8/20/2025 Before going to a new place, I always call to make sure smoking is allowed. They told me This place allowed smoking, so I smoked on the patio , There were Americans and other smokers there, so I started going there almost every day. The female staff are very friendly and polite, so I always tip them. I'll tell you about a first incident that happened today. A customer who didn't like smoking complained to a staff member. A male staff member told me that some other customers didn't like smoking. I explained to the male staff member that I made a phone call to check smoking was allowed at first place before I even come here and since then I come here almost every day. I said Ive seen other customers smoking, too. And I always follow local and people vibe to learn new things . I explained that I like to smoke in the shade, sitting at a table and drinking coffee, but the white long hair male staff member insulted me, saying things like, "Can't you smoke while standing?" and "Do your legs shake?" Was it necessary to say this to me? It’s unprofessional. Anyways I asked what I should do next, and the male staff member told me that he would discuss it with the staff and make a decision, but that smoking would be allowed until the no-smoking sign was re-upped. Before I left, I checked with the female staff member again, and she told me that employees they don’t know or they are confused and smoking was allowed until the no-smoking sign was re-upped. I didn’t mean to make others makes uncomfortable. I always sit on the corner even it’s okay to smoke … No one’s wrong in this situation. It’s just a misunderstanding… And I’ll have to find out in future soon if it’s okay to smoke or not …they will put out signs of not allowed smoking.. If not allowed to smoke then I won’t go back but I like this place so much. Buy it is what is . 8/ 6 /2025 I came here for first time and there’s nice employee . I was looking for my everyday go to coffee shops and I found it . I just like this place it’s relaxing and I like natures mixed up . There’s groups of people who plays board games and there’s others who are working phone call and there’s people who watch videos and there’s people quit many people here and I will come back again .

I was in town for Art-A-Whirl last weekend and was heading to the California Building so it was super convenient there was a cafe connected to it. I grabbed a Big Fat Burrito for a late breakfast and it filled a void in my hungry stomach. They could’ve maybe crisped up the tortilla a little longer on the flat top but it otherwise tasted pretty good. It sort of reminded me of a tex mex burrito with the rice and beans plus it was enough food to keep me going for a while. Pretty unique crowd with some live music going at the time, and I was really digging the overall design of the space as well. It had a vintage feel with the style of certain furniture but rustic at the same time with the wood features. Not a bad little spot.

Another weekend, another local coffee shop to try! Mojo Coffee Gallery was today's pick. I am obsessed with the aesthetic of the place, from the brick and ivy outside, to the ecletic decor and furniture inside. Oh yeah, and the coffee is good too. Staff was nice and welcoming, this place is popular with locals and dog friendly. Lots of leashed pups coming in with their owners to get coffee to go. I feel like maybe they host live music on occasion? We want to come back when the weather is warm and sit outside on the patio.

Mojo coffee gallery was such a fun experience! There is purchasable pottery, artwork and misc stuff all over. The human at the front was super kind, chatty and full of smiles! It looked like they very much enjoyed their job, and it showed. The coffee options were ample as were alternative milk options. There were indoor and outdoor seating and it was a cozy place! The air was intermittently felt although it was hot as heck and appreciated!

Loved the quirky coffee shop aesthetic here. The maximalism makes it cozy and perfect to work on a laptop or meet friends. It also seems like a great venue for live music they have sometimes. The coffee menu was basic and I didn’t notice any house specials, but their espresso was good. There’s a big parking lot for easy parking.

I came here multiple times a week during medical school and it was the BEST place to study. Warm atmosphere and very cozy feeling. Great drinks and white bean soup. Feels like a home away from home.

Great spot for yummy food and great coffee! Got the Spanish Hash which was so yummy! And the Blackberry White Mocha was delicious! Loved the ambience too and fun perusing all the pottery. Tons of seating! Would definitely come back!

This is a coffee shop you’d wish you had in every neighborhood. The combo of coffee and art always works and they executed it so well. They have over a hundred art pieces (many ceramic cups) displayed throughout the shop for viewing or immediate purchase. Inside, there are different seating options for working , chatting, and collaborating. Hourly bells from nearby church adds to its vibe. This has been added to my go-to cafe list.

Yelp
Very cute coffee shop with tasty food, bottomless coffee for $4 and art for sale: they have a decent sized patio I look forward to using in the summer. They also have live music at times- nice background music instead of loud and overpowering, Breakfast was delicious. They have a selection of board games to use and a large parking lot.

Yelp
Love the space and vibe. This would be a great place to read, telework, or hangout for a bit. Unfortunately the food and drinks that I tried were not good, and I wasn't able to finish them. The tempeh bahn mi had no flavor and was just a wrap with what seemed to be steamed unseasoned tempeh. The ice tea I got was also flavorless. Maybe the breakfast foods are better, but I'm not sure I would come back since there are other coffee shops that I could go to instead.

Jill P.

Yelp
Súper great coffee and eats. Vibe was fun and welcoming. There wasn't music while I was there, but definitely will go back for that. Could've stayed all day!

Yelp
Great food and coffee. Enjoyed the ambiance, service and a great small patio area for our dog to enjoy with us!

Yelp
Cozy, eclectic and welcoming atmosphere paired with delicious food and drink offerings make Mojo one of my top coffee shops in the twin cities. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food was a flop 1 out of 10 potatoes raw an tasted awful like they were left out wet overnight for 3 weeks and the rosemary is the only seasoning they use eggs were under cooked , cashier was kind tho

Yelp
Stopped here this summer for a work meeting indoors, this place was never on my radar and I had no idea it existed - it was busy! Very unique space with art everywhere and plenty of parking. Very cool. Food looked good and was quite popular. We had hot drinks and were able to find a large table in the front to gab at. Fairly cluttered and can be loud but a very nice option in the area if you're wanting so support a local cafe

Yelp
Obsessed. Such a funky place with amazing art and even live music on the weekends. So many unique things about this place, such as the walls lined with beautiful pottery and the hand drawn table cards. They have lemonade on top of their coffee, which is nice for a warm day. The lavender honey latte was amazing. Lots of seating, but not many outlets. They do have a patio! So cute. I'll definitely be back this summer!

Yelp
When my bf lived in NE we would walk here all the time with our dog. The vibes are great, so warm and cozy. I love that almost all of the artwork displayed is for sale! The food is also delicious! We shared the large breakfast burrito and one half was enough for each of us! Dogs are welcome inside and outside on the patio. I love brining my dog with me to get her socialized and provide extra training in public spaces, this cafe is perfect for that. The owner (or who I assume is the owner) is very friendly and loves dogs. He has one of his own and he stopped to chat with my bf and I about our dog one day. He even gave us a little vintage kid's dog book; super cute! (And of course, lots of treats for our pup). Highly recommend! I'm sad I don't live as close anymore but at least I know there's always a place I can go in the winter with my pup!

Yelp
Adorable adorable spot. Are you looking for somewhere cozy to spend a rainy or chilly day?? LOOK NO FURTHER! Mojo is one of the coziest coffee shops I've been to in the twin cities. The vibes are fantastic, and the art inside the store is so fun to look at. There are plenty of tables and seats, and I think it would be an excellent place to work. It's not too loud, lots of room to work, and great food/coffee. I ordered their hot chai latte and their breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was INSANE!!! So freaking good. And the chai was equally good, but so hot when I got it LOL. I had to wait a longggg time before it cooled down to a temp that wouldn't singe my insides. But hey, I'd rather have it too hot than cold. And once it cooled down, it was perfect. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Wow! One thing that everyone needs in a city is a favorite coffee shop...for those in MSP-- this should be your place! While let me see that it is in the middle of nowhere , Miguel is a fantastic place for coffee lovers an artist artist alike. They have an extensive menu and their seasonal drinks are great... I got an apple pie chai with a shot of espresso and it was a 10/10. The inside vibe is awesome as the owner purchases art from local artist and there is a great collection that you can enjoy while waiting for your coffee or sitting at one of the many seats . This seems like a great place to study, as there is Wi-Fi and plenty of seats with outlets. Special shout out to the barista "V" - he had great recommendations, and was able to adjust the drink, exactly to my liking without even having to remake any drink!

Yelp
Super cool shop. Dim, decorated, and relaxing. Art work for sale on the wall. Quick service. Cold brew was good. Not too light, not too dark. Patio has beautiful landscaping. We enjoyed our time here!

Yelp
Such a cute coffeeshop tucked away in the middle of nowhere in the city. It's a very cool vibe with so much art - paintings and photos, but also sculptures, mugs, teapots, cups... On this Sunday I'm visiting, there's live music. It's a bit crowded, but it makes for a decent amount of seating. They have more food options than I would have thought, and it's tasty! Got a breakfast sandwich with rosemary potatoes, really good. Service is good too! They were patient while I waffled on the hat to get.

Yelp
The chai there is different than most places - not as milk heavy and has thus interesting fruity undertone that almost reminds me of apple cider. Pretty good but definitely not what I was expecting. The next time I got the toffee latte and that was decent, nothing exceptional about it though. The food, though, is incredible and that's why I give this place five stars. I got the white bean chicken chili and it was delicious and at an amazing price point ($6.75 a bowl) for something that filled me up enough as a lunch. My friend got their Spanish hash and it was so flavorful and delicious. I think about going back for their food multiple times this past week. Also, great vibes. There is pottery everywhere and that's pretty incredible. Very comfy attitude about the place, and there was a good mix of people doing work and hanging out and having conversation. Maybe on the loud side for a work meeting but bit overwhelming level of background noise. Will say had a bit of trouble finding outlets for tables in the middle, and the chairs are definitely on the older side but overall not a bad place to get work done. Always appreciate a parking lot as well

Yelp
I opted to try this place out in efforts to continue my coffee tour of the cities. I ordered a Miel and a breakfast sandwich. I must have still been groggy and not clear because the sandwich was brought out on a plate. I must have missed the dine in part as I was not asked and just assumed it was automatically going to be to go. After my bit of surprise I settled and took the time to take in this place. The shop is filled with art from artists of a multitude of styles. The food was tasty and I was self very happy and content. Sitting alone there was so much to look at while you dined. Normally I don't seek out places like this, but it was fun to experience.

Yelp
Mojo is one of the most fun and eclectic coffee shops in the cities!! Variety of people and good drinks - just wish the food was of a bit higher quality. Great spot for a remote work day

Kennedy L.

Yelp
Friendly baristas, good coffee, beautiful space! The food is not my favorite. Not bad per se, but very underseasoned. It's a lovely shop though!

Brad L.

Yelp
First and foremost, the espresso is excellent. Food is good and priced well. Tons of cool art for sale. Friendly folks.

Yelp
I didn't get any food just a nitro cold brew however it was perfectly brewed and wasn't bitter at all. Staff was very efficient and the interior was super cute and cozy i'll definitely be back to grab a bite!

Yelp
We went on a Saturday, definitely looks like a good study spot. It was very quiet and everyone was working. They have a lot of interesting random things as decor so it is fun to look around. We went and sat on the outdoor patio area so we could talk without bothering people. Cute little shaded patio area with some nice flowers. I got the lavender coffee and it was good, nothing special though.
google avatar

Shari D.

Yelp
The vibe was so fun! A hidden gem of a coffee shop. We ended up here because the Buttered Tin was closed on Monday, for the holiday. I see that they have live music on the weekends and will have to come back. The coffee was great but I do have to say that my huevos rancheros were a little bit of a disappointment. 2 corn tortillas with beans, cheese and eggs on top. I guess I expected more of a mixed dish. My friend had the breakfast bowl and liked it.
google avatar

Temi A.

Yelp
The last two words "Coffee gallery" perfectly describes the coffee shop! It's cool seeing the different kinds of art work, also two huge plusses are there's plenty of tables and there's a parking lot!! For the amount of people that were there it wasn't super loud either! Will for sure be coming back again!

Jasmin D.

Yelp
I enjoyed grabbing coffee and a breakfast sandwich here multiple occasions. Really nice atmosphere, decent pricing. I'd recommend. Only improvement id suggest is when asking for extra flavoring it didn't seem like much more added.

James M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. The outdoor patio is super nice. The flowers and stuff is very beautiful. Inside has lots of cool decorations. 10/10 vibe Person who took my order was kind. Got the coffee and food pretty quick. 10/10 Cinnamon bun iced latte very nice. Not too sweet. Nice cinnamon flavor. 8.5/10 Sausage breakfast bowl also very good. Loved the sausage and how everything tasted with the greens. Toast solid as well. 8/10 They also have a ice water dispenser that tastes good.

Yelp
This is the cutest, quaint place. I loved all the artwork/pottery everywhere. It's a pretty big place with big tables, great for doing some work. I got iced chai latte and some pastries and they were all pretty good. While there, one of the owners(I think?) just brought out some cinnamon cake and gave it to us out of the blue which was pretty nice.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee shops in the city! Great atmosphere and yummy drinks! I really love their chai:)

Yelp
Great place to chill, look at the vintage stuffs and enjoy one of the best coffee in town!

Yelp
This might be my new favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities? What a cool place! Mojo Coffee Gallery is in an old brick building that also houses artists studios. Along all the walls are a wide range of goodies for sale from pottery to vintage masks to watercolors of pugs. And the prices were all super fair! Coffee with shopping?! Don't tempt me with a good time. I could have looked around here forever. The décor is chaotic and wonderful with vintage instruments hanging from the ceiling. The vibe was just so unique and cool. I wouldn't even care if the drinks were bad, but alas, my iced chai was delicious. They also have a nice front porch area to enjoy the beautiful weather. I can't believe I had never been here but now that I know this secret, I will be coming back time and time again!
google avatar

Aurah Gqunefere W.

Yelp
Had kombucha and came here on a date. They had live music, which was good, but WAY too loud for a coffee shop, I couldn't focus or hear the person I was there with talk. Kombucha was good, but REALLY expensive, $7 for a cup. The place was cute overall but I probably won't come back.
google avatar

Sheena May M.

Yelp
Cute and cozy, tucked away. Lots to see (every surface has something and it's all for sale) and taste. My son and I spent a few early morning hours here recently. The music was perfect; mix and volume. Customers came and went, mostly to-go orders but a few stayed and enjoyed the warm, inviting atmosphere. Our drinks were on point; taste and presentation. We didn't get anything crazy, just a hot chocolate and a dirty chai latte. Since we were staying for a bit, they were made in the cutest ceramic mugs that fit perfectly in your hands, keeping them nice and warm. We didn't try any food, but they had what seemed like a really good selection. We will be back for sure!
google avatar

Yelp
Have always loved the mojo Coffee Gallery! Super beautiful place always has local artists and many pieces of art and pottery you can buy. I highly recommend the maple latte super good! The baristas are always super kind and have great suggestions! I also recommend the Arnold Palmer if you aren't a coffee drinker. If you haven't visited this artsy local coffee gallery it is a must-go!
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee shops to study at-- their outdoor space is beautiful, with plenty of outlets and pretty good Wi-Fi. If it's beautiful out but you have to write a paper/read/do your taxes, this place is perfect. Their coffee/drink menu is pretty reasonable, bathrooms were fairly clean. Plenty of parking in a lot adjoining the shop, as well as plenty of street parking. Plus: if you need a break, explore the connected gallery!
google avatar

Sarah N.

Yelp
What a fantastic spot! I happened to visit when they had performers on a Saturday afternoon and it had the most wonderful vibes. Eclectic music to fit the dynamic pottery decor. With performers that give you classic Dylan vibes, coffee with strong flavors you will be nothing but pleased. Tons of food options that should fit most needs and pleas various pallets. Very important they have lots of parking to make visiting this spot easy and a joy.
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
Love this place! A variety of indoor and outdoor seating with live music. Service was quick and great. I had a hard time choosing what to eat because there were so many options and ended up with the veggie frittata and an iced coffee. Can't wait to go back and try more things!
google avatar

Dobi M.

Yelp
Stopped in for coffee and scrambled eggs. Sat both inside (such a cool gallery with so much to look at but spacious so it doesn't feel overwhelming) and I sat outside on the deck. Wonderful space and good hot coffee. Will return.
google avatar

Maddie A.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the twin cities! It is all because of the ambience. Lots of seating including indoor and outdoor--an adorable porch, and in summer they often leave the door open for a breeze which I love! Their coffee is good and they have decaf too. They have live music sometimes and the walls are covered with pottery and art. It's just a great vibe--so if comfortable, breezy, and quirky is what you're looking for, go to Mojo!
google avatar

Pat B.

Yelp
Very good coffee and nice brunch options. We stopped in on Saturday afternoon and they had some live music. A little congested with seating, but definitely worth the stop.

Yelp
This coffee shop is one of my favorites in northeast Minneapolis. The food , service and atmosphere are all great. The vibe is really cool with all of the artwork and pottery.

Yelp
The nicest (so far) bike-to coffee shop in NE. We enjoyed our breakfasts and coffee out on the balcony area. Great place to bike to-great vibe and atmosphere.

Yelp
Good God, I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet! I've been here so many times and it's often a coffee house I look forward to bringing my more art loving, good coffee drinking friends. I love this place. For multiple reasons! I honestly have not had a single bad coffee concoction here yet (well, except the one time the barista accidentally grabbed the raspberry syrup instead of lavender for my latte but she quickly remade it. I LOVE raspberries but there is just something repulsive to my tastebuds about raspberry flavors in coffee for me). The walls are filled with local artist pottery pieces (and you can even purchase them!) and art. They have a low key, relaxing, hodge podgey artsy feel inside with all their mismatched tables and sodden floors. Maybe it's the crunchy granola modern hippie side of me that this place appeals to me. It's relaxing as all get out for me to sit and sip my coffee in. They also have a decent outdoor patio surrounded by vining plants and usually 2-3 dog dishes out there of you decide to bring your pooch. I love dog friendly establishments. It just shows they ya e a bigger heart for all walks of life to me. I never seem to actually get any amount of work done there so I can't vouch for WiFi but I my eye often catches a few people plugging away on their laptops when I go. Me? Gack- I'm there to unwind and just BE when I go. That and snap a handful of photos on the patio because the lighting and atmosphere is just perfect.

Yelp
i feel inspired in there. coffee is decent, the space is awesome. huge parking lot. also they have a breakfast hash that's a must

Yelp
This is one of my fave MPLS cafes, echo-ing most other reviewers who seemingly have good taste. At Mojo Coffee Gallery you will find: great food and drinks, excellent service, live art installations, a music venue, and art gallery. Plus there's free wifi and a variety of seating inside and on their patio, so no need to go home like, ever. I can't vouch that all of their food/bev options are a hit, but I just enjoyed a breakfast of Ecuadorian Humitas + scrambled eggs + fresh fruit = $6.50. The Humita was sweet from the corn with some savory cheese in it. And the scrambled eggs were perfectly seasoned and not overcooked, which I wildly appreciate. One of the employees was so pleased I liked it so much, which was pretty adorable. Their food menu is robust for a little cafe, features seasonal options, is affordable, and they also have a case of prepared foods to go. Their caffeinated options are solid, and I also appreciate their variety of flavor shots, and that they don't skimp on them (cold brew + lavender ftw!). I've been here to work alone, conduct meetings, binge some breakfast, munch some lunch, observe art being created live, and I just need to come for a local show!

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop in the Minneapolis! It is cozy and spacious. Comfy chairs and quiet relaxing music. They have local artwork on display, fast internet, good food. I just love this place. Great patio seating - you can bring your dog. I get a lot of writing done here. Food: they always have grab and go options as well as their chili served all day. Their lunch menu ends at around 3pm I believe. The veggie burger and Cuban are my favorite. I also LOVE the chumales!!
google avatar

Nadine M.

Yelp
When ever I come back to town and stay at my sisters, this is the place I go to. The coffee is always good and hot! Cute area. Lots of seating inside and out. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Nate M.

Yelp
Living in NE this is our go to coffee shop. I hesitate to write this review since it can already be hard to find a seat at times. I like my coffee black for the most part, but my girlfriend really likes their Mocha and a number of other things she's tried. I haven't tried any of the food, but everything I have seen others eating looks delicious. The primary reason I frequent Mojo is for a great atmosphere to work from. They have a art filled relaxing atmosphere that is quiet enough to get work done alone, but is also great for meetings. I haven't been, but they also have live music on the weekends.
google avatar

Jenna M.

Yelp
Really loved this place. Free parking, lots of space, cool atmosphere/aesthetic, and great food/coffee! Definitely going to be returning. The staff was super friendly and customer-centered!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem of a place when I was in Northeast Art district for the yearly "Art-A-Whirl" and visiting artist studios...WOW...what a gem of a coffee shop! Very unique and beautiful coffee shop ...wonderful atmosphere! It has a very open feel with very high ceilings and lots of lights from the many windows. GOOD coffee too...I've just eaten lunch so I didn't have any room in my stomach to eat anything...but their bakery items and foods look delish! Can't wait to come back!
