Cape Town Travel Guide - Vacation & Tourism

"Open seven days a week, Mojo Market is Sea Point's trendy indoor market where diners can find more than 15 local food stalls and "traders." Choose from fresh mussels, artisanal pizza, build-your-own burritos, sushi, and even Cape Town's only macaroni and cheese joint. While there's live music every night and plenty of TVs, the best entertainment here is people watching." - Katie Jackson Katie Jackson Katie Jackson is a New York City-based writer who covers travel, food, and more. Mojo Market - Review - Sea Point - Cape Town - The Infatuation

"If you aren’t in town for a weekend market, are looking for a quick bite, or have a big group that doesn’t want to sit around a table talking to each other anymore, Mojo Market in Seapoint is a great dinner spot. There are over a dozen food stalls, live music every night, ocean views, and a huge seating area with crowds of people drinking Drifter beer and G&Ts. Our favorite stall here is Merle’s, a family-run place that will show you how a chicken schnitzel should be made. For the greatest possible commute there, head to Camps Bay about 40-50 minutes prior and walk (or if you’re ambitious, run) to Sea Point along Victoria Road for stunning cliffside views." - Dana Alloy

If you’re looking for a good night out in Cape Town with a large variety of drink and food choices then look no further than Mojo Market in Seapoint. A great venue full of different food and drinks bars and offering entertainment each night. We went on comedy night which, from an Englishman’s point of view, was interesting shall we say. 🤩 All in all a good fun night and worth a visit.

If you can handle loud, frenetic and crowded, then the Mojo Market is your kind of evening establishment. Offering a number of food and drink options, it is a perfect place for groups that cannot agree on what to eat. Additionally, entertainment is plentiful: live music, plentiful opportunities to people watch, caricaturists plying their trade, etc. Lots of fun to had, but you need to be in the right mood.

Good vibe and decent pricing, I only got to try one thing to eat and it was amazing, so I can't speak for every stall. spent a good few hours there waiting out the weather. Everyone seems friendly enough, and was lots of space. It's also a good place to sit and watch tourists. Loud Americans are the most entertaining lol, locals are so chill and don't take anything seriously.

Upscale food court where you can find dozens of choices and many different cuisines, including a number of bars. The night we were there they had karaoke night, which was a lot of fun. Fun place in Cedartown area of Cape Town.

15/10 experience!!! 🎤 WHO IS THIS FOR? Perfect for those looking for a lively night out, food lovers eager to try various stalls, and anyone wanting to experience an electric karaoke atmosphere in Cape Town. 🔍 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER: 1️⃣ Karaoke Night Energy: Monday nights are a must-visit! The crowd is super supportive, and people of all ages take the stage. 2️⃣ Food & Seating: Tons of food stalls with quick service, plus plenty of seating—though it can get loud, especially near the stage. 3️⃣ Parking & Pricing: Street parking can feel a bit sketchy, and food prices are on the higher side. 🍽️ PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: The vibe was absolutely wild! Seeing people from all walks of life get on stage and receive full crowd support was unforgettable. The food selection was impressive, and seating was ample, whether near the action or upstairs for a more private chat (though still loud). Later in the evening, the big fans helped with the heat but made conversations even tougher. ✅ FINAL NOTES: ✔️ A must-visit for karaoke lovers and social outings. ✔️ Food is pricey, but the variety and quality make up for it. ✔️ Be mindful of parking and the overall noise level. 👉 Found this review helpful? Went to mogo market and was pleasantly surprised. This large space which I'm sure can become crowded during the summer months has multiple restaurants serving pizza seafood tacos burgers. There are also several bars. I ate at the mussel monhger and a Burger place. The mussel place was fantastic. The burger so so. I was there on Tuesday and the free Jazz was flowing and sounded so good. Pay this place a visit if you get to capetown
