I tried the Butter Chicken Momos here. These came in a group of 10, with a ton of the buttery sauce around it
On the sauce - I did like the amount of it, but the flavor was slightly lacking. The bowl had a ton of the sauce present - such that each of the
individual dumplings was covered in it. It also had a pretty good thickness as well. My issue with it though was the flavor was just really mild.
It had a hint of butter and a little bit of tomato, but the overall flavor didn't really come through in the dish as much as I was looking for
also the cilantro was straight up missing, which was weird
The dumplings itself were decent enough. The outside absorbed the sauces well, and had good texture to it. The chicken on the inside was pretty mushy, but I thought it was relatively average.
If I had to guess, the steamed dumplings would be a good amount better. I tried one of the chili chicken dumplings and it tasted a lot better than the butter chicken ones
The portion size is pretty good here. Each momo is quite large, meaning that 10 of them is a good amount - for the roughly $15 that this dish costs
Overall, I do think this place does pretty good momos, but the butter-based sauce was a miss in my opinion. 7/10
