I love that we have a healthy, simple, and reasonably priced food option in prairie village. We have ordered different salads and pizza here, the food is always good. The place is also very bright, clean, and quiet. I come when don't want to cook or to catch up with friends.

I went with my two kiddos (8. & 11yrs.) for lunch and each one of us enjoyed every bite of our delicious meal! I had the Chicken Coconut salad and it was PERFECT. My daughter loved her sandwich, and my son said his salmon was perfect and that the lemon aïoli was the BEST! Both kids had a side of their garlic mashed potatoes and we all inhaled the rice crispy treat w/ Nutella!! Can’t wait to tell more people to try it out.

What a great find! Healthy INTERESTING dishes! These dishes are prepared with FLAVOR in mind! Nothing blah about this health food! Loved the Salmon Ceaser. My friend's Thai Coconut Chicken salad was also fab. Samples of both the curry soup and chili were delicious, and my friend ordered some chili to go. Came back 2 days later. My husband and I shared the Garlic mushroom pizza, which is more than enough for 1 person. And the Bacon Jam Club. The pizza was good, perhaps a little too much balsamic glaze. The club was delicious with plenty of moisture from the aioli. The kale/jalapeño slaw was flavorful, not spicy. A side of garlic mash potatoes rounded out a delicious dinner. We'll be back!

I really enjoy this place! I just wish there was a little more seating because they get pretty busy for lunch. The food was delicious and fresh! I even enjoyed their own brand of fountain drinks. I particularly like the Black cherry soda. I hear the lemonade is very good too! The waffle with Nutella and blueberries was so good!

The place overall was amazing. Great food, friendly attentive staff. But everytime I visit I can’t help but notice the shortage of employees. I went over this past weekend the place got exceptionally busy. Long wait times, and they looked severely understaffed. Despite the high traffic in the establishment, the staff did amazing. Handled the high influx of customers very well. Keeping people up to date on the status of their orders. All this to say the lower rating is due to the poor oversight of upper management. You could tell that the employees were being over worked. The cashier was the same person handing out orders. Who knows how many people were actually in the back prepping the food and orders. Made me feel really bad for the workers there because I’ve worked in retail before and have been in similar situations. These things could be easily remedied if there were enough people during the shifts.

This is my favorite place to come for a reliable healthy meal i love the Thai chicken salad and the sweet potato curry soup. The cane sugar sodas are also great. I recently had the blueberry caprese sandwich and it was SO good.

We ordered from here on DoorDash on a whim, looking for a good healthy option. They have several options I would like to try but I went with the Buddha bowl. It was great! I enjoyed the tofu, the peanut mango sauce, and all the other ingredients. My wife enjoyed the pizza and the kids chicken plate as well. We would definitely order from here (or dine in) again!

I come here at least once or twice a week. The coupons and discounts from Facebook and their app keep me coming back and choosing this place for dinner or to bring someone with me. I like the cane sugar soda fountain, I know they’re paying more for it than having a partnership with Coke or Pepsi who use HFCS. I recommend the pizzas and the bacon jam club. Didn’t like the cookie though. Marshmallow treat is good. I refuse to go to Panera, this is my go to when I want something of that food style.

Very clean, bright restaurant as you walk in. Friendly service with a smile. I ordered the Urban Farmer with a blackened chicken thigh, Bacon Jam Club, Curry Salmon, and the kids chicken plate. Will update with pictures of food and how it was after I get my food! Food was AMAZING! Have now order from here twice. Fresh, tasty, delicious!

I love Modern Market and I wish I had one near me! The food was so tasty. I'm still thinking about it. I visited the restaurant chain for the first time with a fellow guest on a late Sunday afternoon. The restaurant had a lot of seating and for the most part, was clean. I ordered the Buddha Bowl (sesame glazed tofu, rice and quinoa, spicy roasted broccoli, carrot, citrus cabbage slaw, peanuts, cilantro and peanut mango sauce). It was DELICIOUS. The entire bowl was so fresh and there was more than enough for me. I will truly be thinking about this bowl until I get to have it again. My fellow guest ordered a tomato basil soup and side of macaroni and cheese and enjoyed it, too. We both tried a few of the different craft lemonades and teas, which were all super refreshing! If you're near a Modern Market, you must stop in.

Healthy eating. Everything fresh. Select their signature bowl or build your own. Salad, pizza and sandwiches. Service was great. Cashier explain everything to us as it was our first time dining there. Casual atmosphere. They even have outdoor patio for those sunny warm days. Pricing a little high compared to dinner entrees at some other sit down restaurants.

Lucky for me and others, their pics on the menu aren't overly texturized. Got the Shrimp BLT this time - and it's a doozy! 400 CALORIES Only 450 mg sodium Arugula, mixed greens, chilled herb shrimp, blue cheese, heirloom cherry tomatos, red onion, avocado, bacon breadcrumbs, basil buttermilk dressing I'm not usually one for a big salad but this one takes the cake. Great taste, good flavor throughout, an interesting combination of textures. Yummy too pair the shrimp with the avocado and arugula/red onions. Would be a "perfect pair" between this and the "epic wedge salad" @ Billie's Grocery with smoked salmon!!!

We had the salmon wrap and the chicken bacon jam sandwich. Both were exceptional. We are very clean eaters and Modern Market passed the test. I felt like the quality was supreme and the taste was amazing. Everything was so balanced and nothing overwhelmed the sandwiches. The chicken bacon jam sandwich is on toasted bread and I worried that it would be soggy by the time we ate it but it was still intact two hours later. It isn't clear on all the sandwiches, but they come with a bag of Kettle chips. They offer more sides, but the small bag of chips (pita chips with the wrap) with the sandwiches was very filling. Can't wait to go back.

Great new place to eat especially if you're looking for healthy options. They have a variety of menu items. We got Chicken thigh bowl and chicken pesto breast bowl as well as mushroom pizza and BBQ chicken pizza. The chicken thigh bowl was pretty good but chicken breast was a bit dry. The pizza's were very good.

We loveloveloved our food here and will absolutely be back. I love how it was focused on really fresh ingredients, everything was made from scratch. We just felt very healthy eating here. It's so great to have a place like this close by. I had the shrimp BLT bowl and it was really special- next time I'll ask for it without blue cheese however- just a personal preference. The bacon croutons tossed with the lightly dressed arugula was so delicious and made me decide that I need to try to make this at home sometime! My friend got salmon with roasted vegetables & thankfully the salmon was a really generous portion which we were impressed with- so many places try to skimp on protein lately. They also had some desserts that looked delectable but our meals were huge and filling. The place has a really nice vibe- it's clean and modern looking and the staff was welcoming and didn't hover. All around fab!

I liked the focus on real, made from scratch foods, the early opening time and the delicious bowl, during my opening day dine-in lunch. The blackened chicken mango bowl ($13.65) included a variety of healthy foods including rice, quinoa, roasted sweet potato, black beans, etc. with a generous portion of somewhat spicy blackened chicken and a tasty sauce. It was brought to my table just six minutes after I ordered at the counter, where the service was cheerful and professional. The menu included signature and custom bowls, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, soups and meals for the kiddos. I also noticed a variety of unique beverages including three iced teas, three lemonades and several sodas made with pure cane sugar. The prices seemed reasonable for the high-quality lunch. They also offer online specials including select $10 bowls and pizzas. Every employee I encountered was helpful and cheerful. I also noticed a focus on cleanliness and an interest in feedback. I found the dining area to be clean, new and contemporary with background music. They also offered two patio areas. Excellent!

Modern market eatery has dishes that are well portioned, has a reasonable price point, and focus on making healthy meals. I noticed that the host was very patient and gave good recommendations as we ordered, the restaurant was very clean, and based on our meals they really do use fresh ingredients. Though I wasn't a huge fan of my own bowl I would still come back to try different dishes. They certainly have great deals on food and have an emphasis on using healthy ingredients.

I ordered the smoked chicken bowl with avocado tomatillo salsa. 12/10 for me! My husband got the pepperoni pizza and loved it! And ordered the salmon bowl for my mom to go. It was beautiful with all the veggies! All items have NO artificial flavors and colors, hydrogenated anything, trans fat, hormones, antibiotics or funky additives. So many options for drinks! They have homemade lemonades, and also their own sodas that are made with cane sugar. Super fast service, I will be back over here soon!

Really great ahi tuna salad bowl. Worth the money. Cooked perfectly, very fresh produce.

Discovered this gem while walking along Corinth square with a friend and seeing the grand opening sign outside. Upon looking up the menu, I knew I'd be back to check it out. I'm so happy I did too! Went back with a friend and neither of his had experienced it yet. They serve a variety of options. From pizza, to sandwiches, salads, curry, and more. All of it is made fresh daily and made from organically sourced ingredients. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and given the rundown of the special of the day. I enjoyed the experience so much that I returned two days later with my husband. The restaurant is bright, clean, fresh, and delicious! Make sure to give this a try if you are craving something tasty but balanced!

The service was super fast and the food was really good!! The portion was great too. It's really cute inside as well. I'll def be coming back

I was so excited to try modern market during opening week! I tried the chicken bowl and was very impressed by the freshness and balance the meal provided. The bowl provided a lot of protein which was helpful because it kept me full most of the day. This spot has easily become a great lunch and dinner option when I am on the go wanting a healthier protein packed meal and don't have time to cook.

I ordered online to go & it was ready when I got there on the shelf to the left when you walk in. The curry salmon was very flavorful & filling!! I was very happy to find something healthy and nutritious. My husband had the pizza, but I had a leftover piece yesterday. The vegetables were roasted & overall a good thin pizza. It was 6 pieces.. a nice size. We enjoyed it & will definitely be back when I don't feel like cooking!

i love this place! when i'm craving something not so unhealthy and want something fresh i always come here! i like to order online because food comes out pretty fast and the service is always very nice and attentive. it is a little pricey but you get good portions. their chicken is so good! also the cucumber mint water is amazing!

This is such a great addition to the Corinth Plaza! My husband and I lived in Denver area about 10 years ago and we used to visit the Modern Market location there quite frequently. Needless to say, we were excited to see one open in Prairie Village. For our first try of the new location, we ordered takeout. It was ready on time and everything in the order was correct. I had the sesame glazed tofu protein bowl while my husband had the line-caught tuna bowl. It was just as tasty as we remember it. Needless to say, we'll be back!

This place absolutely should be avoided. The salads are visibly slightly rotted when served to guests. I watched a worker (the kitchen is visible from the lobby) dig his hand down his pants then make a pizza WITHOUT GLOVES!! The food is very mediocre at best and youre honestly better off going to panera. The management for this place should be fired!

This is a lovely addition to the area. The food is SUPER YUM!! All completely flavorful and alive with color and freshness. You can order a salad or a bowl off the menu or create your own with their amazing possibilities. And while it is very healthy, and you "shouldn't" probably have a soda, do NOT skip the soda fountain. They have their own sodas, made with pure cane sugar and full of flavor. Have a little taste of each every time you go. I've been twice to this location and was pleased with both choices--will re-visit! Staff are friendly & helpful too!

Wonderful new location that I will be trying several times a month. Had the Verde bowl + tofu and found it a delicious combination of soft and crunchy bites. The dressing and spicy broccoli were particular standouts.

Food is very bland and not terribly tasty. You work hard for your money so spend it wisely on better food.

Food was good although pricey. Order at the counter, self-serve beverages. I had the salmon with two sides. The roasted broccoli was close to raw. My quinoa and rice was 2/3 rice and boring. My friend raved about the curry soup. It looked very thin.

soup was significantly under sized, was un seasoned and tasted like food coloring anise and coconut milk. the pizza was cold, gelatinous and had almost no cheese the protein bowl was about as salty as the dead sea, the Mac and cheese had no flavor, the potatoes have the taste and texture of boxed potatoes and were some how the best part of the mix the salad was the only redeeming item but it is way too cocconutty and the chicken is of low quality.

We ate here on 2/3/24. It was our first time, and our overall experience was disappointing. They apparently forgot our order, as diners who arrived after us, and appeared to order similar items were served well before us. One of the women taking orders asked us what we had ordered. My wife ordered the Margherita pizza and I ordered the salmon protein bowl with roasted vegetables. The server brought my food out, which was only warm about 15 minutes before my wife received her pizza. The mixed roasted vegetables were about 90% carrots. Her pizza was flooded with red sauce, to the point she had to scrape much of it off. The 6 slices of mozzarella were about the size of a postage stamp, and the basil pieces were the size of a nickel. The server offered a "sorry" but that was it. I'm certain we will never return.
