Since 1987, this family market-deli has served sausages from a handed-down recipe, hearty pastas, and sweets alongside pantry staples. Frequently recommended by local guides for casual, community-rooted Italian fare.

The gelato in the market side is amazing. So are the cannolis. They get a solid 5 stars for sure. We then had lunch in the deli side, had chicken Alfredo pasta my wife had pasta as well. It was good. Not amazing. But good. I’m going to have to go back and try the pizza / calzone with the homemade sausage. That apparently is supposed to be money. So I can’t give it 5 stars. I’m would still come back. Especially for the cannolis. Best I’ve had outside NY /Philly. I’d say they’re the best in Colorado.

Google
I’ve been coming here for 26 years. The food is consistently fresh and phenomenal. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I love the new marketplace. Hands-down, you wanna grab a quick lunch or have a romantic date night. This is the place to go. Make sure you save Room dessert. I’m pretty sure there’s an Italian grandma back there making it. 🤣🤣🤣

Google
Ally I think enhances the whole experience with her service. Everything about this place is on point and I have made it to the market part yet. Easily one of my be favs in the springs!!!

Google
This was actually my first time eating a genuine cannoli from a genuine mercato! The cannoli shells were so big, and the filling? Très magnifique!!! I was gonna save one for later, but I ate them both! Lol 😆 The young lady who took care of my order was VERY kind as well, but I forgot her name! Merci beaucoup !! 💖

Kristin Marie

Google
I was really impressed with the young staff being so friendly and courteous and helpful. It's hard to find good help these days but you found them! My eggplant sandwich was amazing, the meatball was good and to die for desserts.

Susan Taylor

Google
The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was amazing! The turtle cheese cake scrumptious!

Google
Great place for dinner! Nothing too fancy, but the food was phenomenal! Everything from the muffuletta sandwich to the lasagna, chicken Alfredo, and salads was delicious. Plus, the dessert is tasty! A canolli was a great way to end the meal. Check it out if you like classic Italian food!

Google
Incredible! Food is outstanding! A great variety with something for everyone. Sandwiches, pasta, soups and salad. The attached market is a fantastic way to round out your meal with gelato. Will absolutely be back.

Yelp
This is a great mom and pop Italian deli and market. It's clearly a well known establishment among the locals. They've picked a winner here! Both stores are immaculately clean, well lit and appealing. The food is inexpensive, well prepared and of good quality. Portions are large, always enough for lunch! Love the outdoor patio and their pet friendly atmosphere! ALL the staff seem invested in caring for their guests and making sure everything is perfect. We love the market, too! Great, homemade gelato, beautiful hostess gifts and unique kitchen gadgets! Great pricing there, too This is a winner for simple, great homemade meals! Thanks much! Bill

Yelp
Not good. Not horrible but kinda yuck nonetheless Pasta of the day was fettuccini, I upcharged for house made pasta which absolutely was not. Was a little pasty. The pesto was bland, considering the gobs they laid on, no flavor. My store bought is better. It also sat in 1/4" to 1/2" of oil. I left it, as shown Maybe a bad day there were plenty of patrons but I did not enjoy,

Yelp
This was a really cool mix of an Italian restaurant with a deli connected next door for all of your Italian food needs. The prices were fair and the food was fresh and authentic. You place your order at the register and pay, so this isn't a "sit down" restaurant, which I was ok with. They do, however, bring out your food when it's ready. I really enjoyed the pasta, as well as the gelato next door. They had a lot of Italian snacks and goods that were shipped straight from Italy there for purchase as well. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Only went to the market side and not the restaurant. We ordered a sandwich that was below average . Bread was very chewy . If they only toasted the bread slightly it would completely change the sandwich . Market has overinflated prices in my opinion. We tried very delicious blueberry lemon gelato . That was excellent. Good service . Casual ambience. Would visit again for the gelato. 4 stars for gelato !

Yelp
Been wanting to check out this spot and finally had the chance! I will say the service on the market side is great! They were very helpful and friendly. Cute place too on both sides. I will say the sandwich was very average. The bread was just chewy so you needed some force into your bite. The saving grace was the amazing gelato. Highly recommend going for a sweet treat. I would honestly give a warm sandwich a try too, I think the bread just needed to be toasted.

Yelp
Food: I love the varieties & authenticity of food here. Fresh pasta & bread made in the see through kitchen. Also, very reasonable prices. $4 gelato can selected up to two flavors. I suggested Strawberry as you can taste the real strawberry seeds in the well-blended & smooth texture. Service: Ordered at the counter, pay then wait. Within 5 mins food delivered to your table. Lovely staffs :) Ambiance: Typical Italian decor on the restaurant side, but the newer market side decors the wallpaper with nice Italian vibes. Sum up: My go to spot for authentic, deli eating Italian restaurant in CoS. Good values & authentic with same delicious consistency since I came here for at least 5 yrs and taste the same every times.

Yelp
Food was good, the sauce great! My husband got the muffuletta and loved it. The bread for the table looked great. I got the grilled grinder without cheese. Even with cheese I don't think it would have been great. More peppers and onions would have added a lot more flavor. What I really wanted was an entree but there were no gf options. The question for next time would be "is it made out of pasta from Italy?" My husband enjoyed a scoop of gelato. I got the chocolate torte. That was so good I almost licked the plate. Yum! We went to the grocery next door. They have several gf options and pasta from Italy. My dinner options are expanded! We will definitely be back! And more dinner parties!

Yelp
Mollica's is a great, locally-owned restaurant! It was popping during lunch hour, but I was able to get my food promptly after waiting in a little bit of a line. Recommend checking it out for a casual, laid-back atmosphere.

Yelp
I just picked up a grilled cheese (provolone) sandwich, on sourdough bread, for a quick bite to eat on my drive home. The bread was kinda dry and so, the sandwich was kinda bland. I probably should give them another shot as they do seem to have a unique variety of deli items.

Yelp
The BEST Italian market and deli in the Springs. Love the to go dinner items you can take home and make yourself. Authentic Italian products for sale, and everything tastes like it came straight out of your grandmothers kitchen . I've stopped by and got the red sauce, pasta, meatballs, and cheese a couple times and made dinner for the family and it was delicious. The cannolis are the best in town as well. We always take a couple boxes of them home. The staff are always very friendly, greet you at the door, and make sure you have everything you need. They know the products and always have good suggestions too. Stop by here!!! You absolutely won't regret it!

Yelp
AMAZING ITALIAN DELI. I wish we had something like this in Austin! I've been coming here with my family for years and while I was in town, I had to stop by and get some of my favorites. I kind of feel like people in Colorado Springs are taking advantage of the fact that they have this amazing deli there and don't even understand that it's like the Grail, the goat, the best. Family owned and operated. It's exactly what you expect from an Italian deli. All the sweets are the savories everything fresh made their market is amazing. I can't say enough. I wish I had one of these in Austin. I would be at it every day, love this place.

Yelp
The Alfredo pasta I ordered was very disappointing. I added chicken pieces. The chicken was tough to chew. The Alfredo had no flavor. I have loved the food here before. The music on the background was good. But maybe they changed Chefs? What happened Mollica's?
google avatar

Brandie C.

Yelp
I visit Colorado frequently and I've eaten here just about every time I've come. They are super delicious. So nice and they have such a great Italian ambience here. Like, I've never been to Italy or anything like that, but if I go or when I go, I would think they would have shops like Mollica's there! The minestrone soup is so good like so good! This veggie sandwiches on point. And whatever dressing they have on it like oil or whatever it is is so good. Service is good and they are really nice.

Yelp
I had Mollica's for the first time the day before yesterday and went back yesterday. Delicious! They have a gluten free roll which is nice, I have Celiac disease and cross contamination is my worst nightmare- they do a really good job at avoiding cross contamination. They clean the surface, roll is wrapped individually, they have their gloves on, it's nice to trust a delicious place to eat. Will return! Hot pastrami sandwich is a win for me, gluten free lemon tart was delicious as well! Thank you staff at Mollica's for taking cross contamination seriously!

Yelp
Ordered the full Hero and a 12' pizza to go...and was glad nobody was around to watch me destroy them both. The Sandy was solid and did all you want an Italian sandwich to do. The fresh bread was soft enough to enjoy but strong enough to hold all the toppings and house made Italian dressing. The pizza a classic style pepperoni. Integrity in the this crust even after a long ride and flavor for days. This is good pizza. I will be back to shop the market which looked so good with plenty of options and take another dive on this menu. Great people welcomed me and took care of things. Hard not to like a place like this. Nothing fancy and 5 stars all the way.

Kyle B.

Yelp
Who knew you could get such delicious Italian sandwiches and fresh deli meat here in Colorado Springs? They have a lovely grocery next-door. Local sodas, and beer available. Fresh espresso. And the desserts are to die for. I can't wait to try more options
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered Italian Beef; nope, got regular. Menu here is wrong, prices need updated. Beef was not flavored at all. Arby's French dip much more flavor. Not worth the price or drive. Pasta salad was very good.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
should have known when I was given a taste of spumoni gelato scraped off the side of the empty portion which was the size of the tip of my pinky nail that the sandwich's would be just as small. I'm italian from LA and my friend from Brooklyn and this was a horrible disappointment.

Bill I.

Yelp
I tried to go to Mollicas first, but I had to go through validation and other BS before I could pass a message, so I fell back and here I am in Yelp. Seems strange I would have to sign in to a restaurant to leave a message, but then again, maybe they don't want to listen to what I have to say. I purchased one of their take-home and cook "H/E Meat Lesagnas ($15.00)." One thin piece of pasta on the bottom, hamburger (un-spiced) another piece of lasagna, a drabble of sauce and a light passing of cheese. I admit I am not a regular customer, but their food used to be wonderful. Apparently not so much anymore. I usually don't complain, but my wife and I are in our 80's and this was not only disappointing, but it was a terrible meal. If Mollicas can't do better with their Italian meals, Maybe they should try Vegan. We won't be back and I suggest others reconsider

Yelp
Me and my girlfriend went for some lunch she got the Turkey sandwich with Dijon mustard meanwhile I got the hot mufaletta. She's not a big fan of spiced meat however the green chopped olives made her change her mind on the sand-which they also give you a small side of pasta salad. Both were really good and it's nice and quiet inside

Yelp
The ambiance and the staff are great. The portions are adequate for sharing as well. The Dairy Specials are all delicious.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing market. Dont miss the market in back its a separate door. Awesome gelato.

Yelp
Service & food authenticity and quality! Grew up with fresh made pasta and gravy (red sauce) folding my Italian ancestors and this was spot on! Meatballs were exceptional.

Yelp
Just stepped off the hill from The Garden of the God's and had lunch here. SOLID! Delicious, generous portions. And a canoli to die for!!
google avatar

Saxom M.

Yelp
I was honestly not expecting this place to be as good as it was. I have been to a few Italian markets around the U.S. and this place was one of the best. My family and I came on a Monday and it was a bit busy but we got our food very fast. The people were super friendly and very helpful. I order a lasagna my family order their sandwiches. Everything was amazing. Well seasoned, very fresh and so delicious. We got cannolis. They are as good as the ones we had in Boston. You should eat here!
google avatar

Meg L.

Yelp
Delicious and a quiet atmosphere. Loved the veggie red sauce! The salad was super fresh. And the cannoli for dessert made the experience perfect!
google avatar

Yelp
Great sandwiches and really cool market. Haven't had the chance to sit down inside and eat yet though.

Yelp
A family favorite, we went for a birthday lunch celebration! Old school subs that are killer. The service was also on point, just make sure you get there before the daily noon rush.
google avatar

Nathan K.

Yelp
Great place for a sandwich! Staff were friendly and sandwich came out quick. Would go again
google avatar

Kathi O.

Yelp
The absolute best deli in Colorado Springs! We love the take-home Italian pasta selection to make at home, the salads are always fresh and ample, and the bread is so good! If you like sandwiches they have a great selection, it's hard to choose sometimes (: We highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
We are very lucky to have a decent Italian deli in Colorado Springs. I enjoy their Italian deli sandwiches, and they also have a nice grocery store with hard-to-find Italian items. I like their house made sauces and frozen pastas. The dining room is a bit tired (looks like it was once a Denny's or something) but otherwise this is a fantastic spot. If you ever lived in a big city and missing having an Italian deli, this is as close as you'll get in the Springs.

Yelp
Stopped in yesterday for a quick bite to eat with my husband. We used to come in all the time for pepperoni or different deli meats, but some how we'd never thought to stay and eat a meal here. So we finally after all these years did, and we couldn't have been happier. Walking in I was kinda taken aback on how busy it was for a Wednesday afternoon. Not in a bad way, it's great to see a business thriving and a busy business means you picked the right joint. We both got subs, mine a veggie and my husband got the hero. Both subs came with a small portion of pasta salad. That pasta salad is not to be called a side, because it was a star! The flavor was so on point with it being herby and just the right amount of tangy. Now I can't wait to try the lasagna.

Grace S.

Yelp
Horrible. Gave my food to another table. Waited. Waited Late for meeting. No bread. Others orders came out. Still no bread. Deplorable

Yelp
This place came recommended so I was excited to eat here. At the register, where you order and pay immediately, I asked the young lady which pasta dish is popular and she said she loved the chicken Alfredo so I ordered that. It came with a side salad and I got the house Italian dressing. When the food came, I was surprised by how lack luster it was. The chicken on the pasta was dry. The Alfredo tasted flavorless and like it came from a can. This dish was very pale. Highly disappointed! The side salad was just as disappointing. Although the lettuce was fresh, the dressing was not good at all. Just very vinegary and lots of dried herbs. My group and I ate a few bites of our meals and left. As an Italian, I expected much better. I'd rather eat at an Olive Garden.

Joe G.

Yelp
I did a pick up order for a hot submarine sandwich and it was excellent and the service was superb. The sandwich was tasty and delightful and fresh.
google avatar

Rosario P.

Yelp
I forgot my lunch at home the other day and decided to walk here to pick up something to eat. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was surprised at how adorable it is inside. I am not sure what I was expecting but definitely not what I encountered. The deli is spacious inside and it has a pretty comfortable seating area. It has an extensive menu comprised of pizzas, sandwiches, salads and pasta of the day. And it has a little retail area with lots of italian goodies. they have regular soda but also italian sodas. Service isn't super friendly but friendly enough and space was clean. I will definitely be returning to eat at the location.

Cynthia D.

Yelp
I love all their food! I have gotten personal items and catering and it all worked out great! We need more stores like this.

Yelp
We stopped by on our way to back to Colorado Springs from Garden of the Gods. We are from out of town and we're looking for a good local place to try out and support. Our party of six tried the caprese salad, the Italian salad, a pastrami sub, the grilled grinder and a kids grilled cheese. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had great things to say. I loved the little Italian market and the olives were delicious. The employees were very helpful when ordering and during the meal, we were checked on a few times while eating. If we're ever in the area again we would definitely stop in again!

Gina M.

Yelp
Grinder Amazing. Cannoli amazing. Pasta salad and dressing amazing. We will definitely stop by again.

Gerry R.

Yelp
We had 3 item calzone, sausage and beef ravioli and chef salad. All were excellent. DoorDash delivered even earlier than we expected. Will definitely order from here again.
google avatar

Jamey B.

Yelp
We had several friends recommend Mollica's. Finally made it over and the food was perfect and the market style deli was the perfect environment. We will be back for lunch and supplies!
google avatar

Dee D.

Yelp
Gluten free options! I was in the area for business and searched gluten friendly dining for lunch. This little deli has gluten free bread and pasta. Ordered the caprese with GF bread. It came with a little spinach salad, dressing, a basket of GF bread that was pretty good. Order at the desk and take a seat, place gets busy so get there early. An obvious local favorite!

Sharon C.

Yelp
Delicious and casual. Friendly staff also. Great value for the price! We would definitely return the next time we are in town!

Yelp
I was planning a hike with my friends to Garden of the Gods and gave this place a call and ordered four Italian heroes. They were so friendly on the phone and had my order ready for me to pick up at 10am. I shoved the food in my hike pack and went along my way. When came time for eating, there was silence due to our ravenousness. The sandwiches were amazing. First, they were wrapped so well and tightly-- making them hike ready. The Italian dressing that came along was also just as wrapped in its mini container to ensure no spillage. The meat to bread ratio was perfect. Not too much bread or too little meat. Every thing was just right. The pasta salads that came with each sub was also a perfect touch to add to our hungry bellies. Come eat here!! It's so goooood and worth it

Matt G.

Yelp
Nice place...sandwiches were really good. Would come back. Need 85 characters and getting closer to 85.

Yelp
Mollica's has been my favorite Italian place for almost 20 years. I realized this today when I talk to the owner and his son is 21 now. The food hasn't changed in that time. Still hearty, meaty and delicious. My go tos are a chef salad with ranch, although all their homemade dressings are good, the Italian beef or the lasagna. My son had the kids pizza today and it was also so good. They don't skimp on fillings or toppings. The bread they have is so good. They also offer a variety of meats and cheeses to purchase in house as well as frozen and fresh dishes to take home and cook. Price point is a little higher BUT the food is that good. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here.

Yelp
Great, fresh, tasty food! Customer service was spot on. Greeted as soon as you walk thru front door

Yelp
6 Oct 23 - my husband and I met our ex daughter in law there for lunch at 11:30 pm. Although it was pretty crowded we managed to find a table after we ordered our lunch. I ordered a 8" hot roast beef sandwich with no green peppers but they did not put any white cheese in it like they used to. My husband ordered the 8" Hero and my ex daughter in law got a spinach salad. Our meals were great but the bread in my husband's Hero was so hard that he had a hard time biting into it. I think they forgot to warm up the bread. I really like this restaurant and we have eaten there several times and this is the first time we have had a problem with their bread.

Peggy K.

Yelp
Greet food. Will definitely be ordering from here more often. Way better than most of the other Italian restaurants in this town
