Absolutely obsessed with this quirky little pizza place!!! The menu is amazing with so many fun flavor combinations, but don’t worry, their classic pies are also delicious. The owners are truly incredible humans & members of the community… And did I mention they have Chess Night On the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month…

I've been here twice now, once with my fiancé and his sister, and again with a big group of friends and both visits were great! Even with the large group, the food came out quickly. The guy at the front is always super friendly! It was also cool to play a bit of chess while we waited. Definitely planning to come back again!

Google
Location is great. Atmosphere is great. The pies are not unfortunately. 6.8. It could get into the 7’s but right now it’s just too much dough, to much sauce and too much cheese. It’s a heavy pie. The flavor isn’t bad but it’s just too much of everything. The crust needs more char. There’s just no crunch. Which I assume is by design and some people like softer floppier pie. The closest thing I can compare it to is Mellow Mushroom.

We walked over from another establishment ( Paolino's) after having sub par service and still being hungry despite spending a good bit of money on a meal. I wish we had went to Mojo's before that happened, but finding this gem afterwards was perfect too as everyone was still hungry! The service at Mojo's was amazing and the food was perfect! Our crew enjoyed chess while they waited for the food to cook, and everything came out speedy! We ordered mozzarella sticks and an 18" pizza along with sweet teas and waters. The tea was perfectly sweet ♥️. We will definitely be back next time we are in ATL! 1

Google
Mojos you guys need to promote Lenwood! He is literally the reason why I’m coming back. His spirit, personality and service was absolutely ah-mazing!! At first my girlfriends and I weren’t going to eat anything just get drinks. Lenwood’s vibe was so amazing we ended up getting a table outside and eating some pizzas and ordering drinks. He told us about Chess night they host there for families and we just thought that was so sweet they do that for the community. If you guys are looking for good eats and great service hit my guy Lenwood up at Mojos you won’t be disappointed. ✨💪🏾

We have passed by this place numerous times so this evening me and hubby decided to stop in and try it out. Very friendly and welcoming staff! We ordered the Hurricane pizza (highly recommend) and it was super delicious. Since we used to own a pizza franchise, we know pizza and this is good stuff! Looking forward to going back and sitting outside.

Google
Quaint little pizza bar in a small village in Atlanta between Decatur and Kirkwood. The pizza was NY style and well made, tasted good, not out of this world. The service wasn't the best but suspect that's an aspect of a family run business in a small town, that many people don't mind. Maybe if you live here and get to know the people over time it would be more friendly but I wouldn't return as 'an outsider'.

Google
Loved this cute little local spot a short walk away from our Airbnb!! Delicious pizza and nice friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention the fantastic pumpkin brew on tap. Will be back!

Yelp
My first time today and it was great! I loved the ambiance, service, and the wait was a while but it makes sense cause pizza and it was worth the wait regardless. I definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Came here to visit a friend and found this place to be local spot and was built in 1928. I really like supporting not just small businesses but also businesses like this. The location is situated on a corner of a very popular quaint area. Plenty of outdoor seating and generally first impression is that it's extremely busy! The workers are not only taking orders, serving alcohol, managing online pickups etc...that the quality of service is a bit down. I had ordered the Mardi Gras pizza by looking at the wall menu that Indicated shrimp. Was disappointed that it was on it. They are so busy they forget to inform me that the menu is outdated. Not their fault at all but would've needed to know that as I made my decision because of the shrimp. Then I was looking at the printed menus, it's poorly executed, I almost thought I had bad eye sight. The text has an extra layer of text behind it. The wifi password is not updated on menus. So far impression? A business that don't care about the details and not consistent. The ladies next to me ordered same pizza and theirs is fresh.. mine was an after thought The pizza was okay not the best I had, cheese was already cold by the time it landed on my dine-in experience. I would expect the pizza to be like this during ubereats delivery. Not as it comes right out of the oven to table. The crust is a bit soft for my liking..I wouldn't necessarily come back for another. Now the ambiance is way too loud for my taste too Other than this, it's is great for big crowds and ample seating. I can see it being a good spot for kids too as they have games here in the corner. Parking is street or back lot which can be packed!
google avatar

Andrew B.

Yelp
So you take your kids Christmas shopping right? I mean, it's a good tradition to march them around a few stores and get them out of their own selves for a little. I mean sure, it's exhausting and sure, you paid for it. But they picked out that paperweight for mommy, gosh darn it. Maybe they even helped wrap it. There's always that obligatory lunch during this hypothetical shopping trip. You know, the kids are grumpy from being lead around the stores, you don't really care what you eat as long as they are occupied for five minutes and you can check Yelp for a godforsaken minute because we're not going to go to another one of those... Pizza places. Yup, Mojo has a prime spot on the Oakhurst square next to Steinbeck's. You can see into the kitchen from the street. They're tossing pizza dough. Seems nice. Anyway, we go in and see a large dining room with a large bar. Lots of seating. A large bar. We ordered a simple pepperoni and had at it. I mean, it's pizza right? It's fine, you know? Sometimes I'm not asking the universe for artisanal cheese and organic sauce and heirloom wheat crust. Sometimes I just want my kids to chill, and they don't care about that uppity stuff. It's Christmas, afterall.

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot that is friendly and family run. New York style pizza with great taste and quality
google avatar

Debi J.

Yelp
Had a nice slice and a few cocktails. The bartenders were super friendly and the bill was lower than expected! I'll definitely come back.
google avatar

Matthew D.

Yelp
Decent pizza! We don't really go here often but when we do it's pretty good. Their pizzas are consistent and delicious. They have a great beer selection and have liquor as well.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Hard to believe that almost 30 years of living in the neighborhood I've never tried the pizza. We ordered the Hurricane medium and it was very good. Picked up hot and fresh. We'll be back next time when the pizza bug hits

Elaina C.

Yelp
This is a cute place, and the pizza is pretty good. However! Never, ever ever order ahead and pay before you get the food. I've ordered from them twice, paid, and never got the pizza. The first time was delivery. 2 1/2 hours after I ordered, it still wasn't here. I had called twice, both times they said it was in the oven. Then I ordered online for pickup. Got there 30 minutes after ordering and they took my payment. 40 minutes later, I was still sitting and waiting. They kept saying "they're working on it" but I'm pretty sure they hadn't started it. So I asked for a refund, because it was looking like it was never going to get made, and I was tired. Then the manager told me she couldn't refund me because the POS (computer) traffic was too heavy, and told me to call back for my refund. So $38 and 90 minutes later, no food. I probably won't go back again, but if I do, I won't pay a penny until the items are in my hot little hand!

Yelp
More than satisfied with our Italian fix for the week. Calzone and pizza made to order with many ingredients not typically offered made them special.
google avatar

Greg W.

Yelp
Solid food. No service, no ambiance. 4 because of solid food. Order ahead, pick it up. CHECK IT BEFORE LEAVING. Correct it. Return home.
google avatar

Jalyce M.

Yelp
This Pizza was delicious. The sauce was evenly distributed and the crust was just thin enough to enjoy all the toppings. We received it right out of the oven. The cheese was evenly distributed and the slices were so large we could barely eat one slice each. The wings were good as well but a bit overcooked. The tables faced the square and the area was very pleasant with an abundance of other shops. The kitchen was visible through a large glass window. Despite current restrictions we felt very comfortable and sat and ate at the restaurant.
google avatar

Peter P.

Yelp
This is our go to in the kirkwood / oakhurst neighborhood. It's well priced and we've had a good experience any time we've ordered takeaway from here. It will probably continue to be our go to unless a pizzeria from Italy moves to the neighborhood lol. We've tried other pizzerias in the neighborhood, and this is our favorite. We've tried a variety of pizzas from here and each one has truly been consistent. The crust has a nice chew to it, and tastes good. The toppings are fresh. Will this pizza be the best you've ever had? I'll be honest, no, but it absolutely gets the job done if you're wanting to have a pizza night or an easy dinner to feed the entire family. It's been solid each time we've ordered. Anytime we've ordered from here, the pizzas were always done when they say they will be done (usually 35-45 minutes). Don't @ me, but my favorite is ordering the country ham and pineapple (I KNOW what people think about pineapple on pizza, I don't care), but their Mediterranean and Mardi Gras specialty pizzas are SOLID choices too.

Shawn B.

Yelp
I am fairly new to Oakhurst, maybe two years now this month. My fiancé told me this place wasn't good but she hadn't been there in years. So I wanted to try it myself on case she was overly harsh. So I went once and tries some of their pizza and it wasn't bad so opted to go back to try again and get a fuller dining experience. Mistake. Was there over 30 minutes and had two beers but had ordered wings as well. After over thirty minutes I decided to leave. Wings had not even been dropped yet despite being told twice that my wings were already in. While sitting at the bar I heard at least twice that pizzas had been made wrong. Hey owner, might be because all of your staff was doing shots of your liquor without paying. Front and back of house. I'll give you two stars because of the semi ok pizza I had before but likely will not be back. Such a shame too since you are so close to where we live.

Yelp
This is my first time here in years. I remember the pizza was delicious way back then. Today I stopped in for a slice of BBQ Pit (that's the name of the pizza) the slice was humongous the crust was excellent with a light crunch. The BBQ Pit is made of pulled bbq pork I substituted the white onions with mushrooms, I'm not a fan of onions. This pizza was just like I remembered it delicious! The next time I'll try the Graveyard made with bacon, ham and ground beef and of course I'll add mushrooms. Service was very friendly. This was a nice lunch. I'm glad I stopped in today!
google avatar

Sabrina G.

Yelp
Good New York style slices with plenty of options for the food and drink. Tbh you can't beat good pizza and beer but mojos knocks it outside of the park and I give that to both the people making the pizza and serving it. Paige was an absolute doll of a waitress! She attended to me of course but she was so sweet to all the kids In The joint too, to the point where I had to take notice. If you have kids, friends, or a long lunch break come here!
google avatar

T K.

Yelp
We have given Mojoes pizza several chances as we live in the neighborhood. You can basically describe it as microwave pizza. It's so disappointing to have a pizza place right down the street from your house but it is so gross that you we refuse to order it. I truly do not understand how this place stays in business. Especially after failing the health board check.
google avatar

Kenneth G.

Yelp
Pizza classic. I love this place. We would meet there on Saturdays after work projects and then of course take out anytime. Getting ready to order now.
google avatar

Gromici G.

Yelp
This past Sunday (4-18-2021) at 1800 we ordered two pizzas. One Mediterranean large and one meat lover (heart attack) medium size. The large pizza was "OK", but the medium "heart attack pizza had very very little meat toppings on the pizza. This is not the pizza that I had gotten at MoJo's in the past. Any new personnel need to know your high expectations to deliver a quality product. Make them eat a "Heart Attack" pizza. Then they will know in the future how it is done. You are better than this. I called to let management prior to penning these comments.
google avatar

Antwynette R.

Yelp
I was very disappointed this evening. After coming here a few times I now realize this spot is a hit-or-miss. Also, service and food seem to be better during the day time. Tonight I couldn't even get a seat at the bar because two children were sitting there with a family member? There were plenty of tables available, but me..the adult had to sit at a table to drink my beer. To make matters worse they were showing a kids show on TV for them at the bar. After ordering two beers two slices, and a side salad, the bill came to a whopping $39!! I had to go ask for an itemized receipt. Then the young lady came to the table and scrutinized the bill after being told that the total was completely wrong. She took it to the back, but never came back. No apology...staff here needs training in proper customer service. The best part of the meal tonight was the side salad. The pizza could have been better, it was lukewarm.

Yelp
Once upon a time in Atlanta, Mojo was in my weekly food budget. Not the greatest pizza, but I managed to figure out how to get a big pie with two toppings from them for 20 bucks with tax. Sometimes burnt but edible, sometimes not. Then one day I got a ground beef and onion pizza that had RED HAIR in the pizza. Called them, they swapped it out - Manager even knew who's hair it was! Even excused the fact they wanted the pizza back, making me wonder were they recycling the slices for the next day. Went on with them. Left and came back. Ordered my regular pie. This time with a honey lemonade. Delivery Driver is three hours late. Drinks my beverage. I call them back and tell them he's drinking my drink - I see him polishing it off as he's bringing my food out the car. Has the nerve to give me a Minute Maid Lemonade bottled 16 oz in compensation, uh what? Pizza is ALSO WRONG and NOT MY ORDER. Manager steps in again. Takes another two hours for my food to come. Driver gives me my money back and tip and informs me Mojo is NEVER delivering to my location or block AGAIN. I call the restaraunt and they won't answer - I know they have caller ID so I call from my other number and surprise, surprise they ANSWER. It's not that great to put up with such foolishness. Ditch them before the hairs inevitably show up.

Yelp
SLOWEST SERVICE EVER! We came here for Ramen Wars. We arrived early enough to not have to wait for a seat. The place was moderately busy as the event was about to begin. Service looked slow with customers finishing up. Acelyn B and I decided to order some wings before the event as we were hungry. We waited over 30mins for an order of 8 freakin wings. Flash forward. We've ordered our ramen. Waiting. Waiting. I need another beer. So after about 10 minutes of looking for my server, I order another beer. More waiting ensues. After another 30mins, my second beer arrives at table. Still no ramen. Such a poor experience. I have my go-to for pizza. I really can't imagine I'm coming back for this.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Really good NY style pizza. Slices are large and floppy/foldable. If that is what you're looking for then this is the spot in the Oakhurst area. Only been once so I don't know about consistency, but this 1st time was good. Oh yeah, also got chicken Alfredo for a 13yo and she said it was good.
google avatar

Mika A.

Yelp
This is my second time ordering from Mojo and the pizza had been tasty both times, kids loved it. Today, even though there was a mishap with my order being mixed up, I received such nice treatment from Penelope on the phone who was very apologetic and Margaret the driver who had to come back for a second run. As a service provider myself I can truly appreciate when businesses do the right thing to please their customers as I would do the same. Thanks again ladies! Update: the service in house has been lacking, they fail to put in orders and overall doing their job. Not sure what is going on but we ended up spending almost over an hour there for a cheese pie that they ended up giving us for free due to the debacle.
google avatar

Elizabeth Leigh R.

Yelp
When they are playing all my fave 80s music like The Cure and New Order then I give them a five. Every now and then they play something awful so I have to mention that. I know music is very personal but I do enjoy eating my fave pizza to my fave tunes. Try the calzones because you get the delicious crunchy dough maximized that way.
google avatar

Regina M.

Yelp
Pizza excellent. Service left to be desired. We stopped for a quick slice for dinner. We considered getting it to go, but were assured "2 slices shouldn't be more than 10 minutes" The server to her credit was moving many of the tables and never had an issue with her consistent checking and making sure our water was filled. The other staff behind the counter seemed a little busy socializing so between the bustle of the restaurant and the to-go orders it felt a little like molasses. Eventually our 10 turned to 20, the 20 to 30. I realized looking around we were not the only ones but now we were late. The good news and once again to her credit, our server was very apologetic and quickly boxed up the slices to go - and then promptly refunded our meal. Kudos on making it right. The pizza itself was delicious but being late and rushed at the end left for a semi-questionable enjoyed meal. I would go back because the pizza is worth it, just make sure we don't have to rush anywhere after since the wait is most likely an issue.

Yelp
I really want to like mojo pizza as I live 3 blocks away. But, last week, my pizza was not even fully cooked. This week, I ordered with chow now on Saturday night. The app said pizza world be ready at 6. I arrive at Mojo's at 6:15 and a young man who was not wearing a mask said pizza would not be ready for another 45 minutes to an hour. He said they got mixed up with chow now orders. I left after they managed to process a refund, which won't show up in my account for 7-10 days. Pizza is not good, they still have figured out the Covid takeout routine 10 months into the pandemic and they don't consistently wear masks! A good pizza place would do so well in Oakhurst. I hope they turn it around or another pizza place moves in that knows what they're doing.

Christine U.

Yelp
Tonight was our third time trying out mojo and unfortunately it will be our last. This was our second time doing pick up and both wait times were significantly longer than estimated on the phone (more than 15 minutes longer). The pizza itself is hit or miss. But the main reason we won't be coming back is that none of the staff wears masks in the back. Some employees will wear masks when interacting with customers but everyone is maskless in the kitchen. As a healthcare worker, this is so disappointing to see. Individuals working in food prep during a pandemic should absolutely wear a mask for the protection of others.

Yelp
Mojo is a great little neighborhood gem in Oakhurst, away from the "hustle and bustle" of downtown Decatur. It's not the biggest place, but there is ample seating both in and out. It's very common to see families hanging out for a slice or a quick bit at the corner of East Lake and Oakview. My family and I have been there numerous times, most recently today. Each time, the service is good and the food is great. It comes out quickly, giving you an opportunity to spend more time with your friends or family, and not have to worry about where your food is. This time, we had the pizza. In past visits, their garlic knots are very good and the pizza is somewhat reminiscent of NY style - while the slices are big, the pie is average size, but it tastes similar to what you find in The City. They do have a bar, though I've never had a drink there. But I imagine you can get the usual suspects. This is one of those places where you can't go wrong, particularly if you just want to hang out on a nice night with no worries about how to dress or whether you're going to break the bank. Final verdict - a definitely go!
google avatar

Bonnie P.

Yelp
Oof!! I am madly in love with Mojo and saw that the reviews here are on the low side so dug around to see what was going on and found the answer...my review is based on their to-go experience not dine-in! So pls treat it as such. Two words: Mr. Pete Three words: Oh. My. God. I always order a large ($21, $16 for a medium) because it still tastes amazing as leftovers and the breaded eggplant and pesto combo is just wow. It also comes with roasted bell peppers. I do wish they had a vegan version of this (I'm not sure about the eggplant batter but know that the pesto for sure is not vegan) but I've tried this with vegan cheese and I like the combo better!! And the eggplant is so nice and crispy. If for some weird reason I feel like something else besides good ol' Pete, their Muffaletta is also super yummy with pepperoni, ham, and olives! I always order carry-out, and the wait is never really right on the money but gets it within 5 minutes. Miscommunication has occurred on more than one occasion (my pizza was almost given away to the wrong person...twice) thus my docked star. Luckily haven't experienced a soggy or burnt crust, though, and the pizza is always hot. Ugh, Mojo why can't I have you everyday?
google avatar

Mike J.

Yelp
Sadly, they didn't have their "mojo" at Mojo Pizza N' Pub for our first visit there last night. Briefly, draft beers served with way too much foam. Medium pizza had good toppings, but was entirely too salty and the crust was burnt...not overcooked but burnt. We ate what we could as it was getting late, otherwisde we'd have had them bake another one. Took a long time to get food, even though the place was not that busy. Service was about a C-. Ate there once since this terrible review. Same situation & they had to remake pizza. Be sure to ask to cook it "light."
google avatar

Neil J.

Yelp
Wow...just wow. My God do read the review from the lady who had the delivery person enter her home and come into her bedroom!! Owner responded admitting it happened but triued to make it sound like the delivery person was being nice and looking out for the customer's welfare by coming into ger home illegally! They are lucky she was nice. I woulda called the cops and sued. When will I learn to ALWAYS read reviews on Yelp (and ignore GrubHub reviews) before eating places? I got an Italian Sub through GrubHub (ratings there clearly inflated). First my door was locked and I left instruction to call when they arrived so I could meet them (it is an office). So first call all I hear is garbled. Next call several minutes later and I go get my food. Now this part could be GrubHub or the restaurant....but I see other complaints about hygiene so praying I don't end up sick from the small amount I ate. The delivery guy had greasy hair and looked very unkempt. Yikes....I was stupid to accept delivery! The sub was WAY too salty even after I removed all the cured meats (just ham left). The lettuce was beyond wilted and the onions were tough as if the used the layer right underneath the paper-like peel of an onion. It was soggy as well. Ate less than half and tossed it. Any of the chain sub spots are better than this. I cannot speak to pizza, or in store service but based on other reviews about excess saltiness I suspect they use substandard ingredients (pepperoni on my sandwich so that might crossover with pizza that is too salty???). Anyway there is no excuse to eat at this place, period. If you want pizza, pasta, or subs.....there are lots of other choices all over the place. I'll add it is about 3 hours out from eating 1/4 of the sub and my stomach is cramping so not a good sign. Bad mojo going in and apparently bad mojo coming back out.

Yelp
I order a pizza from this place and I fell asleep. I WOKE UP TO THEIR PIZZA GUY IN MY BEDROOM!!!! Apparently my door was unlocked and so he took it upon himself to enter my home and come wake me up in my bedroom. He then tells me that I shouldn't have had my door unlocked! TERRIFYING. It was like a horror movie. Still making sure nothing in my house was taken. I completely understand that I should have had my door locked but I never thought it was a green light for some pizza guy to just come into my house!!! I guess this is a lesson for me as well. But screw this place, they tried to blame me and I get that. But never have I had a delivery guy come into my house bc the front door was unlocked.

Yelp
Off the Scout Mob trail we saw a deal for Mojo and since we were feeling like having pizza we decided to give it a go. Mojo's back parking lot must be shared since there really wasn't anyone in the restaurant, but it was fairly hard to find a spot. So noting that, parking is in back, but you may be stuck on the street. Inside it seemed pretty chill and laid back. For the most part the place was empty with only a few at the bar and a leisurely group at a booth at the front. The place looks like it could get pretty busy on nights with a stage ready for a live band, TV's at the bar playing any relevant games and so forth, but for that afternoon, it was chill. Pizza, it's what we came for, and so we got the "Risin' Sun." An inspired Hawaiian style pizza with a sweet and spicy twist. In place of ham came the jalapenos and a dash of red peppers. It sounded good, but the execution not so much. The ingredients aren't fresh, no biggie, not like I haven't had canned pineapple wedges before or del monte pickled jalapenos on a pizza before. While it wasn't a disaster, it should be said that it was kinda sad looking, and not very tasty. No real sweetness to it from the pineapple, but what could be accused of trying to mask something terrible with one ingredient that has some flavor at all, that being the jalapenos. They were about all that had a reasonable flavor to it. The cheese was a congealing mess, and forget trying to eat it later as it just got worse cold or re-heated. I'm giving them an okay, since they aren't necessarily that awful, just more a let down to fairly unimpressed. If we were in the area and wanted pizza I'd possibly consider them again, but definitely a different pizza.

Yelp
We came here for the ramen pop-up that we saw on Facebook. We were so excited for it, but unfortunately it fell very flat. We arrived a bit earlier than the scheduled 7pm for the pop-up, so we decided we would just sit and order something on their regular menu anyway and went with the wings. Now, please note that they were not yet packed, probably regular night. But omg, such SLOW ASS SERVICE. 40mins for 8 wings. Almost another 30mins for a second BEER. We ordered our ramen before we even got our wings! Ridiculous. The wings were okay, but the ramen was definitely not. We both got the Southern ramen that came with roasted corn, collard greens, and we chose pork belly to add in. It's a veggie broth, which made me very skeptical about its taste, but substitutions were not allowed, so I had to go with it. I was hoping the pork belly would boost the flavor of the broth, but it didn't. The pork belly itself wasn't even good. It wasn't tender and lacked flavor. After eating, we were ready to leave and knew we would have trouble flagging down our server again. So instead, I went to the counter to just pay the check. While there, a man came up also to say they waited and waited and never got their ramen, so he wanted to pay for their drinks and just leave. While people watching during our whole stay there, two tables were waiting for 40minutes to just get a box and their check. A woman suggested an incoming party to not stay here if they want to eat. In 1.5hrs, she and her family had only been served wings. Again, ridiculous! Never. again.

Yelp
Pizza wasn't bad. More frustrated with the ordering and delivery. Their website says you can order online directly from them but every time I tried it went to a weird 3rd party site that wanted me to download an app so I ordered through Yelp. Not sure whose fault it is but when you order a pizza and add toppings it doesn't charge more than the price of the pizza (this was my first time ordering from them so I don't know how it works). I pay and get an order confirmation and then 10 minutes later get a text message saying they are going to charge me an additional $14 due to changes or additions to my order? It told me to pick up to 6 toppings so I did and it didn't change the cost. If that's not the case then you need to talk to someone about reprogramming the ordering system. Lastly, I put step by step instructions on how to get to my apartment once you reach the address (which isn't hard if you actually read the instructions). The delivery guy calls me saying he can find my apartment..:but he's parked right below it sitting in his car. He goes to confirm the apartment number and has it completely wrong. I went and double checked but I had indeed put the correct address in. So frustrated with this experience and despite the somewhat okay pizza we will probably not order from here again. There is a Fellini's across the street that has yet to disappoint.

Yelp
Delicious food made fast! We ordered two Strombolis for pickup (during the Coronavirus outbreak) and they were ready when we arrived. Both of our Strombolis were delicious and still warm when we got home. No complaints! Will definitely be coming back again!

Yelp
The pizza is good, the "ambiance" is less than good. I am always a fan of pizza-by-the-slice places and this place did not disappoint, at least food wise. I got the Rising Sun pizza (basically jalapenos and pineapple) and it was very good (and very spicy) and the slice was big! They also have a great selection of beers on tap and the waiters are very good at giving recommendations. I sat at the bar so it didn't take toooo long for someone to take my order but I did end up waiting a while for the actual pizza. Based on the staff conversations I heard, they seem a little all over the place and if you were at a table it did take longer for them to take your order/give you your food. My biggest problem with the place was the noise. I understand that it's a family place and there are going to be kids around -- that's fine, I love kids. But this place wasy just rowdy. The kids were running around, crying, hitting each other, screaming, you name it really.Obviously this is not the fault of the establishment but I also got the feeling that this wasn't abnormal for a Friday night. If I'm in the area I would go again because the food was good (and pretty cheap), but I'm not going out of my way to come back. Note: they serve the pizza on a tray that has paper on it that tears very easily. Either eat the pizza by hand or move the paper before you use your knife to cut the pizza otherwise you may end up eating bits of paper.

Yelp
Is that bad that the first thing that comes to mind when hearing about this place is Austin Powers? As in, Austin Powers' mojo? Anyway, that's what I think about. Not pizza. But this is indeed a pizza place, located in the middle of uber cute 'hood Oakhurst. I went with a group on a Monday night - and it was emmmpty. Probably only three other dining groups in the restaurant. However, according to my friend that's a regular, it gets pretty crazy on other nights of the week especially trivia night. It's also quite nice of them to remind you on all the table's napkin holders that there are coupons on their website! The best thing about this place is the variety of toppings you can get - I went with a pretty random combo of gorgonzola and artichokes. . but that's the beauty of the pizza pie. You can also try some of their crazy pizza concoctions by the slice, which is nice. Selections including ones with BBQ, the "Gumbo" or the "Po'boy." So print those coupons, and check out a slice! Ah and Oakhurst is still up and coming enough to have ample free parking!

Yelp
I ordered delivery and decided on the calzone with roasted garlic, feta cheese, and pepperoni. It was a decent calzone. It had a good amount of ricotta and feta and ample pepperoni. The problem I had is that it contained, no joke, at least two entire heads of garlic. I like garlic but that doesn't mean that I want to eat two heads of it. Way too much. Cut down on the garlic and I'd like this a lot more. I posted a picture that will show the amount of garlic, too.

Yelp
Very much worth the wait. I'm never gonna complain about wait time when I ordered food on a Friday night! When I got it, it was hot and they gave me extra sauce. Delivery driver was lovely. 10/10 wild buy again on my next "cheat" day

Yelp
I adore Mojo's. I've been going since I was little and they taught me to put honey on my pizza crust, something I still do to this day. The range of specialty pizzas is amazing and consistent. The salads are great too.

Yelp
Went to Mojo Pizza n Pub with my cousin Hank today. My first visit here. My cousin is a regular. We ordered a medium pizza. This is by far the best pizza place we have gone to. Loved the crust!! It is not really close to me but I will be back. Loved the restaurant decor. The place has a great vibe. If you read the front of the menu, it tells about the buildings history. It was a pharmacy at one time. Our waiter was Cesar. I enjoyed the pizza so much that before we left, I ordered one to go for my family. Overall, it was a great place to go and the waiter was pretty attentive. Will definitely be going back. Eager to try other things that I saw on the menu.

Yelp
Plenty of better pizza places in the area. Mojo's lacks flair, service, and quality. We were not greeted at entry, left without service as the staff hung out along the bar, and ultimately served by an indifferent server w/ poor hygiene. The restaurant was filthy as well. Look around the area... notice how every patio is busy and Mojo's is empty? There's a reason. I love pizza and rarely consider one bad, but I recommend avoiding Mojo's.

Yelp
Mouth gasm. Best pizza I've had in Atlanta and I've tried all the super-cool-kid places. Rivaled only by Memphis Pizza Cafe, which has my heart because it got there first. Try their white pizza, add bacon and green peppers. You will worship at the Church of Mojo, I promise.

Yelp
Fantastic staff and amazingly good pizza! One of my favorite places to grab a pint and a slice. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially if you're in the mood for NY style pizza that rocks. Big thumbs up!

Yelp
This is a great location, and very near my house, but every time I go I'm amazed that the stoned teenagers working there are so unconcerned with customers. Still great pinball machine's, so I'm there every so often with the kids and a stack of quarters.

Yelp
This place is extremely slow and unorganized. I placed an order and the waitress informed me that it would take 45 mins for it to be ready. I checked back an hour later on the status to be told they haven't even prepared my order. They apparently rush food delivery services orders first and not the customers who are standing in their establishment, who's already submitted payment. I would never order from here again.

Yelp
Great pizza, great service. Enjoyed my afternoon here eating slices and putting up high scores on their 2 pinball machines. Fun times!

Yelp
Cool, eclectic vibe and pizza was 'okay'. The only negative is that the toppings are really skimpy, especially for what they charge.
