MOD Pizza

The food is always good. I absolutely love the crust, and the fresh veggies to choose from. Today though we went in and ordered 3 pizzas and the guy put all the cheese and toppings on mostly one side of the pizzas. When I asked for more cheese he literally grabbed a pinch and dropped it right in the middle. It was so weird. Then when he was making the other 2 I asked if he could spread out the toppings so it's not all on one side he said sure and proceeded to put most of the toppings on one side again. I've never been so frustrated. We don't like to cause a scene, and it was pretty busy so we just ate our pizzas, but we won't be going back.

I love this location. I go here with my kids all the time. It’s fast, it’s affordable, it’s delicious. My only complaint is that the outdoor section could use a little help every now and then.

Good friendly service, good food. My concerns(unresolved issues) have only been on portion sizes even after paying more $ for extra toppings to be added to my pizza, yet there was zero difference between my other non additional added topings comparatively. Visually make sure they actually provide more product for the additional cost on your request(s). Other than that all good 👍 😉.

4/29/24 Still a fantastic place with the friendliest employees ever!!! They need a raise!!! Or they need a bigger tip jar 😉 My very first MOD pizza establishment I've had the pleasure to visit!!! To start it off, the employees were simply perfect... Polite, helpful, and cool!!! The salads and personal pizzas are to die for!!!!! Hugely impressed... I'll be back many times!!!

Ordered ahead, when picking up employees acted like I was stupid for asking if there was sauce with the bread (there wasn’t any) and if there was ranch. Service was seriously lacking and half of what we ordered on our pizza wasn’t on it. Definitely not what they used to be.

While visiting one of our close neighbors I had the Maddie cheese pizza & played with several different sauces. This was my first time in the store as I’m new to Oregon having relocated within Dick’s Sporting Goods now to Public Lands. I really enjoyed MOD pizza’s brick oven style, it was fast quick & convenient over a 30 minute lunch break. I was able to relax & enjoy my flight of sauces which gave a new twist on a classic favorite. I also enjoyed the drink selection and couldn’t decide between something cool in a bottle or their home brew juice but we share a parking lot so I’m sure I’ll be back to support my neighbor soon.

The worst MOD we’ve ever been to! We came in before the dinner rush. We were barely greeted and even seemed like we interrupting there little standing around get together when we walked in. The place was trashed. Every table was dirty. The floor was covered in trash. The drink station was even worse. Don’t get me started on what behind the counter looked like. Disgusting! I didn’t dare to go in the bathrooms. The new guy was trying his hardest to give us more toppings but the manager kept rudely correcting him over his shoulder. We had to ask 3 or 4 times for more of the same topping. For each topping. The 3 pizzas weren’t put on the same order so the first pizza we got was cold by the time we got the other 2. All around a disappointing experience. Do better Medford.

I'm a delivery driver and I literally the past three times I picked up the pizzas are cold you guys do absolutely nothing to try to keep them warm for us delivery drivers and we're the ones that get in trouble because of your lack of attention and follow through. I have to put the pizzas on my dash on seriously high heat to warm them back up for the customer because you guys literally don't give a crap. I'll be posting a video as well

What do you like on your thin crust pizza? They have it. I like getting a different combination of meats, veggies, spices each time. A single is big enough I can get two full meals out of it. The price is reasonable too! I really like MOD Pizza's vibe. Check it out!

I don't even know why I tried this BS... Don't get me wrong, the service, was excellent.... Truly, the employees were so kind and cared about quality. Other than that, it was pretty garbage. Just go and get a slice from some local spot, you'll save money and not waste your money on a shitty chipotle style Little Ceasars.

Have always loved Mod, great place to get a personal pizza at a great price. Still decent price, but last 3 visits the pizza has almost no toppings on them. Got a 3 topping mod size pizza that had 4 pepperoni pieces, 3 pieces of sausage on the whole pizza and 1 slice with nothing on it but sauce. No cheese, no meat.. nothing. Other pizza had 2 slices that had nothing on them. Rest of the 5 topping pizza had maybe a small child's handful of toppings. My work used to order here pretty often, but keep being disappointed with recent quality and lack of toppings. I think this will be our last time here for a while.

We dined in at this MOD Pizza location on our way back from Seattle. Ordered couple of pizzas - sausage and pepperoni, Sausage and garlic. It was very average pizza at best. I wouldn't recommend unless you have no other options.

This restaurant is constantly filthy, and run by teenagers who are obviously stoned out of their mind. Went in the day after thanks giving and the lady taking the order actually dropped her pen into the sauce. After ordering a vegetarian pizza it came out with meatballs spilled all over it. I explained the problem 3 or 4 times to the lady behind the counter, but she was either too high or had to low of an IQ to understand, left hungry mad and ripped off. Complained to corporate and they said they didn't care.

Pizza was dry and inedible. There was hardly any cheese, sauce or any other toppings to make it worth the money

Well mod pizza you suck! you take all the phone orders and make us wait in line for 20/25 minutes and don't even take our orders, or acknowledge that were even there. What is that all about? Didn't even get to get my lunch I had to go back to work and not have any lunch because of you idiotsdo better people

First time there - will definitely be trying them and other locations . Novel approach to pizza, ordering and pricing ( you'll love it ) food was delicious, nice atmosphere. It's not fancy but for a casual experience it's just right . Imagine ordering a pizza the way you order a sandwich - super easy and personal. The dessert cakes are great, too.

Pizza was disappointing, the crust is so thin and the the toppings are sparse, bare minimum. The garlic cheese bread was so over cooked the cheese was burnt and hard. Not worth the one bite. Overpriced. I paid way more than this cardboard food was worth. Service was good. The ladies were pleasant. The seating is worn and gross at the booths.

I love Mod. Very consistent, nice employees. My daughter especially loves the tiny ice for lemonade on a hot day. I think we've gone here in the summer just because you can make your own perfect ice cold Arnold Palmer.

I went to my daughter's house for a birthday party today. We ordered 5 pizzas and they were the worst pizzas ever. We could have bought the cheapest frozen pizzas and had better. There was very little sauce, cheese or toppings on any of them. My daughter called the store and was told there is nothing they can do because it was ordered through Door Dash. Really?? What a lame excuse. Expensive pizza and you get nothing.

Found 2 hairs in my pizza. Couldn't finish my meal. The persons hair who made the pizza was improperly tied up.

Super friendly pizza maker customized our 11 inch pizza perfectly! Marinara Chopped garlic Spinach Arugula Ricotta Mozzarella Parmesan Bacon Chicken on half Hot sweet peppers Jalapeños Fresh tomato slices Roasted corn (seasonal) Bell peppers Mushrooms Olives on half Rosemary Finished with a pesto drizzle Ranch on the side Absolutely delicious!! There was also freshly made lemonade and a berry lemonade that was very refreshing! Clean, ample indoor seating but we couldn't resist eating at the lovely patio outside near a water feature. Great food and service! Thank you :)

I like the thick crust as it has a lot more flavor and it is light with a better texture. I like Indoor and outdoor seating that is available . I definitely recommend this place.

Great pizza with endless possibilities! I was very upset to learn of my many food allergies and thought for sure I'd never be able to have pizza again...we'll not with MOD! They cater to many people with dietary restrictions and always deliver a delicious pizza! I love the gluten friendly crust it's so buttery tasting and crisp! Perfect for holding their delicious red sauce piled high with toppings galore! Love all the veggies and how it's one price for any toppings you want. The only complaint I would have is people who order the vegan cheese option often hardly get any cheese and that's part of what makes pizza pizza! Don't be shy guys! The business design is wonderful and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Way to go MOD! My new pizza fix spot!

Was craving delivery pizza and thought I'd give MOD a whirl (via DoorDash). I was not disappointed! Is it the most delicious pizza money can buy made with impeccable ingredients? No. But it was tasty and didn't make me feel like garbage. No goop or grease, crispy crust, solid sauce/cheese combo. Cesar salad wasn't too shabby either. I can see why these are popping up all over - definitely a go-to if you're not fussy.

In general, we really like this place. Our online ordering experience wasn't great. Ordered 3 Mod pizza's. They had very little toppings on each of them. Guess there's a difference if you are in the store watching them put the toppings on the pizza.

An unexpected meal when visiting the area but needed a last minute meal to suit a variety of family members in a convenient location. It met those goals and inexpensive too. This is not traditional pizza by my definition, as I have always had pizza in its original italian American style. Don't expect that here. But you will get a nice selection of veggies and meats on a light and not filling crust, almost cracker like. Nice staff aims to please, place is clean, lots of patrons having a good time. They are very accommodating to picky children and you can get out and on your way. Almost nothing in the way of seasonings and not what I expected under the category of pizza. Not italian. But it serves a purpose and is well liked in this community. And we had fun.

I ordered a pizza through DoorDash. The driver got it here in 15 minutes. It showed him at the location while they're making it. They were little to no toppings and the crust was hard as a rock. I suggest that you go in if you'd like this kind of pizza which I don't really consider pizza I don't know how they've gotten so popular it's kind of like the subway of pizza, not very good flavor and all GMO ingredients.

MOD Pizza! Pepperoni and spicy BBQ chicken sausage. A real winner! The service is great and the staff seems to know what they're doing. They're conveniently placed a little further down from the rogue valley Mall over on Court Street and Ohio, just passed 62 but before Mc Andrews. They have a huge variety of pizza and I suggest you try one of every kind! And don't forget to tip your wait staff, over!

Jennah did an outstanding job making my pizza she is amazing!!! she always has a great smile on her face when I come in, she is always making me feel welcome!

I LOVE this place. I love that you can just build a pizza for such a great price and put anything and however much stuff on it you want. I usually get the Caspian which is like a BBQ chicken one with gorgonzola cheese, with a bbq sauce swirl on it. Omg. It's the best thing ever. The people who work here are always really cool and upbeat and definitely don't skimp in toppings! The environment is nice, they've got a big garage door they open up when it's nice weather, and then outside seats too. It's nice to just hang out there. Really speedy service, too. Doesn't take too long for the pizzas to cook. Love this place. Definitely obsessed.

Went here for lunch, as the one near my sons school is closed due to some random issue. When I arrived there was zero line and zero personality to greet me. I proceeded to tell them that I was in a hurry because I was fetching food for my sons school lunch and they said it was no problem and I had 45 min to get their fast food pizza back to him. Not only were they completely lackluster and unhelpful but they proceeded to pull two of the three pizzas out and leave one in, we waited for an additional 10min for the last pizza as they pulled out pizzas that had ordered after us and then when they pulled out the last one of our order they pulled it with a bunch of others that they tended and handed out first. My pizza is as crisp as a saltine and terrible. Thanks for that haste guys, and I'm sure glad I tipped. Also picked only a couple toppings on the one pizza and said, pepperoni only so can I get a bit extra.. that equaled 8 slices. Super awesome. I miss when they had employees that said hi when you came in and could actually smile, these ones act like prison wardens. Horrible service.

Bad food. Never going back. Maybe I'll give it a try again 5years later from now because I forgot how bad it was. But I know it will still be worse than my memory.

Last review verified as a fluke. Been here a few more time and haven't had any issues at all. Good food, good prices, $2 beer Tuesday's... happy tummies for all without an empty wallet.

If the pizza wasn't so good and such a good value this would be 1 or 2 stars. I've been here now a half a dozen times and the same thing continues to plague this restaurant. The line is suuuuuuuuuper slow. Today I started timing after standing in line for over 20 minutes with about 15 people in front of us. When it got down to only 6 in front of us (3 couples) I started my timer. It took almost 15 minutes to make 5 pizzas and 1 salad with a couple of online orders mixed in. Superfast? I don't think so. I've been to the one in Bend a couple of times and they have it down, it is fast. Ya'll have some work to do. If you're gonna try it out, go on Tuesday. $2 local beers on tap! Another tip: To beat the line, order on line. Update - 4/25 7 people in front of us and took 13 minutes to the register. Small improvement.... oh well, worth the wait! Update - 6/25 Been here probably a dozen times since my last review and the time in line hasn't changed. Just walked in 10 minutes ago and the line hasn't moved. Seriously, I'm still in front of the door! The staff behind the counter looks like they could care less. Such good pizza, but they are gonna shoot themselves in the foot with this timeline. Tip to the manager; send your people to bend to train. Never a line there and they are as busy as this one. WHOA!!!, I just took a step forward!!! Update - 11/22 Coming here about once a week and I'm updating my stars to 4. Service has improved a bunch and the food is good as always. Can't beat the price. I hope they keep the focus on speed of service. Getting better. Update - 12/22 HUGE IMPROVEMENT! These guys are getting better. Love this place now!

Now that I finally understand that you can add anything to your pizza, I enjoy customizing my pizza exactly the way I like it. I really enjoy adding the garlic (at the beginning) and the spices (Rosemary & Thyme) at the end. My wife scoffed when I compared the cake to a ding dong, but she had to admit I was right after eating one.

The price/value doesn't add up for me at this place. It cost over $50 to feed 4...I liked the pizza, but I feel that what you get for the price isn't worth it. The people working at this location seemed like they would rather be doing something else, not really engaged in customer service.

Staff is very cordial and the pizza is excellent. What more do you need? Corn. You should put corn on your pizza when you go there next. And don't underestimate the power of Ricotta cheese. It's so soft. Don't you like soft? And let's not forget the garlic bread they make. It's a meal in of itself so you better have someone to help you eat it. Or don't, they will happily give you a takeout box. Free stickers!

This was my first time trying Mod pizza and it was amazing! Sarah and the guys were great! Not only were they friendly from the moment we stepped in but they were willing to be helpful in getting us anything we needed while dining there. The rosemary bread, pizza and pesto are delicious and you can't go wrong when you can put any or all toppings you want for one affordable price. Definitely will be coming back!

Awesome location with outside seating as well as tons of inside seating. They definitely need someone in cleaning duty because there was trash everywhere including the bathroom. Customer service was okay, everyone was very friendly. The 4 stars reflects the organization that they REALLY desperately need to work on. They should have two people consistently on the line. With 4 people back there I'm not sure why they didn't figure that out. I think they would be a lot faster if they weren't all over the place with making pizzas. Food is amazing! I got a mix of pesto and Alfredo sauce because they both looked good. They have more options than any other build your own pizza places (and I've been to a lot). Including broccoli and asparagus which I thought was interesting.

I'm gonna go with 5 stars on this. I've only been to MOD once, but my experience was great. I actually read there are hundreds of MOD's across the US, but this is the first for Southern Oregon (Medford). I must say I am happy to have someplace quick to get a great tasting pizza made to order. The staff was very friendly on my visit and the pizza came out of the oven in less than 5 minutes. I also had a simple side Caesar salad that was fresh and yummy. The pizza was hot with lots of extra cheese. Apparently you can top the pie with as many toppings as you desire for the same price. What a great formula for a "fast food" pizza joint. The pizzas are nicely balanced (crust to toping) and the dough remains crispy and good with a slight rustic edge from the open flame oven. I would recommend this place for a quick pizza fix.

Quick Review: Place will be great to eat at when intial hype dies down. Pizza and toppings are excellent. However the line is not worth the wait if you find yourself in line for 20+ minutes.

Good pizza, I love that they have beer on tap but they only have 2 choices, it would be nice to see more on tap but overall great experience.

One of our family's favorite places in town. Everybody can get exactly what they want and nothing that they don't. Don't get me started on how fantastic the Service is. Nothing but fantastic things to say about every person working there tonight. I came in with a big group of kids and everyone was patient smiled and nature everyone had everything right. Thank you to Bryce, Katie, Gaby, Tyler, Cari,Dylan, and Lakealt! Now everyone in our house and all of my kids friends think you guys are the coolest crew in town.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. We have been here three times and not once has our order been correct. We were told that if we called instead of ordering online that maybe that would help. Well if your online ordering is such crap maybe you shouldn't offer it. The last visit we made was the worst. They gave one of our pizzas to the wrong person and then had a list of excuses 12 miles long as to why it wasn't their fault. The pizza that we did get was one of the sorriest pizzas I've ever seen. I've had Totonios from the grocery store that looked better than this. Save your time and money and go to any of the other 50 pizza places in town. This one is a poor excuse at best for a pizza place. Pretty hard to mess up a pizza but Mod has managed to do just that.

Love this place. I'm lactose intolerant and they have a vegan cheese and when I order for delivery I always see a note saying lactose intolerant, I put it in on my order as special instructions, and almost every time they note on the paper the pizza is on for a new cutter and change gloves. It's a small thing but I appreciate it so much. Pizza tastes great too.

I placed an online order for pick up, I got delayed at work (in the medical field)my patient ran late. I came to pick up my pizza which had been sitting there for quite a while at this point like 30 minutes, the assistant manager said "oh your order is been here for a while let me remake it for you". He was so helpful and it was just a really nice way to end my stressful long day great job dude!!! Haven't had good customer service like that in a while. I'll definitely be back to this location

Stopped by to pick a vegan pizza to go on our way to Crater Lake and was quite impressed with their customer service. Even when they were so busy, they did not compromise on quality or customer service! Thanks to the gentleman who was sticking the pizzas in the oven! If you've never been to MOD pizza, you've gotta go check it out. Make your own pizza or choose from their pre-designed pizzas.

I've eaten here several times and it has always been stellar. I prefer a thinner crust, so their crust is perfect! I love that you can get anything you want on your pizza, amd the price doesn't go up. And the prices are so reasonable. Can't go wrong!

Yum! Had a modified Dominic on original crust. Friendly staff. Only complaint was the volume on the music, almost couldn't hear the person I was with.

Horrible horrible horrible. Ordered for delivery. They went to wrong hotel, so we ended up getting a cold pizza because of wait. Ordered regular crust, got super thin. Got blotches of red sauce in places, no sauce in others. Tiny tiny ingredients (mushrooms, artichokes, peppers, etc.,hardly any cheese). Ordered large, got the individual, paid large price. We had to order hotel refrigerator items because their tiny pizza was not enough for 2. And we are thin people, so its not like we are fatties needed to indulge and stuff ourselves. Will tell family and friends to totally avoid this place. If there was a no star rating would have given it that.
