"When it’s named after the famed cocktail, there’s a guarantee of a special menu featuring mojitos. Here, guests will find more than a dozen flavor options and sizes, from small to mega and pitcher options. They can also go for the 21-ounce mojito served in a souvenir glass to take home." - Amber Love Bond

We had an amazing experience at Cafe Mojitos! The ambiance was phenomenal, with an upbeat Latin band that really set the perfect mood for the evening. The energy was vibrant and inviting, making it a fun spot for people of all ages. Our waiter, Danellis, was exceptional—attentive, sweet, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's the perfect family-friendly place where you can enjoy great food and lively music. We definitely loved our time here and will absolutely be back! Highly recommend it!

We had the BEST experience at Mojito's Calle Ocho! It was my husband's 40th birthday and we needed a venue (and private or semiprivate space) that would be able to accommodate our guests. Mojito's was it! The Mojito's staff was a delight to work with from my very first email. They were very respectful and responsive. We moved out of state a few years ago, so it is always nerve wrecking coordinating a party venue unseen. However, the management and staff was truly top notch! They were very responsive over email. The day of the event Roberto (the manager) was extremely helpful and flexible. He brought out a ladder to hang our banner, listened to any questions or concerns I had (since I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off) and was helpful and kind while doing it. Our server was BEYOND WORDS AMAZING! Dania R. was VERY SWEET and KIND! She was efficient, attentive and kept me in the loop in regards to my guests needs. Honestly she made my hosting a breeze! Now a days it seems like customer service is a thing of the past, but I can honestly say that the Mojito's management and staff has not lost the essence of what makes a great business work! They hosted our 25 guest event like a breeze, made sure everyone had what they needed and even though we were a big Latino family who went over an hour after closing... they were kind, patient and made sure we enjoyed our time there. The food was GREAT! My one suggestion would be that they add black beans as a side to the event menu. Other than that the menu was delicious, from start to finish. The Mango and Coconut Mojito is a definite try! (You'll thank me later...)Everyone enjoyed their time loved the food and venue. Roberto came out to thank me for hosting our event at Mojito's when it was time for us to leave. He was truly a pleasure to work with. He treated us like family. So much so that our friends thought we knew each other from before! That's a great sign! Definitely consider having your next event here. Ask for Roberto the manager and Dania as your main server! You won't be sorry! It was our first time here but definitely will not be out last. Needless to say we will be recommending Mojito's Calle Ocho to all our friends and family in Miami as well as Ga. Thanks again Mojito's management and staff for helping me make my husband's milestone birthday a success!

Be careful though, they charged us credit card fees unless we pay cash ended up paying $50 more for the bill which is not client friendly 🤔

I had the pleasure of being served by Alex, and I must say the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Alex was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at just the right moments. He was knowledgeable about the menu, gave thoughtful recommendations, and ensured everything was exactly to our liking. His friendly and professional attitude made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency, warmth, and attention to detail the way Alex does. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for Alex again!

Went there for lunch with wifey and it wasn't too packed but filling up as we ate. The restaurant is really nice and spacious yet intimate. The service was really fast and attentive. We ordered the churrasco and fried pork chunks lunch specials. Gotta say the price was amazing and with nice full portion, straight bargain in today's economy. Got the tostones relleno con camorones for appetizer and it was bomb. So damn good! The pork chunk with moros was delicious and tasty. The churrasco was fire, the yuca was perfect texture. Everything was really well seasoned, tasted fresh. If I had one critique and a small one at that maybe the yuca could of been seasoned a little more but really no complaints with the food. I really enjoyed our lunch there. Would love to come back one night for dinner with the band playing. I can just feel the atmosphere there must be amazing, the decor was spectacular.

Yelp
Food is amazing, great service and ambiance Decoration is a plus The music is cool, nice live band

Yelp
Went for an afternoon early dinner good service great drinks and a great location. Very good food. We ordered the platter. The large appetizer platter that brings a variety of Cuban favorites. Rochetta and Tony is some kind of salami or chorizo. And a few more things. Good drinks, good music, nice atmosphere.

Yelp
After I picked up my parents at the airport we decided to eat here for dinner. The food was delicious not to mention the alcohol drink I had was superb. I had a mojito coconut and it was refreshing. I had to get seconds. It was that good. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. My family had a great time.

Yelp
It's not called Mojitos for no reason, you have to orders Mojito whenever you come here. They are delicious! This restaurant serves Cuban cuisine. The vibe is good, quite loud. They play Cuban music and sometimes have a live performer singing, depending on the night. It's not as loud during lunch time compared to dinner. We started off with an order of ham croquettes which were soft and flavorful with each bite. They come with a cilantro dipping sauce. Although, they taste good with out without the cilantro. We also ordered fried yuca fries, which were so good I forgot to take a picture. As an entree I got the chicken breast which is lathered in onions, it packs the chicken with a great amount of flavor. You get 2 sides to chose from with your entree, ranging from French fries to a salad. Everything comes out extremely fast. The churrasco was good but it didn't come out to the temperature my husband asked for. It was still flavorful and in my opinion delicious. Overall, it's a nice place to go on a date or with a big group. Very accommodating and the service is amazing! Everyone is very attentive.

Yelp
Bacardi mojito was good but would have liked sweeter. The chicken soup was different than a Cuban chicken soup but was tasty. The chuleta cerdo ahumada was on point and enough to share. The Fufu could have been improved. Our server was Yoanna M and she was very nice, helpful and attentive. Will return.

Yelp
Great place to have fun and celebrate with family and friends ..!! Good food , excellent ambiance ..!! Will come back again ..!! Always a place to celebrate..!!

Yelp
During a trip to Miami, my cousin and I wanted to get some Cuban food. Since we were staying pretty close to Little Havana, it was easy for us to get to Mojitos. When we arrived, they actually had happy hour going on. We ended up sitting outside on the patio area. I ended up getting a mango mojito and a passionfruit mojito. I strayed from the happy hour menu and ordered a full entree...the ropa vieja. Ropa vieja is shredded beef in a tasty sauce. It came with rice and beans and plantains. Overall, my experience was pretty enjoyable.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Fun place to come on a Saturday and enjoy some good Cuban food, drinks and dancing! Came here to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. The service was quick and very welcoming. Ordering mojitos is a must of course. They are delicious and have a variety of them if you want to try something outside of a traditional mojito. I also ordered a pina colada but honestly it was too sweet for my liking and didn't taste much like alcohol. For appetizer, we ordered the tostones with shrimp which came with four tostones on the plate. It's a perfect appetizer to start your night off. For dinner, I had the ropa vieja with rice and beans. Each entree comes with two sides. The ropa vieja was juicy and tender, so delicious! I have been here one other time before and had also ordered the ropa vieja and couldn't wait to have it again; it did not disappoint. For dessert we had the lava cake with ice cream which was pretty good, nothing extraordinary. On Saturdays at 10pm there's live music! P.S. they are no reservations, it is first come first serve. If you arrive around 8 or later, expect to wait in line for a while because people usually come to eat and wait for the live music to start. It gets a little crowded and they move some tables closer to make space for people to dance. It's a fun time so bring some comfy shoes to dance the night away!

Yelp
Un servicio muy bueno La camarera siempre al tanto de que ordenara las comidas de mejor calidad antes de que cerrara la vocina

Hilda C.

Yelp
Will not be going back. Terrible food, salty and super greasy. Expensive drinks ($22 for a cocktail) and the waiter rushed us the entire time, reminded us that the kitchen would close at 10, even though we ordered by 9 and did not place any additional orders. Many other better establishments in Miami.

Fabienne B.

Yelp
We had an amazing evening in this location. The service was friendly and delicious food.. the bread had way too much garlic but it tastes so fresh. The music / band was entertaining and had a good vibe. Must try: Ask for AVORZA vodka and thank me later !!

Miriam L.

Yelp
Sorry, 1 star. Food was horrible and service nice but slow, thus the 1 star. The place was empty when we went in a week day so no excuses.

Nikhil R.

Yelp
This was insane. I've had good Cuban food. But never THIS good. Every item blew me away and I'd come here again in an instant. We started off with mojitos and mango juice. Mojitos are considered the best in the city! I personally loved the mango juice as it was super thick and tasty. We then had their fried pork chunks with fried plantains happy hour appetizer. This pork was super crispy on the outside, and super tender and fatty on the inside. It was perfectly seasoned just enough for the meat to still remain the star with its fantastic texture. The fried plantain chips were served with a tangy lemon mojo (sauce) to dip them in. We then got some shrimp filled puffs. The shrimp were soft and savory and the puff was super light and airy. The main dish I had was the vaca frita. This shredded beef is served in a beautiful baked plantain atop mashed plantains. I chose sides of mixed black beans and rice as well as caramelized plantains. The meat was incredible. So much flavor infused into tender, shredded meat. The rice and beans were so good themselves - I could eat a bowlful of that alone! And as always, plantains are so good when slightly sweet and caramelized. The final item we had was their dessert - torreja. This is essentially French toast, bread pudding, crème brûlée creation. It's the best dessert item I've ever had in my life. So soft and custardy while crisp on the outside. Served with an incredibly creamy vanilla ice cream. Absolutely stunning and blew me away! Overall Mojitos is an absolutely phenomenal restaurant with excellent dishes and one of the best desserts I've ever had!

Yelp

Cristy B.

Yelp
They charged you a mandatory 15% Service Charge, plus a mandatory 3.75% when using credit card, to all if these unusual and unexpected charges you must add the tip, between 18% and 22%. COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! Me cobraron un Cargo por Servicio obligatorio del 15%, más un 3.75% obligatorio al usar tarjeta de crédito, a todos estos cargos inusuales e inesperados debes sumarle la propina, entre el 18% y el 22%. ¡¡¡ ESTAFA COMPLETA !!!

Yelp
Came here for a special event. I had the vaca frita and a sangria. Both were delicious. Portions are generous. We also shared an appetizer that had yummy croquetas, plantains and fried yuca. To keep me awake on my long drive home I had a cortadito which was made perfectly. The only feedback I have is that when I first arrived I went to the bathroom and I could not wash my hands because the staff were all standing in front of the counters doing each other's makeup.

Luisa V.

Yelp
La música es demasiado alta , comida y bebida aceptable , es un lugar para disfrutar, y pasarla bien , considero deben mejorar en ese aspecto

rick r.

Yelp
Horrible food!! Masas de puerco- Pork chunks were burnt and the black beans tasted old and burnt. The other couple that came with us had the same experience. He had the Shrimp enchiladas and it was cold. His wife also had the pork chunks and they were also burnt That place is dead to me. Never again Waiter was pleasant, but can't emphasize enough how horrible the food was.

BeeDee D.

Yelp
Good latin food good. Friendly staff. Played some good cuban music all night, would come back.

Jorge S.

Yelp
Let's start by saying, I danced the night away. As a dancer I love to go to a place where the DJ plays one hit after the other.... this is the place. And best part is... he takes requests. Awesome time. Food was delicious and drinks were top notch. Service was excellent Leandro was our server and made sure both my friend and I had a terrific experience in a timely manner. I didn't want to leave because that atmosphere and the crowd/costumers are all there for the same reason, great food, great music, strong drinks... great time. I will be visiting more often and bringing everyone I can to enjoy in what Mojito has to offer which is A LOT! Have fun!

Lea M.

Yelp
Yelpers you must be really hungry when you go to this Yummy Cuban restaurant. The proportions are family style and I was totally unprepared for the amount of food received. I definitely suggest you go with friends &/or family as it is perfect for this. I disliked that my dining experience was not the best because of the language Barrier. I speak conversation Spanish but do not read it. So when I spoke to the waitress about the menu's food.. it would have helped if the wait knew a little English. We had to to send food back because it wasn't what we though it was. You are kinda of on your own at this restaurant. We had yucca con mojo w/ black beans and more

Hector R.

Yelp
Mojitos is a Miami staple for good Cuban food and late night live music. Formerly located in dolphin mall now on 8th st. Here's a place were you are treated like family and everyone has a smile on their face. The camarones enchilados ( shrimp with red sauce ) is my favorite Cuban dish ever and here they make it to perfection. Also recommend the bacalao croquetas ( cod fish ). The flan to finish up for dessert and you cannot leave without having a Cuban coffee! Also if you like to dance salsa you can get up and dance with your loved ones there is live music playing all the Cuban classics!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Good food. Great atmosphere. The service could be slightly more attentive. Overall great visit would return

Jordain J.

Yelp
I'm actually a little sad to see that some of the reviews for this place or up and down. I remember when this restaurant was first being built up and I remember the first time that I went to this restaurant almost 4 years ago. The food was perfect, the drinks were very strong and everything else including the atmosphere was very good. Four years later this time around I still enjoyed the time I spent with a few folks that I went with. The food was still season to perfection and the drinks were very strong. I ask for my drink that way and I swear most of it was alcohol but I can't blame them because I'm the one who requested that. The last time I remember coming here the food was divine. Made with love, and order to perfection. My only complaint this time around was that we ordered french fries and I believe they gave us yucca instead by accident. The mistake was cleared up and that was it. Nothing more nothing less. I like those restaurants potential and believe that they can be a staple in the area for Cuban food as many Cuban and Spanish reside in the area. I will be back at least for the drink portion!

Perla P.

Yelp
Best food best drinks best service I wished I could live in Miami I would always eat here Food is extraordinary

Cristina M.

Yelp
Fun place ! They have a nice outdoor area but we sat inside. We arrived at 4pm which was perfect because that's when happy hour started! We ordered several appetizers which were all delicious. Service was great ! DJ played music and they have a nice dance floor area !

Juan C.

Yelp
Muy buena atención y servicio. Jonal Suárez muchas gracias por la amabilidad y la buena atención.

Yelp
The place is clean, nice not overly loud music, nice outside seating area, clean bathrooms. Asked for a Diet Coke it was brought to me however it looked super pale, tasted it and it was flat and didn't have syrup hence the color, I asked for a canned one and they didn't have Diet Coke in a can or bottle so I drank water. Ordered fried Yuca with cilantro garlic sauce, it was delicious however I tried looking for my waiter so I can order more of the dipping sauce and couldn't find him. Although I ran out of the sauce I ate the rest of the fried yuca. I also ordered the fried fish filet with steamed vegetables and salad, the salad was romaine lettuce tomato and onion, which looked as if was precut, plated and refrigerated for a while, the onion started to lose its color and the tomato was soggy. The fish breading looked puffy and extremely thick, the breading didn't have any taste other then old oil taste from the fried, the fish was bland and smelled bad, I literally took a bite and pushed it to the side then ate the vegetables which to my surprise were very well cooked and not over steamed. Once again I attempted to find my waiter to tell him I didn't like the fish but couldn't find him. A busser came along and took the fish plate and didn't ask anything and I wish he would have however it isn't his fault he saw the plate on the side of the table and just took it because it's his job. I just wish he had a bit of common sense to see a while uneaten fish and wonder what happened or tell someone that cares. Service was fast as it should be for lunch however the food not so great. Thank you for looking.

Maria Elena C.

Yelp
Food is ok large portions but with such competitive market they could do much better Service is good for a busy place Ambiance if you like dancing and loud music this is your place

Joella N.

Yelp
DO NOT EAT HERE! My drink had three bugs floating in it. The waiter had the nerve to ask me to settle the check before leaving. I don't think so. Thankfulky, the manager had enough sense to take care of it. If this was the surprise in my beverage, I'd hate to find out what would appear in my entree.

Bleidy G.

Yelp
Is very nice!! at 10:00 PM Mojitos turns into a Cuban Cabaret with dozens on the dance floor showing off their best salsa moves.

Emely R.

Yelp
This place on Friday-Saturday is amazing they have a live band playing! Prices are good and they have happy hour Sunday - Friday 6PM to 8PM. Great for family and friends great Miami vibe (: Definitely a tourist spot to see what Miami is all about. So don't be afraid to check it out!

Vivian C.

Yelp
If I could give it a negative number I would. We went on mother's day. Huge mistake. My mom ordered a parco frito. The oil was dirty and burned. They told her that she would have to eat the fish that way because they could not change the oil. So she refused but they charged for the rice and the sides that she did not eat. Three meals and the three were horrible. The steak was horrible and all the sides were disgusting. If they couldn't serve good meals they should have closed the doors. My family and I will never go back again. It's a shame, we used to love this restaurant.

Roxana M.

Yelp
D j sucks. Same regetton music no one is dancing. Food is great. Drinks are good. Service is good.

Marietsy P.

Yelp
Random shopping center but great food, dancing and atmosphere. The most active days when there's a party atmosphere is on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking can be hard to find so you know that a good sign especially when all the other stores in the shopping center are closed. The noise level is high so even outside in the patio area you have have a hard time hearing each other. The happy hour specials were nice there were chicken chunks/tenders, breaded cups with the option for chicken, shrimp, and beef. They have a dessert called torrejas and it was my first time trying and was delicious. I have been attempting to recreate that dessert at my house which is how good it is. It looks like a French toast and may eve remind you of one but it's a Hispanic dessert with a thicker syrup that makes it taste more like a dessert than a breakfast food. Overall the happy Hour prices were worth it.

Russell C.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere with good food and drinks. Recently came with family on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was basically empty so we were glad since it wouldn't be a wait. Service was friendly and the food was great.

Eduardo G.

Yelp
If you want True Authentic Cuban food this is the place. Everything is Tasty and there are too many to write about. And the entertainment on Thursdays and the weekend is lots of fun with live Cuban music. Definitely will be back.

Lynn K.

Yelp
Been here for 45 minutes. Drinks have been empty for 25 minutes. Waiter has disappeared. Service horrible Sides great Chicken and shrimp overcooked (sitting under heat lamp?) App were great. Very prompt. Again service horrible. Had to ask many time for water refill. Place has a great atmosphere , which makes it tough to leave bad review. Had I received a couple more drinks it would be a non issue Desert looked good, but there was no way I was going to wait any longer.

Amalia S.

Yelp
Went with my family, a party of 15. The extremely rude and unprofessional server was trying to charge us 4 extra drinks per bill! We had 3 bills. When we complained about it she got the manager involved to try to fix the situation which took them a whole HOUR! The manager, another unprofessional person with speech problems and a lack of hospitality knowledge didn't believe us and had the audacity to reply to one of our reviews saying "that's what happens when you have mojitos, you forget how many you had".We had max 2 drinks each, most of us, including myself only had one of them overpriced simple ass "mojitos". This place is extremely overrated. My experience was as mediocre as it could get. The food was alright. The tostones rellenos con ceviche didn't have ceviche, only a shrimp. Also we order camarones Al ajillo on top of mahi and the camrones were pale, I guess they forgot the AJILLO part, an insult to the Cuban cuisine . We told the server and she said "that's what you ordered", I asked her for extra ajillo on the side then, and she brought mojo! The music was alright, really laud but I guess that's what people go for there for. I would not recommend this place, matter of fact I'll talk $hit about it with everybody.

Eli P.

Yelp
BEWARE: they charge a cover to listen to the music AND the bill includes an additional "service charge" for..... NO IDEA because the check clearly states TIP NOT INCLUDED. They charge excessively and they do not tell you ... until you get the bill. Great food can be found elsewhere without the hefty surcharges.

Gerardo D.

Yelp
excelente servicio por parte del mesero Lázaro y buena comida... graciasss

Wesley G.

Yelp
I must of received the best choice of food because their ratings isn't so high. I honestly think it was good and I would go back. The service was a little slow but overall I had a pleasant experience.

Robert N.

Yelp
Short and simple..very good food and Mojitos. No issues with service. Will come back next time in Miami.

Norve G.

Yelp
All in all this place is amazing the food is spot on and the drinks are also amazing my wife and I both had piña colada they were both good portions with great amount of alcohol in it which is a good thing compared to other restaurants who barely put alcohol on there drinks. Also the leaching asado was extremely delicious and mouth watering I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back again

Mika D.

Yelp
I was craving arroz con pollo which seemed to be very difficult to find in Miami. We decided to try our luck here since google said they served it. Nope google lied! We ended up settling for the Pechu Pollo Ca Aji instead. I wasn't fond of it, the chicken was a little dry. I ended up eating some of my bff shrimp instead. Now that sh#t was good. The shrimp had so much flavor, that we ended up going back the next day and we both ordered it. Our waiter was really nice, and a bit flirty, but his accent was everything (drool) lol. I forgot his name, but I can sure tell you what he sounds and looks like!

Hortensia E C.

Yelp
The worst customer service. The manager doesn't treat the customers in a professional , decent, and respectful way. I felt very disappointed last time I visited this place with my family, so I have decided to go to other Restaurant where I am treated with respect.

Ludwig F.

Yelp
The mojito is amazing. Had only two and got a great buzz. Food was good and plentiful. Ask for Maite, she definitely knows how to prepare a drink

Anamaria N.

Yelp
Never met A more rude waiter and a worst owner Alex, you don't ask ladies to give up their seats when there's nobody waiting. The chair was literally taken from under me. Even though I wasn't finished eating. We were consuming and spending. Will never go back.

t c.

Yelp
Outside of the amateur that answered the phone and the cartoon like hair some of these younger new to the industry guys are sporting...the food and ambiance are great. Weekend nights are a bit too much unless you are getting in those last drinks on way home and nothing matters. But it is a bit loud and not the Miami vibe of the old Mojitos at Dolphin etc. it wouldn't hurt to have a Latin jazz or old 40s, 50s music happy hour or evening. Theme drink specials to match the occasion. Food is great and authentic. The older guy who seems to be a manager is very professional. Has been there a while.
