This was my first visit, and it definitely won't be my last. I contemplated a while about choosing to eat here. I loved my food! The chips were crisp, and the salsa piping hot; yummy! My plate choice was served prompt and tasted delightful. The service was superb; attentive waitress and manager or male lead on duty. When guests started to pour in, the manager(or owner?)on duty did not hesitate to assist. He made my experience that much more delightful. He displayed hospitality and friendly service!

Great spot! We had the chicken & poblano quesabirria taco special, a cheeseburger & the chicken tostadas. Everything was great! House margaritas are legit. Efficient service and nice decor! The jalapeno salsa has great flavor and packs a punch. We returned the next day for their breakfast tacos. They're the bomb! We will def be back.

What a cute place! I love their vibrant decor and use of sugar skulls on the cute menu and in the actual restaurant. The space itself has many seating options, including a patio in the back. They also have a semi-separate room with a long table to accommodate larger groups. I thought this was a walk-up and order type place, but to my surprise, it was a sit down, server brings chips, and takes your order type place. I was very happy with this. I'm not always fond of the walk-up and order type places. The service was great! We arrived around 5:15 PM, so it wasn't too crowded yet. The bar is right near the table seating, so it can get a little loud. There was a larger group in the bar area this night, so we had a little bit of a hard time hearing each other at our table. Our server brought us chips and salsa. The chips are a medium thin and the reddish-brown salsa is served warm. Love that! We had a couple cocktails and enjoyed a delicious quesadilla. Our server was very helpful in making our requests for a combination chicken and beef quesadilla. It was the perfect appetizer to split since we weren't terribly hungry. It was not only filling, but very tasty! I usually like beef better than chicken at Mexican restaurants, but their chicken was fantastic! I liked the beef too, but I was very surprised how much I liked the chicken too. Very tender and seasoned well. Drink prices are decent. They make a pretty good Ranch Water. Food prices are good too. Our bill was fairly small because we split our meal. We will definitely return! The flare is fun, the parking is convenient plus plentiful, the restrooms were spotless, the service is great, the food is terrific, and the energy is good. Really enjoyed our time!

Sorry folks, service wasn't up to standard. I try to stay as positive as I can. Do better. The table we wanted to sit at was poorly cleaned. We asked for It to be finished cleaning the lady sprayed the chair and left a dirty plate on the table and never picked It up. (Yes I said what I said) I got a simple burger that was bland. My daughter had to send back her food because she got RAW onions instead of grilled. She needed to add an order and was ignored for a moment. Just lazy service. Oh and the appetizer came After the meal. Boo not up to expectations.

Third time we go there and the food is just bland. Ordered on the phone and confirmed with the lady TWICE on a sausage egg and cheese breakfast taco tell me why we get home and it’s just egg and cheese. This place is good if you don’t like seasoning or salt on your food which is why I guess there’s so many good reviews from white peoples

I saw this place, checked reviews and came in on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Ordered a chicken taco salad but they brought me a beef taco salad. I avoid beef so I know I ordered chicken. I should have checked that they heard me right as it's very possible that speaking through my mask caused them to misshear me. There are no complimentary chips and salsa. The salad was just adequate, but I wondered what made it a $12 salad. The staff was professional, but I didn't feel welcome. The decor is very nice but I won't be returning.

This was my first time at Moderno but I thought it was an overall great experience. The restaurant is located in a strip of other businesses and the parking lot was a decent size and I found a spot right away. When you walk in, you order at the front counter and take a number to your table. They give you your drink in a to-go cup. All the silverware and napkins are on the table. I ordered the DF street tacos and chips and salsa. Everything came out within minutes and was presented well. I paid a little less than $15 for my whole meal. Everyone was super friendly and the whole place was clean. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and the decorations makes this place cute and cozy. They even have a little back patio area. I hope to visit again soon.

3 Stars – Tacos Worth It, But Service With a Side of Attitude Moderno’s breakfast tacos are chef’s kiss—absolutely to die for. The breakfast plates? Equally amazing. But the service? Ehh. Every time I walk in, the lady at the counter looks at me like I just asked her to run a marathon. I get it—mornings are rough, but I’m just here for some tacos, not to ruin your day! Still, I keep coming back… because tacos. Just wish they came with a smile, or at least less passive-aggressive eye contact.
