Google
Always the best burger anywhere in the world. I love the Hall of Famer because of the fresh ingredients and large selection so you can customize your burger anyway you like! The service is always fast and efficient and the staff works together to ensure you are taken care of no matter what time of day you visit. I come here every time I am within 50 miles of this place because you can't go wrong with Mojoe's!

Google
One of my favorite goto places to eat. Very inviting. Great variety, very accommodating and great food. Have never had anything bad here. Brought our boys here today (both of them). They loved it as well. Best dog Friendly place in Raleigh.

Google
I went here with burger eaters and they loved it. The smash burger was a winner I’m not a burger eater so I had the black bean patty which was a great size. It could have used some seasoning though. Really enjoyed the toppings offered. Great prices and options. The MoJoe’s sauce is ranchy snd zesty. Seating and parking is very limited.

Google
If you’re looking for a local spot with cheap, delicious burgers and a great vibe, MoJoe’s is the place to go! We ordered the Ranchero and the Breakfast burgers with a basket of fries and side of ranch to split. The burgers were juicy and packed with flavor, and the crinkle fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the Thin Mint milkshake and a vanilla milkshake with peanut butter and Reese’s. A great place for a satisfying meal and definitely worth the visit for fries and shakes alone!

Google
Was looking for a good burger, a friend recommended this place. I wanted something thicker rather than smash style, so went with the big mo (10oz patty). I wanted to get a good feel for the quality of burgers here, so didnt obscure it with too many fancy fixins -- went classic lettuce tomato pickle ketchup. I was extremely satisfied with both the burger and the crinkle cut fries, probably my new favorite burger spot in Raleigh. Regarding the atmosphere, the vibe is dive-bar-esque (which is fine for a burger joint) with patio seating as well. Service was fine, not much needed to be done aside from taking my order and dropping my burger off. I will absolutely come back here, explore more options and update the review.

Google
Food was good, but not great. Fries are fresh cut in house (thank you!), but were too salty for my taste. Like their MoJoe’s sauce - it’s sort of a Cajun ranch. Definitely has a little kick. I ordered the southwestern burger; no complaints, really, it was just kind of meh.

Google
Repeat customer here telling you.. their burgers are great! One of the best in the area. All the appetizers taste like they are homemade too, not like cookie cutter prefab stuff you get at some joints. My wife always gets the black bean burger and and she says it is the best in the area. Just a solid joint with a very chill vibe.

Google
Good portions and lots of interesting options for burgers. They also have NA beer on the menu which is great for me noon on a Monday. Next time I'll save room for milkshakes!

Toshi I.

Yelp
This is a happening place. Lots of seating choices both indoors and either covered patio or umbrella. We opted for the indoor bar. Didn't have the beer, but based on reviews, I had to try the Veggie Burger which was excellent. Sticking with veggies, I also ordered the O-rings to share (my justification) which were also decent. The menu gives you a choice of either build a burger or go with their suggested combos. I chose the complements which came with my burger which was not extra. It can add up if you have specific condiments you must have. Your custom order is served hot and fresh, hence the slight wait. The service here is attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back for more!

Yelp
Ignore the pictures of the food Ordered a Cobb salad which has a picture of the same salad you'd get at 100 other places. Grilled chicken etc It doesn't come with chicken which I found when I got home. When I called suggesting they don't use a picture that doesn't match the food, she instead read the ingredients off to me to prove the list didn't include chicken. Meh customer service. Decent salad just not what I expected

Virginia B.

Yelp
We did take out here and will be back for sure. I had a basic burger with lettuce , pickles and tomato. The amount and quality of the meat was amazing! Fries were plentiful and good as well, typical fried but done well. All of us enjoyed our burgers, others got different toppings. They have a lot of choices. I like they have nice salads and chicken sandwiches too...something for everyone.

Mark A.

Yelp
My family ate here last weekend we got the build your own burgers ,sweet potato fries (OUTSTANDING!) Truffle Fries( Phenomenal!) I would put these truffle fries against any Gordon Ramsay fries that I've had in Las Vegas. Now the best for last.... The burgers were absolutely amazing and now at the top of Mount Everest, the best burger I think I've ever had in my entire life and absolute must go eat if you're in town and if you're local, you're probably going to gain a lot of weight because the food is terrific.!!!! I will look for a location every time I travel!! 6 STARS

Yelp
I wanted to like this place more. I got the Breakfast Burger which has a fried egg, cheese and bacon. Unfortunately, the burger patty was dry and overcooked with no pink (they don't ask how you'd like it done), and the egg was also way overdone. The whole thing was disappointing. Onion rings: These were delicious and came with the spicy MoJoe's sauce. Fruity pebbles milkshake: Probably the best part of the meal. Staff were average nice, but quite busy and rushed. Parking: Do I need to say more than good luck given it's in Glenwood South? There are about 10 spots right in their lot, but everything was taken (at 4pm on a Saturday). I wish you well finding street parking.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
This place deserves more acknowledgement. You can't go here and not get something on their special menu. On top of that, everything is affordable with so many deals! For three sliders (special menu), two whiskey drinks ($1 of whiskey drinks), crinkle cut fries , two added sauces (I didn't know sauces were a few extra cents) - you pay a little less than $40. And that's with 15% tip included. The girls working are also super friendly. Star of the show, crinkle cut fries. Can't have it without the mojoe sauce. I love lemon flavor things.

Nathan N.

Yelp
MoJoes our family's favorite dining spot in downtown Raleigh. The food is good, not incredible, but for the price it's a great value. It's consistently good as well. The onion rings with MoJoes sauce are superb. There are lots of build your own options. I generally jump around between wings, chicken sandwiches or salads. It's usually a louder environment and very casual so not a place you have to worry too much about the kids disrupting other diners.

Darrell B.

Yelp
MoJoe's Burger Joint is definitely a crowd pleaser. I sat at the bar and was helped right away and offered a drink. The service is top tier and quick as everyone is working together. The burgers are juicy and delicious and a very popular place for NC folks which I loved. It definitely got packed and they have several tv's to watch the game and drink specials. As a person that is from out of town, I definitely loved the calm, laid back vibe and the easy parking. Do yourself a favor and order the tater tots with chili and cheese and you will thank me later !

Ebony M.

Yelp
An easy walk from the Cigar lounge - this gem is tucked away! Lots of outdoor and indoor seating. The wait staff was amazing! They greeted us upon entry. Assisted by recommending amazing dishes and checked on us frequently. I went for the nachos and Wow!!! Sooo delish! The turkey burger was small - looked like a kids meal / but still good for 930pm. The restaurant was very cozy and had a clean bathroom. I'm ready to return.... Tip: Ask for the special sauce when ordering French fries !! You won't be disappointed.

Fahya R.

Yelp
Mojoe's is one of the best burger joints in town. The burgers are juicy and tasty. The fries are always good, and they have my favorite IPA beer. The service is always friendly. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed.

Markiesa B.

Yelp
I came here Sunday afternoon for some lunch and it didn't disappoint. I got the Carolina bbq sandwich and a side of crinkle fries. Everything tasted good, the sauce for the sandwich came in a separate container so you can pour it yourself. Overall the food was good and they had plenty of seating. I sat on their enclosed patio !

Adam B.

Yelp
I came by on a Sunday night for the Hall of Fame challenge. Now I've tried 5 pound burger challenges before, so a 1 pounder wasn't exactly intimidating to me. Going inside, there's a dive bar feeling, the point of the atmosphere is to be casual and welcoming. Plenty of outside seating is available too. The burger was cooked solid, just a little pink and juicy. The toppings were good quality, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The only thing I would've done differently is to warm up the roll; this one was room temp and I think warming it up would've helped. But the Mojoe's sauce is really good, I'm going to have to get that with some onion rings one of these days! The staff was quite friendly, they kept my water and iced tea cups full, though I was a little surprised they use styrofoam. The tea was freshly brewed too, that's important. I also drank an orange crush cocktail after my burger and I appreciate that they used fresh juice. It may not have been quite as good as the ones I've enjoyed in Virginia Beach, I thought it was a little too sweet, but it was still fine.

Victor S.

Yelp
Excellent burgers. Cooked properly. Toppings were fresh and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

Leonardo B.

Yelp
Burger was delicious. However the waitresses have the personalities of a wet sock. It's as if we were bothering them by even being there. I felt bad for even asking to be served. Felt like I was in trouble or something. I usually tip well. But that is mostly based on service and these girls were not even present it's almost as if they were forced to be there.

Cliff C.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Food is great, staff is great. Ambiance is awesome. BUT. We came here this time and were waiting for our table. A guy bought in a cute dog. But we noticed 3 wait staff come over rubbing the dog. Now , we saw one go straight to a table grab the ladies cup to give her a refill. Not sure if the other 2 staff washed their hands or not. But this one did not. We left before being seated. We have a dog and love him and have also taken him there with us. But maybe staff just not play with pets?? Still this place is amazing and if this does not bother you I would say go.

Mike B.

Yelp
Went here for an easy dinner one night, while visiting our daughter & grandson. We all did the build your own burgers, which were great. Also did a basket of onion rings for an appetizer, which were very good. The star of the show, however, may have been the tater tots. You don't find these everyone, and they're perfect with burgers, especially when cooked crispy and so well. We'll hit this joint again.

Allan A.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quiet, fine dining place, this is not for you. If you're looking for a really good burger, fantastic crispy onion rings, and a loud environment does not bother you, then check out this place. You dejected the protein l, how you want to dress it up and bang, you are ready to eat. They have a small parking lot so leave time to search for parking.

Sally K.

Yelp
My first visit at MoJoe's as suggested by my granddaughter. There was a great selection of burgers including black bean and a turkey burger. Also many other options to choose from. The only desserts are milk shakes so that was a bit unusual. The food portions were a good size but not huge - making the pricing more reasonable. There were three seating options: outside open on a patio, a covered and screened patio and inside. The service was prompt and the servers checked back regularly. Just a casual, fun experience.

Tom S.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a bite and relax. Big fan. Always good service. Food and drink is right on par with the price

Christopher E.

Yelp
My wife and I visited MoJoe's on a hot summer evening in June of 2024. We were promptly greeted and even though the place was busy they were able to find us seats on / in the side patio area. The service from our waitress was excellent throughout our visit. Other waitresses even stopped by to check on us a couple of times. The wait staff seem to help each other out so that's a great sign. My wife and I both got the smokehouse burgers. I got mine with no bacon since I don't eat pork. The fries were separate but, we ordered our own fries with MoJoe sauce. * I wish they had a ketchup without the High Fructose corn syrup. I thought the food was pretty good nothing fancy, you could definitely make better burgers and fries at home... For the convenience of not having to cook I think everything was good. The milkshakes we ordered for dessert were delicious!!! I do think we will go back to MoJoe's for the great service and especially for the milkshakes. It's definitely worth a try.

Lexi G.

Yelp
We tried the fried corn balls (a special), next level nachos, onion rings, smokehouse cheddar burger, and old Raleigh burger. Old Raleigh was super mustardy but I still liked it! Smokehouse was good, had lots of bbq sauce. Nachos were pretty skimp on the toppings, but it's whatever. Onion rings were standard. Service was amazing though, and the atmosphere was so fun!! Can't wait to try more burgers here. Shakes looked huge too but we didn't try one.

Bill H.

Yelp
Yes! Food, service, ambience. Iconic neighborhood, fast service, fun casual spot. Don't muss with out-of-towners.

Jack R.

Yelp
Everything about MoJoe's rocks! Pro Tip: get the MoJoes's sauce on the side for pretty much everything

Sahib G.

Yelp
If you are looking for a classic quality burger then MoJoe's is the place to go. I've been going there for over 7 years. They serve some great burgers that you can wash down with an ice cold beer, cocktail or a delicious shake. The burger is always cooking to the desired temperature and juicy. You can create your own burger or select one from their menu. This place never disappoints!

Scott P.

Yelp
Rumors are true - this is one of the best burger spots in the triangle and could be the contender of the best burger in downtown Raleigh. The place is casual and has a dive feel. Expect to wait a few min for a table at peak times, but the service is quick without sacrificing the quality of food or experience. Several burgers to choose from, wings, no burger sandwiches - there is something for everyone. Service was very friendly and also attentive. Local favorite all the way.

Brian V.

Yelp
Stopped in 10 minutes before the US Iran soccer game and they turn the game on and even turned up the volume so I could also listen. This is a good place for a quick bite and beer. In my case I had to settle for a tea cause I'm still working and it's lunchtime. With that said, to eat I got the corn bites for an appetizer and a southwestern turkey burger with cheese bacon tots. The Turkey burger was tasty and had fresh avocado, lettuce and tomato. The cheese and bacon tots tasted good with a side of ranch. Nothing fancy but a tasty burger and tots in a very welcoming atmosphere with a hospitable and accommodating staff. Thanks!

John Y.

Yelp
Ehh it's decent but not worth the price you're paying. Burger was overcooked and tasted like a frozen patty. Got some mozzarella sticks and those are totally kept frozen and tasted like it. We got one drink, burger w/a side and drink and was $33 for each person. Definitely won't go back cause Costco frozen hamburger patties taste way better and there's other really good burger places to go.

Jake P.

Yelp
Free off street parking! And great food in a cool area. I've had burgers here in the past and they're great. For this visit I did the Nashville hot wings and a salad. The wings were great, friendly service, the food came out quick, and it's a cool spot to sit and watch the bustling neighborhood

dani c.

Yelp
I live 40 minutes from here but i love the burgers, everything about them and i love how cheap it was, staff was small but super friendly, the place is nicely decorated

Tarhy A.

Yelp
I've been here twice and this is a great burger joint. They have a little of everything for your stomach's desire. We love sitting outside on their deck. Jordan's service was outstanding. I ordered the half pound smash with lettuce, onions, & pickles. The meat was seasoned perfectly and super fresh ingredients are used. The bun was a pillow and nestled everything like a great blanket. I would have loved to have eaten another one. We also got the bacon cheese fries and those didn't last long. They are a really good appetizer choice and 3 of us split it. I'll definitely be coming back here for any burger desires that I'll have while visiting Raleigh. Till next time....

Cameron A.

Yelp
Eating at MoJoes was a highly disappointing experience. From the moment we sat down, our server, Desirae, was inattentive and seemed to deliberately ignore our table. We had to flag her down multiple times just to place our order and get our drinks refilled. The food was great as it always is, but what was extremely unsettling, was the way our server handled the payment. Instead of handing our credit cards back politely, she threw them at us in a manner that was both rude and unprofessional.

Alexandra H.

Yelp
This place was incredible! Showed up for Friday dinner and were seated immediately in their covered patio. We also had a little yorkie dog that was immediately given a bowl of water by our server Food: I got a build your own veggie burger with the toppings of lettuce, tomato, pickled jalapeños, and green peppers. Also got buffalo sauce and bbq sauce on the side to put on. I haven't had a burger like that in a looooong time - it was amazing!!! Literally felt like a warm hug in my belly. I wish I took a photo of the crinkle fries basket that we also got, because that was absolutely sooo good! I haven't had good crinkle fries like that in a long time either. Needless to say, the service was awesome & the food was amazing! Will definitely be going back soon

Ileana F.

Yelp
Yum!! Great food at great prices. This place has some delicious fried pickles and some of the best house made ranch I've ever had. I always ask for an extra container! I've ordered the bleu cheese burger with a turkey patty on both occasions and both times its been delicious. The turkey patty is still really flavorful and juicy. It'll continue to be my go to. Service is always good! They check in and orders come out quick. Ambiance is casual, with outdoor and patio dining options. Also its right next to Raleigh Beer Garden which is a great spot to hit afterwards!

Phillip L.

Yelp
I'm a big burger and fries fan so my rating may be biased. However, I've visited enough places to rate them and Mojoes is pretty good. The smash burger is two patties full of flavor. And if you like crinkle cut fries, these are awesome. Always fresh and hot. This has become one of my go to places in the area and won't disappoint.

Andrew N.

Yelp
Great food and people! The menu is extensive and caters to a large amount of tastes! Looking forward to returning soon!

David H.

Yelp
We were all in the mood for a good burger and decide to take a little drive to get something better than a fast food burger. We had driven by this place a couple of times and finally stopped. Parking is very limited in their lot but we were able to find a spot. You are greeted by a sign that says to seat yourself. We found a table outside in the covered patio and sat. The restaurant has two outside eating areas that are covered and have space heaters to keep you warm. They also have an inner area with a bar and high tops. It was a rainy chilly day and the temp inside the covered patio was comfortable. We were greeted by a cheerful and helpful server who gave us menus and explained what they offered. We ordered wings and bacon cheese fries as appetizers and each one of us a different burger. The appetizers were tasty and came out relatively quick. Our burgers were juicy and flavorful and made exactly as we ordered. Overall I would recommend this place.

Josh M.

Yelp
What a MoRon I was for not going to MoJoe's sooner. A year after moving to Raleigh, I finally went to see why this burger joint on the corner of Glenwood stays so busy. Now I get it. The best burger I have had in the RDU to date.

Deborah D.

Yelp
Food was great. Made to order and arrived quickly. Basket of onion rings easily shared and still couldn't finish them. (Truth be told I was saving room for a shake) The burgers were juicy and one of the best I've had in Raleigh. The shake super yummy. Chocolate with peanut butter add in. They have many options and everyone should find something to like. Service was awesome. They obviously tip share because we had four different people help us out today. Very attentive and our much needed water on this hot day never was empty. It's no frills and that's ok because the food was amazing good. You can sit inside or out. Dress casual. We will definitely be back and this will be a definite out of town guest option!

LaRae J.

Yelp
In walking distance from my hotel and went again the very next day. I love a good burger and this place absolutely satisfied my craving. The first time I did a great your own, added crinkly fries, and enjoyed a Rum Punch in a bag. The second day, I had the Ranchero which I think might have tasted better if the egg was runny and not completely fried. The burger was delicious, a little spicy as I requested grilled jalapeños, but nothing I couldn't handle. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I believe they use too much ice in their cocktails because it didn't take long for the my rum punch and even my Moscow mule from the next day to be watered down. Great service! Almost forgot about the wings I had....barbalo flavor (mix of BBQ and Buffalo sauce) which were decent but nothing particularly special. I would visit again!

Jenna M.

Yelp
MoJoe's was good for a casual, sit-down lunch, it's like most other restaurant/sports bar places I've been to. The food was good enough - nothing remarkable. It is a seat yourself setup and they have indoor, outdoor, and partially enclosed patio seating (sorry for no photos). The indoor seating is limited with bar seating and a few tables - but it was very loud. Outside on the patio was our only option at the time so that's where we sat. The service was ok, it seemed like the servers didn't have much organization though because we had a second server approach us and ask for our order when we had already given our drink and food order to another server. I would've liked if it was more clean, the table felt sticky. They also use styrofoam cups even for people who are sitting down to eat which isn't only very wasteful, but also doesn't help the servers keep an eye on guests' drinks. We frequently had empty cups (it was a hot day), but the server had to ask us every time if anyone needed a refill because he couldn't see with the styrofoam cups. Just doesn't seem smart on the manager's part. I had the Bleu's sandwich with Fried Chicken, and I would NOT get it again. If I had known it was just going to be two chicken tenders instead of a patty, I would've changed my order. There was soo much bleu cheese on the sandwich, I couldn't taste much else. Also just FYI: most of the parking is parallel street parking and you have to pay. It wasn't much, just a few dollars depending on how long you spend there.

Brian F.

Yelp
Is a "dive-burger" joint a thing? The ambience of a dive bar and ok burgers. The fries were over cooked, the beer selection is weak. Service was prompt, but what this place has going for it is service and atmosphere. The food was not memorable.

James L.

Yelp
Service was okay. It took a little too long at the end to get our check which wasn't great. After getting us our food the wait staff never followed up to see if we needed something else. Ambiance was good. It was a cutesy location. The food was alright. I thought it was a tad bland and needed more seasoning or sauces. The fried green beans with the jalapeno ranch were great though.

J A.

Yelp
Amazing place for an amazing lunch. In town for business stopped at this joint for lunch. Three of us got burgers one of us got a Philly cheesesteak. The hamburger meat was fresh and seasoned well. They have three places you can enjoy your meal inside, out on the sundeck, are out on the uncovered patio. We chose the sundeck, which was nice and very pleasant. The wait staff was very attentive with smiley faces. Our food, was delivered by one server who is able to put eight plates of food on ONE ARM! We were all very impressed. Next time in town I'll for sure eat here again!!!!

N B.

Yelp
The food is always delicious! I love bringing people here for birthdays or get togethers. THE MOJOES SAUCE, I wish I could buy it by the tub. The bean burger is my go to and always lives up to expectations. The waiters are always nice and helpful. The onion rings and fries are always hot and yummy. Serves as great leftovers as well!

Chaunna H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my food! The burger was delicious. Moist and tasted fresh. The fries were also good. I don't have any real complaints.

Melissa Z.

Yelp
This place is just soooooo good I have nothing else to say about it. I'm really picky when it comes to eating burgers and it's not common for me to want to go out to eat and choose to eat a burger but this place is super delicious. The prices are also really good with huge portions. The nachos are absolutely delicious and I would get them every time! The regular burger is so good I couldn't even imagine eating a double. Nobody even finished their food because it was so filling. I like that you can pick all your toppings and cheese free of charge from a list minus extras like guacamole, bacon, etc. The cheese fries were good but the cheese also hardened quick and got gunky so I probably would skip on them next time, I prefer cheese fries with cheese that is creamy and melted into a sauce. Our waiter was kinda rude but other than that it was a great experience. It's at the top of Glenwood so it's near everything and you can definitely come here and satisfy your stomach after a day out/before a night out.

Gabby T.

Yelp
Not the type to complain or write a review but this was just unacceptable, came in with my friend and right off the bat servers were rude, unwelcoming and were rushing us. We ordered drinks and that's all we got. Then our server came to take our order and was rude and was giving us dirty looks while taking our orders. After we ordered she never came back to check on us, we never got any food after waiting 45 minutes while everyone around us that got there notably later than us got their food who also had much bigger tables. Our server even looked at our table multiple times and still didn't check on us. We left and will not be coming back.

John R.

Yelp
Great food at reasonable prices. One of the best burger restaurants in the state of NC.

Lindsay B.

Yelp
Craving a casual burger and a beer? I know the perfect place! MoJoe's is what some would call "a little hole in the wall place" serving up some of the best bar food you've ever had! Just trust me on this one. They have cheap draft beer, a laid back bar atmosphere with crafty cheeseburgers and sandwiches. Can you say YUM?! I've never met a fried pickle as good as their's and let me just tell you about those onion rings! The pickles and rings were so crispy and fried so perfectly. If you find yourself in Raleigh on Glenwood hungry or thirsty, this is the place to be. Can't wait to go back!
