Where to Eat Outside in Philly on Rainy Days | Eater Philly

"Reading Terminal Market pub Molly Malloy’s set up a dining area just outside the market on the section of Filbert Street that’s completely covered. It’s open during the day with breakfast, lunch, and brunch, plus beer, wine, and cocktails. Delivery is also an option." - Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme

Molly Malloy’s (Located inside Reading Terminal Market) 1136 Arch Street Philadelphia, PA 19107 Chili Honey Garlic Wings Philly Cheesesteak The wings were the perfect appetizers. There was a perfect ratio of heat and sweet. For the most part, I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak. For a small up charge, I added mushrooms, sautéed onions, and peppers. My only critique is that there wasn’t enough shaved steak. Otherwise, it was a great sandwich! Aside from the service, our server was very attentive. He even gave us directions to a site my girlfriend and I was planning to visit. #readingterminalmarket #philadelphiapa #phillycheesesteak #wings #philadelphia #pafoodie

Visited Philly for the annual Philadelphia Flower Show and stopped into the Reading Market afterwards for a bite to eat. My two girlfriends and I are familiar with this yearly ritual of trying to secure a location to sit down and enjoy a meal during the rush of visitors to the area. This year we found Molly Malloy's and inquired about a table. We were told 15 minutes and gave our name to the receptionist. A party of 4 was sat in a matter of minutes and in a short time we were lead to a high top corner table to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch. The open style pub is bustling with people everywhere and quite exciting. The staff is friendly and quick to please. We ordered standard food and drink and enjoyed it thoroughly. I got a cheese burger that had two patties perfectly prepared, a large portion of melted cheese pickles and crunchy chips as a side. One friend ordered the tomato grill cheese sandwich and devoured it. And my other friend had the burger as well and said her choice was perfect as well. We ordered sodas and water to drink and enjoyed each other's company. We chatted briefly with the table right next to us, they all had very positive things to say both about the food and experience in general. We will definitely head to this restaurant next year and look forward to possibly coming in another time or two!

Stopped in for Sunday brunch and enjoyed great food at reasonable prices in the middle of Reading Market. Our party of 6 was surprisingly seated immediately. Our server Amanda was attentive & very friendly. Had tvs so we could watch the football games. We had the harvest salad (soo good!), pancakes, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, egg biscuit sandwich, & chicken pot pie. The rosemary spritz was refreshing! Highly recommend if looking for a served meal or bar option while in the market.

I went for home made biscuits with honey butter and jam. It was very good. I barely finished one of the two biscuits, too large for me

Google
We had the Challah French Toast with turkey bacon, pancakes with sausage and split an order of biscuits! All of our food was fresh and delivered promptly to our table 5 stars!

Google
The woman working was quite grumpy. The wait was atrocious! And I mean atrocious - 30 minutes for two Philly cheesesteaks and some chips. They mixed up our orders, my husband wanted everything loaded on his and I wanted mine plain with cheese, meat and jalapeño and gluten free bun. They made them backwards but we didn’t dare complain and wait again. I just only ate part of mine. And then felt super hungry afterwards. I also didn’t want to complain because the woman was so grumpy. The chips were great. Google only asks about the table wait, so the table was actually fast to get. But the food order was the slowest I’ve ever had at a market ever!

Google
Best avocado toast I’ve had in a very long time and all for $10. Located in a common food area so can be busy and seats can be hard to find but if you arrive mid morning for breakfast it’s a great experience.

Google
Went here after the car show, to finally try one of their pop tarts and it was really good. Fluffy and full of flavor I had lemon meringue but I think they rotate flavors all the time, wish I could get one if each flavor. Reading Terminal is always busy but they move pretty fast here, and everything others ordered looked good. #dessert #food #poptart #dining

Yelp
Molly Molloy's was a great spot to socialize over cocktails and beers during a break from exploring the Reading Terminal Market. The restaurant is laid back and relaxing. The bartender was friendly, cheerful, and provided great service. We had the Watermelon Margarita, Nitro Cold Brew Martini, Cucumber Basil Mule, and the Sparkling Whiskey Lemonade. The drinks were refreshing, unique, and well balanced. Whenever I'm in town, this will definitely somewhere I stop for a few cocktails, to chill and relax.

Yelp
I recently swung by Molly Malloy's in Reading Terminal for a bite, and let me tell you about those chili, honey, garlic wings! Our waitress gave me the heads up that they packed a little heat, and she was spot on. They definitely had a kick, but I found them quite tasty. To wash it down, I opted for a local Pilsner called "Take a Ride on the Reading" - a fitting choice considering the location. The beer was crisp and refreshing, complementing the wings nicely. Overall, Molly Malloy's is a spot I'd recommend, but fair warning: if you're not into spicy food, you might want to skip the wings. There are plenty of other delicious options on the menu to explore.

Yelp
This place in Reading Terminal has the best cheesesteak I've had so far. The cheese inside really makes it super delicious and flavorful. The fries were perfectly crispy and soft inside. I also got the homemade biscuits because my friend was raving about them and they were scrumptious. I really enjoyed the jam with it. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that they had Asahi Super Dry beer here. It went really well with my food and I just really like Asahi super dry cause it's really the only beer I like.

Yelp
This has to be one of our favorite breakfast spots in Reading Terminal Market! The breakfast platter, breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, turkey sandwich, chicken fingers, fried chicken sandwich - you name it, it's all good! We love to come here on Saturday mornings to pick up the specialty poptart of the week too. It's a perfectly flaky pastry with a varying sweet or savory filling. In addition to the food, they have a great draft list, which also includes a nitro cold brew and a local kombucha. The wait staff never fails to disappoint either - they are so friendly and attentive, and we always leave happy!

Yelp
The best Egg & Cheese Biscuit (with Sausage) I've ever had. I'm completely surprised and delighted.

Yelp
This place was recommended but at first look I was skeptical. Located inside Reading Terminal market i still wasn't sold on how good the food could be but it was one a few places that had a morning wait so promising. I had the pancakes and an Old Cuban and my wife the avocado toast. Both our meals were awesome. The person who recommended this place was correct. Looks can be and we're deceiving. The server was good. She recommended the Old Cuban drink and it was very good. I would have had two but it was early. My wife really like the toast as the avocado tasted fresh like it was just picked. The pancakes were plentiful as the server advised. I couldn't finish them all in one sitting so I did it in two. The place is busy but the sounds of people is over powering where you can't communicate.

Yelp
Located inside Reading Market Terminal, they have their own dining section. I was immediately seated by I guess it was the owner. Plenty of space there and at the bar, with 3 tvs playing sports. I was hungry, and I'm still on the hunt for a good Philly sub. I got mine and opt for fries inside of chips for $2 surcharge. Although, the contents of my sub was good. I wasn't feeling the roll with rye seeds on it. My waiter was cool, and attentive. I'll come back to try their pot pies.
google avatar

Nia D.

Yelp
Never had them before and was in the mood for a cheesesteak so decided to get one to-go. Was a really good sized sub. I got mine with fried onions and mushrooms, which I always feel adds to the taste. It was really good, served hot, fresh, tasty and so filling. Would get a steak from here again and would tell others to try.

Yelp
We were in the area for a conference and came by here for our lunch break. It was busy, so we figured it must be a good spot! We were seated immediately upon arriving. After being sat, we waited at least 15 minutes to have water dropped off at our table, and then for a server to come by to take our order. We waited another 20 minutes to get our food, and the server never came by to check in with us or even refill our water. We could tell the server we had was more focused on a larger party, which left us being forgotten. Our server had spoken less than 10 words to us the entire time we dined there, and just didn't really seem to pay much attention to us. We also waited such a long time for the check to be brought to us after asking for it. What should have been a quick lunch turned into almost a 2 hour experience! The food is truly the saving grace, and the only reason this review is more than one star. The food was really good and made to order! The person who brought our food out (not our server because I guess that was really asking too much) was very nice too! We each got hand helds with fries and both items came as ordered. The service was horrible, and I would not advise coming here based on that alone. I think had we had a server that actually paid attention and acknowledged us more than once, we might have had a better experience, but unfortunately that was not the case. Seeing other reviews, I really think we had a one off experience, but nonetheless it was still a terrible one.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem in a massively bustling indoor food court. Great service and great food. They also had a lot of additional condiments if you're into that. Crowd was good and friendly. If you just want a beer to go that's also an option. I had the Cheesesteak as a non-local guy and thought it was phenomenal. Served hot with plenty of flavor. Didn't come too quick where I was worried if the meat had been sitting there, but came hot enough where I had to let it sit before in got into it. Beer selection is also top notch.

Yelp
Goooooood gosh that was most definitely the best egg n cheese biscuit I've ever had. And I'm the one to trust on that!! Everywhere I go I get egg n cheese biscuit. They're just SO good. And boy was that one the best about of everything!! So so so good

Yelp
We always stop here when we are at Reading Terminal. Solid cocktails and consistently good food. This time around, we got two cocktails and had the Homemade Pop Tart! Now hear me out ... Pop Tarts are amazing to begin with ... but HOMEMADE Pop Tarts?!? Yes, freaking, please. The special changes every Friday, and today's special (Friday, January 13) was Lemon Meringue. This Lemon Meringue Pop Tart was freaking delicious. Literally everything was homemade - and the Lemon Curd filling was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Wasn't overly sweet, or tart, and had perfect balance. The whole Tart was perfectly balanced and SUPER light. Also - did I mention it's HUGE? Note the picture for size. SO GOOD.

Yelp
This place has no reason to be as good as it is--but I'm glad it is. The old beer garden in RTM was a dive-y spot that was not welcoming at all. In fact, I continued to avoid it when Molly Malloy's took over. Then my husband got a Too Good To Go surprise bag from them on a lark. The delicious homemade pop tarts made us realize we need to check them out. Now, the market's full bar is also a destination for great food. I was excited to see that hey have a number of vegetarian and vegan options. I'm not either, but I have friends and family who eat vegan. Breakfast is solid. My husband really likes their biscuits. There are those delicious pop tarts--way better than any mass-produced toaster pastry. They are huge, so plan to share. The crust is flaky and buttery. But can we talk about their mushroom "French dip" sandwich? SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! Oyster mushrooms cooked in magic, piled onto a Merzbacher's ciabatta roll, slathered with cashew-based vegan French onion dip, with a side of onion (jam? jus?). It explodes with flavor and is so satisfying that I didn't need the fries that came with it.

Yelp
Not the best service but its reading market and always busy. Food came out quickly and was great Positioned almost right in the middle one of the only places you can actually sit comfortably and have a drink and watch TV But the home made pop tart was special And the jelly was freshly made as well

Celia C.

Yelp
Ok, so I really wasn't sure what to expect. But the service was GREAT!!! Bartender is a great multitasker!!! And the drinks were delicious!!! We didn't try the food, but I will definitely go back and try the food. The music was on point and it was an over all great experience!
google avatar

Yelp
I came back to review Molly Malloy's individually! I left them a stellar review included with the Reading Terminal Market! I never leave the market without paying this place a visit OR this being the #1 reason why I stop in! They have beer-to-go and also a nice bar with great viewing. I always sit at the bar and feel at peace, whether it be for a drink or drink and a bite to eat. If you can't tell, my go-to is the Chicken Pot Pie and the Cherry Cider! If you grab a seat at the bar, ask for B, Justin, Audrey or Fred! They have a stellar staff, great atmosphere and some great music!! This is a spot definitely worth checking out! Cheers!

Kellie W.

Yelp
My husband & I were visiting from out of town and stopped here after 8 hours of walking around the city. The atmosphere was busy/crowded but our service was sooo fast! My guac BLT was amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious cheesesteak with seeded roll and cooper cheese, absolutely perfect and one of the best I've had in the area!!!
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
This was the first place visited while in the Reading Terminal Market. Located towards the back of the market from 10th St, this was one of the larger restaurants. Staff was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. For drinks, I ordered the #Adulting (guava IPA) and Sour Monkey (a sour beer); all brewed in PA. For food, I had a cheesesteak. This was probably my second cheesesteak ever, and my first ever in Philadelphia, and it came with a side of chips. It was very delicious! I had it with peppers and onions which I thought made it taste that much better. The sandwich was pretty big as well, so I was happy to share (reason why only half is in my picture). The menu also had several other food items as well as a cocktail list. If you're in the market for a drink and great food, definitely recommend checking it out. While you're in the area, highly recommend checking out all of the market for other fun surprises and great food!

Yelp
Stopped by the Reading Market on Tuesday, been here dozens of times over the years. Needed a sit-down place for lunch, not a counter in the middle of the hustle bustle. Opted for Molly Malloy's Kitchen & Bar. Got a nice quiet table. Lindsey A., our server, was perfect. She was kind and attentive, clearly in the upper 1 percent of servers in center city. Next time I dine here let's hope she is my server again. I wanted something light and healthy. Considering the fact my lunch companion just ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich I knew this would not be easy. Vegan Tahini Caesar Salad $9.00 This was a hand down 5 star salad. There is nothing this place could do to make it any better. It had tons of crunch, specifically from the croutons they added. The flavor from the tahini shown through. For $9.00 I got tons of delicious salad. When I'm back in Southern California at the Farmers Market (Fairfax and 3rd) I pay $15+ for a salad like this which is not as good. My lunch companion's chicken sandwich looked amazing. Clearly, I will be trying this on my next trip to Molly Malloy's.

Yelp
Came here for drinks, however their pop-tarts made me stay. Each week they have a new flavor, and I luckily got to try the Pumpkin filling with sea salt caramel on top. I got two (ate one there and one for my flight) I look forward to my next time in Philadelphia to come back and get surprised with their next flavor.

Yelp
Great beer right in the heart of the Terminal Market! They have seating and terrific beer as well as some basic food options available. We tried the food and it was very good, bar type food. It was quick and convenient. The Market here has a wide array of food choices so the opportunity to slow down and have a beer at Molly Malloy's was well appreciated.

Yelp
Took a quick trip to Philly with my husband. Wanted to bring home my son a cheesesteak ( to Maryland).I am originally from Philly so he has had Cheesesteaks from several other places, in Philly and AC. I checked out the reviews on all the steak sandwhich shops in Reading Terminal as our hotel was a few blocks away. Molly Malloy's had the best reviews. Brought him home a Cheesesteak with American Cheese and Fried Onions. He said it was the best Cheesesteak he has ever had.
google avatar

DNetta C.

Yelp
You cant beat Molly's all day breakfast. They make biscuits from scratch like ya mama's mama! Baseball sized! They also make homemade pop tarts with a new flavor each week! The waitresses dont bat an eye when you order a margarita at 9am with your pancakes! When you go, say hi to Claire!
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
Stopped into Molly Malloy's with my wife a few weeks back for a wedding for a drink. We enjoyed the atmosphere and history of the bar while ordering local beers we can't get back home. Service is very friendly which is a bonus - I'd definitely be back when I'm back in town
google avatar

Christian E.

Yelp
I was so happy the staff was nice and found room for my husband's scooter since everything is a tight fit when busy. All of the staff were great!! The drinks came out fast and were perfect!! The Philly cheesesteak & chicken pot pie were both AMAZING!!

Yelp
Our last night in Philly and we needed one more Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. We were at Reading Terminal Market and wondered who had the best Philly Cheesesteak, so pulled out the cell phone and found an article and Molly Malloy's was highly rated so we made a beeline for the eatery. We were seated immediately and our very cool server popped over to get our drink order. She brought the drinks right back to the table and took our order, not hard, one Philly Cheesesteak as they are 9 to 10 inches long, we decided to split the sandwich. She asked if we wanted to add any toppings, yep, throw it all on, peppers and mushrooms. The sandwich was out of the kitchen pretty quickly and we each took our half and sunk our teeth into this delicious piece of heaven. The cheese was melted, and somewhat hidden underneath all the peppers, mushrooms and extremely tender beef which was perfect. We have had sandwiches dripping in cheese sauce and this one was beef forward. Every bite was scrumptious. Once they were devoured and gone, we longed for more, which is a very good sign, we left wanting more of Molly Malloy's Philly Cheesesteak.
google avatar

Briana H.

Yelp
Good place to grab a beer in Reading Terminal! I wish we had realized earlier on that we could grab a beer here and walk around with it, you don't have to drink at the bar. They have a good variety of beer on tap and also do growlers.
google avatar

Sravya V.

Yelp
We stopped by Molly Malloy's at the Reading Terminal Market. We were doing a picnic brunch, so got a couple of sweet and savory things to go! Service was quick, and the food was pretty reasonably priced. We got: Roasted turkey sandwich - the bread was pretty good! only consideration in hindsight was that there was either too little sauce or the turkey was overcooked, because the sandwich felt a bit dry. Philly cheesesteak - we couldn't come to philly and not get a cheesesteak during the visit! This one was loaded with all the toppings and stuffed with meat and cheese, which subsequently made it a little hard to eat, but that was what we asked for. I would get this again! Challah French toast - a little sweeter than expected, but well cooked and enjoyable! We just wished there was more fruit, but it tasted good! Fries - They gave us a ton of fries, which were a mix of crisp and soft. The charred scallion aioli was very interesting.
google avatar

Justus J.

Yelp
I'll say that this experience was an average experience. The food was ok and the service was good. The setting is in a terminal so it's a busy space but it clam within the space. A good place to stop if you're in the area
google avatar

Shane J.

Yelp
Today is an updated S/O to Molly Mallory's on the continued and quality products they deliver to the customers! Today I wanted to bring friends from out of town to get a great breakfast! The portions are always sizable and the service was great! The drinks that accompanied our meal were just what we needed! We all took home a 'Pop Tart'! This filling was citrus flavored grapefruit...So Yummy! Keep Doing Your Thing Molly's & I'll Keep Coming Back For More!

Yelp
Cool restaurant for breakfast, lunch and late afternoon snack (with a beer). Beer list is full of craft beer from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Crispy Brussel Sprouts are awesome. Perfectly cooked, with bacon and crispy onions. A sweet, mustard sauce is the perfect topping. Locates in the picturesque Reading Station Market - a collection of bakeries, cheese shops, We spent an hour wandering around while waiting for our train to Chestnut Hill. If you can't find something you like here, you are just too damn picky.

Tony M.

Yelp
I had the chicken Philly sandwich that isn't on the menu and their fries. The fries were crispy and well fries. The chicken Philly had diced chicken cubes and was 12" long. Large sandwich and tasted outstanding. The service was good and again you can't go wrong with the Terminal Market atmosphere.
google avatar

Phylicia H.

Yelp
Came back this past weekend and tried their lunch menu for the first time. Everything was delicious, zero complaints, but my bf and I agreed breakfast menu is better! We ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts and it was incredible and addicting. Soft and had the perfect texture. The aioli was gold! I ordered the harvest salad w/chicken and it was full of flavor. A lot going on and is a very filling meal that will keep you satisfied for hours. Absolutely delicious! My bf ordered the Philly cheesesteak and loved it. The fries were especially good. Crispy and airy at the same time. I love everything about this place. Their drinks are also amazing. Went with a Bloody Mary this time and it was great. Eat at Molly Malloy's!
google avatar

Tari G.

Yelp
Ordered Turkey bacon recommended by the person working and the seasonal jam was the bomb Raspberry crispy potatoes and a soft fluffy biscuit made the experience worthwhile for sure!
google avatar

Renee V.

Yelp
The biscuits.... the taste of the south buttery flakiness. Home run with this! My daughters both had avocado toast and lived the fresh avocado.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Had a nice brunch experience here! This place is located inside Reading Terminal Market, so anywhere you can park close by and walk to the market is ideal! It's kind of open, there's seating inside and a bar in the middle. It wasn't too busy on a Monday morning - there was one waitress and she was working her butt off - she was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We didn't have to wait long for anything. They have a great selection here of breakfast and lunch items. Their menu boasts local items which is always great! I got the mushroom au jus sandwich and my partner got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which were both pretty good. Our side salads were fresh, but just alright. They make a pretty mean Bloody Mary! My favorite part of the meal was the homemade pop tart which changes flavors seasonally. All in all, a pretty good brunch experience! I'd come back for sure if visiting the market.
google avatar

Dani W.

Yelp
Loved the vibe! The staff really did well being inundated with floods of people on break from a major conference. The team was nimble and able to pivot to accommodate both larger groups and single diners. I went for my first Philly Cheesesteak. The meat was great bun was super soft but I felt like there should have been a little more melted cheese. I was only able to eat half and saved the other half for later. Great mainstay in the Reading Terminal

Elspeth K.

Yelp
Whoops, what happened to our cheese burgers? The pleasant waitress explained the burgers just came out we couldn't order to our taste for example well done, medium rare etc. this should have been a red flag. The cheese burgers were served with the usual fixings. However, they achieved a level of disgustingness not seen on a plate before! The piled high, two portioned burger patties were grey, wet/slimy and fowl tasting. They had never seen a griddle - no markings/browning. It was as if the patties had been dipped in a vat of boiling water! Simply disgusting and smelling. Honestly, chef. Get your act together.
google avatar

Morgan H.

Yelp
Located inside of the Reading Terminal Market, this is a decent little restaurant/bar. If you don't want to fight for a table you can come here and be seated in their section, or sit at the bar. Ordered their Farmer's Platter w/ bacon. Pretty good food, but everything except for the eggs was obviously already cooked already and had been sitting around so the potatoes and bacon were cold. The biscuit might have been the star of the show, absolutely huge and was nice and flaky. Good breakfast spot if you're at the market, and I'd come back here for sure.
google avatar

Gloria E.

Yelp
Got a few biscuits and jam from here while a friend tried the chicken and fries. The biscuits were huge! And the jam was awesome on top. Didn't know the order game with two biscuits, too much for one person but good to share. Would try something else from here, when I'm a tad more hungry. Avocado toast was tasty as well.
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
Good beer! Fast service, especially on a chaotic market day. The turkey sandwich with avocado was awesome. All of the ingredients were fresh. It was a nice place to take a break from direct chaos of the market and just people watch.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
They "accidentally" voided the order. I checked on it 3 times, and it wasn't until the 3rd time they told me what had happened. As a result, it took 26 minutes for our food to come out.
google avatar

Klara C.

Yelp
Cool Bar area with plenty of seating in the bar. Large beer menu and a good food menu as well. We just stopped by for a beer. Reading Terminal Market has street parking outside and plenty of parking garage surrounding. Friendly staff and good prices. We ordered a French Toast Bites Ale [16 oz] for $7. Super delicious beer by Yards Brewing Company. Tastes like maple syrup and a great flavor although a little flat. Enjoyed our brief stop here and would come back back explore the food menu. Decent prices as well. Bar area and dining area too.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
A bar right in the back of the market! We had sparking and a draft beer and it was a nice way to just relax. The bartender was decent and served us quickly. You can get food here too!
google avatar

Jade S.

Yelp
First thing that caught my eye was the biscuits in the window. I was starving for breakfast and I had to have one. Then I realize it was a restaurant with its own seating area so! I got a table for myself and some friends. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. My elderflower French 75 was very tasty and refreshing. I was hesitant to try the Irish potato pop tart but I ended up enjoying it! So did my friends. The farmers platter was so good! Everything was freshly prepared and the sausage was delicious. This place was a very nice surprise! Next time I go to Philly, I'll be sure to stop by.

Stephen B.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to sit down in the Reading Terminal Market for our dinner. Found this place. We all had the Philly cheesesteak. It was very good. Had both the fries and chips. Can recommend both. Jordan was our server. He was very friendly and helpful. Definitely an asset for the restaurant. Stop here and enjoy!
google avatar

Kyle B.

Yelp
Made a stop here strictly for the pop tarts. Unfortunately, by the time I got there there was only one flavor left. Matcha lime. Still, it was very good and made me motivated to come back and try other flavors in the future. They're not the cheapest at almost $7 apiece, but don't let that stop you from giving them a shot.

Yelp
We had such a good experience at lunch here, that we returned the next day for breakfast. For lunch we had the BLT salad and the chicken pot pie. The pot pie was so delicious - with a light crust - and it was the perfect portion size. We had excellent service from Lindsay and we loved the great location for people watching. For breakfast, we had yummy Bloody Mary's, avocado toast and the guac BLT. Again the perfect portion size for both. Claire was our very friendly and awesome server - so happy and so friendly.

Yelp
Came here for lunch today instead of Iron Hill Brewery with my friend. We had a very nice meal. After showing our vax cards and ID, we were advised to sit where we wanted in the sparsely populated restaurant inside the Reading Terminal Market. We had gotten there right before the lunch rush so it was empty but as we ate it filled right up. I had something that piqued my interest on the drink menu - pineapple cider! I thought it would have more of a pineapple flavor, but it was quite refreshing. Since it was a 7% alcohol content, the pours were under than what the menu said for the price but our waitress pointed this out before I agreed. I had a burger which came with homemade chips. The double burger with Cooper sharp, sauce, pickle, and lettuce hit the spot. Got it without the raw red onions. The brioche bun was a little on the hard side but good. The homemade chips were meh only because several in the bunch tasted too much like the oil they were fired in. My coworker got the chicken fingers with fries. She really liked the fries and said she's had better chicken. However, I finished one of the fingers for her and I thought it was excellent. It was not dried out and the breading was nice and crispy. Didn't try the fries. $42 with tax and tip for two entrées, a drink, and a soda. Service was friendly and attentive. Gotta love the RTM!
