Modern Tortilla is one of my favorite food truck experiences around Phoenix, their gourmet street tacos and loaded burritos are always fresh, flavorful, and packed with bold Southwest-inspired ingredients, from juicy chicken tinga and carne asada to perfectly seasoned veggie options. Whether I catch them at a local event or have them cater a private gathering, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food consistently impresses with quality and creativity that goes beyond your typical food stall. We had Modern Tortilla come with their food truck to our wedding dinner. It was an AMAZING experience. From the beginning the communication was thorough and prompt. The food was delicious, and it was the perfect fun blend of all our elegantly dressed guests enjoying the fun interactive experience of the food truck. Highly recommend!!!

Great company, Great team, Great food! They showed up on time, set up everything, and they were very easy to deal with. We partnered w them on two events, and everything turned out perfect!

Our work hired Modern Tortilla to cater an event and I would not recommend their catering. They seemed stressed and rushed. The carne was terrible overall and it was cold. Most of the employees were nice but one was flustered and rude which was the cherry on top of this lackluster experience.

What a delightful company to work with!! Our communication was immediate, caring, and professional. THE best part was the huge smiles our faculty had when they took their first bite. Everyone could not stop asking where the food came from—it was absolutely delicious! I will 100% be using them to cater again. The setup was spotless and efficient, and I didn’t have to lift a finger. The spread of toppings for the street tacos was immense—everything from freshly chopped onions and cilantro to multiple salsas, roasted red peppers, grilled corn, cotija cheese and more. It was a taco bar paradise. I highly recommend getting the shaved elote; it was a massive hit with everyone. Honestly, the only complaint I heard was that people ate so much they were disappointed they didn’t leave room to try everything. That’s how ridiculously good the food was. We had: 60/40 carne asada & chicken Veggie tacos (everyone was surprised how good that filling was, they were eating it by the spoonful) Cheese quesadillas Chips and salsa Beans and rice Elote shaved street corn Horchata Drop off catering with set up.

I hired Modern Tortilla to cater a work Christmas Party. They were super easy to work with - communicated clearly and in a timely manner, provided great options to work with for a menu, and all reasonably priced. The staff that worked the event were timely, efficient, and friendly. And the food was DELICIOUS! Everyone loved it! We will definitely be looking to hire them again in the future.

Easy to work with. Great tasting food. Delivery to the house was on time and pleasant. Would definitely use them again.
