The Best Cafes in Montreal - Eater Montreal

"Located on a busy stretch of Wellington Street, this industrial-looking Pointe-St-Charles café-gelateria offers coffee from Montreal-based Zab and a wide selection of drinks, snacks, ice cream, and local merch. Mollo also opened a bakery just a few doors down in 2021." - Daniel Bromberg, Eater Staff

The Best Places to Eat and Drink in Pointe-St-Charles - Eater Montreal

"Found on a long stretch of Wellington Street, Mollo pours excellent espresso, with plenty of desserts available, as well. The pandemic forced this café to convert their seating space into a temporary market, thereby becoming a purveyor of local goods. Insider tip: the affogato is a real treat." - Daniel Bromberg

I went there to have my very first affogato, and it was delicious! I took the oreo/caramel gelato option. I also got an iced matcha latte, that was always very good.

My new favorite spot in Pointe Sainte Charles. Super cute place and merch, the service is perfect, and the food is insane! I had one of the best (portobello!) grilled cheese of my life, the coffee is great and they do their own pastries at their pastry shop 2 doors away. Perfect place for a sunny morning.

I am really happy to visit here! I can’t find easily a simple “chocolate scone” at cafes, and it was excellent. Beautiful golden colour, the edge is crisp, and buttery and flaky inside….LOVE IT! I had flat white. It’s also good. I was impressed the scone more than flat white. I want to try other scone next time! I felt the cafe is loved by neighborhood. People are smiling, and good vibes! There is getting beautiful sunlight.

One of the best coffee places in town for serious coffee lovers. A good selection of beans, and the baristas are top-notch. It's a hidden gem for coffee lovers.

It’s been a few years since I’ve discovered this gem near my house. Staff here is always so friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite coffee shops. Amazing oatmilk lattee, bright and cozy place to stay. Price came up to 7.05$ for a large oat milk latte, a bit pricey, but I’d rather support local coffee shops than a starbucks full of syrup.☕️

Good atmosphere and big portion of coffee for the price

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop right down the street from our Airbnb. Walked about 8 minutes. This place must be the only coffee spot in town with flavored coffee.

Yelp
Very lovely cafe. On fence between 4 and 5 stars and (barely) lean 4 stars. It's worth visiting. The place is very cute and they have delicious brownies (can't underscore this). They have a nice selection of coffees and other drinks. My friend had a latte and liked it. I had a chai latte which was ok. Our kids had hot chocolates which were beautifully presented but a bit on bitter side for kids (even with marshmallow fixings). More of an adult hot chocolate (without spiking). Wish they had more options for snacking on. Selection a bit limited. They also sell other products which are kind of cute. I bought a package of stylish re-usable straws - which my son is very excited about. Definitely a worthwhile staple of the PSC neighborhood!

Yelp
This place knows the area's history and provides to the community. They have both ends of the block on Wellington Street in the heart of the Point. When irish eyes are smiling. I go there daily one end I get freshly made coffee and at other end freshly baked bread not pre frozen. If your like me and love the smell of a kitchen or bakery. This is the place to go. Very nice owners and service staff that know what they doing. Best part of this Gem of a place is they give back to the community and they are mental health friendly. Douglas rooming house near by and they treated with respect. Nothing like some of the places in the Point that try to hide the fact they in the Point saint charles area and moved the line a bit and say welcome to Griffintown but no fooling us irish we know where the lines are . So to all you new commers Welcome to you all to the Point and have a great day

Yelp
A lovely coffeeshop in Pointe Saint Charles! A beautiful spacious and very clean inside. Plants are located everywhere, so you feel the freshness of the place. The staff are wonderfully nice. We got a cappuccino and a chai latte. Our barista gives a good attention to us asking if we want something else in our drinks. I would like to come back this summer to try their gelatos. The shop has a little boutique of selling condiments, cans of goods and clothing like t shirt, caps, hats and more. Definitely recommended!

Yelp
Not as good as their bakery steps away. Coffee is bitter and burned. Nice atmosphere but no free Wi-Fi as far as I could tell. It is but there are better places within walking distance.

Yelp
A M B I A N C E An adorable little café that just popped up on Wellington and Fortune! It is super tiny in there! There's a couple tables, but people were working with their laptops and notebooks so there wasn't any space for me to enjoy my coffee... I ended up taking my coffee to go. Around the shop you can buy plants (such a cool idea ), Eco-friendly coffee mugs (), chocolates , and t-shirts and other items with the shops logo on it. I grabbed my coffee and head out where there was a little bench for me to sit on and enjoy the sun += perfect Sunday morning! C L E A N L I N E S S This place is brand new! So everything is clean and crisp and organized! Wow! So modern. O V E R A L L Q U A L I T Y I had a great experience overall... But wished there was a little bit more room to sit. Next time I'll probably buy an eco-friendly coffee mug because they were adorable and we should all do our part to save the planet . C O S T Small latte: $4.00 I was able to pay using Apple Pay. W A I T T I M E S It was my first time here so I explored the store a little bit while I waited for my latte. P A R K I N G Street parking on Wellington and on nearby side streets. But anyone in PSC can walk. There is public transport that stops right in front! L O C A T I O N On Wellington and Fortune in Pointe St Charles.

Yelp
Finally a place that serves a proper vegan grilled cheese! Delicious sesame sourdough, peppers and onions and the local Montreal star Gusta cheese makes this grill cheese a total hit! I also loved their vegan scone and the delicious oat latte really hit my spot!
