friendly there and they seem to be helpful if you've never been there before, which is nice. Food- I always get the MOD sized pizza. It's a generous portion and if you're someone who can't eat a lot in one sitting, you'll definitely have leftovers. On my pizza, I get the red sauce, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, pineapple (yes, pineapple does belong on pizza), blue cheese, jalapeños, red onions, mushrooms, black olives and sometimes the seasoning at the end. It sounds kind of gross, but it's really good. I like that you can choose WHATEVER toppings you want. You don't get charged for two meats VS just one, if that makes sense. The pizza always come out nice and hot from the brick oven they use and the crust has the right amount of crunch to it. Overall, I enjoy going here for a quick lunch or even a dinner if I want something quick and easy. I'll definitely be back!

This was unfortunately the first time I stepped into this MOD's location and the last. I normally love MOD's and was excited to find out I had one nearby. I ordered an online pickup order and the second I walked in it was mayhem. Seemed like the employees had no flow of how to work together. Lines of people waiting for food. No structure. At least 4 customers who came in after me received their order before mine had even been looked at. The only good thing I could say about this place was how the manager handled so many disgruntled customers. She was under a lot of stress and she took the time to apologize to each one of us, offer us a beverage, and even offered me a refund due to how long I waited. I appreciated that very much, but it did not make up for the overall horrible experience.

I have been coming to MOD Pizza for quite a while and there are no complaints. The moment you walk in you're greeted with excitement and wonderful energy. Recommend for a family night out or if you're trying to grab lunch or dinner.

Waited in line for ten minutes. There are about 8 people behind making pizza but not one person acknowledges any of us in line. Ten minutes go by then finally someone comes up and tells everyone (now about ten people) that it will be 45 minutes until they can take our order. Unbelievable. Not even the one star.

A friend and I went in here and asked for a FORK. A 2 cent plastic fork and they wouldn't give us one. Because we hadn't bought anything. Bad customer service. We will never be back.

Last two times I've been here it has taken MORE THAN 35 MINUTES for them to make a mini for my daughter. A mini!!! This is the SLOWEST mod pizza in Houston. Seriously this is absurd!

this place is definitely laid back. This was my first visits. I ordered a Mod size pizza, 11 inch size, I found out there is not any bigger size pizza, 11 inch is it. Well for me this not my type of pizza, if you are a light eater, this pizza may work for you. I think the pizza box weighted more than the pizza. LOL...

Very slow... Waited half an hour..... you're better off going to another place, so far the slowest I've been to.

The conditions at this location was very unsanitary. I requested a refund after seeing all of the trash on the floor. When I spoke to the on-site manager he was not friendly and stated it was a rush. There is no excuse for these conditions.

Ordered via your app and received pizza soggy and cold, with toppings stacked in the center. Missing dessert. Sucks.

Very nice staff, all young; one may think they're careless. Very far from that, smiles from when the door opens till when the customer leaves. Ingredients are fresh and plentiful, pizza is made fast. I had a custom made one and may try the house specials next time. Great news?! They have wine to go! The restaurant is clean, has an industrial vibe to it with AC vents and pipes sticking out. If I crave pizza I'll def stop by if I'm in the area again.

We usually love MOD pizza, the establishment and "brick oven" style pizza. Pretty disappointed at this location. A bunch of unprofessional Kids playing and gossiping with one another. Only two people in front of me and took longer than it should to get through the line. I mean the guys couldn't make the pizzas with out stopping to banter and play with one another.

This was my first time coming to this location. I ordered online and picked up through curbside. I called the number posted on the curbside spot 2 times before someone could even answer me. I waited 11 minutes past the guarantee ready time. Once I finally received my pizza it was not even a little warm, it was cold like it has been sitting for some time. Never will eat here again!

Love MOD but this location.. just don't order for delivery . Pizza is burnt, order is just ....disappointing.

10/1/2022 the staff on this shift didn't seem happy to be here or were just unhappy people. My order seemed like an inconvenience to the ladies working on the line but were happy to laugh amongst each other. I was not in a rush at all but the manager on site had no sense of urgency. My order was very similar to the deal they have running and there was no mention of the deal. I waited 10 minutes which seemed like a long time as I saw others after me were getting their pizza. I got impatient and went to check on my order and it had been sitting there. My name was never called. Extremely unsatisfied with this STAFF and it needs to be improved. Food is always as expected. Someone needs to contact me if they would like further information in regards to this terrible experience.

I always have a good experience at MOD. I have recently gotten into getting the double layer of pizza dough (I forgot the exact name of it on the menu), and it tastes so good. They have different pizzas you can choose from, or you can make your own with various toppings and sauces. I choose to go with the latter. I usually get white sauce, grilled chicken, chicken sausage, onions, olives, roasted peppers, garlic and jalepeños. I also love the lemonade. They also have an app, so you can earn rewards and even get offers (last time I went, I got a BOGO deal!)

As part of the #NoMeatChallenge I had to get creative. This pizza includes basil, roasted broccoli, garlic and corn, red peppers, oregano, spinach, jalapenos, and dairy free cheese topped with their red sauce. Surprisingly REALLY good!!

This is the second time I have done take out from this location, and just like last time, there was a problem with the pizza. I understand the world is turned upside down at the moment, and that you are probably swarmed with take-out orders... But pleaseeee don't make me sick by giving undercooked pizza dough. I'm giving a 2 star because I've dined in at this location numerous times, and it has always been amazing and perfectly cooked pizza.. But consistency is key for me, even (especially) in a time like this.

This time they actually did a good job of putting a lot of stuff that i like on it one time it was too little even tho i wanted like everything on it they owuld only put a little of everything but the point of getting everything is that it would be ALOT lol

Delicious Pizza This is my new favorite pizza place! Unlimited toppings 11inch pizza for $7.87 you can't beat that with a stick. The service is always great and the staff is friendly. I have tried just about every topping they have all are yummy. **Beer and Wine is available** Since I have started eating here I have not visited any other pizza places. One you try this place you will be hooked. My only complaint about this location is all the construction. It can be difficult to get in and out because streets are blocked. At MOD Pizza you get more but pay less.

5 stars on customer service alone. I haven't even gotten my pizza, but the people working here are phenomenal. I hope management reads these because the staff on shift tonight is amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and it's my first time here. I will be back based on the service alone!

If you like pizza with fresh ingredients look no further. Try make it your way no matter what way you like pizza. Stand in line and ask for whatever on it. Mad dog is my favorite. No pizza is better at this price point.

Nice, clean place with very friendly service. I loved the thin crust pizza and the free sauces to try with the cheesey "bread" (really just a plain no-topping pizza). Unfortunately, the pizza and the white sauce just didn't have much flavor to it.

This is not your average Pizza place. If your not feeling creative you can simply order a pizza from the menu. But that's no fun. You walk up and tell them the size personal Pizza you want. The small is called a Mini the Medium is a Mod. The Mod is the perfect size and its a nice thin crust. You then tell them exactly what you want on the pizza. You choose your sauces your meats and your cheeses and they make it right there in front of you. Think of it like a Subway Shop for Pizzas but a lot better quality. They slide it into the oven and its out before you know it. I know what your thinking but yes one Mod Pizza is enough food for the average appetite.

Finished online order at 7:26pm on a Saturday. Indicates order will be ready at 7:46. It's 8:09pm and they can't tell me when it will be ready. :( .........8:33pm and still no one can tell us how long until the order is ready. Stay away from this place.

I've always been a fan of MOD. This review is specifically for this location. Considering how busy this place gets in the evenings, I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly all the staff were! Food was served quickly (as to be expected of MOD), and staff were constantly on the move (returning condiments, cleaning, assembling pizzas.... Not that in that order). With all the chaos that ensued, I have to admit I left the establishment happy and with a full belly.

No complaints here....pick a pizza...or make your own blend... My pizza os always packed with vegs....and they still get it cooked perfectly! Always nice people working! Even when the lunch line is longgggggggg And the "hostess ding dong"....sitting near the register, wrapped in foil, is a must!

Same concept as Blaze. There's a preset menu, make your own, or modify a preset pizza. The prices were the same too, about $8ish for a pizza. They offered a mini (kids size) or an 11 inch one. I think Blaze offers more toppings/sauces, but Mod had a lot too. I got an 11 inch pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and Parmesan. The pizza dough was very good and kind of reminded me of Naan bread with the texture and softness. He decor was very hip and modern and the workers friendly. They even came to check on us a couple times and took away empty plates.

Waited in line for over 10 minutes we went to the restroom came back and the line had not moved at all. I understand taking care of online orders but when you have a line in store with over 5 people in line I think it's more important to take care of the orders in front of you rather than trying to push online orders out. They have had customers walk out because they refuse to acknowledge the customers in line. This will be will be my last time visiting this location. It's clear that customer service is not a priority. The worker finally apologized for the 15+ minute wait and said that online orders take priority over in store customer regardless of how long we have been in the store. It's honestly ridiculous that this is there policy

I'm really digging this place! I love everything about it really. It's Subway style pizza and it's all one price. You can go simple or load that baby up and it's still the same price! Jump in line and start piling on what you want or pick from their pre-selected topping pizzas. The ingredients are fresh and they have more unique options than your typical pizza joint. Yummy roasted broccoli, roasted garlic, sun dried tomatoes, feta cheese, pesto - they got it. I really love their crust too - thin and crispy! I've had take out and eat in ... both were great! The interior is spacious and has a great rustic industrial feel to it. They also have local brews which I love! Want to bring fido for some pizza and beer? No problem - outdoor seating is available! Service has always been good as well. This is definatly going to be our pizza joint from here on out!

Usually a nice place to get a quick pizza. Not this time. We lined up for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us even though we were the only people waiting. Finally got served and after waiting 49 minutes for our pizza went up to ask and they told me they were busy and when I mentioned the people after us had their pizza was given attitude. Sat down for a further 10 minutes and when my husband went up to enquire was told they'd thrown it in the bin because they'd called our name numerous times and no one had claimed the pizza. So much attitude. Took another 10 minutes to receive a refund. No apology just accusations that it was our fault for not hearing a tiny woman whisper our name in a room of 40 people all waiting. They probably don't want us back but the feeling is mutual.

I gave this place FIVE highly coveted stars because not only is the pizza delicious but the service is actually like 10 stars. My husband and I live in the area and we consistently have the same pleasant experience every time we go. Mod pizza is this new hipster pizza place where you order as many toppings and such on your pizza. You can do the single crust or double crust. Single crust is thin crust. Double crush is two single crusts layered on each other. Yes it's a bit odd. I had no idea what it was despite numerous explanations until I ordered it. It's good but I prefer thin crust. You know.. lower carb and all that. Anyways, as many toppings as you want!!! And these toppings are legit. You have like gargonzola cheese, artichoke, broccoli?!?, garlic, sausage, Canadian bacon, corn just to name a few. The servers there are top notch. Always so upbeat and friendly. We had a mess up with an order once and the employees there handled it so well and made sure everything was taken care of to our satisfaction. Jennifer specifically is amazing and somehow, she remembers customers names! Very impressive. She's always so sweet and so personable. Really, it's the people here that make us keep coming back. This location is our pizza home.

The concept is cute, and the customer service was great. However, management need to step in and do a thorough clean sweep of the place. Sanitation wise the place was disgusting. When we walked in food was everywhere, they weren't doing a thorough job of cleaning the compartments after servicing each customer. The trash was over flowing, w/ pieces of meat/ food on the floor, we saw a roach were the bottled drinks was kept, there were used dirty cups by the fountain drinks the couch was disgusting w/ black staines. We opted to sit outside. Would have definitely given this place a five star, but it's too dirty inside. Won't be coming back again. Management please step in!!

This particular location is surrounded by construction. You have to be careful of which parking lot you turn in to. It's not a problem but you'll have to walk across. Pretty good thin crust pizza. My crust was burnt but it wasn't a big deal. The staff is very personable and patient. They explained the different choices and sizes. They even made suggestions that were very helpful. Good options for toppings.

First time here and the pizza was awesome!! Definitely coming back!! Service was great!!
