"One of the newest additions for Spanish cuisine in DC is Mola. The space here feels bright and cheery, albeit a bit cramped, and it seems to have taken hold as a go-to neighborhood spot for Mount Pleasant. Menu highlights include an extensive sherry list, paellas, and spicy patatas bravas." - Tim Ebner

Really outstanding restaurant. It's honestly the only place I've been that treated Spanish food as a cuisine instead of just "tapas". Their menu includes numerous authentic, and many inspired dishes that combine multiple flavors into a very balanced and fulfilling experience. It's easy for a restaurant to get savory, sweet, bitter, and other palettes right. It's much more difficult to combine or contrast flavors, and even more difficult to match them and bring the dish to the next level. That's what this food is, next level. It has been a consistently positive experience every time we come. The service is attentive and warm. The atmosphere, welcoming and restrained. It's a small place, but it's easy to get lost and let the hours go by. Their regular menu is reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the food you receive and their happy hour is a steal. Regardless of time or day, I'd recommend you to go and experience some of the best food, and best restaurants in the District.

This is a cozy and romantic feel while visiting Mola. It feels like you’re eating delicious Spanish food inside of an actual house. It beautiful decorated. I had the honey fried goat cheese and plums. Very rich and delicious. I enjoyed the Patatas Bravos with over easy eggs. The chili sauce was just the right addition to bring in the flavors of the fried potatoes and eggs.

One of my favorite spots in DC! Great value happy hour, extremely friendly and helpful staff, quaint interior and an awesome seasonal menu with dishes that remind me of the small modern local restaurants I frequented in Northern Spain (particularly influenced by Basque, Catalan, and Galician cuisine) They have Estrella Galicia on tap!!

Truly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had anywhere. Every item was a flavor journey and palate explosion. The owner Mickey is a wonderful host and our server Nicole was the best. Highlight was the sherry tasting experience. Please give thia place a try. You won't be disappointed.

One of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining at in DC. Service was impeccable. Not only was our server Jessica extremely professional and helpful when describing dishes I had never tried but the help she received from her colleague from the bar was awesome. Constant attention to customers, without being to intrusive. The food was spectacular. Everything we tried was amazing and fresh. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only complaint I had was I was not able to try the entire menu due to my stomach not being big enough! Will definitely be back to try more of the dishes. Oh and to top it off they received a bib gourmand! I have no affiliation to this place but highly recommend the community support Mola and the staff there. Almost forgot about the wine, 10/10 would buy another bottle. You will not be disappointed!

Went for unlimited tapas, which happens every Monday. I loved how organically the (very delicious) food came out to the buffet. The server/bartender was so friendly and funny and helpful. It felt like being at a friend's home. There was also live music! This was a great value and I highly recommend it.

Loved everything about this place. The decor is chic and charming, the menu is creative and well-balanced with lots of vegetarian options, and the service is excellent. We ordered four dishes, with help from the servers, and the timing and order of service were very thoughtful. The cauliflower, spinach ends, and eggplant were amazing, and the mackerel was less so but still tasty. I look forward to returning soon to try other menu items!

Intimate dining spot - great for a date. Nice decor and adequate light. Cocktails were good and well presented. The flamenquins were absolutely fantastic. The food was perfectly done, well proportioned and it was really fun to try it all and try something a little different. Highly recommend the eggplant dish - it's what the fish in fish and chips wishes it could be - Amazing! And the onions/pepper with it perfectly complemented it.
