The 11 Best Restaurants In New Malden - London - The Infatuation

"A relaxed neighbourhood restaurant on Kingston Road, Moksha serves some top-tier Indian classics. The starters, from the refreshing citrussy paani puri to the hefty samosas, are so good that you’ll be tempted to fill up on more of the aloo papadi chaat before your mains arrive. But the meat thali requires stomach space, and the ability to share when whoever you’re with inevitably stretches their hand out for a bite of your old Delhi-style chicken curry. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, plus halal meat, and friendly service from the moment you step inside to when you ask them to pack up leftover prawn biryani." - rianne shlebak, heidi lauth beasley, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Moksha in New Malden is one of those places that just feels right the moment you step in. It’s warm, welcoming, and has that homely atmosphere you can’t fake. The space is bright, clean, and inviting, with gentle Indian music in the background that instantly makes you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere safe and familia like walking through the warm streets of India on a calm evening. The food here is something special. It’s authentic the kind of cooking that takes me straight back to my childhood. Having grown up in an Indian household, I know the difference, and this is the real thing. No overly sweet sauces or shortcuts, just beautifully balanced flavours that taste like home. Every visit has been better than the last, which is saying something because my first meal here already had me hooked. It’s lovely to see so many local faces filling the restaurant, you can tell from the smiles and the conversations that it never disappoints. The prices are very fair for the quality, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Even the little details, like spotless amenities, show the care they put into everything. For me, Moksha is more than just a restaurant, it’s a place I can go with my partner when I want comfort, connection, and food made with heart. A well-earned five stars.

We had a lovely dinner, spice level excellent, flavors wonderful, hot Indian tea very aromatic. They even thought about warming the plates! Not to mention hot towel afterwards! Overall excellent dining experience!

Hi there. This restaurant has an excellent atmosphere with many friendly waiters. The setting is nice and the lighting is perfect; the food was very good and it came in a good amount of time, not too long or short of a wait time between each course. Their menu has lots of variety (they even had a choice of deer). I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in trying different foods! I hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did.

Really good Indian food, quite authentic. We had chicken schezwan fried rice, chicken chilly, chicken chettinad and naans. Would definitely love to come back.

We experienced a fantastic array of culinary delights at Moksha today. Every dish was an exploration of Indian spices, used to work together, to enhance the taste of very fresh ingredients. Very light biryani, Gobi 65 becoming a new favourite, lamb shank so tender it melted in the mouth. We received a very warm welcome, all staff were highly professional, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It was a joy. This may have been our first time eating in Moksha, but it will not be our last. 5*, highly recommended. Thank you.

Top quality Indian cuisine in a nice corner of New Malden. Good variety, taste and presentation are great. Service is warm and efficient and excellent recommendations. The vegetarian fare is good and so are non veg options - the Lamb kebab was delicious and filling! The veg thali was hearty and delicious. Went Weekday night and not too busy so ample seating and lot of covers. Limited parking right at the front and seemed buzzing with takeaways

🌟 5-Star Review for Moksha Hotel, UK 🇬🇧🍛 Being away from India, I was really missing the taste of home - the spices, the warmth, the comfort food. Then I discovered Moksha Hotel, and let me tell you… it truly hit the soul. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. Fahim, who served us, went above and beyond - his hospitality and customer service were top-notch, and he made us feel genuinely cared for. But the real star? The food. Every bite felt like a return to home-cooked Indian meals - authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The chef is absolutely amazing - their attention to detail and taste is just next level. You can tell it's cooked with love and passion. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and attentive. If you're craving real Indian food in the UK, this is the place. Moksha doesn’t just serve meals - they serve memories. ❤️ Highly recommend! A must-visit for anyone missing Indian food or just craving something truly satisfying. 🌶️🥘🙏

5 stars all around. From the minute my partner and I walked in, and we came fairly late for an impromptu dinner, they couldn’t be more hospitable and welcoming. I told them exactly what I wanted, keema like my mum makes it with roti and samosa chat and laal mass and daal and all were made so beautifully, so authentic to home cooking and actually Indian cuisine. The chef personally came out to take our order and greet us! The waiters were so friendly and attentive. Lovely little find and will now be our local. Thank you for a lovely meal and evening. 🙏
