Great outdoor space to chill and grab a drink. They have wines, beers, ciders, and seltzers. The patio/garden seating is gorgeous with the lights. There are heat lamps in the back and upper level. The pool is beautiful as well. During the day you can grab a drink and lounge in one of the chairs under an umbrella or in the sun. Food here is all vegan. We tried the Korean Fried Chicken Sandro. The flavors were really good, had a nice kick to it as well. Service was great. The gentleman at the register was very patient with my indecisiveness. There were so many options!! I've been here with a laptop during the day enjoying sunshine through the trees as well as at night with the string lights above. It's a great place to chill day and night. I will definitely be back.

Went here twice last week and am hoping to go again next week! I felt really safe here and was grateful that the staff was taking covid seriously. The atmosphere, drinks, and food were all 10/10! The menu is priced really fairly and is also 100% plant based which is awesome! I've had probably the best chicken sandwich (both vegan and non-vegan) I've ever had here, I would definitely recommend trying it out. It's also dog-friendly and parties are limited to 6 people!! Bring your dog and your 5 favorite friends and have a safe + fun time!!

Beer and ambiance is great but definitely feel that food could improve as everything here is vegan. Fries were great but some other food items were too greasy or not enough and felt priced like a high end portion when it wasn't. Had a great time but would not come back again for food.

So excited to see this place finally open! It was worth the wait. Modern Times, per usual, did not disappoint with their newest establishment. The aesthetic at their brew pubs is so unique and awesome. The beer is always delicious and we enjoyed the creative food as well. Check it out.

The ambience is great, the beer is great without question the food taste great, but it made me, my girlfriend, and two friends very sick. I sincerely hope this is an isolated incident since we enjoyed everything else..the service was on point and the staff is above friendly and cordial. I would say that the parking situation can be confusing for a newcomer and the sitting situation. We were confused as to if we had to wait for someone to seat us or seat ourselves. Being that we did not want to assume we waited for a bit and eventually sat ourselves. I would give a 5 but I wasn not able to sleep.last night due to the bad stomach aches

Bring a bathing suit! You can easily spend hours here. There is a restaurant portion, a cafe, brewery, and a swimming pool. Most plates are small and meant for sharing, there are plenty of options for seating whether you're a small group or a big group, and there is lots of street parking available. I'm not vegan but i enjoyed every single dish!

Modern awesomeness! Long time Modern Times beer fan, first time visit at Leisure town Anaheim! Not sure why it took us this long to visit but this is absolutely in my wife & I top 3 as far as brewery/beer garden locations in the OC. Parking can be a little tough though, so keep that in mind. Fun, open atmosphere/environment, not overly crowded at time of visit. No TVs/sports or loud music here. Just good times with good people! We first checked out the MT cafe before heading to get our beers since they were about to close. Cool, homey feeling inside. Ended up trying a donut which was scrumptious. I love the set up! Pretty huge with lots of tables, chairs and just love the colors/decor around here. You order your beers at the bar and find an open spot to sit. You can also order your food at the bar, or the store and pick it up when ready (they give you a pager). Swimming pool was open, but we opted to hang out in the garden. Since this was our first visit, got 2 rounds of flights sampling everything interesting with MT brews I haven't tried in a can yet. It was not a let down. They offer so many hoppy beers on tap (even ones that were brewed at this Anaheim location). To be honest, a little overwhelming because they offer so many delicious beers and hard to just pick a few lol I was so excited to sample them and enjoyed the Double IPAs (a few 5oz DIPAs can creep up since drinkability is high). We shared a large carne asada fries plate.  Pretty tasty and paired well with our beers, but felt it to be a little too salty for my taste. Not a biggie since we're here for the beers and didn't disappoint. Before heading home, checked out their store and bought an MT t-shirt to go! We will absolutely be back! Keep it up MT & your great staff! Cheers!

As of the time we visited Leisure town (Sept 2020) health measures were in place, so I'm not too sure how this location normally operates. They have one entrance where they screen you with health questions and require you to start a tab before going inside. The location is made of pool area, bar and brewing area, store and backup bar, kitchen and food pickup, stacked shipping containers turned into seating alcoves, and a central area with benches, tables, and lounge seating. They have a misting system all along the main area and trees for shade. Bathrooms (at least women's) are industrial like, similar to other locations (foot handle for exit included). There is a large house they have built partially around which seems to serve as an indoor seating. It wasn't open though. Bar area beyond the counter is nice and would have had table seating, but it was taped off and used to store brewing supplies. Large assortment of taps as well as slushy machines for MT coffee. Barware is plastic due to safety reasons for the pool (not sure that was open). We had the MT Ultra coconut and MT Ultra vanilla. The coconut was pleasant and not too toasty, while the vanilla was so present it tasted bitter. Food was handled by a single guy manning the pickup window, and for our animal fries (a gourmet, mustard seed take on In and Out's version) and chorizo burrito, said guy passed on the food along with disposable cutlery and sauce cups. Food was great and filling. We're not from the area, so it'd be hard to make this a weekly stop, but this location is beautiful in terms of design and layout, so we will likely drop by now and then. Definitely worth going to at least once even nowadays.
