The 7 Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings in New Orleans, Fall 2021 | Eater New Orleans

"From the owners of longtime Magazine Street Vietnamese favorite Magasin Cafe, Mukbang will occupy the former Chiba space on Oak Street (8312 Oak Street) and specialize in “elevated seafood” with a Viet‑Cajun twist, offering less-common items like lobsters and clams as well as extravagant seafood towers, its own bar program, and planned retail bottling and packaging of sauces and other items to sell onsite." - Clair Lorell

I’m a regular here—been coming for years. This time the three of us got the fried chicken wings, tofu soup, and kimchi fried rice, and we tried the egg fried rice for the first time… and wow, it was actually so good 😋. The wings are a must. Somehow they’re crazy crispy on the outside but still super juicy and tender inside—like, HOW do you do that?! And the tofu soup is always my go-to—perfect winter comfort food that warms you up instantly. Also, the vibe is so cozy—such a warm neighborhood feel, and the New Year decorations are really cute. I’ll definitely keep coming back! One small note: the service felt a bit rushed this time—maybe they were short-staffed and super busy. Hoping it keeps getting better, because I really love this place.

I came here while on vacation with my boyfriend. The interior of this place is nice, it felt cozy. For drinks I got unsweetened iced tea which tasted so good, Iike it was made in house. For appetizers, we shared the fried chicken wings. On the menu, it says the wings are sweet and spicy but it was just straight up sweet. No spiciness at all. We weren’t the biggest fans. For the meal I ordered the short ribs. Those were good. It came with complimentary sides which were okay. I think the kimchi was onion kimchi, I wasn’t a big fan of it. The service was fine. Overall this place is alright.

Google
This is one of my absolute favorite spots in Providence and in general. I stumbled upon it one day walking through the city and now make a visit every time I'm in town. The food is truly authentic, delicious, and sizable. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of lively without making conversations impossible to hear. The staff are very friendly and service is relatively quick for such a high tier restaurant that still fits at the affordable range. My favorite go to options are the soy dumplings, chicken ramen, beef fried rice, and the lava cakes are an absolute must - these lava cakes are the best I have ever had and are perfectly warm without melting too much of the cake or being too stiff. Perfect atmosphere for a date, friend meet up, for families, and solo dining.

Second time here and this food is just so amazing. My favorite dish is the scallion pancakes and the flavors are amazing. The service is well, and the servers are very friendly and easy to talk to. Also, they asked about my allergy, which is really great so I had a safe and happy meal.

Google
Best Korean restaurant I’ve been to in Providence. As a born-and-raised-Korean, I can assure you the menus are authentic (although side dishes aren’t all), they’re creative, they’re YUMMY. Really good atmosphere, nice price. Whether you want a home-y Korean food vibe, or a cute IG vibe restaurant, I’d recommend. The soy-bean stew was great (better than the ones I had in Korea).

We popped in on a Saturday for dinner. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly. I got the Yuzu aloe drink and it was very delicious! Dinner was very good. With all the extra sides on the tray it makes it a fun meal. The jap chea with beef was really good! Would come back for it. Everyone else at the table got the bibimbap and the chicken gang jeong. Good portion sizes and presentation! Would come back again for drinks and apps- those looked good but we didn't get any this time around. The space is really cute!

Google
The best Korean food I've had! We ordered the KFC wings, braised pork belly, and pork rib kalbi. Everything had such an amazing flavor. The wings were crispy, the pork belly melt in your mouth, and the rib sauce was amazing. The food was light and filling. Also, the service was great. I would come here again.

Google
The food and service were both incredible. My friends and I ordered several different dishes, which were all served quickly. Each dish was tasty, especially the fried kimchi pancake we shared. Great for a casual and lively sitdown dinner.

Yelp
Great ambiance and delicious, varied Korean food! Got the Duk Man Du and Kimchi Tofu Stew, both delicious with various sides and rice. Will be returning!

Yelp
Great restaurant right on Westminster St! With so many Korean restaurants in the city MokBan always sticks out. This time I went with 7 of my coworkers and we made a 6:30 reservation. We were sat promptly and our waitress was very kind and accommodating. They even have a whole gluten free menu if that's needed for you. Prices are reasonable with most dishes between 18-25. I had the tofu kimchi with pork and my coworkers had the stone pot bibimbaps. All were very happy with the food. I especially enjoyed the numerous banchans and there was so much food I couldn't finish. Paying the bill was easy as they had a machine they brought over. My only minor criticisms was that the restaurant was a little warm and loud. But it's not enough to ruin my five star experience.

Yelp
Cool, calm, relaxing environment to enjoy some Korean cuisine. The noise levels are moderate, but you can still hear conversations at your table. Smells from the kitchen fill the space, making sifting through the menu exciting. I had the chicken bibimbap. It was packed with solid variety and flavor. The sides were a nice touch. They were so diverse and really electrified the palate. The service was awesome and everyone was very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
We came quite late, but that just made the warm interior stand out that much more. Staff were friendly and the food was excellent - large trays with fantastic sides that complemented the main dish. I got the Kimchi Stew and would definitely get it again. Highly recommended

Yelp
Mokban is a lovely Korean restaurant at the heart of downtown Providence with delicious dishes and generous portions. The interior is a very cute space with warm-toned wooden paneling and spacious seating. We ordered the kimchi pancake, the stone pot bibimbap, the braised pork ssam, and the beef soft tofu soup and were blown away by how delicious each dish was as well as the generous amount of banchan and sides that came with each dish. The service was also great and attentive!

Yelp
If I could give this place 6 stars, I absolutely would! Mokban Korean Bistro is a gem. I loved the cozy vibe--especially around Valentine's Day, it felt so warm and inviting. The service was amazing--friendly, fast, and super accommodating. One of my favorite parts was the variety of side dishes that come with every meal. Such a fun and flavorful touch! Highly recommend trying the tofu soup and the katsu--both were delicious and super comforting. Also, don't miss the flavored rice wines--they have a great selection and each one is so unique. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
More like 4.5 stars Thanks to PVD Yelp pal I found this place and it was quite good. I brought my mom here for a weekday lunch What we got Me? Kimchi stew, comes japchae, pork belly, loads of veggies, salad, rice. Was good. Thought the rice was bit bland and broth was a bit salty Mom got japchae noodles with tofu and she loved it. She's never had Korean food before and now she's a fan. Yay! We got a free dessert, which was waffle and scoop of ice cream. It was nice and it was free lol We had no problems with the service. Everyone was polite and helpful. Parking is on the street and there is some for free if you look for it Price is reasonable given the location and food caliber Overall I really like the vibes and ambiance. The food was tasty so I would recommend!

Yelp
Nice little gem on our way back from a spin class! We definitely didn't know what to expect but found parking relatively easy right outside on the street. When we entered, there was only a few tables on this Wednesday night so we were seated promptly. The servers were very nice and we opted for the seafood jambong and the spicy pork bulgogi! Now i must say the presentation trays that everything comes on (all the Korean sides you get per dish listed on the menu) is nice and organized. Though i opted to place the different dishes on the table and ditch the tray after as it does take up quite a bit of real estate. The pork bulgogi was tender, came out hot and well seasoned. Now much to my liking, there was actually good size cut of meat and plenty of it: many other places tend to give you the tiniest bit of shredded pork and mainly filled fluff of veg and peppers. The lady had the seafood jambong sorry if i misspelled it, lazy to look it up again haha. But it had good deep flavor depth to the broth and the seafood felt fresh. Nothing off putting in taste. Came out hot, PLENTY of noodz and definitely filling! I was a fan of their KFC wings, large wings, well marinated flavor and seasoning with a bit of a kick! Crunchy underneath the sauce as that is the signature of Korean fried chicken! I will def be back when in the area!

Yelp
I come from a place that has amazing Korean food. THIS is Korean food elevated. Presented cleanly, every lettuce and cabbage wrap was uniform. This restaurant is in a beautiful area, but parking could prove challenging. Service here was incredible and you MUST try the honey yuzu tea. Lovely ambience.

Yelp
10/10!!! Soybean ramen was amazing, and the rotating banchan is a really nice (included) addition. Friendly staff as well!

Yelp
Delish!!! Bibimbop was really yummy. And the Bulgogi salad was great. Wings and dumplings good too.

Yelp
Providence isn't exactly a place known for its Korean food, though I must admit that the food has pleasantly surprised me with how much it's improved over the years. Perhaps it's from the more discerning college-age foodies that have descended upon Brown's campus in recent years. Our large party of twelve walked in without a reservation at the end of Brown's annual Reunion Weekend (around noon on a Sunday), and we were immediately seated at two large tables by the windows. The restaurant interior is spacious and airy, with an industrial-chic vibe, and large windows line the street-facing walls, allowing natural light to flood the interior and offering passersby a glimpse into the bustling dining area. Exposed brick walls and metal accents create a trendy yet comfortable atmosphere, complemented by vibrant green plants that add a touch of warmth and freshness. The menu is extensive and showcases a variety of Korean dishes ranging from the more Americanized fare (bibimbap, bulgogi, etc.) to more traditional foods (think seafood soybean soup and kimchi stew) to appetizers/street foods (dumplings, Korean fried chicken, and more!). We started with some appetizers to share, including their dumplings, edamame, and pa jeon. Their dumplings ($8.99 for 6 pcs, your choice of fried/steamed, beef/pork/shrimp/veggie) were okay: we went with fried pork dumplings, and while the skin was crispy, they lacked filling and flavor. The edamame ($6.99, mild or spicy) was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the pa jeon (scallion pancake, $10.99) was crispy and not overly greasy. For entrees, all dishes come with banchan and rice (Korean side dishes including pickled onions, cucumbers, kimchi, etc. - it's decent but nothing stands out). One member of our party ordered their Spicy Beef Veggie Soup ($20.99), which comes with tender pulled beef, egg, and plenty of vegetables and glass noodles in a spicy broth. While this was nowhere near the best yukgaejang we've had, it was perfectly serviceable. Another two members of our party opted for the Chicken Ramen ($19.99), which is a large bowl of their most popular ramen, topped with pulled chicken leg and vegetables in a garlicky, spicy broth. They seemed to enjoy the large portion and the unique vegetables such as fernbrake and taro stems, which you don't often see in ramen. The Kimchi Beef Fried Rice ($16.99) is a huge plate of stir-fried rice with kimchi, spicy sauce, onions, and beef bulgogi - this is a great option as it allows them to mask less-than-fresh kimchi and lower-quality cuts of meat in a dish that is a great value and arguably still delicious, topped with an indulgent runny fried egg. Lastly, I opted for the Ginseng Chicken Soup ($25.99), which is one of my favorite Korean dishes of all time: a whole cornish hen stuffed with sweet glutinous rice, dates, chestnuts, garlic, and ginseng root. This version was fine, but not memorable: the chicken was large and tender, but there wasn't enough rice stuffing, nor dates, chestnuts, and garlic (and only a tiny piece of ginseng). I did enjoy how it came with a side of salt and pepper to season the broth to your liking, but I couldn't justify spending $26 for this dish again. Overall, I think that this is probably some of the best Korean food that you'll find in the area, and as long as you don't get your hopes up too high for truly authentic fare, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking to curb a Korean food fix with satisfactory food, friendly service, and a great vibe, this is a great option!

Yelp
Tasty Korean food in an elevated atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is stunning with light woods, plants and warm lighting. The ambiance of the restaurant is casual but elevated. I tried the duk man du which was a rice cake and dumpling soup and my partner got the bibimbap. Each entree is served on a wooden tray called a mokban and came with banchan. My soup was hearty and the broth was very flavorful. I loved that they included crispy rice to sprinkle on top. The banchan was unique, and several of the dishes I had not tried before. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and this is the perfect date night dinner spot!

Yelp
Mokban Korean Bistro is an absolute gem, located in Downtown Providence! We were craving some good Korean food in the area and Mokban definitely delivered just that! The restaurant is super cute, spacious w/ tall ceilings, had a rustic aesthetic, and served our entrées w/ pretty wooden trays. What we ordered: -seafood jam bong / jjamppong -pork bulgogi -kfc wings -ice cream w/ waffle Everything we tried today was absolutely phenomenal. I honestly wasn't expecting the seafood jjamppong to be as spicy as it was haha, I often order seafood jjamppong at Korean restaurants and this has been one of the spicier jjamppong I've tried! It had a great amount of seafood, and included shrimp, squid, mussels, and clams. The pork bulgogi was also very good! Had nice flavor & we liked that they used pork belly instead of the typical cut of pork used for bulgogi that we have seen. Something I really liked about our meal was that they gave us some steamed cabbage to make bulgogi wraps! Not a lot of places steam the cabbage for you, not that I've seen or experienced. I think I could eat the steamed cabbage by itself, every day! We ordered the KFC wings as our appetizer and it was tasty. Loved the flavor profile & cooked well, not dry at all. To end our meal, we indulged in their ice cream dessert, which consisted of a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream I believe, on top of a mini waffle, with a mini strawberry on top! That was a lovely way to end our dining experience at Mokban Korean Bistro! Only thing I would say that could be improved is the service. The staff members were all very nice, however, the service was a bit on the slower side. Other than that, our meal was perfect and I could definitely see myself coming back again the next time I'm in Prov & craving Korean food! Parking: meter parking available right outside.

Yelp
Great spot for some Korean classics! The service was great other than asking for water refills just once. The space is also large, so I would definitely return with a larger group next time. We started with shrimp sweet chili dumplings - they were super crispy and had great spice. For the meals, we got a Stonepot bibimbap and a Mokban ramen. Both dishes came with a side (either a miso soup or crispy rice) and banchan. The banchan are always different, and I love trying the different creations each time we come here! The meals were very well seasoned and well cooked. Our least favorite part of the meal was the beef shank in the ramen; it was chewy and wasn't our favorite flavor. The pork belly in the ramen was great though! I also got a soju mojito to go with my meal. It was a pretty good drink! Overall, we will definitely come back to continue trying dishes. It's a great spot for larger groups or an easy weeknight meal!

Yelp
The food was very good! My soft tofu stew arrived a bit lukewarm but the server was super nice about getting it heated up for me. The wait time was super low and the ambiance is good

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing! For appetizer we had the pork dumplings and for entree we got the Chicken Noodle Ramen and GangJeong! Absolutely phenomenal! 10000% recommend if you're in the Providence area to come check this place out. Beautiful lighting and ambience and perfect for multiple vibes! Service was great.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised to find authentic Korean food right here in Providence! The vibes are great, and I love that all mains are served on a wooden tray (fitting with the name "mokban") with side dishes (banchan). Both the KFC wings and the dumpling soup were super tasty, full of flavor, and came in generous portions. Definitely a spot I'd highly recommend!

Yelp
Stopped in for late snack during the 4th of July water fire. They were closing in 45 min but said they could squeeze us in. The food was super tasty. I got shrimp dumplings, someone else got pork dumplings and someone got the beef bulgogi. The staff was kind but not overly attentive or smothering. Food came out in an odd order. The pork dumplings first, then the beef platter then my shrimp dumplings like 5 minutes later. We were there about 15 min past closing and they hadn't brought the bill yet. Overall a nice experience!

Salma H.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! We were so happy to know that they are open on thanksgiving . The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Thank you so much for a beautiful night.

Yelp
This place is so cute inside and I love the way they serve their meals on the trays. My kimchi stew was delicious! Service was very fast and friendly plus I love that they explained their ban chan of the day. My only comment would be that their wine pour is a bit small for my liking and the pork belly in the dish was more of a garnish than a featured protein but I loved the tofu and lots of kimchi so it didn't bother me too much. I will definitely come back when I'm the area again!
google avatar

Kyleigh D.

Yelp
The best Korean food in providence! Their Bibimbap was absolutely delicious - as were the appetizers.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Service was amazing here, very attentive waiters and waitresses. We were seated super quickly, and though it got busy, we never had to worry about where our waiter was. The spicy chicken stir fry with udon was interesting, the chicken came fried and there was some curry in the udon sauce, but honestly with the spice and flavor the additional curry flavor wasn't really necessary. The pork ssams (or wraps) were really a hit! What a cool, fun concept and delicious way to enjoy your food. You got your own individual tray with your own banchans (appetizers) and soup. The banchans matched the dish flavor profile. You could get refills of these as well, which we needed for the wraps. The kimchi, radish went so well with the wraps. We tried to appetizers - edamame and pajeon. You get so much pajeon and seafood inside!it looked like we were served almost 2 pancakes!! The tables for 2 are a bit small, so when you have two trays on them, it looks crowded, but there's still space for your meal. Overall a beautiful dinner, presented well, tasted delicious, and lovely, clean restaurant.

Yelp
Best Korean food yet! Well designed and cozy place. Kids loved it (14/18). Perfect, and works late too!

Yelp
Who knew this place was right next to my work, I 've really been missing out. I got the Chicken Gang Jeong, it was so tasty. I had it for lunch and dinner that day, portions were huge. Will def be back

Antia P.

Yelp
I had a bibimbap craving and the place I usually go to is now closed. Mokban did not disappoint. Jehyun was very attentive. Everything was very good and flavorful. Do yourself a favor and ask for extra spicy kale. It's really pretty inside and they had light jazz playing in the background while I was eating. It was a really nice solo date. $3.50 for a canned soda is a bit insane but that's inflation for you.
google avatar

Lexie L.

Yelp
When a friend suggested we go here for dinner I was worried I wouldn't have anything to eat. Luckily they have a separate menu which outlines vegan and GF options (there are many of each but only 2 or 3 what overlap both). Our server was friendly and helpful and the food was so good. I'm very much looking forward to going back!

Lauren P.

Yelp
I was craving a Korean meal on a rainy day and was not at all disappointed by my meal here!!! Not only are there an abundance of amazing things to choose from but all were delicious. The grilled mushroom ssaam was very flavorful and loved the different banchan that came with the dish compared to the other dishes. Kimchi was very good! Crunchy and flavorful. The soybean ramen (and tofu version of it) hasn't had any reviews on here as far as I know so I took a risk to try it. It was wayyyy better than some restaurants that advertise themselves as ramen restaurants! The broth was so flavorful, a little salty but I love that in a broth. The noodles were well cooked, not over or under cooked! Absolutely an amazing choice more people need to try!!! Highly recommend checking this out (if you can find parking around here :p )

Yelp
Visited Providence for the weekend and decided on this place for lunch. Turned out to be an amazing decision. It's very cute inside. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I ordered the KFC wings to start, and they were fantastic. Not too spicy which was nice. I got the pork katsu as my main, and this blew me away. At first, the fried crispy outside being soaked in sauce was a little disappointing, but after eating it didn't matter. The sauce is the die for. Hands down one of the best things I have eaten in a long time. Sweet and sour, it's so complex and flavorful. The accompanying sides were also nice and fresh to balance the heavier fried pork. Surprisingly the seafood soup was something I found myself wanting more of despite it looking unassuming. Everything has flavor but isn't overdone. Simple and great to eat. I only wished I lived closer so I could keep coming back to try their other dishes.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I do not live here and was just visiting for an event. We stopped by for dinner and if was the best choice we could have made. The place is so cute and calm. There was jazz placing and candles lit at all the tables. It was such a chill vibe and a great start to dinner. The food was delicious and the portions are healthily sized. I love the rotating side dishes as well and the staff were so nice. I will be dreaming of the braised pork belly and japchae on my flight home. Sad I could only go once but if my stay was longer I'd be here everyday! (: Stop in for dinner you won't regret it!
google avatar

Jamie A.

Yelp
Food was good! I enjoy how they offer sides to my meals. The atmosphere was quiet and calm for a Wednesday evening meal. For have very few guests, it did take a while for our orders to be taken but it was ok as soon as I got my food. The area around the restaurant, no fault to them, has gotten sketchy and I advise to be careful of your surrounds.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is spacious with interesting decor. I got the spicy Korean beef stew (yukgaejang). It wasn't anything special. It had button mushrooms, which I've never had before in this dish. The soup was decent but it tasted like ramen powder rather than having depth of flavor. In contrast, I thought the army stew (budaejjigae) that my family got had a much more rich and tasty soup. We didn't think the side dishes were anything special. I also got a pomegranate shaved ice soju drinnk. The shaved ice was more like a snow cone with little chunks of ice rather than smooth ice shavings, so rather than being like a slushie, the ice gradually melted into the drink. It was still yummy, just not what I was expecting. Overall I think this is a pretty solid option with a good variety of Korean dishes. I'm not sure if I would choose to come back here since it wasn't particularly notable.

Yelp
Love the aesthetic. Food was delicious. My daughter loves Korean food and she was very impressed .

Seo Youn C.

Yelp
I misjudged Mokban as I originally thought this place was overrated and too sweet. I recently tried a few dishes including the spicy shredded beef soup, kimchi fried rice and tofu stir fry. The spicy shredded beef was the star the show. It was just spicy enough to hit the spot but not spicy enough to be enjoyable. It was spicy in that there was a lot of flavor beyond the capsaicin kick. The tofu was sweet but not saccharine and I would order it again. The kimchi fried rice was also good but quite standard so no complaints there.

Yelp
I've been pining for Kalbi ever since my army tour of duty in Korea ended in 1980. I returned to NH and there were no Korean restaurants within 100 miles. Mimsy and I were visiting Providence and when I saw this restaurant on yelp, I jumped at the chance. It was great. The Kalbi is just gorgeous. Very good service, great menu, nice ambiance, and they serve Soju in those little bottles. My son-in-law was with us and was recently stationed in Korea and he said the food was spot on as well. Mimsy had bibimbap and loved it. Lily had their signature ramen and loved it too. One thing, though, if you go there, you better get those KFC wings. If you don't, I will find you and whip a taekwondo on your ass. Just magnificent!

Yelp
Now. This beef bulgogi was absolutely DELICIOUS. It has to be one of my favorite dishes alongside the limo h fried rice (not pictured) but omg omg both of these dishes combined???? Unbelievable. The buligogi is cooked, marinated, and presented amazing. My favorite side dish 10/10 is the pickled radish like BRUH!! One thing to be aware is that YOU ARE GONNA WAIT SO DAMN LONG FOR THIS FOOD. We literally. Literally waited a whole freaking HOUR AND 30 MINUTES for this food. Yes there was dinner rush and they were understaffed, which is why I'm not counting it in my stared review! Definitely still recommend, so get an appetizer just in case you gotta wait lol
google avatar

Jenny-Rose K.

Yelp
This corner standout is absolutely worth the drop in. The waitresses are super attentive, but not pushy, they have information about each dishes that are actually helpful based on your tastes and they are allergy sensitive! My absolute favorite was the Korean Army Stew (listed as Kimchi Stew). They did this so well, and while it may not be entirely traditional with spam and rice cakes- It was incredible! Another top was the Stone Pot Bibimbop. this was perfect, and we loved all the mix ins and the sides. We also tried the Kalbi Short ribs which our friends loved and spicy edamame which was not my favorite. It was a dry spicy rub which I wasn't expecting. Overall this place has a great vibe and great food. The music isn't too loud so you can easily chat and it's great for groups!

Yelp
Wonderful, filling food. Knowledgeable staff. Spacious seating. Trays are a warming touch!

Yelp
It was my first time eating at Mokban and I was not disappointed! This is arguably better than the other Korean restaurant I recently went to in Boston. Their cocktails are quite tasty and unique, and so are their dishes! The kimchi tofu stew was absolutely fantastic! The portions were large but not too excessive, and the appetizers were more than enough to share between 4 people! The restaurant is also decorated nicely and has a modern, yet pleasant ambiance. Definitely 5/5 stars.

Yelp
I had a delicious tofu hotstone bibibap here. I love that more places are offering a veggie version of this delicious dish. The red sauce was really tasty and seemed like they made it in house. The dish came out on it's own tray and the presentation was beautiful. There were 8 people in my party and we each got individual trays with our own personal banchan. I had hoped for more traditional banchan like kitchen or fried tofu or fish but our 4 banchan were a small green salad, a couple slices of fast pickled cucumber, a chickpea... salad (?), and what I think was a cold hash brown. Even the existence of banchan was a nice addition so I can't complain that much about that. Everyone in my party essentially cleaned their plates, so I'm guessing everyone left with happy full bellies. This location has plenty of seating. They were able to accommodate our large party quickly and without reservations even though it was almost noon on a Friday. The food was pretty to look at and so good. I would definitely go back

Yelp
Located in downtown Providence, Mokban serves up delicious comfort cuisine. LOCATION: Easily accessible with many parking lots around. It's tucked away at a corner in a quiet street. The restaurant itself is very spacious with lots of seating! MENU: There are a few number of options from ramen, tofu soup or rice. Their drink menu is very extensive - there are a lots of soju options. FOOD: I ordered the beef bibimbap and my partner ordered the braised pork belly. Every dish came in a tray with soup, rice, and a few side dishes. The bibimbap came with edamame which was interesting and the first I've seen. The portion was small but just enough for me! SERVICE: The staff was very friendly and even though it was busy, they continued to check on us.

Yelp
Good food, timely service relatively inexpensive. Quick, easy and taste. Close to PPAC and numerous pubs.

Yelp
The Boston part of our group found this place for us to dine at prior to Waterfire and it was a superb choice! The tiered levels provided interesting table layout and ours was situated best - overlooking wall to ceiling windows. The hostess was so nice having fit us in there following our earlier in the day phone call. We ordered three appetizers to be shared by all. They were amazing. We selected the sweet chili dumplings, the chicken wings, and the scallion pancakes. I wanted to order them all again for my main meal! But no, I ordered the Chicken Gang Jeong. The main dishes were all served on a wooden tray with several small dishes of kimchi, chicken pea salad, rice and others I wasn't sure of! It was all delicious! Don't forget to order the soju! Plum was my favorite!! The service was friendly and professional. Excellent experience overall!

Yelp
Sad to say that this place has gone downhill. It was basically empty with little to no ambience. The tables were sticky and the bathrooms were gross, with just a half ass curtain separating them right from the kitchen. I brought visitors from out of town and was kind of embarrassed it's what I chose
