Möge Tee Review - Union Square - New York - The Infatuation

"Möge Tee’s tall, clear cups showcase the artistry of its drinks, which are heavy on swoops and swirls of frozen fruit. Cheese foam and fruit slush are the specialties here, and if you can’t decide, you’re in luck, because they also do cheese foam fruit tea slush. The black grape version of this is one of our favorite summertime drinks, and the fruit Yakult is perfection: whole slices of lemon, orange, or grapefruit, smashed in a cup, topped with several Yakults and a ton of ice. Möge has about 16 locations across the boroughs, so you’re never too far from a brain freeze." - Carina Finn

Moge Tee shares its space with Nan Noodles, and honestly, it’s a solid combo. The inside is clean, spacious, and way more inviting than you’d expect from a strip mall setup. Booth seating, warm lighting, and plenty of room make it a great spot to hang for a bit. I ordered the "Super Fruit Four Season Oolong Tea" and loved it. It’s packed with real fruit—orange slice, lime slice, lemon slice, watermelon slice, passion fruit seeds—and comes in a hefty 24 oz cup. Light, fruity, and not overly sweet, with the oolong still shining through. I did 75% sugar and it was just right. Ordering is done through a kiosk, service was friendly, and my drink was ready in under 5 minutes. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality and portion size justify it. Between the refreshing drinks and the noodle menu, it’s the kind of place you could accidentally turn into a regular hangout. I’ll be back for sure, and maybe next time I’ll grab some dumplings too.

I’ve been having Moge Tee since around 2019 in Michigan and will continue to do so wherever I go. They are a chain tea store that serves boba, fruit tea, and many other drinks using fresh fruit and other ingredients. I have been getting the fruit slush with cheese foam almost exclusively for many years. I have tried other things, but the fruit slush with cheese foam is my favorite. You can see all the fresh fruit they buy when they are restocking which is nice to see. The sweetness of the fruit slush followed by the saltiness of the cheese foam at the end is unmatched! Note that this location shares the unit space with Nan Noodles. When the restaurant is very empty or late in the evening I sometimes like to sit down in there to drink my tea.

Moge Tea serves fresh and flavorful milk tea, making it a solid choice for bubble tea lovers. The only downside is the wait time—it can be a bit long, especially during peak hours. But overall, the drinks are worth it, and I’d definitely come back again!

We went around early lunch on a weekend. No one had ordered in front of us but we waited 15 minutes for our drinks. Half the time was waiting for the only staff to use a manual can opener for canned beans. It feels like this bbt counter was an after thought, just a side business. I ordered the Osmanthus Bubble Milk Tea 30% sugar and was disappointed with the flavor and quality of boba.

Love the variety of flavours here. Recently I got the mango pomelo drink with cheese foam, which I loved. Nice decor and plenty of indoor seating, which is a pleasant surprise.

Google
The famous franchise, which is famous for it's milk tea and other drinks. Almost all items on the menu are in good taste. Multiple choices are available. However the store is open with the other Chinese cuisine only occupying the corner of the restaurant.

Google
Pretty good. Black milk tea tastes like 'roasted' milk tea. Not too sweet even at 100% sugar. Fruit green tea is very colorful and just as tasty. Moge Tee is located inside the restaurant off to the right. There are kiosks for ordering and human service is minimal (probably not ideal if you have a question or problem with your order). I think boba is listed as 'chewy balls' or something.

Yelp
This place shares space with Nan Noodle, and is located right at the entrance when you get in. You can place your order just on the kiosk nearby, and you can customize your ice and sugar levels for most drinks here, which consists of your regular milk tea flavors. I got the Oreo milk tea, which started off as foamy on the top with Oreo bits but dissolved while I was driving home. Taste is all right though even at 50% sweetness and regular ice it was still too sweet for my liking. Nothing too special here, though some friends have told me that their cheese foam drinks are worth a try since I enjoy my cheese!

Yelp
- perfect for milk tea addicts - This is one of my husband's fav places along with "don't yell at me", "coco" and "happy lemon". They have fancy drinks here, but the fanciness is reflected on the price (yeah they are more pricy, unfortunately). My husband's go to is the milk tea with taro paste and tofu flower, and sometimes the toppings are out of stock and he will be sad. The mochi here is also delicious, but it costs more than $1. I ordered the matcha creme brulee for the first time as it's popular, and while it's good I don't really understand why it's called creme brulee since... There is no brunt cream lol! There is no place to enjoy your drink here since they are essentially sharing the spot with Nan noodles. It's similar to the setup of YGF matalang and lucky cube, which they encourage you to eat and drink at the same time. Ps. If you can read Chinese, you can use one of the Chinese to-go apps as they frequently offer coupons for this place.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place, but I found it to be underwhelming. The drink was just OK. I ordered a rose bubble milk tea, but I found both the rose and tea flavor to be very faint and mostly drowned out by sugar. The boba texture could have been softer and chewier as well.

Yelp
This is my second time coming and it's been less than a week since I was first here. Their tea is sooo good with the milk tea base. We tried their milk tea last time so we decided to try their more special drinks like green grape tea with boba and red bean coconut slush. Both super good with 30-50% sweet. Definitely my go to place for drinks in this side of Bellevue.

Yelp
It was a nice sunny weekend so decided to grab something cold to cool off. I've been here twice so far and the drinks has been consistent. I liked their fruit tea slush the best imo. I ordered the green grape tea slush while my partner tried their coco watermelon slush. Both drinks were very refreshing and you can taste the tea in each drinks. The coconut really stood out when mixed with watermelon. It has a nice tropical drink vibe. You order the drinks at the kiosk or at the cashier when they're not busy. One thing that bugs me is when this small place is shared with a restaurant. It can get confusing with customers waiting in line for either to order drinks or to be seated. I wish there's a wall to separate the dining area.

Yelp
So happy there's one here in Bellevue after trying the one in U district and loving it, glad I don't have to drive across the bridge for this taste! Their boba is always cooked nicely and their flavors are well-balanced--you can taste the tea along with the fruit slush. Their rose milk tea is fragrant and light, not overpowering at all with an adjustable sweetness and ice level. They have a lot of cheese foam options along with a nice variety of milk and fruit teas! You can self order from a pad, or a cashier will help you out in timely manner. It's quiet in here if you come during off hours because this tea station is attached to nan noodles next door. Highly recommend checking them out while they're still soft opening! Delicious and refreshing tea :)

Yelp
TL;DR: grab and go only. Overpriced imo ($19 for two drinks). Parking: small shared lot. Atmosphere: no seating accommodations. The place shares the space with the restaurant is just off to the side. Menu: on the kiosk itself, self explanatory. Items are on the pricey side, especially if you add toppings (not included in any drink). Service: order and pay at the kiosk, wait for your order to be called, grab and go. Mango Cheese Foam with Pomelo: the cheese foam adds the perfect amount of creamy and saltiness to the mango pomelo but I admit that I didn't really taste the pomelo and the mango wasn't really that flavorful. The bits of fruit were a nice touch. All in all, it was a nice one time experience but I most likely won't be coming again. I only ordered 2 drinks and it cost me $19 with tax -- too pricey in my opinion. I'd rather spend the money on something that I can munch on rather than drink.

Yelp
Moge Tee is soft opening in Bellevue, and has a kiosk/ counter space inside the Nan Noodles restaurant. There are 2 touchscreens where you can order your drinks. Orders were prepared quickly and there was not much of a wait. I ordered the Cheese Foam Mango Pomelo, one of their recommended/popular drinks. The cup comes with a cute domed panda shaped lid with ears. The cheese foam was tasty and the mango and pomelo added a fruity tartness to the drink.

Yelp
New boba spot!! In their soft opening they offer to remake anything you're not satisfied with, and I didn't need it! They have large (normal size) and medium sizes which I like as an inbetween of the small kid like size you see sometimes. The cheese foam came with a funky lid that you can use your straw and optionally open or close a super wide mouth lid! We got the rose bubble milk tea & the rose oolong cheese foam, but it was hard to choose because they have so many fun options. The boba itself was nice and chewy and the coconut lychee jelly was truly great. The cheese foam was thick and salty. Quick service too!! Would recommend. Excited to come back to try all of the things!

Yelp
I got the matcha creme brulee, and it was quite good! It was pretty expensive though. My friend got the cheese foam green grape slush. It was inside a restaurant, so we did takeout, but there were touch screens to order, and our drinks were ready quickly

Yelp
All considering we fell upon this place while going to Nan Noodles (Moge Tee is inside the restaurant) I decided to give one of their drinks a try and really enjoyed it! I had their black grape tea slush and it was very good and not overly sweet. Then menu looks like their selections are good and will definitely need to add them onto my must go back list. Judging by the consistent number of clients it appears they've got the following. The service was no frills as you order from the machine and they whip up your drink. Can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
I got the uji matcha with cheese foam and boba here, and the drink came out fairly quickly. You order at the kiosk and pay there. The matcha is decent - it was refreshing, and the cheese foam was also good, worth the 50 cent extra. The boba is okay and could be better - it was a little bit undercooked and not as chewy, so I would probably not recommend that topping and go straight with the drink itself.

Yelp
It's not bad but I wouldn't come back. I got the black grape slush with added coconut lychee jelly and it's a unique drink- not too grape-y but the best part was the jelly. My partner got the lemon/lime tea and liked it a lot. Drinks are pretty pricey here. Service is fine, no real interaction since everything is done on the kiosk. Moge is located inside of a noodle shop.

Yelp
Really good menu of different type of drinks. Love the kiosk ordering system. The boba here was too small for my liking however the cream brûlée was good. I'd try Mochi and their matcha next time. They actually share their location inside with a restaurant.

Yelp
The tea is very clean and crisp. Not too sweet when I got 70% sugar level and very chewy mini boba. Highly recommend the classic milk tea for the original flavor! I love that even though I ordered 0% ice level, my drink is still chilled without ice. Appreciate the staff taking extra time to do this instead of giving me lukewarm milk tea or throw in a few ice as shortcut. Also, I love the cup btw. It's cute and feels bougie. The ordering app is a little clunky. Maybe have the fonts be slower so I can see more options at once instead of having to keep scrolling.

Yelp
I'm glad there is one in Bellevue now! Moge Tea has a lot of fruit tea, milk tea , cheese foam, and more! I always get cheese foam mango pomelo and been my favorite. Always fresh. Place is clean and very quick. You can order from the kiosk

Yelp
Moge Tee has great bubble tea! It was just sweet enough. I had the watermelon and it tasted just like I was biting into a watermelon. Check out my review on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TfKDnWRUhSc

Yelp
Trying this place for the first and unfortunately not impressed with their drinks. I got the four season milk tea with boba and four season fruit oolong tea with boba and both were not good. The fruit drink was bland and milk tea tasted like milk and water, didn't taste tea in it at all.
