Fresh and tasty food with many Japanese food options for an affordable price. We got the curry chicken katsu and a customised poke bowl and both dishes were delicious. On top of that, we couldn’t ask for a better service provided by Jessica who was really attentive and kind.

Terrible Online Ordering Experience Do not order from this place—at least not through their website. I placed an online order, which was outsourced to DoorDash for delivery. After a long wait, the driver falsely marked the order as delivered, but I never received it. I tried calling the driver, but he didn’t pick up. My issue is less with the driver and more with MomenTea. When I called them, they took ZERO responsibility for the failed delivery. DoorDash confirmed they refunded the payment to MomenTea, meaning only the restaurant could issue my refund. However, MomenTea refused, despite already being reimbursed by DoorDash. I won’t be ordering from here again!

So so good. I haven't had a poke bowl this satisfying in a while. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were perfect. The service was quick. This was a very satisfying quick and easy meal on the go.

Small indoor seating available, not really any big tables but some benches with some side tables. The cashier was nice and fast service. I was the only one in the store when I arrived, but I also arrived fairly early in the morning. The boba was fresh and squishy. The boba was really good not hard at all. The brown sugar milk tea was fresh. The taste was really good. I would come back here again if in the area. Prices seemed reasonable compared to shops in the area. Did not try the food so no opinion on that.

I've walked by Momen Tea several times and always assumed it was just a bubble tea shop before seeing their Poke bowl come up on MealPal. I ordered the tofu shiitake poke bowl and it was HUGE. A very hefty portion filled to the brim with rice and super fresh toppings. I really liked it, everything was flavorful and even the avocado was ripe (which can be rare). Only part I didn't love was the tofu. It was a little soggy and cold, with a sort of weird un-tofu like taste. Would recommend for a grab and go lunch! Not must seating inside, but no line at prime lunch time on a Wednesday. Service was fast and the man checking me out was courteous and helpful.

Customer service was incredible! Ordered a Medium Oreo Brown Sugar Milk Tea!!! Ice on the side in a large cup due to the heat in NYC. Will be back to try their sushi and poke bowl.

Visiting from California. Came here cuz it was recommended on Yelp. Ordered large Thai tea for $7 and there was barely any drink in there. I couldn't even punch my straw in because there was so much ice from top to bottom. I went back to complain but they said to ask for less ice next time and wouldn't make me a new one. The thing is I never asked for large ice cubes and how was I suppose to know they were going to do this to me. The amount of drink in there was not even a large or regular. Probably not even a small either. Other than that the drink tasted good. So one extra star for that.

This is definitely my daily restaurant. Great value and friendly staff. The sushi is always fresh made. I came frequently in summer for bobas too

TLDR - this place is great for the area which is lacking asian fare, and is ambitious with its large menu of authentic asian items, but you can probably find better versions of each of their items elsewhere. If you work in the area this is a great spot to check out. YUZU CITRUS SALMON POKE BOWL Not bad - I'm not sure they use sushi rice for this but it was nice, citrusy, sweet from the mango and the fish quality they use isn't bad at all. Pretty good flavors for a quick poke but nothing super authentic or dedicated to poke. GALAXY YOGURT DRINK This I actually really liked, their bubble tea is pretty on par for other bubble tea spots and they have cool interesting flavor combos so take advantage of that. The butterfly pea was nice and subtle and the yakult was that nice sweet tangy flavor that you know and love. TAIWANESE FRIED CHICKEN - a little dry, not super basily tasting and kinda small pieces (frittery) but enjoyable. Comes with spicy mayo. CHILI OIL WONTONS They do kind of a solid job with this, nicely decorated, the heat doesn't pack too big of a punch (get extra if you need) and it's definitely from a bag of frozen wontons but it comes out kind tasty especially with the chili oil and the filling amount isn't bad. Black sesame seeds on top are a nice touch. I'm really glad this area is providing a much needed asian food presence in Greenwich Village.

Ordered basic milk tea with boba and it was perfect! Super chewy boba and strong milk tea flavor. 5/5 would get again

Came there for the good reviews on the tea and I'm not sure I'd be coming back. Great atmosphere with good lighting, easy to read menus and a lot of seating (no tables) you order at the tablet when you walk in. Got the mango tea and a strawberry tea with cheese foam. And it took 10 + to get the drink and there was absolutely no one else in there before us or after us. Got the drink and it was blended... I asked about it and asked why it's blended and they say they bland their teas with ice.. would've been nice to be told that before ordering. I was expecting a tea not a blended drink. Got all drinks at 70% at it wasn't too sweet which was nice but it was really more on the tart side. Drinks weren't bad, just wasn't what I was expecting. The cheese foam for 50¢ more was def not worth it! It literally just tastes like whipped cream and not cheese foam. It sucks because I really wanted to like this place

We ordered ramen and some sushi. We waited 20min for an order that we expected to be fast. Ambiance is ok. The food is really bad. Never expect food from a restaurant in Manhattan that bad! The ramen is the worst I have ever had. The soup is clearly reconstituted from some white powder and not flavorful at all. The noodle is not ramen noodle, just standard white noodle. The pork is bad too, so is the bamboo shot pieces. We ordered sushi combo and tuna tartare. The fish is not fresh at all. Hopefully we will not get food poisoning as we felt some discomfort in our stomach after the meal! I strongly recommend against this place, especially for sushi and ramen and presumably anything from the kitchen.

Love the cute concept that MomenTea is going for here! Nestled right by the 14th street 1 train subway entrance, Momentea serves both boba, sushi, sushiritto, poke bowls, and a ton of different fruity flavored drinks. Was thinking for a casual spot for date night, and boy Momentea was right smack on my radar. Came here at 630pm on a Thursday night, restaurant wasn't too packed and we had prior reservations for the night. We ordered the following: Hawaiian special, moment special, a large matcha latte cheese foam, and I got the galaxy yogurt drink. AMBIANCE: As I mentioned previously, Momentea is a casual shop that happens to sell an assortment of fruity drinks, boba, and pokes. Store front isn't too big, but there are a few tables for one to sit down and eat. PROS: Love how fresh the food came out! For the moment special, I got mine on a bed of salad - salad was fresh, zesty, tangy, and the toppings that go on top really compliment the overall texture of the bowl. I really liked the spicy mayo that it came with, and the house vinegarette and soy sauce pairs really well with the fish in the bowl. She enjoyed her Hawaiian special and complimented how refreshing it is to eat. The drinks were spectacularly made. The matcha cheese foam tea was fantastic. Matcha flavor wasn't too overpowering, the milk and foam wasn't too chalky. I do wish though next time they don't mix in the foam, since some people would prefer drinking the tea and the cheese foam separately, but that's just a minor issue. The galaxy yogurt drink I got was spectacular as well! I loved how it sat on a bed of mango jelly, and the colors really give off a warm and welcoming vibe. You can also do full customization of the drinks in terms of sugar and sweetness level, as expected for any major boba player here. Last but not least the owner Katrina swung by and introduced the concept of the restaurant to us. She's such a sweet person, and shout outs to you for making our experience last night incredible! Looking forward to great things with your new restaurant businesses! OVERALL: Loved the concept, food, and drinks at Momentea. Its a pity that we didn't get to try everything else on the menu, but hey that's what a visit in the future is necessary for!

Let me tell you all about a place that's FRIENDLY So much so that if I was on facebook they'd FRIEND ME If I got attacked on Yelp Talk they'd DEFEND ME That's why I love getting Boba at MOMENTEA Before I tried boba here my life felt EMPTY So did my tummy even though I'd eaten PLENTY Hated Starbucks, even their Mocha Frappe VENTI But then my life changed when I came and tried MOMENTEA Got a job as a guard, official title SENTRY Rubbed shoulders with the rich, Baronesses and the GENTRY Stopped letting men do me for $ ("my butt's NO ENTRY!") All of this because I got Boba at MOMENTEA Now I'm gonna open all the fan mail that you SENT ME And throw out all the hate mail from the haters who RESENT ME Ignore all the gross requests from men who used to RENT ME Instead I will go and get more boba from MOMENTEA WHAT My notes said: Momentea.. Boo fruit, yay milk yum changed 50, very friendly both times, poke and honey lemon black next time. I'm as in the dark as you are about these notes, but I think it meant I hated the fruit green tea they persuaded me to get (but I hate most green teas), but loved the milk tea and that they changed a $50 for me and were very friendly. They sell Poke, which I haven't tried, and I did go back twice after this and got more great milk teas and amazing Lemon Black tea. Definitely one of my favourite bubble tea shops in New York City and I can't wait to come back to try some other fruity black teas. The first time they insisted that I try their fresh fruit drink and it's made with green tea and I didn't like it at all. Luckily I gave them another chance and I picked what I actually wanted which was to try their regular black milk tea which is absolutely spectacular and creamy and perfect and up there with the best boba in town such as Yi Fang, Moge, Mi Tea and Boba Guys. So I will definitely be back and I'm looking forward to it. A special mention to them because they are so incredibly friendly and they also changed a $50 bill for me which most people in lower Manhattan will absolutely not do. Parking is a nightmare here but I love it and will be bringing Barbie here at her earliest convenience. And she is pretty convenient in terms of, she's a nympho and I'm, well, you know. And my cats love it here too. Oh wait that's Meowmentea.

Came here after dinner for a quick dessert. Got the lavender milk tea with 50% sugar. I normally order half sugar at other bubble tea places. The tea here was a little on the sweeter side for me even though I halved the sugar. I should've asked for even less sugar in retrospect. Bubbles were perfectly soft and chewy. I didn't taste much lavender in my tea. Was able to take advantage of the outdoor seating spots which was pretty spacious.

Clear and neat bubble tea place. This store is split between a poke shop&bubble tea shop. What a great combo. I came in to order their rose matcha green tea latte. It tasted just like how it sound, they used fresh rose petals in the tea and high quality matcha powder. This is a very unique drink and if you are a fan of floral & matcha beverages, this is a match in heaven drink! highly recommend it.

Came here for late night boba, and it didn't disappoint! The boba balls weren't the chewiest, but the drinks were very yummy. You can order ahead using the kiosk, and the drinks came out quickly. They also have many other options like poke bowls! Overall, pretty good boba and a cute restaurant with plenty of indoor seating!

Although this place has Tea in the name and has a lot of great drinks, it's probably also the best Poke place in the neighborhood. They're very generous with the poke, the fish tastes fresh, and the prices are reasonable. There's not much seating, but if you don't mind eating outside, you can walk two short blocks down to the park at 12 St. and 7th Ave. or one short block down and one long block west to Jackson Square.

I like their poke bowls and sushi burritos and say for food they are 3.5/5 But the cashier charging me 3 extra proteins when I only asked for 1 extra is beyond shady I coulda argued it, but happened to have no energy to AND it shouldn't be my job to. It's not the customers job to correct shady business practices.

The drinks here are so delicious and unique!! I highly recommend coming by and trying out their extensive sweet drinks menu! I had a cheese tea with strawberry and it was amazing -- had a generous amount of real strawberry bits (so good, you could taste the little seeds). The foam layer on top was light and delicious, and the cream paired so well with the tart fruit. My friend had a red bean matcha with oat milk and oh man I will definitely come by again just to have more of that. They are really generous with the red bean and it is such a delicious combo. We had a great time catching up in this cute shop! It's a great place to linger. Come by for fresh sushi / poke, stay for the aesthetic dessert drinks!

Horrible service. We came 30 minutes before closing and ordered 4 different drinks on their self serve kiosk. We then found out very rudely from the cashier that they had run out of green tea and two of our drinks could not be made. They didn't offer us a refund or ask us if we wanted another drink so we had to ask if we could get a refund. When asked she replied in a very inpatient tone, "IF you want a refund I can try to give you a refund." Like of course we would like a refund if we aren't getting half of our drinks. Then when we tried to get the refund she told us she couldn't give us a partial refund so we had to cancel the entire order and reorder which wasn't super efficient. I understand places run out of inventory and that's totally fine, however I'm going to have to give this place a 1 because of the way the cashier treated us.

A god-send on a 90-degree day in the middle of a walk downtown. In an area where there are quite a few bubble tea places, I had my eye on this one for awhile, not just because they also serve a variety of poke bowls and sushi burritos. They have all the usual suspects to scratch the bubble tea itch (milk teas, fruit teas, fruit slushes, honey teas) and all the toppings as well. I went with the peach green tea and rainbow jelly, though I liked my husband's grapefruit with aloe chunks more. Maybe I was just really thirsty for something cold and sweet but I didn't get any sort of artificial sugar aftertaste that usually accompanies syrupy drinks. And you can also customize the sugar level - I went with 50%. I'm not sure if they go with 100% as a default if you don't say anything. The size was pretty substantial for around $6 per drink. Next time, I'd want to try their cheese foam drink (it definitely tastes better than it sounds) and food options.

I haven't tried the food here so I can only ascribe to the bubble tea... which was good. Bubble tea often falls into the unfortunate pitfalls of being too sugary/sweet/syrupy. Basic bubble tea formula is tea + concentrated syrup + tapioca. Yeah, my dentist has called me out on it. This bubble tea felt like a refreshing drink that limited any artificial flavors. I got the grapefruit bubble tea not knowing what to expect, and I was blown away. It had real slices of grapefruit in it and I didn't feel guilty for drinking it. I would definitely come back again!

Mango green tea with ice $5.50 which is embedded with pineapple bits that I did not request. One size large for all drinks. The pineapple bits were weird. The actual tea was okay. I prefer my choice of fruit tea without any toppings but only ice. Drink menu is posted on a large TV screen high above the checkout/ order counter and another on the counter. A loyalty punch card is available where the tenth purchase enables the user to earn a free drink. The loyalty punch card also serves as a business card. No comment on food as I did not intake any.

I really wanted to have a tea on this super hot day but because I was scheduled to be somewhere in the neighborhood I didn't make it on time to grab it at my "regular" tea place. I saw the ratings of MomenTea and decided to give it a shot. Full disclaimer I am avoiding powder tea places but it's not always easy to tell right away if they're one or not. Usually if you see few locals it's a hint.

I stumbled upon Momentea as I was walking up 7th Avenue. It's definitely become one of my favorite bubble tea places in Manhattan. Not only do they serve drinks, they also have a food section with a poke bar. Initially, I was super skeptical about having cheese in bubble tea, but this place has definitely changed my mind for the better. My favorite drink is the Blue Sky Latte - it's not too sweet and tastes great with rainbow jelly. They also have an almond milk alternative for this drink. I have also tried the Cheese Strawberry Green Tea. Despite being lactose intolerant, I tried a some of this drink and was pleasantly surprised. Initially, the drink has a great balance of cheese and sweetness from the tea. The strawberry green tea is quite refreshing and light. As you get to the bottom of the drink, the cheese gets to be a bit overwhelming in flavor. Overall, I think ordering drinks here with 50% sugar is the perfect amount. The service and offerings here are great! I would definitely recommend this place for refreshing drinks. I will be back to try the poke and other dishes!

We walked by this place a few times and so I decided to try it out while we had the chance. Service was friendly and the establishment is clean. SUPER FRUIT GREEN TEA I was expecting something fruity and sweet, but the fruits didn't add much flavor to the drink. The green tea was okay, just your every day simple green tea. When I started eating the fruits, they were not sweet at all and were very sour; so I'll pass on this drink next time. PEACH GREEN TEA This drink was too sweet. I was told they don't use artificial flavors, but they must've used a lot of sugar because I didn't like this drink at all. It tasted of dried peach that was brewed with green tea instead of fresh peaches. I won't be ordering this again. BEEF NOODLE SOUP This was the only thing that I liked at this establishment. I would come back to eat this again. The broth was sweet and had a hint of spice to it. The meat was tender and the bok choy added some freshness to the bowl of soup. I really liked the softness of the flat noodles. They were the perfect consistency. I wouldn't come back for the drinks, but I'll be back to try other food items if I'm in the area.

For a small place, I was extremely pleased. All of their ingredients are extremely fresh and they even make the sushi rolls in front of you after you order them. The noodles are a bit greasy but they have great flavor and are SO spicy (if you order a spicy dish). The sushi was great, no complaints. Come in group of six pieces per roll. They tasted and looked amazing. The bubble tea was really cute. I got a brown sugar bubble milk tea and it was delicious. I have also previously gotten a peach tea and they actually used real fruit which was nice to see. The spicy noodles were not as good as the sushi but I will be back!

Stopped by Thanksgiving afternoon and they were kindly open. The inside is divided between a counter for bubbles tea/the register and the side to make your own poke/bowls/sushi. There are about 4 tables with every other blocked off for social distancing. Staff was friendly and answered our questions. My friend got the passion fruit tea and I got the passion fruit party. Same base but the party comes with passion fruit jelly and boba. So refreshing! Overall cute little boba spot with great options! Will come back.

I was walking through NYC on a hot day a few weekends ago. I was in the mood for a nice refreshing cold drink. I passed by MomenTea & they were advertising iced teas so I decided to stop in because it looked really cute from the outside. The place is overall really clean and it looks like there's a lot of options for food & drink! But I had already eaten at the VegFoodFest around the corner. The guy at the cash register was helpful in helping me pick an iced tea. I told him I was in the mood for something sweet & fruit so he recommended the mango green tea to me. When it came out it was really cute! I had FRESH pieces of mango in my drink! WOW! I'm not into the floral-tasting green teas and this was one sadly. So if you don't like floral tasting teas, do not get a green tea. But I'm not letting that affect my review because I should have asked ahead of time about the type of green tea they use. I drank it anyway & it was really refreshing. BIG PLUS for using REAL MANGO!

I've been here a number of times. It's a great casual place to grab a bubble tea and one of the better poke places in the neighborhood. I've tried a number of the teas (every one has been good and sizes are pretty big). Of course, the teas also look visually nice and make for great pictures. Even though the teas seem to get the most attention, the poke is great too. Portions are very generous and the flavors are fresh. There are a lot of options and the prices are inexpensive. The staff is sometimes friendly, sometimes not. It depends on who you get. There isn't a lot of seating but unless there is a parade in the area I've always been able to get a seat.

The service here was great but the teas weren't the best. The powder didn't mix well with the liquid so it was weird to drink even though the flavors were tasty.

Came here for poke with my coworker and was not disappointed. Momentea was on par with other poke pricing (ie. Poke works) but provided much more with great quality. You have a variety of fish to choose from- the fish is in large chunks and seasoned well. I chose the salmon and spicy tuna (still chunks) over a bed of half white rice and half greens. I went on to add a variety of toppings, all which were given in large portions. There are also plenty of sauces to choose from, which I appreciated. All of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. There are even some premium items that you can upgrade to (ie shiitake mushrooms, etc). Would definitely come back here again.

I would say the rudest people I ever met in my life work here! The food is "nothing special" Stopping by this place is not worth it. Try another Asian place around, you will be happier for sure! And the floor is DISGUSTING

Got a classic milk tea with boba. Milk tea is fine, boba was awful. Super tough and very obviously made way earlier (not fresh at all). I'd get the milk tea again but not with the boba.

First time here and I came in because I saw on their sign that they sold boba, smoothies, poke bowls, sushi, and ramen. What? It's like they looked at all the current food trends and decided to just sell all of them. Anyway, I was here for boba since I already had dinner. Went with the grapefruit green tea, half sweet, with boba. Tasted pretty good. It wasn't too sweet and the taste of the tea came through even with all the grapefruit that was there. It looks like they use some pulpy grapefruit juice to mix into the tea. The grapefruit slices that came with my drink were a nice touch. The boba was nicely cooked. I'm not quite sure I'd get ramen from here. I'm not even sure I'd get poke bowls from here. But their boba is decent.

If I could I would give this place a ZERO star. First of all, this is my favorite poke place in the Chelsea area. I would recommend my friends and families to come by grab some thing to eat. Second, this is why I would give a zero star to this place now. Preparing the ready-to-eat food with no gloves on. Can not believe that! No wonder how their healthy score from score A to score B now. I don't know if his hand is clean or did he wash the hand before start to mix the crab salad. But this is disgusting and how ruin is to their customers.

I really enjoyed this traditional milk tea! They were sweet and flavorful while the boba was made well. I'd definitely come back and try some of their food next time!

Best tapioca! I love ordering from here. The tapioca is much bigger than other places and their flavors are certainly delightful. I'm hoping more people can visit MomenTea and discover this hidden gem.

In a nutshell: Really thought I would love this place, but I am very bummed I did not. I came in earlier this morning to grab what I thought would be a delicious bubble tea. I ordered the matcha cheese foam tea and I could not have been more disappointed...so much so that I came back and asked for a whole new drink. The matcha looked practically brown, it tasted gritty and bitter and barely any flavor of matcha itself. Also, IT WAS OVER $6 for a medium. After one sip, I just had to come back and get something else...so I exchanged it for a black cheese foam tea. It was actually almost worse than the matcha believe​ it or not. So watered down it just tasted like ice water with cheese foam and a liiiitle bit of boba. Gross. I will not be wasting another $6 on an extremely disappointing tea here; however, I will stop in and give their Poke a try. We'll see if that is worth a better rating than 2/5 stars.

Drink: 5/5 I would highly recommend the boba / tea beverages here if you are just stopping by!! I got the matcha with red bean and it's perfect if you don't like your drink too sweet. The menu just has so many interesting East Asian beverage inspired drinks so it really feels unique from another bubble tea place. I really want to try the yacult drinks next time I visit and there will definitely be a next time! Food: 4/5 I am a big fan of poke and it's always my go to food to eat when it's warmer out. The Hawaiian poke bowl had a great mix of tropical fruit and poke. The fish and fruit were both fresh. I give it a 4/5 because while it was a very solid poke, nothing particularly stood out or made me go wow. That being said, this is a perfect lunch or dinner for days you want to be health conscious and still have something yummy!

The reviews of horrible service are real. Ordered boba for a friend online in their name. When they went to pick it up, they refused to give it to him and made him queue up again. Rude and unhelpful, go to any other place

Solid fruit tea and jasmin milk tea boba! The service was relatively quick and the cafe has a wide variety of drinks and food options. Will come again if I'm in the area and would recommend to anyone!

The noodles were tasty but the use of plastic bowls to contain hot soup is just downright dangerous to one's health. Everyone knows plastics release cancerous elements when exposed to high heat. Also, the scallion pancakes were so thin and oily. It's like eating hardened oil. The lady who made the tea doesn't exercise cleanliness. They toss blenders, mixers in a sink and do not bother washing them properly before/after each use. The lady was lazy and couldn't even finish the job of blending the ice cubes to a complete finish. They wash their hands on the sink where they toss the blenders and mixers, and then they use these to create the next order. I pointed this out to the lady and asked if she washed it and she outright lied and said yes. I want so much to give this place a good rating but the staff and personnel esp the ladies are just unclean in their ways.

Tuna Burrito: This was your classic spicy tuna / California roll in burrito form. The tuna, cucumber, and avocado went perfectly and the spicy miso was the perfect sauce. My only nitpick is that the seaweed was a little hard to chew off. The service was also amazing and what drives this up from a 4-4.5 to 5 for me!
