Located in Montrose Crossing Shopping Center, with its entrance facing Rt. 355, this location is among some other casual food spots.
When I first entered the store, I started walking straight ahead until an employee directed me to go left...to Order. Their menu showing Pizza and Salad options is located on the left wall near the "Order Here" sign - it shows MOD Pizza & Salad Classics with calories listed for each along with what is on each pizza or in each salad. All the other menu's for sides and drinks are hanging from the ceiling where the employees work.
I ordered pizza, drink and an extra item and this is my experience:
I first looked on their website to see their menu to get an idea of what I wanted. So, when I walked in, I opted to get their Original crust and their Mini-sized 6" pizza - it was my first time trying MOD pizza. They asked what sauce I wanted so I got BBQ and then they asked like "What Cheese do you want? Or What Meats do you want?. I am sure the toppings is located somewhere in the store - I did not look. I had a taken a screenshot of their toppings from their website and so I got Mozzarella Cheese, Mild Sausage (some pieces were a little spicy for me; they said it was not), Pepperoni (they gave me 4 slices) and lastly Pineapple. You can put whatever toppings you want on your pizza at no extra charge. That is a plus.
As I go the cashier, I noticed a little display showing something called "No Name Cake" for $2.27. It states it is a cake so important, they will let it speak for itself. Lastly, I got a Vanilla Shake that was made on the spot. I know...I know - pizza, cake and a shake - not healthy things to eat, but I was just here to try a little of a few things.
For the pizza, it was okay. It was not burnt and they made it perfectly fine - I was just not a fan of the pizza itself - it was a little harder to bite into as I was having each piece and a little harder to pick up each piece (after they had sliced it). I compared it to &pizza, which I feel beats them on quality and taste (again, my opinion). The Vanilla Shake tasted great. I may try the Blueberry flavor next time although it is Limited. Lastly, the "No Name Cake" was very delicious - they were certainly right about that.
They do have some cards in front of the register that talks about their MOD Rewards program, but at the time I was at the cashier, I didn't want to sit there uploading an app before my purchase. If I do go back, I will be sure to have it set up before visiting.
