Nice location with plenty of seating and spacious ceilings. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed by the mix of in-person and online orders but the food came our fresh and delish! The combo of the lemonades and Boylan sodas was elite. Kids meals are a great value as well.

I would not recommend them. The place is dirty I cleaned my own table, floors are gross and the just doesn’t seem like anyone cares about presentation but expected I guess for a chain. Eating here was not worth it, their grilled chicken portion is 4 slices, I wanted a whole damn chicken breast duh. The salmon tasted microwaved. Potatoes and rice they did right at least.

Ordered a bowl of chicken green Chile soup and side of grilled veggies. Soup was cold. Asked for it to be warmed up. They kindly bought me a new soup but it was still barely warm. The grilled veggies were dry and old. Had high hopes. Only saving grace was the cookie I ordered it was good. Took my soup to go . Hopefully my hotel has a microwave to heat it up.

What a fantastic experience! The blueberry pesto sandwich was simply outstanding—beautifully crafted with a perfect blend of ingredients, earning a perfect score from me. The counter service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Modern Market Eatery is a fantastic option if you’re looking for healthy, sustainable fast-casual dining. Ordering is quick and easy, and the menu is straightforward, whether you’re in the mood for a salad or a sandwich. I chose the salmon Caesar salad and was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavorful it was. The lettuce had a satisfying crunch in every bite, and the other toppings like the cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, and especially the croutons were all incredibly fresh. Everything came together for a delicious, hearty meal. I’m definitely planning to come back to try more of their menu items, especially the different salads. If you’re in the area and want clean, fresh food, I highly recommend Modern Market Eatery. You’ll leave feeling good about what you’ve eaten.

Ordered soup and a kids chicken plate on 9/18. Soup was yummy, but there was a bug in the salad portion of the chicken plate. The chicken was also somewhat pink in the middle. I will stick to my usual food options.

We really enjoyed the modern market eatery. Fun, bright, and cheery atmosphere and wonderful foods. The food was fresh and seemed like healthy options. I had a grilled salmon plate and my husband had chicken pizza. Both were very tasty. I also loved my beverage, a cucumber, mint lemonade. Fabulous flavor! I will go again the next time I run across a modern market eatery.

I stopped here to fuel up before a beer fest that I knew wouldn't have anything for the vegans. I got the Buddha Bowl and a cookie. Both tasted great, but the bowl wasn't very filling. My friends got the Arugula and Goat Cheese Salad and Aleppo Steak Sandwich--both were pleased with their choices. Overall, this is a good choice if you're looking for a light bite.

Fresh, fast, and reliable spot right on 16th Street Mall! During our cross-country road trip, my dad and I spent a morning exploring Denver and found ourselves at the 16th Street Mall. I was in the mood for something light but filling, and Modern Market Eatery totally fit the bill. I ordered the salmon Caesar salad, swapped the Caesar dressing for balsamic vinaigrette, and was really happy with the result! The ingredients tasted fresh and balanced, and while the salmon was a little on the dry side, it still had solid flavor and seasoning. Service was quick and efficient, which I always appreciate when traveling. The restaurant itself had good vibes to it also. The only hiccup was that one of the women's restroom stalls was out of order, which left a bit of a line; otherwise, no complaints. This is a great option if you're in downtown Denver and want something healthy, quick, and reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone needing a good midday pick-me-up!

I love a good Caesar salad and I love to get it everywhere I go! I ordered the salmon one at modern market and it was so good! I always love getting take out here after class because everything is so healthy and I don't feel crappy after eating here. It's always lively around lunch time and super busy. Some other items I like getting here are the garden steak and urban farmer!

Staff were friendly and menu had various options! We ordered various dishes including chicken and steak bowl/ salad and steak sandwiches. Unfortunately both chicken and steak were very dry and chewy! However we loved the drink selection particularly the cucumber mint. Pizza was good too.

Healthy, delicious and fast! I've eaten at Modern Market Eatery a couple of times when I've traveled to Denver for work and appreciate the fresh options they offer! Sometimes you just need a quick lunch that's tasty and nutritious, and Modern Market delivers. I like their salads and sandwiches. Tomato soup was decent but not amazing. -1 star for cleanliness and organization. This spot seems perpetually understaffed so the housekeeping could be improved.

I really enjoyed this! It's kind of similar to Sweet Green but less expensive. Did a build my own salad, which amounted to about $16 after tax and tip. It was not an excessive amount of food but a very reasonable meal. This location is right on the 16th street mall. It has WiFi and a lot of indoor seating. A good spot for lunch and doing work before or after catching a train at Union Station. Appreciate the vegan and GF options!

Had a mushroom pizza with the side arugula and goat cheese salad. That salad slapped. Pizza was tasty too. Decent option if you're near 16th!

While staying in Denver we came here as we love a good grain bowl, and wanted something a bit healthier. Upon arriving we got in line and browsed the menu, when it was our turn to order I had a question about one of the items and if it could be modified as I was considering ordering it but when I asked, the cashier turned around, left the register and started making salads, and another worker came up. The new worker that came up didn't understand my question, and ultimately I decided to order a chicken grain bowl. The food came out quickly which we thought was great! The food in my bowl was all room temperature/cold as if it had been sitting out. My husband had the same problem with his. We thought that maybe it was supposed to be a cold bowl, so we went ahead and tried it. It only took a few bites to then uncover the "sketchy chicken" pieces. After seeing these I refused to eat the remainder of the bowl. It's extremely unfortunate because the menu concept seemed neat, the prices were a bit higher, so I was really hoping for a quality meal, but was left hungry and out thirty dollars. I wouldn't recommend coming to this location currently. I do hope they are able to get it together in the future as it does have a neat menu and good potential!

The menu offered enough variety that any diet preferences or restrictions could find a delicious option. The gentalme that took my oddr was patient and helpful as this was my first visit. The space is bright and soothing. It felt clean and inviting. I ordered the build your own bowl with salmon, sweet potato mash, an arugula with goat cheese salad! It was delicious. I would recommend this as a quick nutritious option in downtown Denver!

Was downtown by myself at lunchtime and needed a place to grab a bite and work on my laptop for a few. They have a great selection, and everything felt very healthy. Friendly service and tasty lunch, along with a nice quiet spot next to the window to work at. It got quite busy as time went on though, so don't expect things to move quickly at prime lunch hours.

Very creative selection of sandwiches, and at least a couple vegetarian options. I ordered the blueberry pesto sandwich and it was a delicious combination of savory and creamy cheese with the right amount of sweet from the blueberry. Great texture and not over cooked. Perfect place for lunch!

The first thing I noticed when entering the establishment was how sparkling clean the entire place was and how inviting the staff were! We ordered the Curry Salmon, Which consisted of... Sustainable salmon, rice & quinoa, fire roasted veggies, marinated kale, coconut sweet potato curry, toasted coconut, green onion and was Gluten Free! The dish came out hot and delightfully fragrant and was served in a large bowl. There was enough for two and we still had enough leftover for a late night snack. The manager, Glen, came by twice. Once to check in and the second was to offer us two of their warm cookies (also gluten free!) My daughter in law and I left vowing to return as often as possible and to encourage anyone looking for a healthy, well made entree to stop by and try this wonderful new restaurant.

I just visited this establishment for lunch and it was delicious! I forgot to take a photo but I got the Thai curry chicken salad. More of a quick service vibe and our food was brought out fairly quickly. Some of the tables looked a little dirty but there was plenty of seating and lots of natural light coming in which I appreciated. Would definitely come back again for a quick and fresh meal!

Great place to eat! Very convenient place to grab some food, it took very little time to wait for the food. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Mango and Curry Salmon. The BCM was very flavorful. The curry salmon was too, just not to my taste. Modern industrial interior, you bus your own table.

This place is so freaking delicious, especially if you're craving something healthy! There are a ton of options and the portion sizes were very good. I had the Buddha Bowl and it was perfect and delicious! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the staff seemed bothered to be working (I can't stand that), and the place could've been a little cleaner- there were dirty dishes stacked up by the trash cans and the tables could've been wiped down.

Taste super fresh! I ordered the Ahi Tuna salad with extra side of chicken. I'm in Colorado for work conference and like most if not all conferences, they feed you 98% carbs. I was searching nearby restaurants to get some healthy food and protein - voila! Modern market came to the rescue! The staff said al the protein are serve in 4oz portion. So it's easy to keep track of your macro. The sauce is great, veggie is fresh and l love the ahi tuna. My second day in CO and I ate their twice already~~~ nice little

I ordered a pizza from here on DoorDash. When the pizza arrived it was horrible. They didn't even put all the toppings on that I ordered. The pizza was burnt. I called Modern Market. A older woman answered the phone and I told her about the pizza. First she laughed. Then as I was talking to her, she kept talking over me to call DoorDash. It wasn't her problem. She was very rude. I ended the conversation with saying that I was hanging up since she will not listen to me. While I was saying this, she was still talking over me. The customer service and the food are disgusting!

Update: We are back in Denver and of course I had to eat here again, since I LOVED it sooo much last time. I ordered the BYO Bowl again with salmon, fire roasted veggies and I tried the garlic mashed potatoes this time. It was all delicious, my only complaint was the salmon was a little over cooked. But those fire roasted veggies are sooo good! New things my kids tried were the BYO Salad, the Mac and Cheese, the BYO Shrimp Bowl, and the Basil Chicken Sandwich, all plates were cleaned. My husband order the Garlic Mushroom Pizza and he said it was great!

Had the Thai Coconut salad from Modern Market. Perfectly serviceable salad. $25 out the door for a salad and a soda and a coffee in a can was outright highway robbery, especially given the very sparse amount of chicken on the salad. It claimed 370 calories but I doubt it was even that much, with this skimpy serving. All the same, the chicken was tasty, though I doubt it was freshly cooked, and the salad was good. Dinged two stars for small size and high price.

I probably give this an actual 3.5. I decided to come here after a lot of perusing Yelp on the train from the airport, and I did really appreciate that. It was a lot of fresh options. I ended up getting the salmon and two sides, which, for the kale salad and the garlic mashed potatoes. There's also a Yelp check in that is five dollars off of $20 bill so I ended up adding two more sides, which were the Mac and cheese and the arugula salad. The late staff did not recognize the yelp charging deal, but a supervisor was kind enough to offer me the discount. I don't think she's really understood it because she was going to take off $10 but I just clarified for her that the coupons for five dollars off. I got my number and got seated, and the food came out promptly. Unfortunately, my garlic mashed potatoes turned into roasted vegetables that, but that probably was the better dietary choice for me anyway. Unfortunately I found the salmon super salty and over cooked. I didn't end up finishing it. I did really really love the kale Caesar, and had I known this before, I probably would've just gotten the Caesar salad. The mac & cheese was creamy, but under seasoned, and the arugula salad was too heavy on the onions and the blue cheese. Overall, I think the food was not the best, and that the seasoning was really off, there are things that were way too salty and others that were under seasoned but I do appreciate that they have a lot of healthy options.

I get this for delivery probably once a week. It is a great way to get a tasty and balanced meal. Their existing menu options are vaguely strange but they have delicious ingredients and all their menu items are fully customizable. I always start with one of their chef bowls as a base and then add my favorite ingredients to it!

Nice fast casual Eatery. I was downtown for a nearby event and wanted a healthy meal. A very large menu with salad bowls, soups, sammies, pizza and desserts. You order at the counter, they give you a table sign and your drink cup. I got the Lemongrass Bowl with a generous portion of Ahi Tuna, quinoa, red onions, sliced jalapeños, cilantro, cucumber and lemongrass sauce. Very fresh veggies and tuna. I also got a bowl of their Tomato Basil soup. It had a bit of spice and was good. I added their house-made tangerine hibiscus lemonade. The dining area was brightly lit and clean. Adam took my order and brought out my food quickly. I will be back to try other items, especially pizza & desserts.

This place saved my food experience in Denver! Although I've had a few connecting flights in Denver I never noticed the Modern Eatery in the airport but after experiencing this up the street from my hotel, it's all I could see. So many conference attendees flocked to this location and I quickly learned why. The food options are plentiful and it comes out quick. I grabbed the half pizza and kale salad. First off, I appreciate that I had the half ability. I felt better about my food choices. The kale salad... I wish it came as a full salad and not a side because it was Delicious! The service was friendly and they really worked to make sure every patron was taken care of. Even in the middle of wild and busy services the team's attitude never wavered. It's a cool eatery with gated outdoor seating. You might miss it, but toward the back after the drinks there's some additional seating. So grateful to this location.

Not bad - fast and friendly we stopped here prior to going to the Museum of Illusions. Clearly more of a lunch place or take out there was not many people here. The ambiance was neat, clean and modern. Other than my salmon being on the dry side it was a delicious dish with all kinds of treasures- cauliflower, broccoli, rice , sweet potato soup and more - there was a mild kick but very mild in the curry. My husband loved his salad and said it "tastes very fresh with great melding of flavors"

Unprofessional staff, long waits, and cold food. Ordered lunch today around noon, waited 45 mins and had to ask two different employees where our food was. Both were extremely rude and unhelpful. The pizza we had ordered had been sitting behind the counter for at least 15 mins. They couldn't find the other half of our order, as it was apparently "lost" behind something and had also been up for several minutes. Zero apologies or acknowledgment about the delay. The meal was completely cold by the time we sat down to eat. Will not be eating at this location in the future.

I was looking for something healthy for my last meal before leaving Denver. This spot was just a few blocks from my hotel. I ordered the Thai coconut bowl which was basically a salad, with chicken and bunch of other veg. Pretty filling ! It had a wonderful peanut sauce dressing which complimented the dish well. I got the smaller size but it was still a substantial amount of food. Nice staff too. Glad to see a spot like this around the area. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm tired of eating greasy, unhealthy food.

I keep low carb and this place was exactly what I needed. The Summer ahi tuna salad was so delicious, filling and satisfying-- with various flavors and textures-- that I went back two more times the week I was in Denver for a conference... and again at the airport! It really is excellent. Must admit, there was an ingredient missing once or twice, but the staff made it right.

Best lunch ever. Ate here 3 times during my 4 day stay in Denver. Only had the bowls - salad bowl and grain bowl. Loved every one of them. Lots of flavor. Lots of texture. Lots of variety. Everything artfully arranged so the bowls are gorgeous to look at. They all tasted great and were quite filling. I'd eat one for lunch and wouldn't need dinner.

A very convenient stop for me as about 100 ft from my hotel. Stopped in for lunch. The video menu is tough to follow if what you want is on the rotating section. Paper menu solved that problem. Didn't take long to decide - Overnight Braised Beef Bowl for the win. No hot coffee here so opted for a cold brew. If dining in you get a numbered stand to place on your table. Food arrived within 5 minutes. The kale was cut in relatively small pieces which i liked. A tasty dressing. Garlic mashed potatoes were awesome - a problem because i told myself to only eat half to keep the carbs low - that didn't work. The mushrooms and onions bathed the beef and oozed umami yums. The beef was very tender but didn't have a lot of flavor itself. A bite with the mushrooms worked out perfectly. Inside it's bright and airy here. Great place for a lunch stop.

Counter service healthy quick order spot. Great for lunch. It was clean inside with tons of seating. Don't mind the crazy homeless people you have to walk past to get here, other than that, nice spot to eat at if your staying at a hotel around. Large menu, Mac and cheese was ok. Tuna was super salty for some reason, the huge flakes on top were a bit much. Portions were decent and it wasn't too pricy.

The salad was done fairly quick. For some reason I just wasn't on board with nearly anything on it. The chicken seemed over seasoned, there was barely any of the roasted sweet potatoes, the veggies such as spring mix and pickled red onion seemed utterly tasteless, and to round it off the dill ranch tasted like nothing but dill. The salad didn't really taste like a salad. Just all the individual components but unfortunately none of them were good in and of themselves. This is the second time I've encountered this out of two times eating there so I felt compelled to share the experience. Just lacking in almost every way but service.

If I lived here, I would eat at Modern Market Eatery every-single-day! The freshness can be tasted with each and every bite. Anything you order will be delicious because it's made with the healthiest ingredients. Service was nice. Our team member provider great recommendations. The interior is also clean and welcoming. Solid choice for an airport eatery. Food is good quality, ingredients seem fresh. Portions are fair not overbearing. Prices are in line for what you expect at an airport. Lines are much better here than at the chains nearby! I had lunch twice at Mod Market. The first time was a chicken basil sandwich and it was flavorful. I'd do it again for sure. The second time was the flatiron steak salad which was also very good.

On my quick visit to DEN stopped by to grab a quick bite. I was craving Avocado toast and noticed this place. I walked it and wasn't to sure about the smell of the place and also the tables were not attended to. But I decided to find a clean table and dine in. Everyone that I came in contact with was really nice. The mint cucumber Lemonade was my favorite out of the 3 flavors and the Avocado toast (BLT) minus the bacon was amazing. Will definitely order again.

I've been to a few modern markets before this one and stumbled upon it while shopping on 16th street. First off, the location is perfect, it's situated right at Champa and 16th, making it an easy place for shopper like myself to find some quiet on the typically busy mall. I ordered the blueberry pesto sandwich with no tomato (which did end up being included) and a cream soda. The sandwich was amazing as always, save for the inclusion of the tomatoes but they were easily removed, and the cream soda is one of the best I've ever tried. All of this for around $15 makes this a great option for a good lunch! The wait was a little bit long, it took around 15 minutes to get my order and I had to wait a little over 5 minutes to order, despite the fact that I was the only person in line. I account this largely to the fact that they were dealing with many online/delivery orders. All in all a great experience and I definitely recommend Mod Market for a healthy and casual dining experience.

Been wanting this place for a while and I'm so glad I did! My best friend was in town who has a picky diet, and we were aimlessly wandering around Denver for somethinf healthy. She agreed on the menu so we decided to try it. We went for to-go service. It was super quick and friendly. I got the Salmon cesear salad and tomato basil soup. The salmon cesear salad was legit, it was big enough to share with my boyfriend. Although it was so good I wish I got one for myself. The salmon was juicy and flavorful. Perfectly cooked, the rest of the salad ingredients tastes fresh and the dressing was perfect. Was made super quick, we didn't wait lot at all. The only thing I didn't like the best was the tomato basil soup. It was a bit too spicy for my liking. When I order tomato basil soup, I'm just expecting tomatoes and basil and savory ingredients. If it's spicy it can over power that. Aside from that I'll definately be back to order more things for sure!

I think this is a great spot for a quick healthy meal when you're in downtown. It seemed vibrant and packed. Service was great, and people seemed happy to sit around the shared high tops and chat. We also ordered Modern Market for a company event the next day and the assortment was perfect for a quick grab and go lunch.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me and I had to go after hearing him rave about the Thai Coconut salad! Every bit of his excitement for this salad was tasted! The salad was beautifully flavored, especially the peanut sauce. The chicken was a tad tough and I'm hoping it's because I stumped in at an odd time, although the restaurant was busy, especially with to go orders. Next time I'm in Denver I will go back specially for this salad!

The salmon curry bowl was pretty tasty and felt like a healthier choice during a week of too many meetings! I was starving when I popped in to the 16th St Mall location and when my meal came out, I wasn't sure I'd be full. However, the salmon, roasted veggies, and rice were really filling with a seriously tasty curry sauce. Yum! Ok, didn't love my kale salad or whatever it was, but it would have been great with a little more dressing. And their lemonades are so damn good...

If you're looking for a healthy meal, this place definitely has the options. The Baja Blackened Chicken salad was great, added extra dressing. The Blackened Mango Chicken Bowl had great POTENTIAL. When I order a grain bowl, I expect everything to be cooked and warm. The rice and chicken was like warm, the beans and sweet potatoes were 100% cold and the kale was raw (I would have hoped sautéed or slightly steamed). If I wanted a cold meal, I also would have ordered a salad. The meal did have flavor though, thanks to the sauce on the chicken. Peach Ginger Lemonade was delightful.
