Small gourmet grocery store with unexpectedly great maple creemees. Heard great things about the soft serve here, so I stopped by a few times to scope out the shop. The space is tight but curated, packed with premium local produce, dairy, and an interesting selection of European wines in the back. Not exactly the place for a regular grocery haul, but I grabbed a few jarred sauces for pasta night, and they were honestly excellent. But my main mission was the maple creemee. It’s oddly rare to find soft serve flavors beyond vanilla or matcha these days, so this was a refreshing change. They run it out of a little side window, and over the last few weeks I’ve become mildly addicted. Tried one with maple sprinkles and one without, and liked the plain version better. The sprinkles make the maple pop a bit more, but also push the sweetness a bit too far. Feels odd recommending a grocery/wine shop based on their soft serve, but I genuinely would.

Visited Momma's the day before Thanksgiving to pick up some wine for a large group. The team at the shop was super helpful in suggesting a handful of fun wines to go great with our weekend meals. They made great recommendations within my budget. I also grabbed a maple creamy on my way out the door - delish! It was a fun visit and I will definitely be back!

Very unexpected surprise of a corner store. A variety of produce and grocery goods. It's by no means a regular grocery store. Went for the soft serve maple cone though, and it did not disappoint. The maple sprinkles are a must with this. If not for some random goods, stop by for the ice cream.

Momma's is a fabulous local store that supports local farmers and producers. The maple creemee cannot be beat (don't skip the maple sprinkles!) and the staff is wonderful!

yall……….. how have i been sleeping on this mommas for so long. this place was made for me. natural wines with really wide selection, the largest local heirloom apple varieties available, the most delicious maple soft serve ($5), niche pantry items!!!! yes!!!!!! all their produce is within the New England vicinity and this place is a goldmine for apple hunters like me. 100000% u have my loyalty forever mommas

Nice store to explore some food! I love the ice cream, vanilla and maple twist is the best! I also tried their Cider lemonade, not very impressive, but still good.

Cute shop with good selection of natural wines along with groceries and other items from local producers. Maple ice cream is fantastic!

The store itself is so cute and has so many fresh veggies (like looks like they came straight out of the earth 1 minute ago). And the SOFT SERVE! The maple and vanilla swirl is so good! texture and flavor are unbeatable.

Momma's is the best. The warmest staff, a great selection of high-quality, local foods and goods, and the best maple creemee outside of Vermont (and on par with the best in-state, don't skip the maple sprinkles!). I adore this place. Shop and support local!

Nowhere else in the Commonwealth do you find a cozier and better curated spot. I love lingering here, chatting with the thoughtful staff about which cheese would be perfect for a snack & occasionally splurging on something I know is going to be worth every dime. This season's splurges: Vermont wool lined gloves & a gorgeous lunar calendar...plus a few gifts for friends and an aunt. Heaven on earth!

I love coming to Momma's on a warm summer evening for their maple soft serve. There is usually plenty of street parking available if you come after 7 PM on any evening. They usually offer maple and one other (usually chocolate) flavor of soft serve. They have maple or rainbow sprinkles and you can choose from cup or cone. They use cake cones and there is only one size for the soft serve. They are pretty quick with service and friendly. There is a nice assortment of seasonal fruit and veg inside for purchase along with some niche wines and dairy options. Overall, would highly recommend coming to Momma's for a visit!

Stop what you are doing and head to Momma's for maple soft serve ice cream with (get this!) maple sprinkles! The flavor was delicious but the sprinkles added such an amazing texture! The store is small and cozy and the staff are kind and helpful.

If you find yourself in Cambridge I highly recommend checking out Momma's Grocery and Wine Shop. If you live in the Boston area and haven't dropped by, what are you waiting for? This tiny gem is everything you'd want in a local store--charming, welcoming, and packed with quality products. I was greeted by Zinnia (so lovely) and she was able to recommend some fabulous natural wines. All of their wines are natural! I walked out with some great New England made goodies : goat cheese from VT, potato chips from ME, wine from MA. Although a bit pricey (that's the cost of quality), and a little tight when busy - these are minor issues that cannot keep me away. Pro tip : try their Vermont style Maple Creemee with rainbow sprinkles (delish!)

Tldr: you have to try the maple soft serve!!! This is a very cute little grocery store with a lot of fancy produce and dairy products! It's a bit cramped when crowded but fun to look around. Came for the maple soft serve and it was the best soft serve I've had in a long time!! The maple flavor was so strong and the soft serve was so smooth and creamy. It's only $3 and for the perfect portion.

I went here for the ice cream and it was awesome! It was maple flavored and I loved it. The whole shops was really cute too, great experience overall!

Amazing maple soft serve in a cozy specialty shop near Davis square! The soft serve had the creamiest texture and the perfect amount of sweetness. I loved how mapley it was! In addition to soft serve, this spot also has tons of New England sourced goodies including gorgeous produce, a large natural wine selection, sauces, cheeses, baked goods, and more! I really enjoyed browsing and while it's a small store, it is very well organized! Will definitely be back for more soft serve and any wine needs!

I was enjoying the weather and totally stumbled upon this gem! It's a great store with a lot of unique grocery items such as uniquely flavored popcorns, chips, and syrups. I saw they had the viral Vermont Maple Ice Cream special so decided to try it out. There were different toppings to choose from such as maple sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles. I opted for the maple one since that seemed the most unique. It was delicious! I loved eating the maple ice cream! Not too sweet and the texture was great! The service was great and they even have a walk-through window where you can order the ice cream without going into the store. Overall, it's a cute place to stop by if you're looking to get soft serve or perhaps some charcuterie board items for a night in.

Came here for the maple creemee and was not disappointed, almost ordered a second immediately. I love maple candies and flavored things, and I wish there were more places in MA that offered maple soft serve because it is the perfect soft serve flavor.

Incredibly cute, local, welcoming, and eclectic shop. I think one of my favorites parts about Momma's is taking a slow walk around to see what gems they have in store. If you wander in not knowing what to make - no problem! Resort to the recipe wall with cookbooks available to borrow to find recipes and ingredients. You can tell a lot of thought was put into each of the items that are stocked, and while they may not have your everything - they truly could have anything and with this they get my heart. The charm, effort, and community feel that Momma's generates is hard to find in something we think of as a "grocery store" and I will continue to return to find a space that is inspiring, delicious, and welcoming. Thank you for making a space that really connects so many aspects of "nourishment" into one spot - and then beyond there's maple creamies!!

I came here with my friends last night to get the maple soft serve. I wasn't sure if I was gonna like it cause I'm not a huge maple fan, but it was seriously delicious. I could've eaten five more. I highly recommend it. It's the perfect fall tree. They also have maple sprinkles which I thought was cute, but I got chocolate. YUM!

Saw the Maple soft serve on social media and my friend and I joined in Davis Sq to get here. We both loved it so much we unashamedly went again the next day and brought some for our friend working at home. It probably was the best soft serve i've had. It had a great texture and a not too sweet but delicious maple flavor. I think with the vanilla swirl it was perfect and not too strong in either way. I live in California and i miss it already. The store is cute with really unique and well curated goods. Plenty to look and and plenty we wanted to try!

The soft serve is excellent. They sell a bunch of other things too, but I'm always distracted by the soft serve.

They have Maple Creemees!! This is a uniquely Vermont treat & now you can buy it in Cambridge. A creemee is between a soft serve & hard ice cream with a lovely maple flavor. Just divine!! Also this place has wonderful cider donuts. The service is friendly. Will definitely return!

FANTASTIC Vermont style maple creemees, soft serve ice cream. We've been driving to Vermont for this and are thrilled that we found this wonderful, high quality treat right in Cambridge. LOVE.

Maple-Chocolate soft-serve twist is very good!! I was quite surprised since soft-serves are usually just okay. $5 for a small cup, but worth it.

We don't usually shop here but saw the ice cream picture board out front and decided to stop. We were pleasantly surprised to find soft serve and maple flavor! The maple was delicious as we had gotten addicted to maple creemees in Vermont, and it's one of our favorite flavors when we make ice cream at home. I liked the chocolate as well, but my daughter did not like the texture (there were some bits).
