MOE COFFEE-NORTH PARK

A very cool and unique spot either a distinct charm. It appears to very part of a residential home, which gives it a cozy feeling. There is a small outdoor seating area that adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The coffee was quite good, though it could benefit from a slight re-dial to fine-tune the flavor. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

Great location, I like the open air vibe and the sun is never hitting directly. Great baristas. My only complaint is the seats are uncomfortable and hard, they need some sort of cushion. The tables are pretty tall so if you're working on your laptop, it's a weird set up and never feels quite right having to keep your arms elevated. Would be perfect if the tables were lower or the seats were higher.

A beautifully decorated spot with delicious looking pastries (no gf options when I was there unfortunately!). It’s open and well lit with lots of indoor and outdoor seating on a quiet ish street corner. Plants abound in this green, chill spot. I tried the Churro White Mocha (had never heard of such a fun thing before!) and it was creamy, tasty and delicious.

This location is a hidden gem. It's one of those places you don't want to get more popular but also want it to because it'll stay open. There are a lot of coffee shops in SD but this one checks all the boxes. I think its biggest selling point is the outdoor seating. I've come 3 times at each point in the day(Morning, Noon, Afternoon). The outdoor seating is comfortable, cool, and open. Charging points are plenty. It's quiet enough for meetings. Yet enough background noise to add to the ambiance. Food is good, drinks are good, it's the best.

I got a 16 oz latte with almond milk and it was so delicious! Got a little cinnamon steamed in and sprinkled on top it was perfect. 👌 Avg price for a latte at $5.45, +$1 for substitutes. Friendly service, let me know about their baked in house pastries and was very quick to make my drink. I didn't try the pastries but they smell and look amazing. I wish they were gluten free. 🥲 Love, Love, LOVE the tropical vibes! 😍🪴🌴🙌

This is a great neighborhood coffee shop. It’s got a great open space both indoor and outdoor for enjoying a cup of coffee or casual drinks. It’s a great space for studying or having a casual meeting. The customer service has always been polite. Overall this coffee shop is very pleasant.

Our vacation rental was just down the street so we decided to stop by in the morning for some coffee. It’s such a lovely place with an outdoor seating area. Their matcha was good and the lavender white mocha was also very good.

I came here bright and early on a holiday and it was apparent the baristas were not too happy to be there. The drinks were good. The seasonal butterscotch latte tasted like really good gas station coffee (the French vanilla flavor) and the horchata chai was solid.

Service here is always top notch. The food and smoothies are very fresh - and a really strong cup o' caffeine in any format you want. Great place to chillax and do some work. Love the outside seating and it's nice in the afternoon because it's in the shade. The location is off the beaten path - being one block away from 30th and just a stroll from the community park. And they got pup cups!! That gets an extra star. However - my dog will not let me pass Moe's now.

Food--Nutella Croissant was a bit stale but tasty. Lots of savory & sweet offerings. Service-- Hospitable, helpful, well behaved canines welcomed completely Ambiance--Wide open comfort with music to soothe & energize patrons - Highly recommend-

The ambiance in this spot is great. I love that there's always spots to work and a ton of natural light/fresh air. The iced lattes are good, however not my favorite in town. Overall a good spot to stop in for working and a drink/bite to eat!

Multiple vegan options, yummy sandwiches, sourdough bread, big tables for laptop work, chill music, good wifi. Everyone here was working on their laptops - Tuesday around noon. It's a comfortable chill place to get some light work done. Street parking is alright during this time.

Okay. I don't actually drink coffee, so I always feel a little weird reviewing coffee shops. But non-coffee drinkers frequent these places too! And Moe has lots of options for us, including teas, hot chocolate, golden milk, kombucha, and alcohol. Plus a surprisingly extensive food menu. I'll admit that nothing I've eaten or drunk here has blown me away, but I still like to come because of the atmosphere. The shop is open to the outside, with the patio space nicely shaded by the building's shadow for much of the day. But even if you're sitting inside you can enjoy the fresh air. And it's dog friendly! They offer free dog biscuits and pup cups for your furry friends. I also love that it's on the ground floor of an apartment building. I wish we had more commercial and residential combo buildings. And in this particular case I love that you can stay in the residential part of North Park to come here. Like an upgraded home away from home!

I've always driven by this coffee shop and finally decided to see what they had to offer. My GF loves iced coffees so I decided to surprise her with one of their speciality drinks. I ordered the Churro White Mocha. She really liked the drink and said it was the perfect level of sweetness to add to the coffee flavor. The shop also sells lunch items as well as beer and wine if you wanted to stop in later in the day.

This is a cute spot and very continently located near the hub of north park. We got a mocha and a cold brew. The service was fast and there was live music on Saturday morning which was great. Didn't get to try any pastries but they looked tasty.

VEGAN CROISSANT PASTRIES HERE! okay now that I got the most important part out of the way, I really dig this place for all the reasons above plus: * great iced matcha latte with oatmilk (I've only had a few matcha drinks so far but I really enjoyed this one!) * good place to do computer work with ample table/seating. * service is friendly and helpful! + Could use more outlets, yo girl LOVES ample outlets! + Parking may be a bit intimidating at first but don't give up!

Matcha latte was not it. The color did not look look like the ceremonial grade matcha, nor did it taste like it. I would def opt for something else. Place was great for studying tho and working!

Really happy about the outlet situation around here. Dog friendly & shaded patio as well. Lots of seating available on a Monday afternoon. Coffee was a bit of a miss for me (lattes come VERY sweet so make adjustments! cold brew was a bit watery for my taste as well). A little pricey, but would probably come back to try one of the fun lemonades instead.

This place has the best vegan breakfast Sammie's! I got the busy bee coffee and it was a little bit too much on the sweet side but packed with flavor. Plenty of seating inside and the barista was a a sweetheart. Would definitely recommend getting your morning coffee fix from here.

I have been here twice this past week and honestly could go here everyday if they were open later. 6pm for a cafe in this area is still pretty decent though so I'm not complaining. This cafe is in a residential neighborhood and on the corner of the block. Parking is not too bad but it's never perfect here. Their menu offers different brews of coffee, smoothies, kombucha, as well as pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and toasts to nosh. The first time I came here I ordered the iced latte but added the horchata chai flavor which was worth it (!) but for the sake of flavor did lose two of the four espresso shots. It was still really good. The second time I came here I ordered the iced latte again but the churro flavor, and let me tell you I felt every bit of those two extra espresso shots. The flavor was good but I definitely preferred the horchata chai one. I also ordered a turkey sausage sandwich since I was going to park my butt here for several hours to study. The sandwich was good but basic, not that I needed much more, and they gave some packets of Cholula hot sauce on the side. The workers are super friendly and always willing to share their recommendations. It's a very open space with seating inside and outside. There are outlets for those who are focused on work/homework. The tables are pretty comfortable also with lots of table space. They are dog friendly and I believe they offer hard kombucha, but otherwise no alcohol.

This coffee shop has a wonderful inviting atmosphere and offers a variety of bites and espresso fixes. Oour favorites. Here are the honey lavender latte and we enjoy the turkey sausage breakfast sandwich. they do have the regulars proof of the longevity of this coffee shop The staff is ready to help with any of the Pat entrance questions.

This is one of my favorite coffeeshops/bakeries in San Diego hands-down. It makes the top five. The treats they offer feel and taste fresh every time I go there, and they pair well with the variety of coffees/teas they offer :) My favorite drink here is probably the chai latte. It's a cozy/airy ambience, I love how two walls are exposed to the outside world, lots of natural light in there. There's also a rustic vibe to this place as well. Every time I come here, I'm always greeted with a smile and hello. They are so friendly, they make me feel very welcome and at ease. From first dates to early morning coffee to studying for class, this place is great

This is one of my favorite places to study. My favorite thing is the open wall that lets in natural light. I love doing work outside but the heat and glare on my computer can get annoying so sitting inside here is perfect! I always find a place to sit during the week days because there's a large communal table in the middle that doesn't get too busy. There's a good amount of outlets and the coffee is pretty good too. The drinks are little pricey in my opinion (but most places are). They also have other fun drinks like different lemonade flavors which are really good. The music is usually pretty good too (last time it was mostly SZA and old Beyoncé). I always recommend this location to my friends when they're looking for a cafe to work at!

Overpriced at $7 and served in a to-go cup like Starbucks...but worse. My latte was literally just steamed milked and took 15 minutes. The seating area is nice with plants and an outdoor space but is all in the shade and freezing. Super disappointed.

A cute coffee shop, tucked away in North park - this place is great. The coffee shop is completely open during the day, and I love how much natural light and fresh air you get while being able to enjoy coffee. There is tons of seating, and I've never had any issues finding a place to sit. This coffee shop is clean, and all of the workers are friendly. I typically get an iced chai here, and the flatbreads are to die for. I do wish that the coffee was a little more affordable, it's definitely a splurge depending on the order. An iced chai with oat milk runs me about $7-8. Great quiet coffee shop to work, have a coffee date, or grab and go.

Cute coffee shop that has plenty of seating and options! I guess there's multiple locations but I keep going back to this one's parking was fine on a Sunday but I'm sure it gets packed during the busy weekend hours. I've gotten a sugar free vanilla latte before but didn't like the taste and this time j got a strawberry matcha latte (7$) which I didn't know was the going rate for matcha! I did enjoy my time there and reading while there was a slight breeze was of course - priceless. I was surprised that the matcha didn't have obvious pieces of strawberry and the size of what I got was a little small but I did enjoy the atmosphere and the clean space. I'm sure I'll be back soon!

This is a cashless business. They require you to use your credit card and prompt you for a tip for pouring your coffee.

I was making some time before attending a fantastic sushi making class at the nearby CinKuni and my body was asking for caffeine to keep going. I already found a parking spot which was great to walk around and trying to find the closest coffee shop and found Moe and fell in love! Plants and coffee go hand in hand. Wall art plant theme is perfect match. Coffee and service were great. Bathroom super clean and modern and the whole place looks spotless. I love the bottles with the plants leaves as vases. So pretty and calm. I am glad that they were opened until 6 pm and that they have that great patio too.

I went in today with my dog Sadie for their pup meet up and had a great experience! There were cute accessories, biscuits, and seasonal things like custom ornaments available for purchase from local small businesses. I got great service from Alex who helped me figure out my order and made me a delicious latte. Thank you so much Alex! Great spot with lots of seating inside, a nice patio, and excellent service. I love the Moe Coffee on state street and this one is great too!

Great place for a hangout or to get work done! I also love the garage door look. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and lots of plants which added a nice vibe. They have a lot of options on their menu for coffee, beer, wine, and kombucha also for a reasonable price! Street parking is available and it was not too difficult to find a parking spot. Their music playlist was also an added bonus to their overall ambience! I would definitely come back more often if I lived closer to North Park.

Their cold brew was very good ! It was very nice with both tables and a long table with bar stools. It felt nice but it did start to get hot and the garage door was opened. I'm not sure if they have AC because I left before it was very hot. All the tables were taken but that figures. I was almost tempted to ask if I could share a table with someone but that's okay. I will be going back!

I was very happy to see this place was open early! I live in north park and I'm boycotting Starbucks. Anyways, I work at 7 am so finding a place open early wasn't easy. And there wasn't a long line of customers so that's a plus. I even found parking right away (probably because it was around 6 am lol). Cool place :)

I went in here to do some work. The ambiance is cool and has a lot of seating and lots of plugs available. I tried their turkey sausage breakfast sandwich which was very good. It was cheap and was not charged extra for avocado. Didn't have a chance to try their coffee though my friends got some and they said it was okay

Love this place for the ambience and the friendly staff! This is the PERFECT place to get work done, it has plenty of seating inside and outside, and a good amount of outlets! The coffee and food are pretty good too! Don't think it's the best coffee I've had but still tasty. Today I ordered the 'some like it hot' avo toast and it was yummy! It had a little kick and was on good quality bread. The vanilla latte I ordered was rather sweet and sort of reminded me of Starbucks caramel macchiato LOL

Absolutely love coming here to get work done or catch up with friends for a coffee on any given day. This place is one of my go-to coffee shops in North Park to study. Their drinks always hit the spot, the ambience is light and airy with plants all throughout the coffee shop, and bathroom is always clean. The workers are always so friendly and answer any and all of my questions. Not only do they have a variety of hot and/or iced drink, they also have pastries, sandwiches, and pizza available. Although parking can be a bit tough, especially on a weekend (street parking available only), it's definitely worth it. If you can, carpool with a friend!

Love love that they have vegan food options. I came at the end of the day so not a ton of options left but the coffee was delicious and the customer service is great. Decent space for remote working but did not test out the WiFi

I love the ambiance, I love that's it's part inside/part outside. Great place to study at. Workers are very friendly. But the food and drink were duds for me. Sausage breakfast sandwich is just a quick microwaveable one (think jimmy dean breakfast sandwich type), and I ordered a matcha latte but it was so grainy. Wish the food was better because I love the space! But really don't have a desire to go back.

I love that they are open so early so we can grab a coffee after our morning walk or I can grab one on the way in to the office. Their dirty chai is a fav of mine. I also love that they are dog friendly with treats avail at the register and pup cups available to order, even letting me order a small amount. Don't tell my poodle . He doesn't always get one when we visit but he's a happy pup when he does!

Cool vibes at Moe's. Very dog friendly, with outdoor seating and an open garage door that even dogs indoors seem ok. I ordered one of their seasonal specials, but to my dismay, the butter beer latte was just a regular, almost caramel like latte. For ~$7 after taxes! Pretty steep if you ask me. Ill be interested to dry a normal cup of coffee with them next time. Parking is a hit and miss in the busy North Park neighborhood, so drivers beware.

Perfect place to study or work out of and enjoy a drink or two. Study-wise, it's relatively quiet with pleasant but not overbearing music. Every now and then there's the occasional car racing down the road, but it's not too distracting. I really enjoy the spaciousness and amount of seating around (4 large tables toward the back with outlets, a middle bar inside with plenty of bar chairs but no outlet, and outside tables with umbrellas (not sure about outlets)). It definitely does get chilly since the "inside" is open to the elements with the glass wall raised up when the cafe opens, so I'd bring a layer or two. As for drinks, I stopped by towards the later afternoon, so I just got myself hot 16 oz bagged citrus mint tea. A bit on the pricey side for a bagged tea at around $6, but it was nice and soothing while I worked. Aesthetically, it's beautiful with lots of plants and greenery to furnish the simple industrial/rustic interior. The back wall has a gorgeous mural of monstera leaves that really completes the space. There's a good balance of inside and outside seating connected by a glass wall that opens during the day. Overall, I loved the vibe here at Moe Coffee and will be coming back to work sometime soon.

I came in to Moe Coffee to try out a new coffee location. The place is very cute and green. As I walked to the register I was greeted by Aubrey. Aubrey was super friendly and she recommended me the Iced Chai Latte. The drink was really good, I also substituted milk with oat milk. I ordered the Signature Moe Breakfast Sandwich. It's a planted based egg, patty, vegan cheese, tomatoes, and arugula. The sandwich was really good, I definitely would order it again next time. Overall the place was clean,dog friendly, the customer service was amazing and the food/drink was worth the visit.

Awful service. Came in and waited by the register for about 10min. and the guy behind the bar never acknowledged me. Might as well make this place a self serve at this point.

We stopped here during the San Diego Coffee Crawl (look it up and go do it!!! Peach is the most amazing guide). I love that this was included in our crawl, we tried a chai horchata latte here that was just to die for, and I think unanimously everyone's fave stop of the day! YUM! It's seasonal, so run don't walk.

First time coming to this cafe and love how they provide you with lots of options when it comes to drink and meals! I decided to go with their double espresso and it was flavorful. They have enough outlets for students to study here and definitely a pet friendly zone! Couple things I noticed: if you get hot really easily, it might be hard to enjoy to the fullest. They didn't have their AC on since it was an open-area. It is definitely hot inside even with the doors opened (IMO). Also for all the short people out there.. the tables might feel a bit too high (yes even with the high chairs). If you are planning on staying there to study for a long time, bring a cushion with yah But seriously this cafe is cute and really great place for chatting with friends or for a casual brunch! Pros: outlets inside and outside/ clean restroom/ wifi/ easy parking/ delish food& coffee/ great customer services/ pet friendly / easy parking Cons: high tables (I'm 5'1")/ can be hot & humid

Coffee is not the best, first time here & honestly not the best impression. The place was clean, a bit cold since it's a very open space. Seats are not comfortable. Sandwich I had was okay, prices are not bad. Staff were nice. Coffee which was the whole reason I tried this new place was not good.

Obviously a very cute coffee shop, biophilia on point. But been here twice and both times the service was extremely average and lack luster. Typically, I always have good interactions at coffee shops but this place literally does not make me want to go there for that reason alone. Very strange and unwelcoming vibe. It's also always very quiet because people stay in there for hours working... just weird. Doesn't promote a space for socializing or even talking while waiting for your coffee for that matter.

I found this coffee shop about 6 weeks ago. Although not perfect, I really like this place. I've only had espresso shots here. I was intrigued when I saw in-person that they had a Slayer espresso machine. I wanted to try espresso from a machine other than a La Marzocco (which I am also a fan of). The espresso shots are really good here. The food here is okay but it's a coffee shop, so I come here for the espresso. The ambiance is nice and spacious. There is plenty of seating on any given day. It can be chilly at times since they have an open space. The coffee shop itself is really nice looking and always clean. I wish that they had a better food menu and used ceramic cups for dine-in espresso orders instead of paper cups. Finding parking can take a little time.

Come check out Moe coffee next time you're in North Park! This was my first time checking this place out and I was surprised that they offer apps and alcoholic beverages along with coffee and baked goods. The ambience is chill and they have a great patio area where you can enjoy your food and drinks. Everything on their menu sounded great but I ended up going with a Margherita pizza since it was almost lunch time. The pizza was like a flatbread and it tasted great! I liked the balsamic drizzle and fresh tomatoes but wanted a little more cheese. Overall, the employees were friendly and I will definitely be back to try more off their menu!

AMAZING Horchata Oatmilk Chai- just the right amount of sweetness and incredible flavor. Do not miss it! Ambiance is very cool too and they are pet friendly!

The best place to study! Great coffee- can be a little pricy- but I love supporting a local coffee shop. Lots of tables and outlets inside and outside. I always go here when I need to cram for a test. Lots of street parking outside too, and they're open pretty late!

This place might just have to be my new go to coffee shop in my neighborhood as my favorite Young Hickory closed recently. The atmosphere is very open and airy, very relaxing and inviting. Me and my friend from out of town came here for the first time the other day and received great service. I got my usual almond milk sugar free vanilla latte and she got the coconut mocha special which she loved. Both coffees were great. I changed my food order after I already paid and they helped me out. I ended up getting the turkey sausage breakfast sandwich and my friend for the spicy avocado toast. Both great! We came here again for iced lattes the next day as it was hot out. I liked mine and she got a breakfast sandwich. We walked out and she was eating it while walking and realized it was still cold in the middle. We had to heat it up at home.

I got the bacon sandwich and hazelnut latte, both were disappointing. The bacon sandwich has 1 piece of bacon for $6...

Love this place for its location. It's quiet and away from busy street. Looking forward to checking it out again soon

I have been on the search for my go to coffee shop and I have finally found it. I live 3 min away, driving (I am a north park local, I can walk to like 2 coffee shops in the same amount of time.) so that means I really like this place. Strawberry matcha is a regular go to, but the seasonal menu is also irresistible. My fave barista Zander makes every visit memorable. I wish it wasn't midnight, and I could get one of those matcha's right now.

Really nice interior, friendly staff, and great place to do some work. Wifi was pretty fast and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered a 12 oz Chocolate Truffle hot latte and it was really tasty. Only con is a little overpriced in my opinion. Paid over $6+ Would definitely come back, maybe not for an everyday cup of Joe tho

Great spot for coffees and eats. Hey, that would be a great name for a place, "Coffee & Eats." I enjoyed a terrific pesto and provolone breakfast sandwich with added bacon and a hot Americano with milk. The pesto in the sandwich was quite tasty, and you can never go wrong with provolone cheese. In addition, of the bacon not only added flavor, but texture as well. The English Muffin was nicely toasted and of very good quality too. The Americano was just right and definitely provided that nice wake up call. The staff members at the counter were super nice and welcoming. Congrats on your second location Moe Coffee.
