"Note: As of October 2023, Mo's Original has reopened as Names with a somewhat different menu. Mo’s is just a neighborhood ramen place in the same way that Timbaland is just a Virginia-born record producer. Which is to say, this is way more than just a ramen spot. These people smoke their own meats and serve them with ramen noodles in a jerk-seasoned broth. If you’re wondering whether these unusual Japanese-Caribbean mashup dishes really work, the answer is yes. Our favorite, the spicy miso option is the perfect combination of salty, sweet broth and smoky, juicy meat in a huge bowl of noodles. Plus, this restaurant is from the people behind Glady’s, so it’s no surprise that everything costs less than $15. Come to this Prospect Lefferts Gardens spot for a weeknight dinner, a weekend date, or by yourself whenever you’re in the mood to be sedated by way of jerk ramen and sake. photo credit: Noah Devereaux" - Nikko Duren

The smoked Turkey was sooooo good! I tried a sample of it and the chicken before buying and I’m so glad I did because the taste was amazing. It came with 2 sides, so I ordered corn and Mac n cheese. The macaroni and cheese was flavorful and cheesy. I was not a huge fan of the flavor of the corn but it was hot & fresh. The corn bread was sweet and moist. I would return again to try the smoked chicken wings. All employees were very helpful, welcoming and happy to be there 😌 I’d recommend the smoked Turkey hands down!

I need to preface this with and I'm trying to be as neutral as possible because there was a family member who was employed at Moe's, and we heard how good it was through him. He hasn't been employed there for some time, and this was the first time I'd ever actually ate in the restaurant. You order the food and then they'll call your name out when it's done. It's a very simplified process. It's a nice sized restaurant with plenty of seating, however when we were there it got really busy which is a good sign. There were just as many people sitting in as there were people coming in and taking out food. The person I was with ordered the pulled pork sandwich with macaroni and cheese and had a beer. She really enjoyed the food. I order the smoked wings with mac and cheese and an order of fries. I don't know what I was really expecting when I ordered the food. But I was pretty blown away by the flavor of the wings, and how crispy and juicy they were. The French fries had a flavor that I can't describe but they were really good as I don't know what type of seasoning was put on them. The mac and cheese appears to be homemade and it is also very good. The portion size of the wings was perfect. I wish the mac and cheese and french fries were a little bit bigger, however I was very satisfied with my meal. I would definitely go back there and the price was very reasonable for what you get. The only issue I have with the location is the parking, as it is cramped and if you don't get there at the right time you may not get parking and may have to find elsewhere to park and walk.

Very quick service! Got our food within 5 minutes. Brisket was juicy. Cornbread had a nice balance of soft yet crumbly. Banana pudding was lightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon which really balanced the flavor and really enjoyed the bits of real banana topped with a Nilla Wafer. Just wished that the baked Mac n Cheese was a little warmer when served and had a bit more sauce to give it more flavor and moisture.

Y'all, let me tell you 'bout this BBQ joint that'll have you doing the happy dance right in your seat! Walking up to Moe's, that smoky aroma hit me like a ton of delicious bricks - my stomach started doing backflips and my mouth turned into Niagara Falls. The manager came out acting like we were long-lost cousins at a family reunion, and I ain't mad about it! Listen here, folks - them baked beans? SWEET BABY RAY AND ALL HIS COUSINS! They were so good, I wanted to rent a kiddie pool and just splash around in 'em (health department permitting, of course). These beans would make your grandma throw her recipe book in the trash and demand the secret. The pulled pork sandwich was so tender it was falling apart faster than my New Year's resolutions. And that jalapeño cornbread? It'll tickle your taste buds and make your tongue do the electric slide! My wife's turkey was slap-yo-mama good (sorry, Ma!). She wouldn't stop yappin' about it - I mean, this bird was so juicy it could've solved a drought. The slaw had her doing the happy dance in her seat like she just won the lottery! The service was sweeter than a Georgia peach, and the whole experience was more satisfying than finding money in your old jeans. If this place was any more authentic, it'd need its own country music song. Bottom line: If you ain't tried Moe's yet, you're missing out. Get your hungry self down there faster than a hot knife through butter! P.S. Those baked beans, though... I'm still dreaming about 'em! 🤤 Rating: 5 out of 5 napkins (trust me, you'll need 'em) #BeansDreams #SlawYeah

I am sad to say I wonder what has happened to Moe's? My husband and I ordered takeout from Moe's once or twice a month from the original owners before the business was sold. After that, we noticed a slight decline in quality but continued ordering a little less often, hoping this would correct itself with time. We ate our last meal there (before last night) about three months ago when our experience was so poor that we decided to take a break. Last night, we thought "why not give Moe's a try to see if the food has improved?". We both ordered a pulled pork plate with two sides and cornbread (I had my usual baked beans and potato salad). The pork - for both of us - was absolutely inedible. Sitting in a pool of clear liquid fat about 1/4" deep, the pork was soggy, flavorless, and with fat glistening throughout. We both threw it away. Although my cornbread was cold and hard, the beans and the potato salad (for which I now had to pay $1.50 extra, unlike before) were fine. That's the only reason my 3-star rating isn't lower. I am hopeful it is just an odd coincidence that this same meal I ate three months ago and again last night were both poor quality. I could have somehow hit Moe's both times on a "bad night", as I am trying to be generous. I cannot imagine any restaurant could stay open for long if they served those meals consistently like that. If we give Moe's one more try, it will likely be in another couple of months. At more than $30 paid for our two meals, it will take a while to convince us to return.

Omg. The macaroni and cheese is on point!!! Ribs and bbq were fantastic. Loads of seasoning, banana pudding was good. Jalapeño cornbread was just like my grandma’s. Highly recommend. Service was amazing.

Hello, I just wanted to share. I went down to Virginia to visit my father the past couple of days we stopped here to eat the food here is absolutely amazing the macaroni and cheese is so so good collard greens are good the pulled pork is good the turkey sandwich that I had was amazing!! The taste was just out of this world and their sauce is fantastic. I would truly stop at this place again on my next trip and look forward to stopping again love love the food here. They have a nice place for you to sit outside if you have your dog with you. They serve beer too😊🍽🍻

Google
Food options vary from day to day. We had the ribs and the rib sandwich. Both were great - and I am very particular about my BBQ! The sides we had were all very good. Also variation on the options from day to day. Our only "complaint" would be the limited options for sauces.

Garrison T.

Yelp
I got the moe boy. The sandwich was as good. A little salty. I would've loved to have gotten the collard greens but they were only available for the brisket. Food came out fast and staff was nice. They'd benefit from offering more sides, like cabbage.

Dallas A.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing BBQ at Moe's! The turkey was sublime: tender and made even more delicious by Moe's signature BBQ sauce. Mmmmmm! And to make it even better, I got some warm cornbread and some of the best banana pudding I've ever tasted. Will 100% come to Moe's every time I'm in Charlottesville!!

J J.

Yelp
Good stuff. Bbq has good Smokey flavor. Barely needs any sauce if any. Mac and cheese is excellent. And the best thing in the menu is the catfish. Great flavor.

Emma E.

Yelp
Moes is a solid place to get BBQ, so far it is one of my favs in cville. I would recommend it over red hub, ace bbq, and devils backbone (known for beer but also do bbq), but mission bbq up 29 still is my fav. If you're really into BBQ it may just feel average to you but overall the food is solid and I would be back. We ordered takeout for dinner, so it may be best to come in person for lunch when their food is fresher. I think they make it fresh daily but the earlier you can get there the better since they can run out. Our friends decided on a 1lb pulled pork platter to share with Mac and cheese baked beans buns cornbread and bbq sauce. This was abt $45 tax and tip and can feed 3-4 hungry adults. I would HIGHLY recommend the family packs - the regular plates run about $20 each, so you'll probably save money ordering this way. Food was kinda a mixed bag. The bbq sauce is the only one they have available it sounds like but this is not a problem - their sauce is AMAZING! Really delicious smoky slightly sweet and tangy flavor. Very good. The buns were also really really good, nice and large and cooked. Glad it wasn't a raw bun out of a package. I was kind of disappointed in their pork - the pull is great, same with the portion and the smokiness, but it seems like their temp was either too high or they cooked a bit long. Either way, the pork was pretty dry and since this was the main event I knocked them back a star. The cornbread had mixed reviews, I may have been the only one who liked it. It is a breadier cornbread so not cake-like and it comes without corn pieces but with pieces of either jalapeño or green pepper. I like a more savory cornbread and it was moist and subtle so I thought it was good. My boyfriend prefers a sweeter more dessert tasting CB, so just heads up that it leans more savory. It is also pretty tame in terms of the seasoning. The mac and cheese also received mixed reviews. Again I liked it but some other in our party did not. It is actually really well seasoned and very moist, which is a bit hard to do with a baked mac. This is a BBQ joint, so it's a southern baked Mac and cheese which is what it should be from a place like this. Unfortunately the cheese gets a little lost which just happens with baked macs sometimes, but I was impressed with the seasoning and the moisture level. Overall it's good but don't expect sauciness or a lot of cheesiness. It's a well seasoned baked pasta with some cheese bits. The baked beans are out of this world - best I've ever had. Highly recommend you pick this. They have peppers and pork and maybe some other stuff in there. In any case the flavor is really complex and really well seasoned. Very very good. Overall I was impressed with the seasoning in multiple dishes here, and if they could nail down the temp/time on the pulled pork this would be a knockout. I would definitely go in earlier in the day to try to get it fresh made and I'd love to try some of their other sides and meats! I'd be back.

Nick S.

Yelp
Pretty solid bbq, had the smoked wings with their coleslaw which was fantastic. Service was great and very clean establishment.

Brandie W.

Yelp
Holy smoker!! I have been dreaming about this place since we went! It was so so so good! That Mac and cheese is heavenly and those ribs honey, delicious! I am not a fan of cornbread with actual corn in it, and this delivered! It doesn't have corn pieces but it does come with a touch of a kick and then they toast it..yum! I could put that Alabama White sauce in a cup and drink it too. We will be making special trips up for this place, that's for sure!

Stacy J.

Yelp
We went with our out of town family as the reviews looked good. We were sorely disappointed. Our pork and beef brisket both had a lot of fat and grisel, which we had to dig through to find the good meat. We have had a lot better bbq.

Joelle M.

Yelp
After game lunch before heading home: decent enough to try again. Changed out side of greens for recommendation of hoppin Johnny ( black eyed peas n rice)- should of known when he said their okay. Nothing to write home about. Greens pretty good made w/smoked sausage, pulled pork nice amount for the platter 2 sides n drink $13. Sunday special beef brisket platter 2 sides n drink $18 (not sure it was worth it, should post cost). No a fan of their cornbread, baked beans good. Good customer service and friendly staff.

Jim L.

Yelp
Wife and I stopped by Moe's for a Sunday lunch. Parking is in the rear. The interior is warm and cozy. The cashier took our order and the food came out after a short wait. I had the smoked chicken wing platter and wife had the half smoked chicken. I loved that the food came out hot. Chicken wings were moist and tasty. It had a nice smokey flavor. I preferred the traditional bbq over the "Alabama" white sauce. The sides were good. I recommend asking the cashier about their daily special sides. The sweet potato fries that came with my wife's platter was very good. If you like great bbq at reasonable prices then this is the place.

Sean R.

Yelp
Good barbecue but still feels average/service was good/wait time was short. Will eat there again.

M P.

Yelp
Very good!! Fall of the bone ribs with nice seasoning and good sauce choices. A few local brews on tab. Clean, fast and friendly! They have their own parking lot. Recommend!

J Michael W.

Yelp
I'll cut to the chase....the last cut of brisket I was served (in a platter to go) was literally 70% fat. It looks like they gave me the fat cap off of the brisket. There's no way that this was accidentally done. The chef had to see that the piece of meat that he cut for me was 3/4" of fat and 1/4" of meat. This was consistent throughout the cut of meat except for a couple of burned ends. I've patronized Moe's since their opening-glad to have good BBQ so close to my home. I've always thought that their pulled pork was a bit dry, but the sides were so good that it didn't matter. Brisket was the star protein to me. Now, not so much. Added to that was an unfortunate incident when I decided to dine at the restaurant instead of taking out-a housekeeper literally chased me out of the place, insisting on cleaning under the table where I was sitting. He chased me from two tables, and finally to the bar. All this while the fellow taking orders watched and said nothing. Sorry to see Moe's decline in food quality and service. It's a longer trip for me now, but I'll be spending my BBQ dollars with Vision BBQ from now on. Pity.

Bob M.

Yelp
Whenever I am this way during meal time I always stop and eat here at Moes. I normally get the smoked wings, collards and baked beans. All is good. Service is fast. You order then go to a table while your order is being processed. Never had a bad meal here. They even have a small bar area.

Barbara B.

Yelp
The food was pretty decent loved the cornbread the sides need a lil pizazz but otherwise decent - cheer wine yum

Emily B.

Yelp
Moe's was a great BBQ experience! Petey aka John was so nice and friendly and let us try all of the sides which were AMAZING btw. The collard greens and mud pie were some of our favorites. The food was unbelievable and reasonably priced and the ambience was great. It was also ready pretty quick. They even have a little bar inside. Great stuff!

S R.

Yelp
Loved the brisket. Atmosphere was authentic and service was really good. Easy to get to.

R M.

Yelp
We stopped for a quick bite before an event at JPJ, but came back for dinner the next day because it was so good! The brisket was delicious! The pulled pork was probably the best I've ever eaten! The slaw is not "Cole slaw", so pay attention! It's a marinated picked slaw! Fantastic!!

J E.

Yelp
I enjoyed lunch here on a weekday and was lucky enough to get here right before the lunch crowd arrived! This place gets busy at lunch time, so be prepared! They have an interesting menu loaded with the typical smoked eats (chicken, pork, ribs, etc) and so many sides, all homemade, as well as sandwiches that all looked quite appetizing. Service was great... very friendly and helpful! Their sauce is good, has black pepper style spice to it. The chicken is perfectly brined and nicely smoked! Sides were good.... Mac & Cheese was a fav! Cornbread stuffing was second fav... Cole slaw is interesting, but not that great. Tater salad was nicely done. Overall, I'll be back, as I definitely want to try their "Moe Boy Shrimp Sandwich!"

Allen T.

Yelp
Got this catered to the school for one of the events I attended. This review is for the pulled pork, wings, mac and cheese and loaded beans. Pulled Pork (3/5) - a little dry, but I was hungry and the BBQ sauce took the dryness out Chicken Wings (5/5) - Super crispy (WHICH I LOVE!!!). Great flavor and skin was thoroughly salted Mac and Cheese (3.5/5) - also dry but very good Beans (5/5) - OMG THESE ARE INSANE.. THEY MIX BITS OF PULLED PORK IN HERE!!! Overall decent BBQ place.

Cassie M.

Yelp
Not bad, but when we went for dinner the only meats they had left were: Turkey, catfish, & shrimp. So that was relatively disappointing; however, I liked that you could have a dessert as a side! The Oreo pudding was the special that day & I enjoyed it. The macaroni was alright, & I did enjoy the Turkey sandwich.

Melissa W.

Yelp
We were driving through Charlottesville on a trip from Texas and had a hankering for some barbecue. Moe's had great reviews so we decided to try it. What a treat! it lived up to the hype and surpassed our expectations. my husband loved the slaw and its crisp tanginess. Our family loved the beans. The squash casserole reminded me of my grandma's. All of the meats were cooked deliciously. We wish Moe's was closer to home so we could come back again over and over. Definitely recommend!!!

Gianna S.

Yelp
This is a solid place for BBQ. The portions were on the smaller size for the price, but the pulled pork had great flavor and the wings had a pretty decent kick to them. Highly recommend the cole slaw. It is more vinegar-based, not heavy on the mayo, with lots of herbs and flavors in it. Best thing on the menu by far!

Diane M.

Yelp
Happened upon Moe's during a recent visit to the city. Great atmosphere for families, friends and singles. Wonderful bbq sandwiches and more. Staff was friendly and helpful with ordering and I even bought some of their sauce to take home. Location is near UVA and plenty of parking.

Darryl J.

Yelp
I'm from Richmond va, this place is very good highly recommended, good service and great food

Emily C.

Yelp
A really great spot! Food was so good I would highly recommend this spot for lunch during the week the food comes out fast and the service is wonderful :)

Stephanie W.

Yelp
If I could give no stars, I would!!! I ordered hush puppies and got cornbread. It was nasty. The coleslaw and potato salad was horrible. However, the baked beans were delicious. The cat fish pieces taste was alright however the portion size could've been better for the price. When I called to share my disapproval, the manager, Tanisha appeared not to care. This was the worst $60 spent on a birthday dinner for 2 people. It was my first and last time going!!!!!

Nancy H.

Yelp
Went here with friends and we all enjoyed our meal! Our food was delicious and the portions were HUGE. I opted for the pulled pork platter and got Mac and cheese and slaw and it came with cornbread. My platter was delicious and I really enjoyed the pork. I also heard the catfish was fantastic and moist and I'm looking forward to trying it the next time I visit!

Vicki K.

Yelp
The food was pretty good, but just fyi they run out of things on the menu by the end of the day. The chicken was really great though. We got curbside pickup but they didn't find our car for a while which was weird.

Nicole G.

Yelp
I genuinely am baffled by the fact that this place was empty on a Saturday afternoon because it was incredible. I got the pulled pork sandwich as my main. It was huge, packed with meat, and just delicious. I got the mac and cheese and broccoli casserole as my sides. Both were just out of this world delicious. I have absolutely no complaints about anything I got, and it was more than enough food for me. I do agree with other Yelp-ers that I would have loved to see different styles of BBQ sauce from different parts of the country. However, the one that they have was good!

Michele D.

Yelp
Always hits the spot before heading to a UVA game at JPJ. My go to is the chicken bbq sandwich with slaw. It can be busy, because it's incredible food, expect a wait or grab you food to go.

Lewis W.

Yelp
I got the brisket platter and some smoked chicken wings with Hoppin' John (rice topped with black eyed peas) and potato salad. Everything was delicious, the restaurant was clean (including the bathrooms, and everyone seemed friendly. I will have to come back for the pork barbecue and fried catfish.

Tryn L.

Yelp
Regarding a pick up order: The bbq was decent enough for me to get it again if I really wanted it but other than that, it wasn't very enjoyable. Other than the baked beans I seriously disliked all of the sides that I got (potato salad, collard greens, cornbread, banana pudding) and wouldn't ever consider ordering them again. It seems like a nice spot but as a black person with a love for well cooked sides it was very disappointing.

Chris R.

Yelp
My first time to a Moe's BBQ. It was good for chain bbq. I had the pulled pork platter with Mac and cheese and red beans and rice. Nice subtle smoke on the pork, the red beans had good flavor, Mac and cheese was good but could have been more moist. Really good for $11.

April H.

Yelp
This might be my new go-to BBQ place in Cville (overtaking Mission BBQ)! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent - the meat was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. The first bite was amazing. I like how the buns were slightly crispy on the edges. The cole slaw and mac and cheese were good and went well with the sandwich. I would liked it if the mac and cheese were a little cheesier (it was on the drier end). The meat really set this place apart. Reasonable prices and pleasant staff. Convenient location on Ivy Rd. I hope to be back soon, and maybe I'll try something else on the menu!

N A.

Yelp
Visiting VA from So Cal and we wanted to try some BBQ while passing through town. Found this little spot and were very happy with our decision. We had ribs, beans, pulled pork and Mac/Cheese. Oh, cannot forget the AMAZING cornbread that appeared to have been griddled to get it a bit crisp, SO GOOD! Topped off our dinner with some very sweet and delicious banana pudding. It was all delicious and the portion were just the right size. The restaurant is cozy and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Michael J.

Yelp
Had the never to remove three honest but respectful reviews on the fourth of July post and blocked on Facebook. Wow did not even attempt to ask any of us why we didn't have a good experience. So on top of mediocre food, tiny portions and over the top prices you're all sketchy and uncaring. Wow guys.

Billy B.

Yelp
Great food at a reasonable price for how much you get. Super friendly service. Petey came out and talked to us for a while, gave us a couple free sides, and was all around extremely welcoming. Awesome experience all around!

Jimmy H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Moe's. We just got in from Florida and were looking for a place to eat in Charlottesville. We found this place and decided to give it a try since BBQ always varies in different states. You walk up to the counter to order, very causal restaurant. I order the pull pork platter, which was only $11. All platters come with a drink, cornbread, and 2 sides.....$11 is a steal. I real enjoyed the pulled pork, the BBQ sauce seemed to be a vinegar base sauce, which I prefer over a really sweet BBQ sauce. The cornbread was very good and had small pieces of jalapeño inside; the Mac and cheese was also tasty. I also ordered the "marinated slaw", I was expecting the traditional cole slaw, but it was cabbage and veggies marinated in a vinegary sauce without mayo. The slaw was good, just not what I was expecting. Going to Moe's was a great way to start off our 2 days in Charlottesville!

Connie M.

Yelp
On recommendation I tried out Moe's today because I was craving barbecue. Omg was this good. I tried the pulled pork platter which comes with a drink, cornbread, and two sides for $11. My sides were potato salad and beans. Every bite of this meal was delicious. The pulled pork was a little bland and dry, but they provided a cup of sauce that really added the flavor it needed. That plus I dumped my beans into it which were loaded with flavor and a little spice. The beans were the best thing on the plate. Also the cornbread was lightly toasted which enhances the flavor! It had chunks of possibly jalapeño inside for some light heat. The potato salad was not overwhelming on mustard which is what usually kills it for me. Pleasantly surprised on that. Overall great taste and great value!

Denby S.

Yelp
This used to be a reliable, tasty meal. Under new ownership it took 6-8 months to get a liquor license. I happen to like a sip of bourbon along with my pig. On arrival I was informed that at 4:30 PM they were out of brisket. Ok. 1/2 Chicken platter, please. And to drink? I'll have an Old Fashioned please. "How do you make that?" Its bourbon. How many shots???? Really? Waited on my food. Another different server walked over and said he didn't know how to make my drink. I told him basically. It's the simplest bourbon drink out there. And the most classic. And perfect on a snowy Sunday afternoon. Cornbread was refrigerator cold. Chicken was sliced (half cut through) in a new weird way that left awkward little bone splinters in my mouth. Also, I don't tip for someone who doesn't know what I even ordered to input into a computer. I picked it myself when my name was called. Cleared my table myself. Tipping is for customer service which was not available this afternoon. My last visit to what was a local favorite.

Wendy M.

Yelp
First time we've eaten at Moe's. We don't end up on Ivy Rd often. However, today we did and decided to give it a try. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. Food recommendations were spot on. I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese, squash casserole, and a drink for $10. The Alabama red sauce was well-balanced, both a little sweet and a little spicy. They even have a happy hour Monday-Friday from 3-7.

John M.

Yelp
I had my first experience with Moe's last night. I was pleasantly surprised with my meal. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich platter. I chose mac and cheese and squash casserole as my two sides. It was nice that a drink comes with the meal. We arrived during happy hour but didn't have any drinks. They had reasonable prices for their alcohol as well. We did have an attractions book coupon which allowed for BOGO. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I'm typically a Eastern NC BBQ fan, so I was surprised that this wasn't an option. While I was originally disappointment, their sauce was a good substitute. FYI -- They only have one sauce. It comes on the sandwich but there is more available on the condiment table. Overall, I wouldn't have an issue returning.

Scott B.

Yelp
Great brisket, collards and all of the sides delish, sweet tea, and they have dessert

KG W.

Yelp
Good food. It is a small place that seems to do a lot of carry-out. They have about a dozen tables and only one menu up on the wall. Order at the counter and pick up your food when your name is called.

Jacqueline C.

Yelp
We came here on a Monday night and it was pretty empty. The ribs and chicken were decent; nothing exceptional though. The cashier was also the server so he could be busy at times. We got the kids meal and it's perfect for a bite.

Jeff C.

Yelp
This place is legit, right down to the hush puppies! Great pulled pork, ribs, wings, and catfish. You can taste the hickory smoke in the meats, including the wings. The sides don't disappoint, and neither do the desserts. I'm from North Carolina, and this is some of the best barbecue I've ever eaten. If you're ever in Charlottesville, this place is a must stop for a meal.

Valerie C.

Yelp
Visited Moe's for the first time at the new location on Water St. Fun and lively atmosphere. Great place to catch some March Madness and enjoy the beautiful weather. Staff is super friendly. The bar has plenty of drink options and my food was delicious. I will definitely be going back for the catfish sandwich and mac and cheese!

Lisa G.

Yelp
I stopped in for an early dinner and got the Wednesday special brisket platter. The brisket was tasty and extremely juicy; it didn't require any sauce. The platter came with corn bread (a healthy portion, a little sweet with a slight hot pepper edge) and two sides. I chose the collard greens (exceptionally good) and squash casserole (wonderfully cheesy and flavorful) and added a side of jambalaya for lunch tomorrow. The cashier and kitchen staff were super nice and helpful and the interior of the restaurant was comfortable and neat. I have heard great things about the chicken salad, and I want to try other items on the menu, so I'll definitely be back.

Tried Moe's Food truck today. I had heard it was a bit pricy, and I agree. I had the Moe bowl which was $9 and it was good, but portion size was not comparable to any of the other food trucks in our area. It was a good snack, and I'd pay $4-5 for the portion, but it needs SOMETHING else for a $9.
