This place needs MORE reviews and can't believe this rating average! Such a CUTE shop on the inside and some of the BEST and FRESHEST bubble tea I have ever had (and it is something I get quite a lot at any place that serves it). You can tell they use fresh fruits and such instead of just some artificial flavors squirted into a cup, great flavors and chunks of fresh fruits in it as well. Purple Potato (taro) and mango were both fantastic. Bonus points for a super cute lid with ears.

The service was good and fast. The last time I was there was before the Covid pandemic, I had my hot tea and enjoyed read some pages from one their library, since the pandemic they is only pick up and delivery option so I went there today with my son hoping to get to have a hot tea and go through some books but unfortunately still no sitting inside allowed but we still did enjoyed some nice iced Matcha tea.

The staffs are friendly and patient with the order. I ordered a DHP bubble tea but they are running short of bubbles. They communicated clearly and asked if I’d prefer other toppings or have the rest of the bubbles. The quality is pretty much the same or even sightly better than those in Manhattan even it’s a new spot. They got nice space here, too.

The place is so cute even tho the outside can make you think it’s closed. The staff was inviting and helpful considering everyone is not familiar with bubble tea. She explained everything was fresh no powder which was super helpful. I ended up asking which one was the sweetish, she choose brown sugar and it did not disappoint. No one was in there when I went but it’s def a cute spot to have a drink and catch up I loved the cup and def worth saving!

Got a iced Matcha bubble tea with Cheese Foam with 30% sugar. It was amazing. Not too sweet and great matcha blend.

No flavor powder used. Tea is brewed daily in the morning. Fruit tea made with fresh fruit and cream cheese top whipped fresh everyday. Other than traditional milk tea, the mango pomelo, and lychee yoghurt tea are my personal favorite. Have to try the zero calories, plant based Bingfen Jelly dessert made by hand using Bingfen seeds. Not made by powder off the shelf.

The space has a nice atmosphere! There’s still a lot of boxes and organizing happening but didn’t take away from being able to sit and enjoy bubble tea. Had my laptop out, was working and grooving. Enjoyed and will return!

Best place for killing time! The best bubble tea I‘ve ever had (at least the best one around jersey city) Love it so much! Highly recommend!

Large spacious store with plenty of seating. Located on one side of a big boulevard. It's very easy to walk here from the lightrail station. There's plenty of fruit slushes and cheese foam teas. I tried the cheese foam osmanthus oolong tea with 50% sugar which had a nice light flavor that wasn't overwhelming.

Been coming to get a boba fix around work or with friends! One time we stayed as long as the store was closing. Sometimes it can get quick busy with all the online order so the wait can be long. It use to be a Paris baguette I think or something so there is ample space to sit inside. I am not the biggest boba fanatic so I don't remember all the drinks I've gotten. The one pictures was interesting but not a big fan of the crunch. The fruit tea is decent. There was a creme brûlée favor tea that I got here but found it too sweet and strange. Def not getting again. The brown sugar boba is always good but very sweet as you can expect. Def would recommend as a good place to catch up with friends!

This store gives out rotten avocado smoothies. Looks like shit. Tastes like shit. Have had normal avocado smoothies in other moge tee locations. But won't buy anything at this store!!!

- Got the fruit tea and cheese foam dragon fruit - I guess dragon fruit isn't my thing - But they specialize in cheese foam drinks so wanted to try one - Might go with my usual next time I go - Lots of seating space inside and good for groups

We love bubble, and we wanted to love this place so much that we went twice in two days. The Mango Coco Cream was delicious. The texture was a little thick, but the flavor was great. We tried two others as well, but they didn't pass the yum test. The lychee had limited flavor and so did the Hawaiian tea. I kept searching for the yum, but it eluded me. They do have some fun games and clean bathrooms, so those earned a bonus star.

Good bubble tea place, uses very fresh ingredients. There are so many unique drinks. I like some fruit drinks there and bubble is always good addition. They also use unique plastic cups which is good enough to keep. I would definitely stop by if I am in the neighborhood. We usually go there after meal at Menya Sadaime which is next door.

Great selection of drinks.Friendly staff.Very efficient. My favorites are brown sugar boba milk and creme brulee uji matcha.Only takeout due to covid restrictions.

Not the best first experience. It wasn't terribly busy when I stopped in on a random Monday afternoon, but it wasn't quiet either. A few people were waiting for drinks, and I stepped up to the counter to order. There were menus in three different places, which was slightly confusing. The girl was nice and took my order, but it took about 10 minutes from the time I ordered until I got my tea. And I somehow went ahead of everyone else? So that was mildly confusing. The drink itself was good, the cups are quite cool and easy to put the straw in which was a plus. However I got a fruit tea and took the lid off when I finished the liquid to dig around at the fruit and jelly-and there was a sticker from one of the fruits. If i hadn't taken the lid off, I never would've seen it and would've just swallowed it. Not super impressed about that.

Customer service gets a 2, the lychee with yogurt really needed more flavor or combined with something else. The mango with Coco milk was really amazing. I thought the thick layer was coconut cream but afterwards I think it was "moge". Still not sure what moge is.

Came here for the first time during covid times. For the most part safety regulations were met with the mask wearing + plexi glass barriers. Only saw one instance where a staff member wasn't wearing mask properly. Cheese foam peach oolong, 30% sugar and less ice- cheese foam taste wasn't as strong as I would expect. I liked that the drink definitely wasn't very sweet at all, where sometimes it's still too sweet even at 30% sugar level. I wish the tea and cheese foam flavors were a bit stronger. Lemon yakult - 30% sugar and less ice. Very refreshing and light! Even with less sugar, the lemon wasn't too acidic or sour and blended with the yakult flavor well. Would definitely come back!

Ordered takeout through their online website. It was ready 10 min before the estimated time and we arrived 15 min late - the drinks were still hot! I like the purple yam dirty milk drink, as the boba gave it a chewy taste. The four season milk tea with 0 sugar is a winner - very refreshing and yummy! Tips: Their operation time changes every week during covid-19 so make sure you check it up before visiting.

This place provides the most freshly made bubble tea that I have ever had. All fruits were tasted fresh. Even though the price is a bit higher than other places, I still prefer this one.

Not bad for milk tea, this location has strawless cups for the non bubble drinks. The bubbles themselves are a little bit tasteless but the tea and browned sugar are good with milk. Lots of reading space here and sitting for those working on laptops or reading or studying. Expensive relative to the Chinatown versions but it's to be expected in Newport.

We placed our order online for pickup. Good luck with parking though. I didn't like it too much. One of them was a black grape tea drink and the other a purple yam. The cream was too sweet so it was different. Maybe I'd go back for a different drink.

Thank goodness for an authentic bubble tea place in Jersey City finally! They don't use powder for their drinks. That's so 2005. We went yesterday while the coronavirus pandemic/panic is going on and we really appreciate this new location's approach to ensuring that they are being safe and ensuring customers are safe and exercising caution. All the staff were wearing masks, they asked for patrons to wear protective masks, and they only offered takeout only. The great thing about this place is that they use fresh fruits and offer fresh cheese foam - don't knock it until you've tried it. We have been to other Moge Tee locations and this place is pretty consistent. We got the DaiHongPao milk tea and the pineapple cheese foam. The tapioca balls are a different color than other places, but they're just as amazing. Both drinks were tasty and well made. Wish they can implement some frequent stamp card or something because we know we will be back often :).

Okay, I am so upset. Boba is life and it was my first time trying Moge Tee after hearing great things and I am very disappointed. I ordered the Taro milk tea. The color was not the usual purple that it is, rather it was an odd shade of brown. I found clumps of what I presume to be the paste/powder that was not properly mixed. It just felt like I was drinking pieces of rice with my bubble tea and it was not appetizing at all. The place itself is nice looking. They cannot really accommodate for sweetness level. They do substitute for almond milk, but not for everything. The price is a bit expensive as well. One thing I would say is that the tapioca actually tastes good, but that's all I got for positives. Overall, not going here again.

They had us wait for 30min. We ordered on the app and we went out for a walk. We came back after 10min when DoorDash says "your order is ready for pick up but it's not.. so we waited for another 20min before getting our order. You probably would get a much better experience if you were to take out. The place is very shabby, the seating areas are surrounded by boxes of inventory, straws and plastic cups. I'd give one star to the ambience, it's the opposite of a cozy place for a friend weekend gathering. Food experience is a function of your choice. 杨枝甘露 (mango drink) is amazing. On the other hand, what ranks top 2 (taro milk) is way overrated. Taste to me like milk and taro pastes are all on the edge of the cup to make the drink look great. Other than that you don't get much of taro in the milk. It feels like someone finishes a nice taro dish, and before you wash the cup, you pull some milk in, and that's your drink.... Need some serious mixing before serving. Not sure whether it's just a bad day for the staff who made this for me, I can't really get much taste outside the milk s/he poured in....

I've ordered Lychee Yoghurt tea with white bubbles - the drink is not very fresh, yogurt or fruit they have used seem to be quite sour and gives a weird rotten smell over a fresh sweet dessert. Plus they have not added bubbles even though I paid for them. I've been to the place 3 times and each time I try giving it "second chance" but unfortunately this was the last. The first time the stuff was extremely rude and I was quite hurt by the way they were shouting at me (I have asked about ingredients of cheese foam tea drink), the second they gave me a wrong order and now this.

This cafe in Newport has a variety of milk teas and other fruit teas and matcha. I got their brown sugar milk tea, which is my usual go to for milk teas. It was good, a little too sweet for me because of the bobas that they cook in brown sugar syrup. The space is nice to work, very quiet, clean and close to the path station.

Definitely the Number One tea shop in Jersey! This is my go-to place when I need a little pick-me up during the day. The quality is always consistent with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked boba. I've also had positive experiences with Ubereats as well, the drinks were well-packed. Love everything with foam cheese!

Went to Moge Tee today and ordered a 7 dollar drink. It took 34 minutes to receive my drink. They had a sign that read wait can be up to 10-20 minutes. After 25 minutes I went up to ask them where my order was, they asked me to wait for a few more minutes. After like another 6 minutes of waiting, they called me and asked for my receipt saying that they lost the orders. The excuse they had was they lost my order. and that they were sorry and sent me on my way. I understand things happen, but just saying you lost the order and said sorry is not an appropriate response after making someone wait 35 minutes for one 7 dollar drink.

I ordered one Taro milk bubble tea and one Milk bubble tea and when I received the order the Taro milk tea had some creamy texture and color looked wrong, so I told the cashier that it looks off from what I wanted and I didn't want cream in it. She mentioned that they only serve the Taro milk tea as milk swirl, but she didn't clarify that before I pay. She didn't describe that their drink is different from normal taro purple milk tea and didn't notify me that it's Milk swirl at all. When I asked for a replacement with just Milk bubble tea for it, she mentioned that I have to order a new one and she can't replace it because it's not their fault. I felt deceived and unpleasant that my money is trashed without proper notice about the item. I wasn't notified that it will be different from normal taro tea, giving me an impression that it's my mistake, I have to suck it up and drink it even though it's not something I was expecting. After that she briefly talked to her manager on the phone and mentioned she can't do anything with the order replacement, she gave me an email address to directly reach out to the manager and I was let out. This action was careless service and made me never want to go back for Moge Tea, I had to leave the place with dissatisfaction. It's misleading, disregarding customers right to know about the product, and avoid their responsibility when I wanted is to get a replacement for Taro milk bubble tea with Milk bubble tea.

Was a little skeptical because of all the reviews about lack of flavor but I was very pleasantly surprised. Maybe it was the drink I ordered? I got the taro milk tea and it was really good. Very fresh ingredients. In fact, there were a ton of taro chunks and mashed up taro in the drink, adding an element of texture and flavor. It wasn't too sweet, nor was it bland. Actually, I may be as bold to say it may be the best tsro milk tea I've had. My only complaint was that it was fairly small for almost $6! Maybe I'm just not used to NJ/NY boba prices yet haha since I just recently moved here. The overall seating area was pretty nice too. Lots of boxes in one corner but didn't bother me much. I did some work at the tables, and while the area was cute, the tables were all pretty rocky and seemed like the legs weren't stable. My biggest concern would be the restrooms, which raised sanitary questions. While they did have signs reminding employees to wash their hands, both the soap dispensers and the bottle of soap they put there were completely empty. I was there for a few hours and no refill. YIKES! Overall, I would give the drinks a 5/5, environment a 3/5 and service a 4/5 (pretty limited interaction).

I love boba so was very happy to see a place near my new apartment. I have been here 3 times since moving and love the teas that I tried. I love the Brown sugar milk tea and that's my usual. They're very quick and organized, so one doesn't need to spend too much time inside the store waiting for their orders.

Overall: Consistent bubble tea experience, and the most authentic one in the Newport station area. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area or living around here. They also have a rotating menu of specials - today's special was a tofu drink. COVID situation: as of November 2020, the store is doing take-out and delivery only. Cashiers are separated behind plexiglass panels, and all seating in the restaurant have been cleared aside to make room for folks waiting for their bobas to-go. Service: fast & efficient. HOWEVER, they did not take cash the last time I checked. They take contactless and card payment. Bubbles: for my bubble tea aficionados, their bubbles are on point. Chewy and slightly sweet - perfect texture for black tapioca pearls! My usuals are: - Hot rose bubble milk tea - the rose flavor comes through beautifully. It's a great winter time milk drink. I usually get mine at 30% sweetness - Earl grey bubble milk tea - another great, aromatic milk tea.

This is the best authentic bubble tea in Jersey City. It is a but pricey but you get what you pay for.

First time ever trying cheese foam tea - it was so delicious. I ordered a medium hot cheese foam Hawaiian tea on a cold and rainy day. The tea felt warm and cozy like a hug in a cup! The service was fast and friendly.

I like the matcha cause you know. Good environment. Nice employees. Overall good place to visit.

I showed the Yelp offer in the store. The guy denied it and said this has to be redeemed through ordering on Yelp. But the coupon instruectes it to be used in the store，then the guy ignored me and pretented to be busy. Hello？？？！！！！ So rude. There are so many nice bubble tea places here，why whould I pay a higher price with an awful attitude for it？

Brown Sugar Milk Tea + Boba was refreshing! Not too sweet and very creamy. During COVID, you can place order on their website prior to picking up at the store or choose delivery from ubereats or panda app. Not too sweet. Great place to fulfill your boba cravings.

SO FRIGGIN GOOD. Both drinks were amazing. The mango tea with cheese foam was to die for and the purple yam was unlike the typical taro milk teas out there. The boba was soft and chewy and they actually used real yam to coat the drink. Not over sweet either, very well done. The workers answered all the questions I had and clarified everything for me :)

Really appreciate you guys stay open during this special time. I stopped by to support this afternoon. The operation seemed smooth and my drink arrived on time. However, I only got like 10 bubbles in my brown sugar milk tea?!?! That's significantly noticeable fewer than usuals.

Rudest staff ever I have ever met at Moge Tea store. I politely asked if they can close the door of the store because it's freezing outside. She replied in an extremely impolite way by rhetorically asking me if I know her staff would not come to work because they were worried about the virus, which was the reason she had to keep the store ventilated by keeping the door open. The stupidest thing is that EVERYONE was wearing a mask. Also, you literally have the right to reject customers without masks. Why would you freeze your customers like a bunch of sirloin steaks? That person is probably the owner/manager as well because I could hear her talking to her staff in a very pushy tone. I am the biggest fan of Moge but I would never ever come back to this store again.

Unique bubble tea options however they can be TOO sweet! The Bobba are a bit hard and sticky so was hard to drink it though the straw. Overall ok drink.

I've tried many bubble tea in US, including Gong Cha and Kongfu Tea but Moge Tee is the best! Their drinks never disappoint me. I have to say the level, especially the cheese foam series, is almost the same as Hey Tea ( Xi Cha) in China--the one always with huge lines of people. The only is that every time I want to try the berry cheese foam tea, it's sold out...

Moge Tee just became my new fav milk tea store. They use fresh fruits as opposed to those cheap powders. We ordered the Pink Peach Cheese & Purple Yam Milk, amazing stuff! We will def come back again.

Extremely rude and snarky cashier (the one wearing a grey hoodie on Oct 23rd around 1245pm). Very rudely snapped at me twice when I couldn't hear hear through the mask/plastic barrier, and then proceeded to roll her eyes right at me. Very unprofessional and the absolute opposite of what customer service should be.

I would give 0 star if possible. It's a very expensive place. Each item costs like 7-8 dollars on average. I still tried to buy with delivery. However they never delivered. And when I asked, the shop simply said "no we came to your building and didn't see you, so we left. It was all your fault. We would never call or read any note you leave with payment to us. We are not required to. And it's all your fault so we won't return your payment. " I have all screenshots to prove that I went down within the delivery window ,paid in advance, left note, filled in correct phone number and email address, and contacted the owner immediately after I didn't see the delivery. I never met such bad shop owner before. I will never buy again.
