"While Puebla-style mole is the star of this Zona Rio institution, Mexican breakfast classics make it a popular morning destination. The popular chilaquiles come in a variety of sauces, including mole poblano, and in regional variants like huevos motuleños or tarascos. The cinnamon-infused cafe de olla is a must." - Mario A. Cortez

Tried the 3 sauce enchiladas and it was great. Mole was a bit extra sweet, but others were delicious. Highly recommend the spice blend they serve at the start. That was very different and it added the perfect crunch to the food.

Highly recommend enchiladas (we picked cheese one with 3 sauces). I wish they had seafood option as well. Also, tried tres leche cake and it was ok.

Best Mole chicken enchiladas possibly in the world. One of Tijuana's best restaurants with incredibly sweet service and caring owners for decades. An absolute jem of a traditional restaurant.

My family and I visited La Casa Del Mole on Mother's day and there were no regrets! We failed to make a reservation ahead of time and ended up waiting about 15minutes to get seated. Not bad at all! The nice lady who was our server gave us impeccable customer service. She constantly checked on us and refilled our drinks. The food was delicious! They give you a complimentary stew/caldo when you order a main dish. It was amazing! Everyone was happy with their food. They have a chili flake mixed with sesame seeds and spices for your caldos, we loved it so much we ordered some to go! Highly recommend visiting this place, especially if you like mole!

I had the pork leg in mole. Delicious. I didn’t know what to expect, the ambiance and atmosphere is so nice, but we had to park down the street and walk. I assumed it was very busy but we sat right away. Everything was good, rice, beans, mole. Service tremendous. Loved everything about the place.

This is a classic Mexican restaurant with a beautiful fountain in the center of the building, It’s very pleasant to hear the water as you can dine next to it. This is a pretty large restaurant near a roundabout, they have parking on a side street next to the restaurant. They also have clean restrooms. The food and service are excellent. If you want genuine Mexican tasting food, this place is a good choice. It can be a challenge getting there during peak afternoon hours because of traffic and people parking on the side of the street. The food is well worth it!

This place is delicious and I would highly recommend it for breakfast! The chilaquiles were delicious and fresh! It was just the right amount of food as well, not too much, not too little. The coffee was dark and strong. Plus, the restaurant itself was beautiful, airy, and colorful. We went on a Tuesday morning, so it wasn't crowded at all. We will be coming back for sure!

Casa de Mole was one of the first places I ate at years ago with my now partner in life so it definitely has a special place in our hearts. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food on this trip over the border and only got the signs and some of the decorations. We went on a weekday evening for dinner and were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess and seated at a table. They have the most amazing (in my opinion) salsa that I often buy to take home. I don’t know what it is about it but I absolutely love it. They give you salsa and fresh tortilla chips when you are seated. They also bring over a chicken consomé bowl which is a nice touch. Tonight we tried the Poblano and Ranchero Moles and the Chipotle Crema Chicken. All dishes come with rice and beans and tortillas on the side. I think they will automatically come with corn tortillas if you don’t ask for the flour. All of the dishes were piping hot when they arrived at the table and they were all delicious. Service at the restaurant was outstanding as well. And yes, I did take a container of the salsa home with us.
