I’d rate this Nepalese restaurant 3 stars. While it’s a nice spot to try, it has some drawbacks. The listed price range of $10–$20 is misleading—it’s definitely closer to $30 per person. For a place that looks more casual, it feels a bit overpriced, especially for lunch.
That said, the food does shine in parts. The dumplings (momos) were absolutely divine! We tried both the pork and chicken steamed varieties, and they were fantastic—flavorful, tender, and definitely recommended. The wild spicy lamb was good as well. Surprisingly, the butter chicken masala stood out the most, but not for the right reasons—it was unexpectedly sweet. I’ve tried butter chicken at many places, and this was my first time experiencing a sweet version. Perhaps it’s a Nepalese twist, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.
One other thing to note: water isn’t provided, so we had to purchase bottled water, which added to the cost.
All in all, it’s worth checking out once, but there are plenty of other places I’d explore before returning.
