Moke's Coffee & Kitchen

Solid establishment to have a nice breakfast. They have lovely outside seating (no heating), which will be great for warmer days. The waffles were delicious and fairly priced. If compared to Off the Waffle, I'd chose this place instead everytime. Fast snd friendly service, bathroom was clean and they had a good menu selection.

I pass by this way often enough. So I stopped for a fresh cup of coffee. I ate a bit of a Waffle sample. The woman behind the counter was most professional. Welcoming in the extreme. Capable to the Nth Power. Gracious, happy and friendly. I will enjoy coffee here in the future.

My absolute favorite cafe in Eugene. Moke's is a local institution, and I highly recommend a visit for any lovers of affordable high quality coffee, food and beer. The friendly staff make for a very welcoming atmosphere, and they provide both indoor and outdoor seating. Moke's offers a great range of coffees and drinks, as well as a menu full of waffles, sandwiches, omelettes and tacos. I've only tried a few of their options and everything has been well worth it. One big thing that keeps me coming back is the alcoholic drinks. They keep a few beers and ciders on tap for dining in, and also sell cans and bottles in the store. Moke's consistently has some of the best options in town considering how few taps they actually have. If I have one complaint, it's that wait times can tend to be longer for food. It's a small cafe with a limited staff so really it's just a matter of how busy they are when you come in. Overall though I would highly recommend this, especially on weekdays when they're usually less busy.

They make the perfect cup of chai here. Had a breakfast taco and it was also delicious, hot, and freshly made. It’s a bit noisier than one would expect in here because it’s so small that the kitchen and coffee bar are only a few feet away from the tables. But I’ve spent some afternoons doing some work in a corner and it was quite comfy. Freezing in the summer when the a/c is on so bring layers.

Great place for coffee/breakfast! I got a lavender latte and their Blanca Taco, which both were delicious! I was a little dubious over spending $4.5 on one taco, but the flavor proved it to be worth it! My lavender latte was absolutely delicious and did not need any extra sweetening. You could properly taste the lavender in it, which is a must! I've been wanting to try this place for months, and now that I have I am very satisfied with the people(Mike is really nice and personable!), food, and coffee here! The interior is cozy, and the music playing is super fun. Definitely reccomend coming here for a quick bite, or sit and stay awhile!

I absolutely love this place. The staff, coffee, and tacos are all fantastic. Whenever I have Saturday plans in the neighborhood, I'm getting breakfast here. I suppose I should try more things on the menu, but I can't help but go with the same thing every time!

If you want waffles, you NEED to come here!!! Their waffles are super crisp and tasty :)

The food is really good and the servers are kind, but not once has my order been fully correct in the three times that I've visited. I even double check with the person at the service counter and my order will still come out with something off.

The service was so friendly and helpful. Easy parking too. The food was so incredible delicious. I have so many food allergies but this place I got the best meal!! I went 3 times in one week!

Coffee is amazing. One of Eugene's best! Food was mid. Overcooked eggs and not worth the shmoney. Waffle is ur best bet if you must eat here. Cute place tho :) Edit: chai is not good

super friendly staff. grilled cheese was super yummy. she said the chai tea was more spicy which isn't what i prefer so i just got green tea there's 5 tables, extra chairs, and seating outside pet friendly , someone had a dog in there

Came here for a light lunch with my partner. I got two breakfast tacos (one with eggs and potatoes, and one with eggs and soyrizo), and a golden chai latte. My partner got a breakfast sandwich that came with a sausage patty, egg, and pesto aioli. The staff were friendly. Food took a little while to come out, but we were in no hurry, so it was okay. The food itself was pretty good--the breakfast tacos are basic but tasty, although they benefitted from some hot sauce and ketchup. My partner's sandwich tasted good. The ambiance is nice--it was mostly full of students studying. It's a little funky (a little dirty) but I think it would be a great place to study, remote work, or have a laid-back coffee date.

If you don't want to be tempted by bacon, do NOT go here in the morning. Their breakfast food is on point! We went for coffee, we're going back for breakfast. Coffee is solid, but more importantly, the outrageous line moved quickly and it came out fast. The atmosphere (when crowded on a Saturday morning) is upbeat and comfortable with a lot of seating for a small space. Looking forward to going when the weather is nice because outside is set up well too. Quality gluten free options, and friendly service, it's worth the decent prices. Despite so many local options for coffee and food, they stand out and deserve return visits.

First things first, the breakfast tacos are good! They are fairly reasonable and taste yummy! And that's where the goodness ends. I've been here multiple times with my adult kid. We love the food! BUT!! The service is absolutely terrible. Nobody is ever in a rush. And everyone seems confused. Drinks take forever. And are often wrong. Today all of the tables were dirty. Get the tacos to go! But I'd stay away from dine in.

I came here to study and work for the day and decided it would be a great place to work at. The ambiance of the place is alright. We were greeted with angry customers and the poor workers were having to deal with that. I had to wait about 10 minutes to order when it was my turn in line to order. It was busy, but didn't seem that busy. I tried their most popular breakfast tacos and they weren't that amazing. It's definitely something you can make at home and doesn't have anything about it that stands out like crazy. It was a little expensive for what it was, and it could be seasoned better. The staff seems to be talking bad about the customers out loud though - noticeably about the lady who came in earlier to make a complaint. Doesn't seem to professional in my opinion, but it's a college town afterall.

I feel okay about this place. The service is always good, but the food is always just ok. I love that they leave samples out but even the samples are sometimes not worth the calories. I go back because it's convenient when I have to drop a package off at PakMail. Maybe I've just been ordering the wrong things. Parking is tough.

My vegan daughter picked this place for our one breakfast meal while visiting. The ambiance inside is nice, it's a popular place and our order taker was pretty cool. I asked what kind of animal the Moke mascot is and she thought it was some sort of sloth/Sasquatch character. Funny conversation. For breakfast, I had the Fantastic Four Tacos, my vegan daughter had the RBG sandwich and my other daughter had the the 9-5 savory waffle. For drinks we each had a different one including, a Lavender Latte, a Vanilla Latte, and a Caramel Latte. We all enjoyed our meals and I could've had more food for my money but everything was very good and flavorful. Moke's seems to have a big community involvement presence and that is a good way to do business. I will return here one day.

Really good food and coffee. And, the people working there were so nice. We had two breakfast tacos and a breakfast sandwich was basically an omelet with cheese on sourdough. When most places say "sourdough" it's really white bread. This place has really good and real sourdough. One of the tacos was the pulled pork one. It was very flavorful but it was a bit much and I will probably get a different one next time. Had a lavender latte which was superb.

Yum! I've driven by this place but have never stopped in. They have a pretty robust breakfast menu with interesting combinations. I ordered a golden chai (that's a chai with turmeric) and The Fran Leibowitz which is a sandwich that has a pastrami/egg scramble, cheese, Russian dressing, and hash browns. Both were delicious. They also had a sample of their gluten free waffles too which were so tasty! There were several items on the menu that I wanted to try so I'll definitely come back. Plenty of outdoor seating with shade, seating inside too but it was a bit cold for my taste. They also have off street parking which is a huge plus. Don't miss Moke's!

I really wanted to try Moke's because I was intrigued by their breakfast tacos. I ordered one of each as well as the Caffe Miel, which is a latte infused with Honey and cinnamon. The latte was delicious. The breakfast tacos were good but they were very similar to something I could have just prepared for myself at home. I wonder if they are better to eat on site rather than getting them to-go, which is what I did. This looks like a good spot to try some remote work at. Although there are not that many tables available inside, they do have a big outdoor seating area. I would love to come back on a nice day, sit outside, and try their lunch menu items. Based on their social media, it looks like they often do fundraisers for local charities where a portion of their profits gets donated. The next time they have one of these you should check them out!

Amazing food! Great gluten free options. The staff were incredibly sweet. We sat outside in the cool air after 5 days of camping so it was very refreshing. The inside is super cute. Coffee was delicious!!!

Very good. Long wait for simple breakfast tacos but the staff is short and they only have 2 electric burners. The food was fresh and hot and the salsa was delish. We'd come back even though the wait for 2 breakfast tacos was 30 mins.

Great food, gluten free option on everything, friendly staff! Was a bit surprised to find no line around the block given the other reviews and after eating here I'm even more surprised. Would definitely recommend and come back again when in town again.

The food and coffee were delicious. Sitting outside on a lovely Sunday morning was fabulous. I think they needed a third person working this morning to deliver food and clean up, but it was still an excellent experience. As we ate a couple walked buy and one said to the other, "I ate there right after it opened, and was underwhelmed." That person needs to give it another try, then. My partner's Moke's Classic tacos were delicious, and my 9-5 savory waffle was amazing.

Breakfast tacos. Cinnamon waffles. Great coffee. This place has it all! I recommend stopping by and visiting their outdoor patio, or hang in the cafe. The service is nice and friendly and the food variety is great. Check it out!

I did not know what to expect. I was only in town for a few days. But it was surprisingly good. Next time I'm in town I'll stop through again.

Great place to get a chai latte the way I want it. The friendly staff will adjust the spiciness and sweetness to your preference. I ordered the Blanco Taco for breakfast. It was light but satisfying, exactly what I needed after a weekend of eating too much.

Moke's just isn't what it used to be. Maybe the old employees don't work there anymore, or I just haven't gone on the days they're there, but both coffee and food used to be much better. My vanilla latte was just okay, and came in the wrong size. I added more sugar when I got home. I went home because I also ordered an Obi Wan sandwich, which used to be fantastic, but today I was handed the sandwich with untoasted bread and unmelted cheese. I grilled it myself since a bit of a rush had built up, and I felt bad asking. This is the second time I've gone in a few months, and I used to be a more regular customer. I don't really see myself coming back. There is definitely better food and coffee in the area!

Fantastic coffee, and my son a notoriously choosey eater and drinker proclaims best hot chocolate ever! The staff is super friendly, the space sparkling clean, and inviting. We live in Portland, and will definitely be making returns to Moke's when in town.

Incredible food!! I'm gluten free, and so are they! They seriously need to package and sell their waffles retail. I'm OBSESSED. And their breakfast tacos and coffee are equally incredible.

It was one of those Sunday hangover days where you need a solid breakfast to recover and recharge. We couldn't stand the wait for Brail's so what to do? A quick Yelp search identified Moke's and it hit the spot. We all ordered omelets and without exception they were very good. The mocha I ordered was also very tasty and well-prepared. They lose a star because they only offered waffles (good but no pancakes?) and there were no pastries available. Service was friendly and food came out fast. And there was no wait for a table! Definitely a good alternative to more popular breakfast spots.

Easily the best breakfast sandwich in eugene. no matter the day i am always greeted with friendly hellos and thank you's. Don't think they know of bad music, constantly a good vibe in here. also a huge plus that they're next door to a phenomenal bottle shop, which you can enjoy in here as well.

I really wanted to love this place. The food was great and the staff was super nice/hard working. My gripe is not with that but the actual business - obviously super understaffed to no fault of the workers and wait times for food on Mother's Day were abysmal (30 minutes for tacos!!!) I may return if they employ more people but until then, sadly will not be back.

This is a fine place to pick up a quick latte on your way to work, but not the place to sit down with a laptop or book, or even a friend. No public restroom, no public WiFi, and the high volume of their music makes it difficult to focus or have a conversation. They might as well just be a drive-thru.

The price of tacos used to be 2 for like 8 bucks and now it's one taco for eight dollar. They've switched to home fries instead of hash browns. It was a decent taste but it had about half an egg and like a couple pieces of potato. After a twenty minute wait for a couple of very simple tacos and listening to the kids behind the counter complaining about having to work the food was way over priced and underwhelming. Disappointed this place used to be bomb now it sucks.

A nice, classic, flavorful roast with subtle hints of spice. A funky, youthful urban vibe atmosphere with lots of plants. Inventive breakfast sandwiches, omelettes and tacos. We were there on leisurely Saturday morning. As we were the only ones who chose to sit inside to dine, I began to look around. Every houseplant in there was in such drastic need of water, I had to restrain myself from watering them. Eventually, it felt like having breakfast on the set of a houseplant snuff film. If the proprietors are reading this, here is what you do: Tuesdays, is plant watering day. Put it on a to do list and mark it off. I would also consider adding some muffins to the menu. Breakfast was great and I would return. I will be the one carrying a plant mister.

I love Moke's! New place--looks like they're "soft launching" at a well-metered pace. Friendly service. I've only had their coffee (though the food smells delicious), but both the mocha and the americano were excellent! I hope they do well there as I'm excited to have an alternative to Vero in the neighborhood.

Just went in and ordered, was pleasantly surprised! The RGB and Moke's Classic Tacos are soooo tasty, and the man at the counter was very kind! Y'all should think about putting a phone # up so I can order that sandwich on the run! Thanks guys!!!

What a great place! The staff was very friendly and very informative about their menu. Their coffee is delicious and they have quite a few unique options if you want to branch out for something local!! Their breakfast tacos are ! I recommend getting a few as they're a bit small but they pack one heck of a punch for flavor! So delicious! Worth a visit!
