"Jose Mendin and J’Adore Hospitality’s buzzy Parisian restaurant and lounge Moloko is coming to the U.S. and, of course, its first location is in Miami. Taking over the former Soul Tavern space just steps away from Mendin’s other restaurants in Sunset Harbour, Moloko will offer an Asian leaning menu — with dishes like lobster and uni tagliatelle, toro tartar tarte, and an assortment of fish and meats grilled on the robata grill — spearheaded by chef Daniel Roy in a sleek and vibe-y ambiance similar to its French counterpart." - Olee Fowler

I love the location. Atmosphere is 10 points. The best for me, that restaurant is not as busy (it means you have to hurry up, until you have an opportunity to get a table) and crowd is pretty good. Staff is friendly and nice. And the most important part is food. Something you must try is Veggie Fried rice. I was dreaming about it on the next day. I'm a big fan of Gyoza, must try it too. I would say everything on the table was delicious. They also have a huge cocktail selection, haven't tried yet, but looks pretty good. Miami Beach needs good cocktail bars. For sure gonna visit again. Love the place

We had dinner at Moloko last night and we loved it! Both interior and exterior are beautiful, soft lighting, clean design; very romantic backyard, great for a date night or a large groups of friends! Menu seemed a bit small yet food was delicious and service was great. Our waitress was adorable. Great experience!

This place is beautiful. I love the greenery ambiance. Plenty of outdoor seating, in fact, I recommend to sit outside vs inside. Inside the music was loud. I went for dinner with friends. This place is sexy with an awesome music selection. This is the kind of vibe that's needed in Miami. The cocktails were very good and creative. The food is all sharable. Overall it was delicious. Lots of flavor, Asian American flare. I thought the rice was slightly salty, but still delicious.

New fave restaurant in Miami! Our waitress was amazing - patient and full of great recommendations. Everything we ordered was incredibly tasty. The wakomole and brioche were unique (maybe even better!) takes on classics. Lobster & uni pasta is a must. Pass on the Japanese cheesecake, it’s a dense version, not the airy/jiggly texture I was expecting. Can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu!

The restaurant is beautifully designed and has a great vibe. However, the food left much to be desired. Everything is very over priced and not as tasty. We had a couple of crudos and they were nothing special. The steak tartare was ok. We didn’t want to order more food since everything was way too overpriced and not worth it. In conclusion, it’s a cool restaurant with overpriced disappointing food.

Oh boy! Where should I start?! The worst dining experience ever. Period. Want to know the details? Keep reading. Came here b/c it was on Miami Spice. $60 per person. 1 appetizer, 1 main and 1 desert. Fair deal! Let’s do it. I ordered ceviche tacos and spicy tuna brioche for appetizer, steak tartare and lobster and uni tagliatelle for mains, Japanese cheesecake and chocolate pot de creme for deserts. If ordered separate would be $138. So $18 discount, well, I hoped they paired it well. One appetizer was delivered right away, like 5 minutes later, the other took 45 minutes after I complained to the waiter. Waiter apologized, said something about the chef. Finally tuna brioche arrived. Two small pieces of bread with tuna on top. 45 minutes?! But what stroked the most that mains arrived with appetizer. First appetizer one was still on a table, as I wanted to taste both at the same time. They apologized, took mains away, and I never saw them again. Waiter came back, apologized again and offered cocktails for free for the mistake. I refused, they still brought drinks. Oh well. Free is free. Waiting on the mains. 30 minutes later, nothing. Manager came to us and apologized, chef supposedly quit yesterday, they struggle to fulfill orders and she promised to make up for their fockups. Sure. They started to bring more appetizers. Not bad. They brought again ceviche tacos and spicy tuna brioche. What?! Ok. This time there were 3 tacos, not 2. So they cheat Miami spice menu and bring you less. Actually check reviews and appetizers do come in 3 pieces, so they do cheat on Miami spice with 2 pieces. Then they brought salmon truffle carpaccio, which was really good and wagyu tartare brioche - amazing. Some pasta dish was dropped as well. Did not taste great, I even did not understand what it was, later they told me it was lobster & uni tagliatelle. If so I did not taste any lobster. And it could not be worth $41. Ok. 45 minutes later I call the waiter again and ask where are the mains? I am over 2 hours at this place, I am hungry, and I want hot dishes. He left, 10 minutes later came the manager. “You were upgraded” she said. “I brought you so much food and you complain.” At this point I understood I won’t see my main dishes. I asked for receipt. To my surprise instead of 2 Miami spice menus, which I did not get, and 2 drinks, which should have been around $160, I got the bill for over $260! Free drinks were not free. Free appetizers were not free. $260 for bunch of cheap appetizers! Give me a break! I came to the manager and stated I won’t pay this bill. She made face that all appetizers were free. She went back to get new check, where she did not take 2 “free” drinks. I said I did not order another two drinks. I barely drink one. She started yelling at the waiter in French in front of other guests, which was extremely rude and I guess she lost her temper. She showed her attitude towards me, removed drinks, threw the check to me. 20% service fee?! Heck no. I ain’t paying it, tip is for great service. I did not receive good service. She was so angry at this point, I wish I recorded it. No matter what customer demands the manager should not lose her temper. She is the face of the restaurant, and it is not cheap restaurant. The face should not loose temper in front of customers. Once the bill was fixed, I gave her the card to pay, she almost broke the payment processor machine, crazy. What an attitude. Anyways, I paid $130 for this mess, which still wasn’t a great deal. Overall, the restaurant has great setting, food is good, but the attitude is out this world. Management is pathetic and I will definitely not coming back to the place that does not know how to deal with customers under pressure. Won’t come here again. And since chef quit - I understand why. Lease do not come to this mess.

Beautiful and sleek restaurant in Sunset Harbour. Outdoor garden is charming and inviting. Avoid the large round tables, the seat lounges and cushions are the most uncomfortable to eat. Food and drinks were pretty average, and service super slow and inattentive. Overpriced for the quality of F&B offered and the service catered. Was very much looking forward to trying MOLOKO but left me disappointed and hungry….
