Good place to have some real South American steaks (from Uruguay). Especially in a country where they don't really know how good meat is supposed to taste.
The service and decor are very good.
The wines are excellent.
The chocolate cake was very good.
Now to the main dishes and the reason i give it only 4 stars:
The meat was prepared to the exact point as ordered (we had the entrecot and tenderloin). And the meat was quite good, but, the portion sizes are very small, especially for the price.
Another issue is the consistency - since the size is small, i ordered the entrecot twice to make it an even 0.5kg as a good steak should be. But there was a noticable difference between the first and second steak. The second was actually much better in taste (not because of the preparation but because of the quality of the meat). For a place of such caliber, it is not good to have such a difference in meat quality....
Another disappointing thing was the sauce on top of the gratin, just felt like mayo....
Overall, it's a fine establishment, but they really need to step up their game, especially at their price range.
