"A popular Tokyo spot run by second-generation chef Tomonori Tsuda, this place specializes in Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki — a layered, crepe-like pancake topped with cabbage, bean sprouts, pork back rib, and egg — where the ingredients are piled on, covered with a fried egg, pressed to expel water and crisp the cabbage, then brushed with a sweet chili Otafuku sauce made with dates. Tsuda has been serving over 200 customers a day for years and has filled the interior with Hiroshima Carp baseball memorabilia, making it a known hangout for team fans; its proximity to the Tokyo Dome makes it a convenient post-game pitstop and Tsuda says he’s especially excited when active players visit.
