I was Ubering and stumbled across this place and it looks amazing there was no one in at the time but it’s very cozy and modern and the food smelled absolutely breath taking! I was unable to order anything but based off other reviews the menu looks great and i will most definitely return to test out their food. The employees were respectful and the place was very clean

The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, perfect for a healthy but satisfying meal. What really made our visits stand out, though, is the exceptional service from Arturo. He is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell he cares about making sure customers have a great experience.. Highly recommend!

Modern Market is an amazing healthy option any day of the week! Customer service is 10/10 everyone is super friendly at this location, and the food is amazing every time! Highly recommend the curry salmon bowl it’s my go to! Try it out you will not be disappointed. I hit up this location every time I’m in the area you should too

We ordered again for lunch to be delivered for 8 people. I am a day late on doing the review, we ordered yesterday. Everything was smooth from ordering to being delivered. Everything arrived, nothing missing, 1 order was not correct. One person ordered the tofu salad, Buddha, and subbed the tofu for Salmon and the salad did not have the Salmon. Everything was packed well. This time I ordered the Bacon Jam sandwich on ciabatta roll with Mac & Cheese. The sandwich was very tasty, no complaints at all. The Mac & Cheese arrived cold and was very dry, did not care for it at all. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. We will order from here again, but I do not recommend the Mac & Cheese. No one is perfect and we will make mistakes sometimes, so since it has been just this one time of not having an order correct I overlook it on the review. We ordered lunch from here for 8 people. From the order to delivery, everything went pretty quick and smooth, no issues. Great service all around, all 8 orders were correct no issues. Everything was packed well and was visually appealing upon arrival. I did a build your own bowl with Spring Mix, Creamy Jalapeño Lime dressing, blackened chicken thigh, blue corn chips, mango salsa, cilantro, and fresh jalapeños. Everything was fresh and tasted very good. The dressing was amazing, and the fresh jalapeños were nice and hot! Definitely will order from here again. No issues at all from beginning to end! I started this journey 45 minutes away from this particular restaurant taking my wife on a date. Google searched gluten-free near me to my surprise this is what I found. When we made it to the restaurant, I should’ve ran when I asked, was the delicious looking carrot cake in the glass display gluten-free to whom the register guy responded “ I’m pretty sure it is gluten-free”. I guess he could tell by the look on me and my wife’s face that wasn’t a good enough answer so he turned his back, pulled out the allergy, listed ingredient book, and after a while of searching, could not find the carrot cake in the book, we decided, of course not to order it. We did order the Curry salmon bowl, The salmon was very dry and the curry watery and tasteless. I did let them know, I would be unable to consume it and I exchanged it for a mushroom gluten-free pizza. It was edible but not impressive. The veggies looked like they were over cooked. As someone who puts an emphasis on eating healthy, I frequent this location for their outstanding food and customer service. I personally have been a regular here for the last few years and love the Blueberry Pesto with chicken and the Pepperoni Pizza. The staff are always warm and affable; specifically Arturo and Elias, who I see most often. The manager and rest of the staff are quite hospitable as well. If you're searching for a new lunch or dinner spot, I HIGHLY recommend Modern Market-Preston Hollow.

This review is for the MacArthur Irving location, but I was unable to locate the Irving cafe, but wanted to add a review. I stumbled across this eatery while running errands in and around the Irving,Tx. After reviewing the menu, I opted for the grilled chicken bacon jam club sandwich. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich with chips, which was more than enough for me. Service was quick and sandwich was good, I would eat there again.

Haven’t been here in a while till recently & I had the best bowl! My flavors were paired so well & the food tasted good even though I had it delivered. Def a great spot to go to for a quick & healthy lunch bite. Update: I ended up eating in the restaurant & the food was just as tasty! I know this spot is a chain, but I always appreciate how cute it is on the inside & how much seating they offer.

We loved this lunch by Trader Joe's. Quick, easy and fresh. Such a delicious shrimp Cobb salad and so many Gluten Free options for my mom. The GF cookie was really a treat!

Modern Market is a good place for lunch but I definitely agree with the other reviews that it's just okay. The food itself has good flavor, it's cute on the inside, and the service always great, I just think that they could have some improvements in the quality of the food

Very welcoming and friendly environment as soon as you walk in . I can't say enough about the team that made the food fast and was super tasty . Also the gentleman behind the register Elias made 2 great suggestions Smoky Chicken Bowl and Mango Chicken Bowl . And let me tell you they both were super. I definitely enjoyed the3 different types of Lemonade and I'm not a lemonade person . This is a must try . I can't wait to try the rest of these flavorful and beautiful array of dishes. Food is fresh but they don't put any food in there you get charged $10 for nothing, there stingy with there portions I wouldn't recommend it at all because of the amount of food you get for the price. You get 2 tiny grilled tenders in the salad and a little slice of Avocado it's pathetic, HEY MODERN MARKET YOU NEED TO BETTER AND STOP SCREWING OVER CUSTOMERS before you don't have anymore!!!!!!

Delightful healthy eatery across the parking lot from trader joe's. Line-caught tuna bowl with sweet potato mash and greens salad. With protein bowls, you can pick two sides!! This combo was perfect. I could have done without the rice/quinoa bed underneath the tuna but I guess it has to sit on something! Sauce is light and a nice touch, not overbearing at all.

Pesto sandwich is A M A Z I N G and filling. The carrot mango drink is delicious too but my all time fave is the cucumber mint.

They totally messed up a takeout order. Place is looking kind of dirty. I honestly wouldn't eat there after my last experience.

Fast/delicious salads and bowls made with quality ingredients. I discovered this place after my frequent trips to Trader Joe's which is right next to it. Then I started getting suckered in on Tuesdays for their $7 Tuesday bowls which change every week. Now I just come here because it's good. Really good. And I don't feel like garbage after I eat here.

I went in last week asking about their market box of groceries because I wanted to purchase one.and no one on staff had any idea what I was talking about. Never heard about it but yet advertisement on main board at complex.

Food: healthy & delicious! I've gotten many things at Modern Market. Salad, soup, pizza, sandwich. I've loved everything. My favorites are the Farmer 2.0 salad, Flatiron salad, Blueberry Pesto sandwich and Chipotle Steak sandwich. Portions are big! Either order a full or get half and half to pick 2 options. Either way, it's a decent portion that will leave you full. The half salad or half pizza are both big. I could eat a half salad and be full. Service: A+! quick & easy, friendly staff Parking: easy. There is a parking lot right outside shared for the shops around

This place always hits the spot when I want a healthy meal. Wish more of these would pop up throughout the metroplex.

The atmosphere is casual & comfortable. I had the salmon curry bowl and it was SO yummy! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the curry sauce was a bit soupy, just the way I like it!! It was just a bit spicy, not too much. They have a variety of lemonades and iced teas, as well as natural sugar soda. This was my first time, and I hope to return soon. Oh, and there are tables with 10 chairs, so great for larger groups, too.

Ew and eh and fine. So the whole place is just dirty. Like dirty dirty. Tables not wiped down. Floors not swept. Bathrooms are filthy. Ew. I ordered the summer salad and it had enough dressing for 4 salads. You couldn't taste the veggies for the ranch. Eh. My husband had the Buddha bowl which he said was fine. He wasn't as upset about it as I was. They seem to do a busy takeout business bc if you could see inside... you might think twice. Won't be back. Disappointed bc the menu is great! The concept is great! The location is great! Even the guy who took our order and delivered the food was great. Everything else - eh and ew. I don't go back for ew.

I really love the concept of places like this. Healthy, fresh food. I've been eating like crap during quarantine (lots of sonic and taco bell) so it was a refreshing change. I got this through door dash and it was exactly on time. First I ate my smoky chicken bowl. It was honestly one of the worst things I've eaten in a while. I was shocked because it has so many of my favorite things (salsa, cabbage, sweet potato, etc), but the flavors were just gross. Don't recommend. It's pretty though lol. The blueberry pesto sandwich was LIGHTYEARS better. Id definitely order it again. I never thought blueberrys and pesto would ever go together but it was so good. Felt full after but not greasy. Overall this place probably wont be my go-to place but I'd consider it again but read the reviews first for what's good.

I was hesitant to go to "Mod Market" because I thought it was going to be boring. I was so wrong. I ordered a half portion of Thai Coconut Salad and a cup of Green Chicken Chili soup. It was bursting with flavor. Every bite of the Thai salad was different and savory. I will definitely be back again.

Cute, small restaurant. Their prices are fair. They have many fresh, flavorful food selections. I got their pesto chicken sandwich. I like how you can get half or a whole. It was pretty good, but I couldn't taste the pesto as much as I would have liked. It comes on toasted ciabatta, with thick slices of chicken, and veggies. I would prob pick something different if I came again. The sandwich comes with potato chips. I don't normally like plain potato chips but these were seasoned! They had dill and other seasoning on them. They were really good and something different. We also got their strawberry and Nutella waffle. The waffle was soft and crunchy. It was sugary sweet and the Nutella always makes any waffle delicious. Some of the strawberries were a little mushy, but I would get the waffle again. Overall, the food was good, nothing super special, I would come back.

"Eat Well-Be Happy" is their motto and that is what Modern Market Eatery delivers. Healthy is their menu. A beautiful minimalistic diet that makes. Satisfying was my "Flatiron Salad". Not expecting a ribeye, chewy but tasty were the slices of steak; delicious were the potatoes, tomatoes, onion, and blue cheese tossed in their balsamic vinaigrette. Contented I was with each order being freshly made, efficient service, clean and cheerful interior, a patio to eat al fresco on lovely days, half orders availability, and, receipts with calorie count. CHEERS!

The tofu was okay and the mashed potatoes were really good. They offer a few lemonades as well and those are decent too. Overall, I prefer other healthy food places but this one was decent

Very disappointed. I got the seared ahi salad and the ahi was brown, not pink, the boiled egg had a white yolk, and the half of an avocado was literally hard as a rock - you couldn't even cut it.

I ordered take out of the Buddha bowl and protein bowl with tofu, mashed sweet potatoes, and roasted vegetables (about $22 total). Glad we checked the contents before leaving because they'd forgotten the mashed potatoes, so we told the staff and they added it to the bowl. Otherwise, food was aesthetically pleasing, delicious, and flavorful!

I ordered the medium rare grass fed steak bowl. They gave me the fattiest and most raw steak. As you can see, there is SO MUCH animal blood it is literally seeping onto the rice. I mean, visually, I couldn't even get the food onto the fork. They also didn't include like any sides or salads, which they say on the website it comes with two. The portion size is a literal joke. Very disappointing experience and I will not be eating here again. If I could give negative stars, I would.

We need more restaurants like this! Healthy food served in reasonable portions. And the food actually tastes good! I chose a protein bowl with ahi tuna, arugula salad with blue cheese and roasted veggies. I substituted cauliflower "rice" for the normal rice and quinoa which put my whole meal at less than 500 calories. My friend had the Buddha bowl which she said was very tasty and filling. Walk up ordering but they bring the food to your table and you bus the table yourself. I will definitely be returning to try more menu items.

This place has really gone down in quality of food, I ordered avocado toast to go and didn't notice until I got home that the avocado was super brown and disgusting looking, $8 thrown in the trash.

Fresh & flavorful lunch. I had the blackened chicken thigh on Quinoa/rice with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted veggies & a arugula Gorgonzola salad. Everything had the appropriate temperature. Hot food was grilled well. Counter order, then brought to your table. Quick & friendly service. Reasonable prices & healthy, fresh food. Recommend.

Oh man - got two bowls here a few days ago that was barely recognizable as food...blackened chicken and curry salmon bowls...for about $28 total. Rice was dry, crunchy, and inedible. Bowls were a third filled. Had to throw it out. I was really sad, hungry, and honestly pretty angry. Dear Modern Market - can I have my hard earned money back please? I wish I had listened to reviews but was looking for something healthy and really hoping that it was just inconsistent - but it's just bad, folks.

Amazing plant focused eatery! Many gluten free and dairy free choices. Pescatarian plates add a variety to the menu and are very delicious. Great staff that are attentive and keep the place clean. Came twice for brunch because the plates are filling.

I've had pretty good experiences with this brand in a different city, but for some reason this particular location was a bit disappointing in the food taste. I ordered delivery via MME app fulfilled by DD. Delivery was on time, and everything was as I ordered. Turmeric veggie is a new menu : I don't recommend. The flavors don't really go well together. i am a long time fan of Thai Coconut Salad - if you're like me, don't order this salad. It just doesn't carry the same harmonious flavor. BBQ pizza : not enough toppings, and weak bbq flavor. Felt healthy tho. BLT+A : huge fan!!!!!! Added extra bacon. Brownie : on a dry/crisp side than moist/fudge texture

Believe the hype! I finally got to retry here after having a bad experience service wise the first time (no one showed up for their shift except the cashier so I wasn't able to get my wife breakfast). But so glad we tried again! Marcus was the cashier / server and from the moment I walked in he was so friendly and helpful. The guy gave excellent recommendations! It was like he was manufactured in a perfect employee factory. This place is warm and inviting inside, and has a special charm at night. My wife and I each did the salad and pizza combo; we each got the Thai Coconut Salad and the BBQ pizza and Bacon Corn pizza. Our food was delicious, and I really love what this place stands for! I mean, where else would you get an itemized nutritional breakdown of your order right there on your receipt? Such a good idea! Why aren't more "healthy" places doing this? So happy to have finally tried this place and can't wait to come back! Food details: The salad is MIND-NUMBINGLY good. Fresh, nutty, creamy, crisp. Who knew cold curry dressing would be so satisfying? I'm not normally one for salad-as-an-entree aka SAAE but if you're not eating this salad sometime in the next week you need to wake up and get your act together. The salad ingredients are lusciously portioned too so you never get a boring bite. Much appreciated. PLUS they give you not one but TWO dressings with your to go order! Awesome! BBQ chicken pizza -- surprisingly complex and even has some eat. I like that the sauce isn't too overbearingly tangy. Crust is super good. I appreciate that it's thin but not crisp, you know? You still get that doughiness and chew but it's much much less filling than deep dish. Bacon Corn -- sign me up for this flavor combination! This pizza is salty and funky and rich but the crust curbs all of those elements perfectly so you keep coming back for more. Holy cow. Only thing that could make it better is an IPA but that's on me for not ordering one! :) I had a weird initial experience here but consider me a convert and a vocal one at that!

I was just there on this passed Sunday Father's Day..around 1:30.. the wait was 30 mins. There was only one person working. The entire place was fifty from empty plates and old food items ... trash needed to be removed from the tables... I drove 36 miles to get a to go dish... I will not go back to this eatery.. no fresh food at all...extremely disappointed!!! The waiter needed some assistance!!!!!!!

I love Mod Market! I love the farm fresh concept because I think we should eat less hormonal injected meat. Ive been in several times and had opportunities to try many of their options. I usually do chicken breasts and two sides(whatever I'm feeling st the moment) their steak is also delicious. Order at the counter, they give you a buzzer, pick up your food where the trays are.

The menu is easy to understand and has a lot of options for most dietary restrictions I could think of. \\ Salad \ Flatiron \ Half-size - portion was still more than enough, very flavorful, and fresh - a little too much sauce for me, but it was a delightful sauce - tomatoes were hidden but plentiful and completed the salad - potatoes were just the right size to absorb the flavor without falling apart - steak was cooked to my ideal, medium-rare (a little pink) \\ Pizza \ Crimini Kale - vegetarian-friendly - complex flavors of kale fills your oral cavity right away, followed by the pleasant tartness of tomato and the crunchy T E X T U R E of thin crust. - the pizza is huge and could be shared if you're not too hungry, but if you're very hungry, don't be intimidated--it's thin enough so you can probably still finish it (: Parking is plentiful and free (esp in the garage). The space is a large and there's lots of natural light and seating. There are lemons for your water if you're that type. The bathrooms are clean and individual, complete with a diaper-changing station. I'm not too picky about service, and even though it was very much self-serve and self-clean-up, there was a really nice guy in charge of clean-up who came by to take our trays. Loved it here because the food is just so invigorating and fresh ( :

I want to start by saying i LOVE modern market I've had it in Arizona and Denver and visiting Dallas I seen there was one near my hotel so I went. This was the worst modern market I've been to from the staff (the man making my food was coughing didn't have a mask or anything on) to the quality of food. I got the modern avocado toast it was already brown by time they made my order. I also got the salmon bowl with arugula salad as my sides and the arugula was wilted and old, some even brown . Overall I still love the place but this location food quality isn't as good as the other locations.

Modern Market is a great place with great food! I've only been once but the whole menu looks delicious! I had the Chipotle Steak Sammie which had pretty thick cut steak but lots of it and really good aioli on an excellent ciabatta bun! My sister got the Salmon Salad which looked flaky and perfectly cooked and the caesar dressing was nice and light and a little tangy! They have all sorts of good fountain drink choices too and fresh lemonades (although $2.50 seems expensive for a small size drink)! The staff were all very nice, the service was surprisingly quick, and I love that the food is served on actual plates with real metal utensils! It's not the cheapest but the great quality and generous portions make it a very fair deal so I definitely recommend it!

I really love this place but lately they've been lacking a little we usually get dinner here and my husbands pizza has been undercooked a few times making his stomach really upset. I also get the everything toast a lot and it's always missing something or not toasted. And lastly they just have been forgetting our sides or not cooking the protein all the way.

Terrible customer service. Order delivered wrong through a 3rd party delivery service. And it was Clearly the restaurants fault. They have it set up to make it look like it was the delivery company's fault. When contacting the restaurant directly they said they have no control over the mistake.

Y'all I've eaten here a few times food taste amazing but look how tiny my chicken was this time! I was sooo hurt but still taste bomb also I've ordered here a lot and never had a chicken so smol

Buddah bowl one of the worst tasting meals I have ever had. I've recently had excellent vegan meals in Prague where I would return again and again. I went to Modern Market when it first opened and had the same kind of experience. They just have no clue about how to season food . Save your money. Eat weeds out of your yard. You would be happier.

Very Mid. Not worth the money and portion size doesn't equal what you receive. It's was just okay. Plus, I didn't receive the add ons that cost additional. Please be sure to do a quality check. Ordered the salmon caesar and it was the driest piece of salmon I've eaten. Beware!

I always order modern market on Uber eats because I absolutely LOVE their sides (and lemonade.) However, every time I order the protein is dryer and dryer! I would get modern market weekly if they would just stop over cooking my food! Also a non gluten free cookie option would be really nice.

I rarely opt for avocado toast when I'm out and about but this time, I wanted to give it a try to upgrade my homemade avo toasts at home. This place has been in my collections for quite some time and needed to check it out. When I first drive into the area, I love love where this place is located. Cute buildings, lovely lounge area, and parking were plentiful. It's small but elegant in some way. I walked in and was greeted by this lovely lady. Before I had the opportunity to write down my orders, she showed me some signs and I thought that was really cute, a plus for their customer service! I went ahead and got the modern avo toast then I got the pearl sugar waffle for that sweet indulge I need this morning. I sat down and after 5 minutes, a gentleman came to my table with my order and he said thank you in sign language for me coming to this place. Very welcomed even more then. Took a bite of the avo toast and I love it. Very ripe and creamy while the toast were toasty and the seasonings on top, YUMM! So simple yet so delicious, just how I would made it at home. Then I took a bite of the pearl sugar waffle...the lady was right that it tasted like funnel cake but for some reasons, the blueberry jam kind of have that really strong acidy flavor to it, almost like I'm eating lemon right on top of it. It's not so bad but the pearl sugar was a nice touch to contrast with the acid jam but I just couldn't finish the waffle at all. And they're cheap as heck!

Three stars for healthy food spot that makes me excited to return and try more of the many food options, but customer service that makes me what to order the food as takeout or maybe not return. I came on a weekday night and the establishment was not too busy, but still buzzing. I ordered the 'build your own' option with Ginger Sesame crusted tofu, Rosemary sweet potato mash and fire roasted veggies. I've been known to not really care for tofu but I enjoyed it this time. The ginger sauce that came on the side was quite nice and complimented the veggies as well, which were not season all that great (but I have found that to typically be the case when ordering a side of veggies). The sweet potato mash was nice as well. I really appreciate the amount of options that they had. My uncle ordered the salmon salad he said it was good but didn't seem too thrilled about it. Now, in regards to the customer service. When we went to order our food the cashier didn't seem very thrilled or friendly. Upon picking up our food and exiting the establishment we did not receive any more friendliness than we did at the cash register. I really did not feel welcome. The restaurant is very cute and true to the name, modern; it caught my eye the first time I came across the establishment. Clean and well lit. I would definitely recommend this establishment, but just don't expect much in terms of customer service.

I stopped in here to grab breakfast one morning before running errands. It's a cute restaurant. Parking sucks unless you get there early. There is a parking garage not far and street parking around the restaurant. I ordered the bacon sandwich on gluten free bread. It came with cheese, bacon, egg and bread. It took a good ten minutes for me to get my sandwich. I was a little surprised considering I was the only person there. My sandwich overall was ok. It could have used Tabasco or another sauce. It was just kind of plain. They also cooked the eggs and folded them weird so only half the sandwich had eggs. Overall an ok sandwich. A little heavy on the bread and lacking in that pop of flavor. Cute place to grab a bite. Not exactly a place to go if in a hurry. I'll definitely be back to give their lunch a try. They have some salads that look awesome!

I'm delighted that I followed the "Yelper brick road" to this restaurant. I needed to find a casual, fast spot that served fresh & delicious meals. Most meals here are also healthy. That's an oddity in Dallas. LOL! Everything is made from fresh, quality ingredients right before your eyes. I ate a Crimini kale pizza. It is cheese-less, but so tasty. The kale was crispy; the onions & mushrooms were perfectly caramelized; the red sauce was tart and sweet; and the crust was perfectly light, crispy and well browned. They also serve beer & wine, and are also open for breakfast. Wait staff was nice. I'll definitely be back here to check out more menu items.

For a place that advertises farm fresh eatery I was disappointed in my meal. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl and a cup of curry sweet potato soup. While the beef in the Mediterranean bowl had decent flavor chewing around the gristle overshadowed flavor. I would be surprised if there was more than 2 ounces of protein after removing the gristle. Curry sweet potato soup had a reasonable flavor but was very thin in texture similar to broth consistency. If you are expecting a creamier thicker base soup this is not the one for you. The restaurant was clean and convenient to access.

I think I might have found a new favorite spot. The Aji tuna bowl is the next level. I'm obsessed with this place.
