"Moloko was a Clockwork Orange-inspired bar located on East 12th Street. It opened on Halloween in 2016 and seemed to have closed sometime last year. It was co-owned by Miguel Jimenez and Shusaku Shiroyama, who was relieved of his managing partner duties after a violent incident in January 2017." - Nadia Chaudhury

The Clockwork Orange reference is, at best, an inspiration on the color palette. However, the bar itself is cozy, different and serves up quality cocktails alongside an eclectic selection of vinyl tunes. There's no food on-site, but several good options nearby.

Great hole in the wall bar. Not too crowded so our group could hear each other. We talked with the bartender Rene for awhile and he made us some awesome drinks he created with mezcal and pineapple rum.

Great people, and great vibes. Very personal setting, with cheap drinks. Great place to stop by if exploring the east 12th st area.

A cut above the rest. I hear they're slashing prices. Watch out for the owner though, or he'll stick you with more than just the bill.
