This is hands down the worst Indian food I've ever had.
First the positives. It was quick, it was hot, and the naan was fine. They have Dr Pepper in bottles.
My expectations of quality were low and I expected it to be expensive at the airport, but I can't remember ever being more disappointed after any meal. The negatives are a long list:
-the chicken- it was hot, but that's all it had going for it. It tasted several days old and had none of the curry taste in the chicken. My best guess is it was canned chicken past its expiration date that was chopped up and thrown in the curry.
-the curry- was a step below the stuff you can buy in a bottle and warm up on the stove. Three steps below what I would expect at a mall or airport restaurant. The flavors that make tikka masala so good we're muted and the bad chicken made it unappetizing.
-the portions- considering the $22 price ($29 with a drink and taxes) it was nice that they provided lots of curry. The problem is you have to pick naan or rice, and the naan is only the size of your hand. That's enough naan to eat a quarter of the curry. So I'm left with bad chicken and curry that I would need to pay another $5.25 just to have some more naan or rice to eat it with. That's just throwing good money after bad, like paying to punish myself.
-the naan- it was fine. Not special, but way too small for its job. Texture was better than a stonefire toaster naan, but a little less flavor than grocery store naan. It appears that it was freshly baked and I'm sure I'd have no complains if it was paired with something edible.
Now I'm going to throw away enough curry and chicken to feed a small family, but I think I've spared them from a terrible dinner.
